We've used Jewell Mechanical for a couple of years on our projects and have been very happy with the work they do. Our A/C quit on one of the hottest days of the year and Matt came out within the day to come repair the issue. I would highly recommend Jewell for any of your HVAC or plumbing needs.

Quick, quality work, reasonably priced (for a Sunday morning repair)- have used Jewell for many years and will certainly continue to do so! Technician Tim was courteous, agreeable and did the repair in no time.

We signed up for annual service for our two HVAC units. Our service tech Josh Koehn was on time and a nice guy! He did a thorough job and didn't complain about having to climb up into our attic or wade through our cluttered garage. I placed a service call in the morning hours and within one hour I had a awesome polite service technician out to our company. His name was Hunter Gentry which done a great job at repairing our hvac unit. We were back up and running in no time, communicated with me at all steps of the job. Also Hunter is a great example of the company he works for.

Called Jewell for water heater services. I have hot water for about 5-10 minutes then turns freezing cold. Two or three different guys came to repair and all said different things until one decided to replace the elements in the water heater. There was no difference in the water heater, I still have cold water. I got a bill for $400 from them because they changed the elements, talked to a manager and I do still have to pay even though they didn't fix anything. Annoyed with the service.

Very happy with the service and pricing. The tech was very thorough, it seems that Jewell has a process that is above and beyond because the tech worked steadily for about 3 hours doing a standard maintenance on two units. The other folks were here and gone in 30 minutes, I'll definitely be using Jewell from now on.

Travis is the man! He's been servicing our HVAC for the past couple of years, and he always goes above and beyond. Very personable, professional, and does a great job of explaining the work he's doing. I feel like I can trust Travis, and know that he is doing quality work. We appreciate all he has done for us!

Josh Nollner was great to work with in planning and quoting installation of a Mitsubishi mini-split system for our sun room. Installation crew members Nate and Zack were right on time as scheduled and were wonderful in working out any concerns we had. Job completed efficiently and we are pleased with the work. And they broom cleaned up their work areas! Definitely would recommend this team!

Small plumbing emergency that was beyond my capabilities to fix. Called on a Sunday morning and within a few hours Dave B arrived and began working on the issue. Dave was really good about contacting me and giving me an idea of what time he would arrive. When he arrived he was very friendly and fixed the problem in just a few minutes. I don't leave reviews often. However, in this case it is warranted. On 12/23, late in the evening, I found that there was a large amount of water from my hot water heater that had leaked into the collection pan. This was a major issue as I was supposed to be visiting with family for the holidays. I had a very hard time getting a hold of someone. While I was able to get ahold of one place before Jewell, that place wasn't available until 12/24 and wanted to charge over $600 for the first hour to come out, with each additional hour being over $200 (which is outrageous even for a holiday).

I was very thankful when Scott from Jewell returned my call. He spent time trying to help me stabilize the issue (walking through trying to turn off the breaker and water supply to the heater etc.). Given the lateness, he was not able to come on 12/23 but did schedule for 7:30am the next morning. Scott texted me on 12/24 when he was on his way and was professional the entire time, even using tarps to keep the space clean.

Thanks to Scott, the breaker and water to the heater were turned off, the leaked water and the tank drained, and everything cleaned up, allowing me to still visit with family for the holidays. While I was charged a holiday rate, it was very reasonable and Scott was honest and upfront throughout the whole process. I wish more people conducted themselves in the same manner Scott did.

Recommend 100%! Our heat went out and they made sure we had our new system, complete with new ducts and vents, installed as soon as possible! Great team at Jewell--Jack diagnosed and explained our problem in detail, as well as the options we had to fix or replace, without any upselling pressure. They were very fast and responsive--after we decided to get a new unit, they were out the next day. Keith, Chad, and Jim were a great crew--they were in and out of the house all day doing the installation, and we barely noticed as we worked in the home office. Highly recommend!

Jewell mechanical has been providing GREAT care to our office for years. several of the employees now use Jewell Mechanical for AC and Plumbing in their homes and receive great care as well. I had bought an AC unit from them a while back. When they put the unit in they replaced my perfectly good thermostat with one of theirs. They said it was better plus came with a warranty. I liked my old one but told them to leave it. Recently, I my unit when out and I called them to repair it. They found that it was a faulty thermostat. Great because it was under warranty.

The cost of diagnostic was $89. But if I wanted them to replace the thermostat they were going to charge me $347 for the labor of the thermostat and them having to do they paperwork to get the warranty from the thermostat company. I ended up buying my own thermostat for $60 and installed it in under 2 min. This was ridiculous amount of money they were going to charge me.

Their warranty was actually going to cost me more money because I would have to pay for them to install it. Just sort of felt like they were price gauging! The technician was really nice but the company didn't seem customer oriented. Taking advantage of people in the heat!

I believe it's very important to give positive feedback when a great service is provided. One of my early on careers was in HVAC. So a few days ago I decided to do my own maintenance on one of my units at my office. I had no issues getting the unit apart and clean but then when it was time to reassemble let's just say I may of had a few Choice words for myself.

I called Jewell & the very pleasant Nickie answered & got me on the books immediately. She notified me the tech would call when on his way. Hunter called letting me know he was on his way. Showed up on time he was very polite, professional, stayed on task & completed the job in a timely manner. Big shout out to the entire team at Jewell Mechanic.

Our office HVAC system went down and we needed to get up and running quickly. Jewell was easy to schedule and have someone come out to see what was wrong on the same day. Unfortunately my unit was shot and we needed a new one. Brian was quick to help me work through the process of the quote and getting a new unit in. Fast forward a week for delivery of the unit and then they got it changed out in one day, which was no small feat having to get a crane to get it off the roof. I would highly recommend using them for any project big or small. Their communication was flawless and they went above and beyond to make the process go easy.

Self assessed I might have a main line blockage aroundsmidnight and within 12 hours my problem has been fixed! Brent came out first thing in the morning and was knowledgeable, informative, communicated clearly all my issues, had a great attitude and overall performed a very professional service! Expecting not to need further help, but would definitely use Jewel again!

First of all, I don't typically leave bad reviews on Yelp. But in this case, consumers be warned. If I could give this company zero or negative stars, I would. I had a Aprilaire humidifier installed a couple years back and they installed it incorrectly, causing the living rooms floors to buckle and had to replace. Jewell was good about the insurance claim and their insurance paid for it. But, we were out of a living room for almost two months.

Two weeks ago, I called them to replace the humidifier filter. Easy job. The tech who came out messed it up and spilled water on the board, shorting out the unit. He came back to fix THAT a week and a half later. On Christmas morning, we woke to our house having no heat since he had done something to disable the brand new HVAC unit we had installed by Lee Co two months prior. (The second time he left us with no heat.) Today was now the FIFTH visit by Jewell and thankfully the techs seemingly fixed everything that the other one broke. But, they left stains on our white wall, and a bent air return! Unbelievable.

There is no way I could keep my cool about this as I typically do. This company is a mess. Not only did they lose money by having their employees out here for so many hours, they caused an incredible amount of stress and frustration for both my family and I as well as their own employees. Nobody wins when this happens. And, oh yeah, ruined Christmas morning.

David from Jewell came out within about 2 hours from the time we called. Our HVAC had frozen up- and it's 92 degrees out. we had defrosted and got her running again, but we knew she needed a refrigerant recharge. David took care of the sealed system without hesitation, didn't try to add on charges and was gone within 1/2 hour. Watching the thermostat drop every 10 mins has been very satisfying.

No extra charge for the weekend, super fast service, professional and friendly- and the price was amazing. This is our second experience with Jewell and we will ask for David M. by name next time

Jewell Mechanical is the best. I was first introduced to them when my HVAC unit went out at my home a few years ago. They were awesome. Fast forward to now, I'm just as pleased with their plumbing services. Brandon, and Scott were both extremely professional and knowledgable. I felt at ease. All my questions were answered. I'm really pleased with Jewell Mechanical as a whole. They're professional, but have a nice small town charm to them.

They do great, solid work. And they stand by their work. Even the people that answer the calls on the front end are pleasing to talk to. I will recommend Jewell Mechanical to anyone that needs HVAC or Plumbing work. You won't be disappointed. Now, if they happen to get an electrical department, I know who I'd call for all my house needs! Keep up the great work!

We have trusted Jewell Mechanical with our HVAC needs since we purchased our property in 2007. We can always rely on honest, quality service when we call, and the staff treats us like family.

They left two bolts out of base where little concrete slab is. Took them two weeks to install 2 three inch bolts, which is minor. Then week later it wasn't cooling(brand new 4400 dollar unit). Week went by and they said all coolant ran out some how(brand new 4400 dollar unit)!

I have dealt with this company. You can do so at your own risk. I have nothing good to say about these people. This is from experience with the owner Jeff Jewell all the to the dispatcher. I ran into a wall of lies.

My furnace stopped working this cold weekend in Nashville and Jewell came to the rescue. Even on a holiday weekend, they were able to install a new 2 ton gas package unit. Josh and David were very helpful and went above and beyond.

These people are always wonderful. They go out of their way to make sure we are happy. The service is great. Today Josh came out and serviced my heat and went the extra mile to make sure the parts were under warrantee.

Blower motor went out last night and it got down to 18 degrees! We contacted Jewell first thing this morning and they came right out. Josh was very professional and had us back up and running in no time.

Jewell Mechanical has done a lot of work for our company from small jobs to complete 400,000 square foot warehouse jobs. I would recommend them to anyone. They treat each job as they were working on their own.

The service was above and beyond. Austin made it here in the Snow-magedon, and got us back up. He knew how to fix what was wrong, was very friendly yet professional, and the price was reasonable. What more can you ask from a company.

A friend of ours referred us to this company and I am very glad they did! I called today to notify that we needed an appointment to get our heater working (it has been out). Not only were they very friendly, but the technician (David) called me back within minutes to tell me he was on his way over. I received an appointment in the same day due to a cancellation (my lucky day--our heat has been out for the past 5 days or so). David was extremely professional and informative. Another chance of luck, our unit was still under warranty saving us around $800. I would definitely recommend this company and if needed, hopefully not, will use them again!
