I've used Stewart's several times over the years. They are quick, responsible, and always willing to offer options where it's possible. For instance, I had all the duct work replaced for better efficiency (suggested by an energy audit from KU.) Stewart's made an assessment, suggested maybe I not replace--but if I was going to, to wait until they had a lull in their schedule, so pricing would be significantly less. I've used them for almost 20 years.

In that time they've replaced our gas furnace, fixed our AC (and suggested we keep it until it REALLY broke--it was really old but well built), replaced all duct work. and in the midst of the pandemic rebuilt the motor on that old AC to keep it running until the order for a new one came through. I can't sing their praises enough. They're my "Yeah, I got a guy."

The local "Big-Box" HVAC company (let's call them Kobe) came out to diagnose a furnace issue, quoted me $6,600 for replacement, and gave me the old scare-sale tactics. So, I called one of the "free second opinion" HVAC companies, who didn't bother diagnosing the problem, and just quoted me $4,600 for the same system quoted by "Kobe." I decided to give it one more try, so I called Stewart.

They sent a friendly and knowledgeable tech out who did some testing and diagnosis, and recommended replacing a blower motor-- for just $600, rather than $4,600 or $6,600. When I told him what the other companies had quoted, he said, "They work on commission. I don't. Your furnace is fine, there's no need to replace it." Stewart has earned my business for life! When it is eventually time to replace this old furnace, I know who I'll be calling.

Stewart's came for the first time. They were highly recommended by friends and I can see why. Not only did they maintain my furnace they noticed that a pipe was leaking carbon monoxide. No experience with HVAC in Nicholasville before. Tried Stewarts HVAC and was very impressed. Call center staff were friendly and had a repair unit to my daughter's home in less than 2 hours. Freddie ( tech) was amazing! Diagnosed the issue quickly, provided detailed info on needed repairs, and finished the job promptly. Cost of repairs was reasonable too. I don't usually leave reviews, but this service experience was outstanding.

My furnace is possessed.something has gone wrong with it every year. Last year I tried Stewart's for the first time. They replaced some things, and I was hopeful that it was fixed once and for all. But this year, it was back to it's old tricks. Freddy from Stewart's came out this time, troubleshooted, and figured out what may have been the underlying problem the whole time.

He bypassed the problem switches and offered to let it run for a week to prove it would work, while I decided if I wanted to replace with a new furnace or repair. It worked all week so I decided to repair one more time. I'm hopeful this is the final fix, because if it messes up again I'm going to put my foot through it lol. Stewart's prices are reasonable, they have always arrived expeditiously and on time, and wore a mask.

They won't try to sell you a furnace you don't need, and really work with you to give you all the best options. The office staff and everyone I've spoken with have been super nice and helpful. Thanks for taking the time to diagnose my possessed furnace!

I had several companies 6 come out to give bid on a installing a new system, because mine quit working and I was under the impression I needed a new system. Each company came out spent about 15 minutes and gave me a quote, ranging anywhere from $5500 to 7500 depending on which company it was. Some were more pushy than others. Well when streets came out.

They looked at it for an extended period of time and all that was wrong with my system was it needed a part and it had burnt wires and and huge wasp nest. Granted this ismn old system and will need it replaced. These guys were honest and did not try to take advantage of already terrible situation. I highly recommend them. I will go to them to get my system in the future.

My family and I have used Stewart for decades and have always been 100% satisfied. Recently our gas heat unit (5 years old) began to act old and cranky, not heating regularly. Our phone call was treated kindly and efficiently. Stewart came to our rescue. Our technicians were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They figured out the problem-which was rare, especially for a "young" unit. Stewart is fair and honest, wanting the best for their customers. They do not cut corners, rush, or give up. I will always recommend Stewart.

Furnace heating issue. Diagnosed and fixed the issue less than an hour. Took the time to explain what they fixed. Freddy did a great job and I would highly recommend Stewart AC & Heating.

I called on a Saturday I was given the emergency number. I called the repair man. Sammy answered he was here within an hour. The air and heating unit was fixed quickly. I'd used the same hvac place for about 30 years, they were local and I trusted them, then they got bought out by one of those conglomerates and they came to do service, and told me I needed a new system - about $10K. This was on a freezing weekend and the pressured me to make a decision on the spot. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and my son had used Stewart's so I gave them a call.

They came after hours, fixed the problem, for free, said they'd come back and do a thorough job the following week, and did so, so that we had heat over the weekend. Since then, I do the annual maintenance with them, and every time they come, they give us the best service, explain what they do, and they have kept this system going for 2 years without any issues.

They saved us buying a new system for $10K and they are very responsive, very efficient and oh by the way, they came this time, with masks, and were very safe and made me feel ok with them coming in my house during the virus. I highly recommend them.

We have had Stewart HVAC for our maintenance plan for 15 years now. Freddie is our regular technician.he comes in, does his job, and leaves with a smile. When we have a problem, he fixes it at a reasonable rate in a timely manner. There are a lot of crooks out there, but Stewart and Freddie are the best they get!

We love Stewart! They give honest, affordable service and always explain what they're doing. Freddie has worked with us a number of times and is very knowledgeable, friendly, and clear about all the ins and outs of maintenance and repair. They've often found straightforward, inexpensive fixes to problems we worried would cost hundreds of dollars, and when we did need a system replaced their quote came in with a better warranty and for less than half the cost of some other companies in town.

They are our favorite home service provider in the area, and while we never want to have to call them, we always trust that when we have to, they'll find us the best solution to our problems.

Motherboard on our HVAC system went out today and after we called for a diagnostic service visit we were expecting them to come on Monday but less than 20 minutes later dispatch called and said they could be here today and 20 minutes later they were on their way! They reviewed, explained everything, left to get a part and were back in less than 15. minutes.

System is now back online and we have heat! This is not the first time they have provided us with excellent service and I will use them every time. What do I love about Stewart? -always efficient, polite, reasonably priced and they have never treated me (as a woman) as if I didn't have a clue about HVAC! Shout out to Drew and Tyler for excellent service.

Stewart's installed my air conditioners 7 years ago and today my upstairs unit stopped working. I called in and their receptionist was super helpful and was able to intercept a crew returning from a call to come to my house and check out the system. Within 10 minutes of getting off the phone their polite and skilled servicemen were working on my air conditioner.

It was a faulty capacitor which was covered by the warranty so I only paid the $60 service fee. I recognize it was just dumb luck the service crew were driving through my area but it was quick thinking by their receptionist (Joy is her name I believe) that allowed for such rapid and awesome service. They have a very well coordinated team there.

Got up Fri. Morning and discovered my heat pump a.c. wasn't working. Called Stewart's A.C. and Ms. Jay said she would send someone right out. Technician (Freddie) arrived within 30 min. around 8:30 and had me back in business in about 30 minutes. The problem was a capacitor and Freddie had one on his truck! Can't say enough good things about Ms. Jay and Freddie! I highly recommend Stewart's.

Sent out a new technician who replaced every major part on the furnace and the problem still existed, after calling in and getting assistance replaced a $20 limit switch issue resolved. I was quoted $350 final bill ended up $570. If you want screwed give em a call. I will never do business with this company again. PS I have used your company for years, wrote a letter of dissatisfaction and included it with my overpayment, but never heard back. Great way to run a business.

I called for an appointment when our air went out today. They were all booked, but after calling around to find out everyone else was booked too I called the number for an emergency call. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly, the technician arrived very quickly, and everything was repaired for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

We have been with Stuart Heating for over a year now on their maintenance plan. We have been pleased with their service, and their reminders to get stuff done. I called a few weeks ago about a leak we have experienced before. I was told there would not be a fee for someone to come check it out. After looking at our leak, we determined that we wanted to try super gluing it one more time to see if it might help, rather than replace a very expensive pipe.

I was more than a little disappointed when we were charged the $59 service fee for what turned out to be something we could have glued ourselves. Had I known they would charge me that much for taking 10 minutes to glue it, we would have done it ourselves (I would have appreciated him telling me that by glueing it, he'd need to charge us the service fee). It's little things like this that win or lose business. And what could have been another glowing recommendation, turned me a bit sour.

I can't give enough praise for Stewart AC & Heating. I had called a few other companies prior to getting in touch with Stewart - they either couldn't get to me for a week or never even returned my calls. As soon as I spoke with this company they had someone to my house that afternoon. They were courteous, prompt, and honest about what the best option was for my situation - replacing my AC.

They returned the next morning - at the time they promised. Again, the people who came to my house were courteous, helpful, and did good work. They were finished ahead of schedule. Also - the people that work in the office are wonderful. Honest, good company.

I am very pleased with the service I received from Stewart Air Conditioning today. On a 90+ day, my air conditioning decided to go out. I called around 11 am and was offered an appointment at 1pm. By 2pm, Drew had my air conditioning fixed and running again! I will definitely call Stewart again.

I needed to find a new HVAC company. The tech they initially sent out thought we needed a new circuit board. They sent a different tech out to install it but he said he wanted to be certain that was actually the problem before he put it in. It turned out to be a problem with the thermostat. I am very happy with the service we received from Stewart. We will be using them going forward.

THIS IS THE COMPANY YOU NEED TO CALL! Don't call anybody else! My a/c unit went out and I called a *different* company first but decided instead to call Stewart. Right from the start, the office staff on the phone were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and professional. When I met the technician at my house he, too, was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He showed me the part he replaced and discussed any possible preventative maintenance I could do. My unit works great now! I cannot recommend Stewart highly enough!

I was super impressed by this company. BThe technician came out the very next day, (when other companies made me wait over a week with no AC) He diagnose added a little extra freon, contradicted the other company in their claim that I needed to replace a very expensive part. And the issue was resolved within 20 minutes! In an age where honesty is a rarity, and customer service is nonexistent-- I greatly appreciate their honesty, because the prior company said that I needed to replace a part that was going to cost me $3000!

The tech could've easily continued the lie and cheated me out of 3K, he generously took the time to explain how the system works and why there was no need to replace a coil. I would recommend this business to everybody!

Great service and no complaints. Had them do a normal furnace maintenance. Price was good, got serviced the same day as we called them, and they didn't try to push extras or upsell us on anything. Only thing even close to that was they pointed out our furnace was 22 years old and the average life of a furnace was around 20, but that ours was running fine so no need to worry for now. Technicians were friendly and fast. Will use again.

We woke up this morning to a house that was 44 degrees. Called around and everybody was booked up, but Stewart was able to get here about an hour after I called. Turned out to be a simple fix, but Freddie was sure to take the time to explain everything to me as he was going along.

Avoid! My furnace went out and I called them for service. They never called me back! Don't use a company you can't trust to call you back if your heat or air is out. I called Comfort Heating and Air and they deserve their 5 star service.

Whenever we have a problem with our furnace and heatpump, they really work to solve the issue. They're always on time (unlike a lot of other businesses) and are friendly and just simply dependable. Other companies should take note from them.

First, ignore the one-star review below.that's for a North Carolina location, not Lexington, KY! These guys are top notch. Great prices, wonderful call staff, and very honest and kind technicians. See my review for Comfort Heating and Air to see what my A/C issues were and why I sought out another A/C company. I ended up settling on Stewart A/C and could not be more pleased. Prices were much MUCH better than the other place and the technician (Tom) was a nice, honest guy and didn't try to push any product or service on me.

He also gave me some good pointers to help out with the day to day operation of our system. With so many thieves out there taking advantage of the desperate costumer who's A/C goes out on them in the summer, it's a breath of fresh air to find such a great go-to company. We will be using Stewart Heating and Air exclusively from here on out. A+ service and prices, can't beat it.

I'll be brief. My mother is elderly on a fixed income and I found out her furnace had stopped working a few weeks ago. She called one of the bigger companies in town and they came out, looked and told her it would be 2K because the furnace was bad and would need to be replaced.

I bought a new Amana unit from Stewart's a little over a year ago. It was time. They did a good job of installing and did so in a timely fashion. However, it quit working recently, on the Saturday of the July 4th weekend, when no one is usually around.

I've dealt with Stewart's for approx. 19 yrs. and always got excellent service. I just had a new furnace and a/c unit installed. They were very professional, clean, and reasonably priced. Thank God for companies like Stewart's.
