Called for a second opinion after a competitor had informed me that it would be about $7,500 repair job with all kinds of issues. Paul was very kind and courteous and had no problems with explaining the details of what he would do, and then he did them and was done in less than an hour having resolved the problem. The competitor had said it would be several weeks for them to resolve the issue. I strongly recommend Elek Plumbing for excellent and honest work. Thank you!

Excellent and courteous service. Prompt and reliable. Derek answered the phone gave me accurate information, called back in minutes to arrange an emergency visit. Jody and Andrew arrived in an hour, made an assessment, and gave a straight forward price to replace the water heater. Kudos to this company for outstanding customer care and professional and personable employees.

From start to finish, this company was amazing. VERY friendly staff from Kelly, Brian, Jesse, Steve and the whole team that came out to replace my cast iron sewer line. Very knowledgeable, easy to get a hold of and came out immediately! Hands down they are THE best in the area! I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done. I'm not big posts but when someone stands out I feel they should be congratulated and encouraged to continue. Needing a plumber I contacted several companies one of which was Elek. Although in the end I wasn't able to utilize their services on this project I will save the contact with the belief I will at some point in the future. As a business they have good communication practices.

Carlos C. was terrific! We had a pipe attached to a hose bib that needed to be repaired. We also needed our sump pump pipe re-routed further away from the house. Carlos was on time, professional, and explained everything that he needed to do before doing the work. We will definitely be using Elek again in the future for any other issues that may pop up, and will be using them again in the spring for air duct cleaning. Thank you for all of your help!

This company and their employees are wonderful! Would give them 10 stars if I could. From the proposal all the way through to the completed job they were friendly, professional, and focused on detail. The installers, both male and female, are hard-working and committed to getting the job done right. And they are never too busy to answer any questions! So happy with our decision to use their services and we highly recommend!

For the first time since moving to this house 20 years ago, we had a minor flood in the basement due to a sewer backup. We contacted Elek Plumbing. The very same day, two plumbers came and tried to fix it with a snake. They sent a camera down the pipe and found that there was a tree root obstruction in the pipe. Elek Plumbing obtained the necessary permit from the township and called PA-1 Call to mark the utilities in the ground. Elek professionally coordinated the teams needed to prepare the site for excavation, as well as those who did the actual excavation - 10' down.

A section of the sewer pipe was replaced with 4" PVC which extended into the 6" clay lateral through to the main sewer under the street. A new bidirectional cleanout pipe was installed. They came back the next day to clean the pipe with a hydrojet, but there still remains a blockage in the main sewer. They applied root killer and left us some more for two additional applications.

We were told they would notify the City/Township. Brian and the Elek staff we got to know were very professional and eager to help us through the difficult situation. We appreciate that they did everything possible to schedule the work as soon as possible. It took 12 days from start to finish. Home buyers and homeowners should have their sewer pipes inspected with a camera, to avoid costly problems. We were very satisfied with the services provided by Elek Plumbing and would highly recommend the company to people looking for reliable plumbing services.

Same day service for an emergency electric water heater replacement. Bert, Anthony and Brady showed up on time and got to the job quickly. Zip-Zip, Anthony and Brady had a new water heater installed in under two hours. The ProPress fittings look great. Fantastic job. Thanks guys. I called Elek about a clogged toilet. Turns out it was not the toilet at all but lots of issues with my line that leads outside the house to the sewer. This is a big job requiring the scheduling of an excavator as well. Everyone I dealt with at Elek was wonderful, each team that was here was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They gave my issue priority the entire time and because they were able to schedule the excavator the same week they received the job. Would highly recommend.

Paul & Tristen installed a Softpro water softener and a Watts hot water recirculating system. They were well prepared and did not make a mess. The price was reasonable. Their work was very professional. They were also very respectful and friendly.

An absolutely terrible experience. We had an emergency with drain overflow. Called and was told $99 to have someone come out and investigate, which was waived with service. Guy took 2+ hours to determine septic line was clogged, which he couldn't service, and to give us a quote for replacing well tank, installing a softener, etc. Continuous high pressure sales bs throughout.

We declined that $5000 estimate, and were presented a bill for $400 for the time he was here. Much of which was giving a quote for unrelated things. My partner balked at that, and he lowered the quote to $4200. We told him we would not be paying either, that it was absurd to bill for giving a quote, and paid the original $99. I can't imagine how many elderly people, or people easy to take advantage of these plumbers have ripped off with similar tactics.

Woke up on a Saturday to find the water heater leaking from the base. Called Elek they were able to dispatch Scott to come by same day. He was so quick with it and the cost was so reasonable, I figured I'd ask about water softener systems, having no experience with how they work, how much they cost, etc. He took the time to educate me and provided options. Agreeing to move forward, Scott came back next day and completed the install.

By Monday, we had hot, clean, and SOFT water! Home repairs ALWAYS stress me out, but the entire experience from start to finish was professional and everyone I interacted with was kind and courteous. Highly recommend Elek!

Purchased a home a few days ago and immediately found an issue with the toilet. In an attempt to simply change it out became an emergency. I called Elek and Gil was out within the hour. With all of this Covid19 business, Gil came prepared with gloves, shoe protection, mask etc. He fixed our issue, gave me tips on what to do going forward and remained professional throughout the entire process. Extremely dissatisfied with a non emergency job. Overcharged for a simple dishwasher installation and they did not complete the task. They refused to adjust the price when they determined that they could nor complete the job. I had to bring in another contractor to finish the job.

I called Elek at 6:00 pm, after business hours. By 6:15 I received a call back and they had a repair person on their way. Within the hour Scott arrived. It only took him minutes to find the problems. In less than an hour he had everything fixed. a cracked water pipe, a pressure gauge, and another loose piece. I could not be more pleased with the service I received. The price was fair for all the work that was done and for coming out late in the day. I would definitely recommend and will use them in the future!

David came out right away on a holiday weekend, which I wasn't expecting at all. I was told upfront I'd be paying an emergency surcharge, and because I needed my clogged kitchen sink fixed immediately, I accepted it. I had called around to other plumbers but no one picked up. David was already really personable on the phone and based on the other Yelp reviews, I decided to give Elek a chance.

He was prompt, efficient, clean, and explained everything he was doing. My sink is unclogged (and hopefully stays this way into eternity, plz!) and now I have peace of mind. Thanks David & Elek!

Our water heater alarm went off at 4:30 in the morning. We called Elek at 7am and Chuck was here by 7:30. New water heater installed and working by 10:30. Highly recommend Elek for any type of plumbing and in an emergency they are spot on.

The definition of professionalism This was probably the best experience I've ever had with a service related company. From my initial contact with the company, to the dispatch of the service technician, each person was well spoken, polite, knowledgeable and professional. The time from my initial call to the time the technician arrived was under 2 hours (2 days before Christmas!) I was kept informed as to the time the technician would arrive and informed of the work that needed to be done and how much it would cost.

The technician was obviously experienced and very knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and efficiently. The technician at my request, did more work than was originally requested and was eager to make sure I was satisfied with the work he did before he left. Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied, and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I can.

Service was professional and prompt. Much better than the last guy that didn't keep his promises on coming out to fix our water heater. I'll be sure to call Elek again in an emergency.

I cannot dish out enough positive praise for this local, family owned and run business. I had a sink emergency ( my large heirloom earrings went down the drain not only causing panic but flooding ) and they couldn't have been nicer or more efficient when I placed a call. The woman who answered was pleasant and felt sorry for my predicament. She told me she would send out a technician within 2 hours. 45 minutes later, Eddie appeared at my door with a smile and tool kit in hand.

I showed him to my powder room and within mere minutes my earrings were in hand and the sink was clear. I've spent hours of my life waiting for service companies to show " between 12-7 " only to be stood up or have them show at 6:55. I was blown away by how quickly they handled my situation. I can't recommend Elek enough and it also feels great to support smaller, local business!

These guys are the best! Maybe a little more expensive but well worth it for the peace of mind you will have when they are done!

We had an emergency plumbing issue late on a Saturday that needed immediate attention. The main sewer line was backing up into the basement. Not a good situation! Elek Plumbing was the only company that returned our call; we called nearly a dozen plumbers. They arrived 30 minutes after our call and were able to fix the issue in less than an hour. The plumber was courteous, neat and efficient. The total charge was very reasonable; actually less than I was expecting.

Well, they were supposed to be here between ten am and noon. Just arrived at 5:26pm. Never called to explain. Not feeling too positive toward this business right now.

We had a leaky toilet gushing water out to the basement when we flushed. I called three plumbers but Wm. Elek was the only one who not only returned my call but they came out the same day! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again! And the best thing? Their rates are SO affordable!

Not long ago we had a blocked sewer line, which was NOT a fun situation. Anyway, I had seen Elek's trucks around town many times and figured I'd give them a call. The office staff was incredibly friendly, and responded to my call promptly. A great guy named Bo showed up in practically no time at all to fix our problem. He was not only an amiable guy, but also was dressed neatly and treated our home with respect as he worked. Plus, he cleaned up after himself and it only took him about 1.5 hours to finish the job! On top of all that, we found Wm Elek Inc. reasonably priced and would definitely use them again. Bravo!
