A very professional and curtious crew installed a Ruud unit at my house, and did everything possible to ensure my satisfaction with it including wearing booties in my house to insure they didn't even track sorry I'm my house while they where making trips back and forth to and from my indoor unit to the outdoor unit. Am very impressed from The office personnel to the install crew! 2 thumbs up.

These guys were contracted out by my property management company to come fix my broken AC unit. The first day, he shows up, barely says anything, walks in my house turns on the ac. Then asks me how to get to the back yard. I told him going around the building to the back would be easiest. He is back there maybe 5-10 mins and comes back to the front of the house where I have the front door open because it is almost 90 degrees downstairs and about 10 degrees warmer upstairs.
He tells me he needs to grab a part. He has the part just not on his person. Tells me he will be back at 0900. I wonder in my head why can't he just grab the part and come back but I accept this and tell him I will see him in the morning. 0900 rolls around, nothing. I'm groggy because it's like 90 degrees on my bedroom and I can't sleep, and look at the time but just figure he is running a little late.
It is now noon, and he still hasn't shown. I call him and leave a voicemail. No reply. I text the guy that does our maintenance and he says he will reach out. He gets a hold of him and tells him he will be here between 1400 and 1600. 1554 and he still isn't here. I write a strongly but fair worded text to the maintenance man in regards to the situation. Je informs me that the guy is on his way. 1615 approx I see homeboy roll past the house and part 3-4 doors down.
I see him because my door is wide open because again, IT IS SO FREAKING HOT! He sends someone out from the van, they meander somewhere behind the building and leave. I check the compressor.still isnt working. I again message maintenance and they inform me he went to get a part and he would be back. ISN'T THIS WHY I DIDN'T HAVE AC LAST NIGHT?! He stated the night before he knew what part he needed and he just needed to retrieve it.
So what, he just didn't bring it with him. It is now 1710 and he is leaving my townhouse. Never came to the door to tell me he was here, didn't come to the door to tell me it was done, just dipped out. If you want timely reliable work work done on your AC I would say you have a better chance at completing HVAC classes and fixing it yourself.
