A-1 Fence

We had a problem with our chain link fence and needed quick turn around on getting it fixed. A-1 was able to respond same day to look over and fix the fence. Very pleased and will use again.

A-1 installed a fence at our company a while back in Rancho Dominguez ( Compton area ) and recently someone had broken in by cutting all the clamps that attach the chain-link to the pole, so I called A-1 since I figured I am a returning customer and they had the sales rep for my area return my call, in which the gentlemen was nice, promised me a quote in a couple of hours and I received nothing, I called back the same day and he said I am sending that quote now, and still received nothing, I called back the next day I was told I am pulling in the parking lot now and I will send that quote rite away, here we are 3 days later and I received nothing. So I guess if the job isn't a money maker for them even though you are an existing customer they wont deal with you. They just keep yanking your chain.

I wanted an estimate on a new fence on a rental property 45 minutes from my house. I was given a two hour window from 10 to 12. So I sat and waited 2 hours. At 12 I get a call, he will arrive between 1 and 1:30. So I wait another 1 1/2 hours. Then he calls and says 2.30 to 3pm. That was it for me. If this co. Is so careless of my time, imagine what they would do with my fence!

Marty originally quoted me 1700 to have a 5x5x5x7 fence installed in my warehouse. A few hours later he calls me and says i "Accidentally punch the wrong key, i punched in a 1 instead of a 2". So now i have a quote for 2700 instead of the 1700 originally quoted. I have to tell you being a business man myself, even if i Accidentally punched the wrong key i would still go with my original quote and eat the cost difference, it doesnt really look good changing prices by a thousand dollars so i can make more profit. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS MOVE MARTY, SHAME ON YOU.

I've worked with Rosie on a few projects and she's always extremely helpful and professional. She recently made a "miracle" happen for one of our demanding construction managers. Thanks again Rosie and A-1 we truly appreciate it!

TERRIBLE. Scheduled an appt to estimate block wall. Never showed. no call, nothing. Called office and got recoded message. Never got a call back Says a lot about this vendor

Well, shame on me for not reading the reviews BEFORE calling this company for a quote. The EXACT same thing happened to me when trying to get a quote from Marty. Promised me to come out to take measurements, never did, never provided a quote and hasn't even given me a courtesy phone call despite my follow-up call. Wow, must be nice to be so busy that you ignore leads.

I guess I should have read the Yelp reviews before calling this place. If I can give a negative star, I would. This place is horrible! I called with a request to get an estimate for a gate for one of our commercial property's docking area. The lady took down the information and told me that someone will be calling me back. I had to call again after a few days since no one contacted me and leave a message on their v.mail. Marty called me back and asked me what was needed.

He wasn't interested at all in coming out to see the location of the fence but just wanted dimensions which I provided over the phone. Again, nothing! No call back! It's truly amazing that a company like this exists in these economic times! Save your time, which in my case, is more important than money and go elsewhere! There are plenty of fence companies in the North OC / Anaheim area that have much better service and better reviews than this place! Also, be skeptical of these reviewers that only have the 1 review.

I was in contact with Rosie and she was great. I gave her a really short notice and she was able to get the fencing installed at my construction sight within the next day. Definitely recommend this company, awesome experience!

Today's a good day the system crash $40 material is on the house a one way to go other than that no problems more than happy to pay for the material

I needed a chain link fence with a hard to find size. I was in a real time crunch, but Rosie went out of her way to find it for me and she saved the day!

I'm totally confused as to the reviews on yelp on this company. I talked to Rosie about a fence job and she was so professional and unbelievably helpful! If I ever need another fence job this company has me till the end of time. Way to go A-1 for hiring such incredible employees. Keep up the great work.

We ordered a fence and gate which we were told would take 1 day to complete. It took 5 weeks to just get the material and schedule a date. They put up the fence just fine but did not fully complete the work. Said they'd be back the following day so we had our daughter stay home for the morning and wait for them. They never showed or called. 2nd day she stayed home in the morning and by 5 pm they had put up a post.

Day 3 and still not complete when it was supposed to take 1 DAY! Called each day and was told they didn't know was going on and they'd get back to us. Still no word and no one seems to know what's going on. Our HOA is getting on our case because it is an eyesore being incomplete. Don't go with this company unless you're ready to not have a completed job that looks terrible. Going to have to take them to court.

I contacted A-1 Fence Company to request a bid for a self closing gate and pool fence at the property I manage. I received a quick reply saying my information was forwarded to Marty, who would be calling me. Unfortunately 10 days later I still hadn't heard from him and I was told he'd get with me sometime in the next week. Seriously, is this a one man operation or what? I don't think A-1 fence understands the concept of time is of the essence.

I called A1 to have them bid a job for me. The receptionist said I would have to speak with Marty. However, he was at lunch, but she would have him call me. I waited a day, and I never heard back. So I called them back. I asked for Marty, and he scheduled me for a week out to do the bid. I agreed, and he said he would call me the day before to set up the time.

By 4 pm I had not heard from him so I called him. I had to leave a message. He calls me back and says he will have to cancel because of car trouble. The company obviously does not need the work. DO NOT USE THEM!

By far the most helpful fencing place I've ever seen. I only needed some line post tops for some weird measurement that isn't standard for poles and these guys had it! For quality materials and super cheap prices (wish I went here before home depot) I would recommend this place to anyone. Marco and Marcello(I think that was his name) were super helpful

Isaac from this company came out expeditiously to bid a LARGE residential fence job for 2 1/2 acres of property. I was told that I would receive an estimate in a few days. When I received an email from Isaac to read A-1 Fence Company's bid, I was shocked to read that the following. (sic) I apologize for the in-convenience but we have decided not to bid on your fencing project. REALLY?!

A fence company that doesn't bid on fencing projects?! What the heck are they in business for? Spending time on bids to not actually give them? What a waste of my time and day to meet these fools.don't bother with them and look elsewhere.
