Yohe Plumbing Heating and Air came to our house in Evans at the end of April due to the A/C not cooling. I (husband) was at our rental property working when the technician went to our house. The technician spoke with me on the phone and I described what was happening. While he was at our house, my wife arrived home. She let the dog out back and saw the technician working on the unit.
She went back inside. A few minutes later my wife was on the phone in our bedroom when there was a knock on the door (the BEDROOM door). She was startled. She opened the door and the YOHE A/C technician had apparently seen through the window that she had gone into the bedroom and came in on his own accord, knocked on the bedroom door and was sitting on a barstool just outside the door when she opened it.
He apparently realized he had made a mistake because he soon left. Neither of us have ever had that happen. I called Michael S Yohe; Title: President and left four messages for him. He was either at lunch, on the phone or not in the office each time. He never returned the call with the detailed message expressing real concern over the behavior of his employee.
We did receive a call on 6/21/22 from Brittany seeking to collect $200 for a part he supposedly replaced before he left. The unit wasn't repaired until we contacted another company. Very indifferent/concerning behavior from a company that enters customer's homes on a daily basis. Beware.

Mike Ram with YOHE, was ON TIME, assessed the problem and had the Toilet Flange replaced ASAP. Mike didn't Critique my attempt at fixing the problem and even complimented me on what I had already screwed up, (I'm an Electrician, not a Plumber). He cleaned as he went and didn't mind me watching & asking questions! Mike even set the New Toilet and caulked around it.
Price was VERY FAIR. I expected to pay 50% - 75% MORE (and wouldn't have Batted An Eye)! I'm in North Augusta SC, but you have to call the Augusta GA Number, to get Service in NA/SC (not the Aiken #).

I desperately needed assistance with a clogged septic issue. Yohe Plumbing was the only plumbing company who answered. They were so professional and Sean, who came out, was just so professional and took care of the issue quickly. I would surely recommend Yohe in a time of crisis. Service: Drain cleaning

Would highly recommend this company. They came out the very next day after I called and I explained to them the work that needed to be done and they didn't nickle and dime me - they were professional and I thought fairly priced for a plumbing company. Office staff very friendly as well. Work was done in a few hours. My only complaint if i had one was that they left the old pipes under the home but I just threw it in my trash can since my service was being picked up the next day. Its nearly 100 degrees outside so i think that was an honest mistake. Thanks YOhe! Will definitely call y'all for future plumbing needs.

Yohe was very punctual in repairing my plumbing issue. I am however very disappointed with the way Yohe handle my service charges. So much so, I will not recommend their business. I was asked to pay Yohe $790 by the technician over the phone without an invoice. Upon asking for an invoice he explained Yohe doesn't give you one until you pay. I told him I would like to see the breakdown of charges.
After debate, he had the office call me and send me a invoice. The invoice charged me for 5 hours of labor at the rate if $120 then $190 for materials (4ft PVC pipe). I have a ring video and saw the plumbers were at my house for less than three hours. When I called Yohe out on this they clearly made up a story, to get as close to $790 as possible.
Their unprofessional response: sorry for my delay. I pulled tracking on the plumbers vehicle. They arrived 9:38 and left 12:46. That agve b=me a little over 3 hours. The plumber I guess rounded off but I have adjusted as our charges. Sewer issues are 130.00 per hour and he charged standard rate of 120.00 5 times to accommodate the difference in hourly labor (to make his math add up =/ was his answer to me). 2 hours into job they had to have the cast iron delivered.
I had to get supervisor to bring to them the piping, as we could not leave we were knee deep at this time. He in turn ended up needing to stay to get the job done so the crews could move on to their next scheduled job, I believe I gave them the impression I thought issue at hand may be a venting issue that would not take more than a coupe of hours.
The supervisor had to stay to the last hour and half to help complete the job. I have revised the invoice please let me know if you have any questions or if you feel this is not correct 2 hours at 130.00 for the first tech 190.00 in material 1.5 hours at 95.00 for super to pick up and deliver cast iron piping and help complete with the last 1.5 hours with original crew.
I am sorry this is clear as mud but you are more than welcome to let me know if you have any questions. I paid the new amount of $787.50 to avoid the work performed being taken apart. Will not be using Yohe again until they better define their charges.

Best service ever! Oh my goodness these guys are fantastic! My property manager called them for me and they got me in SAME DAY! Not only that, but they had a cancellation and my A/C was fixed in less than 2 hours of calling for an appointment. The woman on the phone was so sweet and seemed like she was happy to assist. The guy - I feel bad for not catching his name - came early and was in and out in literally 10 minutes.
He was super professional, got right to work, and explained it to me very thoroughly in layman's terms. I couldn't be happier with their service! Hopefully I won't need them again, but if I do, I know I'm in good hands.

I hired Yohe to tighten the connection of a dripping pipe in the crawl space of my home at 112 Holiday Drive. By the time I went around to check on the technician (which was all of 5 minutes) - he was crouched down on the side of the house smoking a cigarette, claiming that the job was finished. Well fast forward to July 24, 2020 - Horne's Pest Control Service (THANK YOU Horne's Pest Control Service!) came to the same home to perform a termite inspection and discovered to pipe in the crawl space is still leaking water but worse. Yohe' technician never did the job I was handsomely charged for but made the problem worst. PLEASE DON'T USE YOHE Plumbing! Buyer Be Ware. Arlean Edwards

If you are reading this, then you're one of the lucky ones! I will try to condense this narrative.was without air conditioning for 22 days due to a culmination of a bad electrical block fuse, property management company and YOHE. I was supposed (air quotations) to get a call from YOHE Plumbing and Air before Memorial Day weekend to set a date and time for my AC repair, this did not happen until the following week and even then I just so happen to check my e-mail the following week and I see an e-mail from Jackie. Remember, I was supposed to receive a call!
I called the office twice no answer and left voicemail messages and followed up with a reply e-mail. Hey, guess what.after sending said e-mail I received a reply not even 5 minutes later, would have chalked this up to coincidence but I look at the e-mail traffic between my property management company and YOHE which makes it seem like I am waiting until the last minute to try and schedule this repair. Repairmen come out as scheduled and start to work on disassembling evaporator and fan. Done, but now we have to wait until supervisor arrives because 1.
The repairmen could not get the old parts down from the attic and 2. the outside unit is with the supervisor because it could not fit in the normal work van. This was supposed to be a 20 minute wait but that turned into a couple of hours. Supervisor arrives and I start hearing power tools cutting and grinding noises so I go to investigate and the trim is being taken off the attic crawlspace and the opening is being cut!
Now this might be necessary, but no one informed me of the need for the procedure before beginning without my knowledge. Many hours past, I hear more voices in my house whom I have not been introduced too. Finally, voices seemed to drift off so I go investigate and a repairmen appears to be connecting the outside unit and the Supervisor is standing looking at said Repairmen.
I go back into the house and wait for them to let me know the job is complete. YEP, that did not happen! I go outside no Supervisor, no repairmen and no company van, no hey Sir, we are finished, let me check your A/C to verify it is working properly. I turn on the air and at least it works. I wait until it cools down in the attic to check their work, because if they just bolted after the job what other corners were cut.
From the pictures, you get an idea of my inspection.not only were these sugary sodas left in the hot attic, the repairman left his rechargeable battery packs plugged into the garage outlets (which he had to come back the next day) to retrieve. The wiring was not secured neat, was not re-taped back to original location, debris left in the attic, attic ladder not properly installed back to original location and specifications, attic safety bindings not secured properly, AC outside unit basepad overlapping ground by 5 inches, and major wire housing to outside fuse box not secured correctly.
I take it the other voice I heard was someone to weld the fitting on the gas valve, but after this I would definitely recommend a county official inspection for safety! Granted the air conditioner works thus the 2 stars, but I would definitely search and perform my due diligence for a good AC repair company other than YOHE Plumbing and Air Conditioning. Just my two cents!

If I could give zero stars I would. Let me start by saying this company did the plumbing and the heating and air in my house when it was built in 2012. I've had problems with the heating and air off and on since we moved in in 2013. Yohe would come out and hem and haw around, tinker here, tinker there and on a couple of occasions added refrigerant.
They should have looked for the leak but never did. I hired a different company last year, Veteran's Heating and Air, which I highly recommend, and they found the leak and fixed it. Today, Veteran's came back out to service my upstairs unit. They found that Yohe hooked up a 3 ton unit to a 2 ton handler! The unit over worked the handler and now it is totally messed up. Granted, the Columbia County inspector should have caught the mistake upon completion of the intial installation, so I hold them responsible as well. Don't use this company! Of all the times they came out after I first moved in, they should have noticed the problem and fixed it.

We called YOHE plumbing because we are having a problem with 2 rooms in our home getting adequate AC. The technician came to our home and did a diagnostic service. He told us that we need some duct work done and the supervisor needs to come to our home to give us an estimate. We were charged $95.00 for this service call. We had to contact the office and was told by a secretary that it would cost $6500 to do the work sight unseen by the supervisor.
The Supervisor is too busy to come to our home to see what is involved. This is completely unacceptable to us. My husband called the office to see when the Supervisor could come to our home and the secretary said that my husband has to call him, she has no idea what is going on. My husband wa Shawn Johnson from Yohe's phone number to call. Shawn said that he is declining to do the work because he has 30 new homes that are being built.
His tone was nasty. Why would YOHE take $95.00 from us to do a diagnostic appointment and not do the work? This is terrible customer service. If you can't do the work than don't do the diagnostic appointment. Bad customer service. Stay far away from this company! I just want to say that the technician that did the diagnostic testing was very nice.
Maybe he should give some lessons to Shawn. Update to this review. I was recently refunded $95.00 and want to thank Bridget and Jackie for being so nice and understanding. Thank You YoHe for the refund.

Inept technicians and customer service is well below standard. Technician came to my house to check garbage disposal that wasn't functioning. He claimed it was repaired, then left. I called that it wasn't fixed. He came back the second time, then finally replaced the disposal but still charged me for his first visit. After several calls to customer service, I discussed with Bridgette and Brittany.
Both couldn't explain the reason for the charge. Managers resolve issues and don't create them. Both alleged to be managers but couldn't explain the reason for being charged on the first trip despite their technician ineptitude.

My work has used these guys and gals for a few months now and we are super happy with the work. They are honest and fair, along with prompt. Being I am a property manager having these guys in my back pocket to call if I needed to is an awesome feeling. They have awesome AC repair guys and plumbers which we have used both. For general maintenance and major plumbing repair.

I caution you in using this company with the following facts: 4 separate appointments to install a gas line - to be done in one day by estimate, technician crew leaving for lunch without any communication they were leaving my property and not coming back, connection inside the fire box too long and posed a danger, late by 1 1/2 hr twice for 2 of these appointments, different conflicting information was given to me on what was code/safe/correct on the fireplace, communication breakdowns with scheduler/crew managers, no owner/boss in charge of this company - crew managers run everything.
The main problem - this is a huge company without one person in charge and things regularly fell off the rails with no accountability. My advice - find another company which has someone where the buck stops who believes in customer service and the customer is #1.
