They were very rude, cursing every other sentence. Unorganized, messy, careless. I would've been happier with their competitors instead. First and last time with them. Reeked of marajuana upon arrival as well as returning from meal breaks. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

The work performed is not reflective of the price. I was charged $234 to replace the guts on one toilet (supply line, fill valve, flush disk) and $264 (!) for them to snake a bathroom sink that was slow-draining. The quote I originally received for $500 was supposed to include replacing an o-ring on a different toilet, but the worker decided to just shim it instead.

Which is not what I wanted & was supposed to be included in the cost. I guess that's why I was charged $264 for snaking a drain, which costs hardly anything in parts and anybody can do. The work was done quick, I'll give them that. But why wouldn't it be? It's easy work. $264 for snaking a drain. smh. I'll never use them again. Just know they might change the original request without notice. I only hired them because I thought they were cheaper than another quote. But he didn't even replace the o-ring (which we had originally agreed upon).

I had Measer to install my heating and air conditioning. I have call a number times to get the state inspection sticker on my unit. It has been 11 months and I still have not had the unit inspected. I have called Maeser with the promise to return my call and address my issue. No return call. I have called multiple times in a day, no return call. Maeser has charged me money for that inspection and I can't get someone to follow up on my concern. Next stop, the Better Business. Or FTC, really to see if they can find out for me why I can get this resolved.

Technician was excellent. Had a leak in a basement pipe and they came out within an hour of me calling. Come to find out my autistic son left the guest sink on and it was just overflowing down the pipe. He fixed the issue so my son could no longer put down the stopper helping with any future issues. He was understanding of our special needs household and have us a great alternative to make our home autism friendly.

Critical:Value I guarantee you they are the most expensive in town. I had to use them in a pinch. I'm a pretty knowledgeable homeowner but lacked the tools to open up the main line. 590 dollars and a half an hour later, the line was opened but at a hefty price and only a 30 day guarantee. Use one of the many other plumbing companies in town. The prices at Maeser are double, sometimes triple that of their competitors. We had to use them in a pinch after coming home from vacation and were charged almost 600 dollars to snake a line. Do not waste your money with this company.

This is the second time I've called on Maeser for help and I now have them at the top of my list for future service and remodeling needs. Responsive, pleasant, flexible, excellent communication company wide, on time, neat, respectful of my home and reasonably priced. John Druin clearly communicates options, potential downsides of each option and pricing before beginning work. On both visits he was able to solve the problems with the least disruption and cost. What more could I ask?

I had an exterior faucet on my home that gradually went from dripping to gushing. Had to put a cap on it to get it to stop but that left me with no faucet because the only other one hadn't worked since probably the 40s. I contacted Maeser Plumbing and they sent over Logan. Ends up my antiquated faucet needed a part that not a lot of supply houses keep in stock. But, Logan did the research and tracked it down for me. He went above and beyond what I'd expected. Now, I have a working faucet! Maeser is lucky to have such a dedicated technician working for them.

Joni, I called Alex this morning and left a message and sent an email to him as well. I have heard nothing back. Obviously this matter isn't important to the company. Joni I spoke to Alex this morning I had to call him again. I left all of my information yesterday as well as an email there was no response. He stated today that there are no refunds and still defends your company although a very well known company found we didn't need a new furnace and there was nothing wrong with the heat exchange. I am going to contact BBB.

Technician was great but pricing was very high and inconsistent. I had to clear sewer drain twice in less than 10 months and used Maeser both times. The first time the price was $199 which was good value, but last weekend the basic rate was $399! Also I had to pay a $95 fee for overtime. So I had to pay almost $500 for a simple cleanout. I was hoping to be a longtime customer, but will not use them again due to the inconsistent pricing.

The initial call was great came right out provided the service they got paid $1900 even before the work was done! Once the work was done I was left w a mess and continued to get the run around about the clean up potion the re leveling and filling in holes, it's a month later and all the response I've gotten was they came back once and basically threw patches of some dark soil on top of unleveled hard dirt from their work, they did not fill the holes but only threw dirt on top the holes are still unfilled I have pictures saved!

After spending $1900 being on a corner lot I expected better! My last complaint two weeks ago to try to resolve my concerns has went on deaf ears and no one has called me to discuss my dissatisfaction nor my satisfaction, I guess as long as payment was met that's all that mattered! Had I not paid id definitely would be getting some calls from them! No worries I'll hire someone else to make my yard look back to normal again because it doesn't look like I'll be hearing from you guys but hey Thanks

This company is the exact reason people get nervous when calling a plumber. Had a minor mainline clog, told them over the phone that's what it was. Plumber shows up and doesn't even investigate the problem, just states the insane cost. 39 minutes later and $505 of my hard earned dollars down the drain literally. Doctors don't even make that kind of money.

Definitely a technician you can trust in a world full of scammers looking to take advantage you. After my next appointment I'll be taken care of completely, but already I'm thinking I'll definitely come back to Maeser Master Services to help me in remodeling my bathroom.

Great work fast! I would like to thank Rodney and Tyler from Maeser. I just had a large leak repaired and they did a great job. They came out same day explained our options and were very informative. I had Maeser do a lot of plumbing issues I had. The kitchen drain needed to be replaced. Powered Room, needed drain repaired. Needed a new commode in the full bath. And a new water heater. Very pleased with the work. They came on time and completed the work when they said they would. Very pleased with the prices.

When I called Maeser, the receptionist was very nice and was able to send a technician out that same day, just a couple of hours later. Our technician was very knowledgeable and friendly and diligently cleaned up his work area. If we have any future plumbing or HVAC issues, I will happily call Maeser to take care of them. Maeser was able to have someone to our house within 30 minutes of calling to fix an issue which was interfering with a new refrigerator being installed. Josh did a fantastic job of identifying and resolving the issue promptly and for a very reasonable cost. He was extremely professional and helpful. Very impressed and highly recommend.

Taylor showed up within the time frame I was given. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He analyzed my needs and quickly made suggestions and offered alternatives with prices in moments. He made sure that I had complete understanding of what services he would be performing and the cost involved. I agreed with the prices and everything that he needed was already stocked on his truck.

He was able to start immediately and completed all tasks quickly. He then went over what he had done including warranty information. He is a fine example of himself and his company. We highly recommend.

They were great when I had a pipe burst at 2 am and it was flooding into my basement rooms. They lady that took my info was really kind and helpful! The tech that came out, Steve, was super communicative and explained everything he could do and then auggested what i would need to do next. I really appreciated their help and professionalism! I would use maeser in an emergency again!

Tom Drexler quoted me a minimum of $4K to perform exploratory work. Eddie from Maeser was recommended by a family friend to provide a 2nd opinion. Eddie was professional, informative and through on the initial inspection and work. He was able to identify the issue and ended up being able to make the repairs for less than $300.

We've hired Maeser twice for two unexpected water issues - but isn't this the case for most plumbing needs? The first visit happened when my husband broke the porcelain toilet while changing the seat. So much for a cheap upgrade! He called a couple of plumbers and Maeser said someone could come right away with a toilet. Not an ideal scenario but my husband was terrified if the toilet broke beyond the crack we'd have a small flood.

The service technicians were quick and didn't leave any mess behind. Our recent visit happened this week. A bubble in the kitchen ceiling paint brought attention to a leak from the upstairs bathroom. The drywall was cracked along the seam. Our appointment time was scheduled between 10a - noon, which is the period the service technicians arrived.

The team very thoroughly checked the fixtures, not only in the upstairs bathroom but the master bathroom next to it. After checking a handful of areas we were left with the conclusion we'd have to cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling to reveal the pipes. After cutting away the drywall we could see it was very wet but our pipes were dry! It had the service technicians stumped.

I was thankful my husband was staying with them to ensure they kept looking. It led the service technicians to uncover a small gap between the bathroom tile and closet doorway, which sits next to the bathtub. Very, very small. When water was poured into the gap it poured into the kitchen downstairs! While I'm happy the fix wasn't replacing pipes or another experience alternative I can't believe a gap in caulk led to wet drywall and a hole in my ceiling.

Our tub and edges are now fixed and we added a tub splash guard as recommended by the service technicians. Again, another job well job. Responsive, friendly and helpful service, cleaned up the area well and answered my husband's questions. Maeser does charge a diagnostic fee that can be applied toward the service. It's better than most (we've not found a plumber with free estimates). We will call them again for future plumbing needs.

Wendell - After Hours Service Rep Steve - Plumber Technician Roy - Delivery Assistant 5 Stars are not enough. I would give 25 stars if available. I called in the evening after working hours. Wendell set up a consultation appointment for the very next day. Steve Flatt arrived on Friday and was very easy to deal with and thoroughly explained the job. Roy delivered the new hot water and when he did Steve already had the old model ready to be removed. By 5 pm that day I had a new hot water heater. So very thankful as it was a holiday weekend coming up. Don't hesitate to call Maeser. If allowed ask for Steve Flatt.

We've had these guys 4 times in 8 months for various issues in our new 30 yr old house. Disposal replacement faucet replacement hvac eval and water heater eval. Always courteous prompt and competent service completely done. Even though we needed a different company for the new water heater ( home warranty coverage) their work was on point and efficient. Will call them any time!

Maeser came very highly recommended from a friend of mine, so we reached out to them for some very routine maintenance and service for our single family home's HVAC unit. They were very personable on the phone and initially helpful in scheduling this service. The day of service rolls around, and no one showed up to my house for service. As this was on a Friday, I waited through the weekend to call them to see what the problem was. Turns out, the receptionist who took my call wrote down the incorrect phone number, and as such, the technician in the field couldn't reach me.

I took this in stride, "no big deal, " etc. We rescheduled for a later date. That second date (5/22), again, another no-show. I called Maeser to see what was going on this time around. Again, the technician had tried reaching me at my cell phone, and as there was no answer, my appointment was not completed. No voicemails left. I confirmed with the receptionist taking my call this time around, Ricardo, that they had the correct number on file, which they did. I've had my cell phone on me with completely normal service this entire day, and I've received countless phone calls from other people today. So, either they never called me, or the field technicians still have my incorrect number. Ricardo offered to reschedule again, but I was pretty livid at this point and declined.

I cannot continue leaving work for the afternoon and have people no-show for appointments. I've been available on both dates with a fully functioning cell phone at the appointment times twice now, and I can't give them the benefit of the doubt a third time. Will be seeking service elsewhere.

As I entered my home from a very busy day, I smelled a horrible smell throughout the house. The waste ejector in the basement had stopped working! I immediately called Maeser Master Service. Robert & companion responded to our crisis in a short period of time. We could have had sewage all over our finished basement if they had not responded so quickly! And they replaced our master bathtub hardware when they were finished in the basement. Great service! THANK YOU Maeser Master Service! Your company deserves 5 stars!

Our guest room toilet was clogged and not draining when flushed. I contacted Maeser Plumbing to set-up an appointment for Friday (4/3/20). The Plumbing Technician (Jesse), arrived right on-time and was very professional and efficient in troubleshooting the issue and offering a fix. We purchased a house near the U of L for our child and some friends to live in next school year. Unfortunately we have discovered multiple plumbing issues during our remodel. I googled and searched yelp for this provider and felt the number of good reviews outweighed the bad. I was impressed with the same day service, courteousness of both the staff answering the phone and Jesse, our technician.

While we painted and cleaned he handled each and every problem with professionalism, explaining the issues and what was needed to resolve the problems. I hope we don't need Maeser's service again, but if we do I will have no doubt to call them.

We experienced a pipe bust this evening. Michael responded and fixed the pipe in less than 2 hours. This type of emergency service on a Sunday evening was better than we would have expected. We are back in business!

Maser installed a furnace and HVAC system in my house. A little over a year later, the brand new heat pump has a failed TXV. I've been told this is usually because the installer uses the old refrigerant line and does not clean the line properly. Maser sent a tech to check on the problem and told me the unit I was sold is a piece of crap. Then said I probably need another one.after only a year of service.

They were supposed to be in contact with me to schedule a repair, but they never called. The tech also told me they have been instructed to up-sell services lately, so beware. They've got to pay for all of those primetime commercials somehow.

NOTE: Maeser did a full bathroom remodel (not just plumbing work). Posting review because they keep texting/emailing asking me to do so. tl;dr: Pretty/functioning bathroom, awful customer service at the end. GREAT: 1. Maeser was willing to take my project after others rejected it because the building was 100+ years old & had a strict HOA. They were fine with handling the old plumbing, concrete floors/walls, limited working hours & complicated logistics.

I received no complaints from my neighbors, which is amazing given the scale/length of the work. 2. The design process was lovely. Anna worked within my budget, making suggestions for where we could use pre-made items from Lowe's (vanity, shower door) vs. where money should be spent for customization (tile, doors for existing built-in cabinetry). After an initial consult & lots of decision-making via email (which was very convenient), it was great to visit the showroom to make all of the final choices. 3.

I assume that the plumbing/unseen work was of quality, as I've had no problems with leaks, functionality, etc. 4. I trusted all of the people working in my home. I moved out during the work (this is my only bathroom) & a realtor's keybox was used for access. SO-SO: 5. The timeline was way off. Work started the Mon. 12/2 & mapped out at 2 weeks. I was later told 2 more days, then 5 more days.

In the end, the work was barely completed in time for me to move back in by Christmas (the absolute deadline) & actually would not have been complete by then if I had not done the paint/grout touch-ups myself. 6. The charge for painting was exorbitant. I added this on later & didn't ask the price - my mistake, so I paid without complaining. The charge was $560 to paint a 5x10 bathroom (not ceiling, & I provided paint) where a significant portion was tile. 7.

The texts/calls were non-stop. I appreciated the idea behind this - that anyone working in my home on a given day (plumber, painter, drywaller, cabinet maker, tiler) was expected to notify me before entering. But it was a regular interruption & often included questions I couldn't answer like the keybox code, where things were stored, etc. TERRIBLE: 8.

My project ended with incomplete/shoddy finishing work. On Fri 12/20, I received a text from Anna saying the project was finished except for a paint trim touch up that would be completed the next morning. I returned home to find that fixtures had not been installed, all switch plates were missing, shower full of equipment, & cabinets full of garbage.

The wrong light fixture had also been installed, leaving a very dark bathroom. I texted back and she said she'd been told it was finished, though I guess that means that she hadn't actually checked the final project. They returned that day to fix a few things. However, these final touch-ups were still poor - you can see in the pictures that they left a hole in the wall/trim large enough to fit my hand in, switchplates not flush with the wall, caulk dripping into the grout, screws out of various fixtures, a missing towel ring. 9. Anna said these would be fixed on Mon. 12/23.

That day, I didn't receive a call from them, so I called Maeser. They sent Tom out to fix some of the items -- the hole & switchplates (patched with caulk), the towel ring, etc. He also installed a blind that I had purchased over the weekend. At noon, I received a text from Anna saying that Tom couldn't come out that day/that the towel ring hadn't arrived -- both lies, as Tom and the towel ring were both in my house. (She was out of town and it turns out that she hadn't planned/bothered to check to see if this work could be finished.) When I told her this, she never apologized for the lies/the fact that she was going to leave the project unfinished until after Christmas, she just told me that she'd have to charge me for the 15 minutes Tom spent installing the blind (which seems petty in a project of 3 weeks and thousands & thousands of dollars!). After 10 days of no contact, I was contacted yesterday with my final bill & paid it just to be finished with Maeser.

Maeser services went above and beyond. They came in and gave us a free estimate for our bathroom request and was even willing to come back that day and fix the issue! They ended up coming back today and completing the whole project within about an hour and a half. Our plumber, mark was friendly and quick in explaining everything that had been done.

What I love about Maeser is that they send information regarding the plumber that will be coming to your home so you know who to expect. They do background checks and find skilled technicians who are certified and worthy of doing a great job!

It required my writing an updated 1-star review, but after being offered a refund of my service charge, the business owner profile on the Yelp page being unreachable, another assigned business owner with a different name sending me a private message, and emailing them with my pertinent information, I finally did receive the refund I was offered. There was a bit of run around, and it was frustrating, but eventually there was follow-through.

So at least there is that. They did spell my name wrong on the check they sent and I was just hoping that the deposit would go without a hiccup. And as of today, it was posted in my account.

Furnace wasn't working, going down in the thirties tonight. Called and had a tech that day but he needed a part across town. It was close to 5:00 but he called and asked them to wait for him. They did, he came back and fixed the problem.

I went down to my basement this morning to do laundry and I found that sewage had back up into my basement. I called Maeser Master Services at 9:25am to tell them of my predicament. They had someone on their way by 9:45am and completed the job of snaking the pipes by 11:15am.

Jake, the apprentice, along with Mark, were absolutely phenomenal. After another Plummer had been her, and failed, in comes Maser's Markand Jake. In doing their usual routine to no avail they could not understand why the snake was not going any further than the toilet bend.

I called with an emergency water heater leak. Lee came out, gave me my choice of service (new one or fix this one). I've used this company for a furnace, central air and now water heater. Lee was totally professional, did not rush and explained everything.

I woke up this morning and my sump pump was making strange noises. When I went to investigate, it was running non-stop. I was afraid that the motor would burn up. We had previously discussed replacing the pump since it was several years old.

Maeser Master services far exceeded my expectations when I called them on a Saturday morning with a broken commode. I was expecting to get a recorded message of their normal working hours. Rather, Traci answered my call and advised me she would call me back when she could schedule a tech.

Maeser Services always does a wonderful job for us. We have an annual contract so they come twice a year to check heating and air. They call to set up a time, that is followed up with a phone call to give us 30 minute arrival notification and the professionals that come out are superb in this case, Adam.

The Maeser team did an efficient and competent job on our plumbing problem. Two other plumbers couldn't figure out just what to do, but Reid and Jamie diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what they would do and what their back up plan would be.
