Never given a one star review, but after calling three times to get an emergency gate repair (A truck was stolen and driven through the existing gate) and being told twice that they would send someone out later that day, and then not showing up, nor bothering to call. definitely would not recommend in an emergency situation, and judging by their response to that, i couldn't in good conscience give them any recommendation.

I called 4 times and never got past the front desk. I really need some work and I have a 1/2 acre. I was too embarrassed to keep calling. I just stopped calling. Update: Apparently they only do commercial jobs but didn't tell me that. It would have been nice to know that when I called the first time. They only told me it was a 50 ft. Min. 5 stars because they asked me to correct the rating because it didn't reflect their work. Ok

Stay clear of this company. Called to get information on a having a vinyl privacy wall topper installed on my existing block wall. Gave all information asked and was told that an estimate would be emailed to me in about an hour. Did not receive the quote by the next day so I tried to contact them to verify my info was correct. Multiple calls throughout the day and only get an answering machine.

When I did finally get a person and started to explain my situation I was mysteriously disconnected. Tried calling back and direct to machine again. From the looks of other reviewers comments this is typical of how their business is run.

My first encounter with this company the owners brother came out to make repairs on a damaged gate. Not only was he rude but had an attitude and gave me a hard time doing the work the way I wanted it done. I don't recommend using this company as they don't show up on time. They don't return phone calls nor do they do not let you know when they have arrived, they just begin working.

They rush to finish the job than leave without notice. I left a message to let them know I was unhappy with their work, I haven't received a call back. The last gate repair they did for me I had to make changes for it to work correctly. I will not being doing business with this company again.

I cannot say how grateful I am to DeFence Co. I had an emergency at my rental property and needed a fence ASAP. Susan drove to the property on the day I called her (a Saturday afternoon) and had a quote that same evening. The fence was installed that Monday! The wood fence they installed exceeded my expectations! Great business and very professional! Looking forward to doing business with them again!

Susan came out to measure my existing wood fence that was rotting away and I was in the market to install a vinyl fence which comes with Limited Lifetime Warranty. A couple of days later I received the quote from Susan and they were by far more competitive in pricing than another local fence company. I decided to hire Defence immediately and it took about 10 days for the material to arrive but only 2 days to remove my old fence and install about 160 linear feet of fencing.

The fence looks so great that my neighbor also hired Defence to install the same fence. I understand that some of the reviewers did receive a quote from Defence but if you do, I highly recommend hiring them. Thank you Rudy and Susan. Now I have to paint my house so it looks as nice as our new fence.

Left numerous voicemails requesting an estimate and never received a call back. Finally got through to someone and she instructed me to email photos of the damages and they would send me an electronic estimate via email. Days went by and nothing once again. Finally after leaving additional voicemails and still no call backs. I got through to Susan who informed me that for residential work they require a minimum of 50 feet of chain link replacement before they can come out. It is unfortunate and unprofessional they didn't mention this on their website or when I first spoke to them.

My husband and I use Yelp all the time for everything its always been a huge help. We saw that the reviews showed that this company did good work, but also saw the one star about them not getting back to a possible new client. Well we decided to give them a call and hope the one star was a fluke. So we called and they came right out - same day we were really excited because we thought we were going to get our fencing done.

Since we asked for vinyl coated chain link. Rudy the gentleman who came out to measure said he would have to get back to us with a quote. Rudy even made a great suggestion for us, but unfortunately we did not get a call back the next day. So we called and left a message and we still didn't get a call back. We don't get it.started off great but really don't know why the couldn't call back. We had hoped we could have given them a good review. We'll never know.

We wanted to install a vinyl fence to enclose our front yard, after some internet searching we found three places to get quotes from. DeFence was the lowest of three and by a reasonable amount. At first we were worried about the lower price and wondered if it came at a cost of inferior product and workmanship. I asked Rudy to come by once more to re measure as we made a slight alteration to our fence design and it gave us a chance to ask a few questions.

After talking to him about our concerns we decided to go with him, as he had laid to rest our concerns. We are very happy we decided to go with this company. Rudy did a fantastic job work time was not that long a few days, and the fence looks great. The product, the professionalism and personal touch Rudy did has made me a customer for life. Not to mention how the fence has made our house look better than before. I will call him for any future needs and I suggest if you're looking for fence work call him! I promise you will not be disappointed at all.

Defence did a superior job installing a 140' x6' tall chain link fence plus specialty 12' gates for me. Rudy returned my phone call right away, Susan came out that day for an estimate -- which was more reasonably priced than 2 other estimates I got. Start to finish the estimate to the latching of my gates: less than a week. All work is secure and looks great!

They cleaned up, worked quietly, showed up when they promised. I am so impressed with their work ethic, professionalism and ability to get the job done fast. Their good work means I can move on to the next thing on my To Do list. Thanks, Defence!

I was really hoping to have a wonderful experience with this company. I called over one week ago and spoke to the owner who informed me that he could meet me at my home the same day and get me an estimate for the work I needed. He asked if he could call me back to confirm a specific time when he got back to his office. He NEVER called. Since then I've called on two seperate occasions and left detailed messages requesting a return call.

I wanted to give him another chance since he was on a jobsite when we initially spoke. As of today, I have not been contacted by this company to follow up on my request for an estimate. Simply put, the lack of follow through leaves me no alternative than to NOT recommend this company.

This company specialize in wood and vinyl fences, block walls and gates. We recently replaced our old wood fence around the yard to new vinyl fence. Rudy the owner and his crews did an excellent job from start to finish beyond our expectation. We are very happy with the new look. Highly recommended!
