Technicians are professional. But today I was told that everything was taken care of at no cost due to my unit and ALL COMPONENTS WITHIN ( make sure you read that service management) were under warranty and there was no charge. I get a call later today saying I'm being charged close to $400. I was hit with a service fee which I have never had before.
They said the part was under warranty, but I I didn't pay for labor warranty. This is absolute bulls***. On my receipt it shows I paid for the part. They said nobody changes warranty parts out for free. Sorry but that's a lie. Unless they start working with someone who's been a customer for almost 5 years, I'll ve going elsewhere.

The HATRED I feel for this company is like none I've ever experienced for a business and I feel people need to know their marketing strategy; best described as shady and low. I was attempting to install a NEST thermostat in my home that normally is a DIY project, my system turned out to be more complicated and NEST said I needed someone to install.
I called and they would not give me a price quote over the phone and needed to come out to "survey the situation". Long story short they want to charge me $450 for the install OR I could sign up for their yearly "club" membership for a lower cost, but then pay the monthly cost for the membership that would end up totaling the same absurd amount. I gave in because I didnt want to ruin my system attempting the install myself.
The hilarious part is you cant cancel the yearly membership early or they will charge you the amount you saved. And even BETTER is the NEST install took them 30min.$450 for 30 min. I will never ever use this company again and will specifically go out of my way to talk anyone I know from using them either. SUMMARY: bully shady marketing strategy, subpar surface.

SCAM ALERT. A very nice tech came to check my HVAC system (a $90 charge). He told me I needed a new capacitor on my condenser unit and that the price was $360. I assumed they were a fair business and that was a fair price. Wow, was I wrong. It took him about 3 minutes to install it. Loosened a single screw and plugged the wires in. After he left, I googled the capacitor he installed and found the exact same unit online for EIGHT DOLLARS.
I called them back immediately and asked them to come remove the part and refund my money. A smarmy man on the phone told me he couldn't do that because now the product was "used." Listen, I'm not against a company making money on their service and products. But a 4,500% markup? On a piece that takes three minutes to install? That is beyond outrageous. It is indefensible, and it is unethical. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

Technicians are sales people. They must be on commission. They installed a new system and ductwork 6 years ago. The came every 6 mos to check system. Every time they want to do something expensive. This time they wanted $900 to clean AC and clean ductwork. I gave them the boot after using them over 20 years.

We purchased a house Fayette serviced for years. The previous owners were on the cozy comfy club. This means they go to the house change the AC filter. And these owners had yearly maintenance. Fast-forward to new owners, us. AC duct work completely disconnected/ ajar= attic flies, wasps, lady/stink bugs for the last 6 months coming out of vents. When I asked owner they said they didn't know why.
I can tell you why. For a problem that was an issue for years, and this company in use for years on this house. It is the cause of a few reasons. 1. An accident by company employee or owner and the employees did not correct or notify owners as this disconnect of duct work was at the door opening to attic. 2. Employee didn't like owner damaged duct work on purpose, Fayette still didn't see for years for maintenance if they had other employees show up.
The previous owners were old, and could not make it to attic to check for these things. Fast forward today. No more bugs because system is closed as we repaired it. Why am I leaving this review? I call them today to ask about question, and when I asked a question for shut off they say they need to schedule an apt. When I say I don't need a service call but a quick question.the woman hangs up on me.
She had my number and name. No call back. To me this is a reflection on the employees professionalism, which also points back to the damage/bug situation going on from the previous owners that would have been easily resolved and discovered with Thier cozy comfy club joke.

Let me give a brief history of my experience with Fayette Heating and Air. We purchased a new Lennox unit from them in summer of 2019 ($10k+). Unit stopped working that same winter and never was truly "fixed" until late July 2021 and by "fixed" I mean we didn't have to call them within 3 months. I think they have been to house over 14 times to fix unit.
So now about 9 months later after last service.almost made it a year! unit stops working tonight. We paid extra to be "members" of Comfy Club. So I call them tonight lady says they will have tech out between 8 -12 am. No problem, tech calls I explain to him the issue and he says will be there within an hour. So he pulls ups gets out of truck and starts off by telling me that if it a drain switch, because of a clogged line it is not covered.
I told him we were members of Comfy Club and he said it didn't matter. I them explained that the unit has been worked on for roughly 2 years and never was right and here we are again. We then went under house (tall crawl space) and he pulled the drain switch and dumped the little cup and said that was issue and he would have to charge me. I told him that was installed by Fayette Heating and Air, he said the drain also had water standing in it.which was true, because it was a drain trap so of course it had water in it.
I again said that was installed by Fayette, except for the rest of the line going outside, which for some reason they chose not to replace when they installed it. He again stated that he would have to charge me tonight and I told him to bill me, he said he had to take payment tonight, I told him he would be camping in my driveway because I was not paying him tonight.
He mentioned that we were never charged before, because unit warranty was only a year. Dunno on that one, pretty sure we bought extended anyways, but not 100% without checking paperwork, i seem to remember a 10 year warranty. He then left. This total event occurred less than 10 minutes. After thinking about it, my Air handler is in a tall crawl and the vents are open in warm weather. Kentucky gets very humid and past few days have been humid.
I took a soda down there with me and the can was soaked with condensation in minutes.so a cool Air handler would generate quite a bit more condensation, which would fill up the little drain cup anyways and strange that he mentioned that immediately after exiting his truck.seems a little scammish to me. So basically after this long review I would not recommend ever using this company and/or buying their Comfy Club package, not what it was promised to be especially since the unit has only been problem free for only 9 months in a row since 2019.

I rarely do reviews but I have to share a bad experience with a company to hopefully spare someone else. I can NOT recommend Fayette Heating & Air. This company is about sales not service. We were told we, at a minimum, needed 4k worth of work on our existing AC unit to get it working again and that we would be better served spending closer to 10k for a complete replacement.
We were pressured to schedule something right then (as they happened to have a unit that could be installed immediately). We wanted to take time to think on it with it being late in the day and the cost being so expensive. We were then texted 3 times and a Voicemail was left within a matter of 3 hours the very next morning all starting at 8:45am. All communication was prompting us to schedule the replacement right away.
There was even a new pricing they said had just opened up to us. It felt like very much like dealing with a quintessential "used car" salesmen. It was awful! We had Bryant Heating and Air come out for a *free* 2nd opinion and come to find out we needed a new filter and a new part that set us back only $290. total. Our AC works perfectly now! PERFECTLY!
I called Fayette Heating & Air back to complain. I was also frustrated to have paid $70 for their "service call" where no work was actually done and we were given what appears to be an untrue diagnosis. I was transferred to a department that handles complaints (they obviously need a whole department to handle complaints) and they were very well-versed in how to deny that any wrong doing happened.
They said that they stand by their diagnosis and were very slick in saying that even Bryant must have agreed with their diagnostic since a part did end up getting replaced. Never mentioning the whopping difference of a 4k price tag with them vs one for under $300 with Bryant (a highly reputable company). Seems criminal to me! The tech at Bryant also noted that even though we asked for a diagnostic write up, we were given a sales quote (likely to not have to be held accountable for wrong info given) instead.
Please save yourself from a high pressure and sales forward company (who must work on commission) and do business with a company that is in business to serve their customers with honest and skilled tradespeople. The last thing you need are slick sales people preying upon you in your time of crisis.

I would definitely consider trying another company, went with them on a new furnace and A/C unit and already have a problem after 2 years. I do understand that things go wrong but they are more interested in pushing their comfy club service then backing products they are selling which leads me to believe that they know that their product is garbage.
I think $400 to replace a $30 capacitor in 30 minutes is a little outrageous and supposedly I wasn't charged for the capacitor. I called a couple other companies and they would have charged half with the capacitor so take that into consideration when considering this company!

They charge $12.95 per month, for an inspection every six months and supposedly a 20% discount on repair and parts. NOT! For a new system it's maybe a 5% to 10% discount. MAYBE! Came for my 6 month checkup in April of 2022. Less than 30 days ago! Told me my system was old, and it needs to be replaced! Freon was low, motor was leaking oil, capacitor was bad, and I need a new system.
Like $8000 to $9000! Later found out that their repair techs are actually sales people, and get commission for what they sell. So I got not one but TWO second opinions. Found out that what the Fayette Heat & Air person told me was BS! None of it was true! It was because I had forgot to change the filter! Obviously the tech from Fayette didn't know that. Really?
More likely chose not to tell me so I would buy a new system and the tech/salesperson would get a commission! I would not refer my worst enemy to Fayette Heating and Air! They are a bunch of self serving liars and thieves! You've been warned.

Zero stars. Almost $3000 after service call and then repair work, still nothing worked properly on my heating system. Unnecessary work done, damage done, and they want to be paid for that work. Workman were nice call center and management are terrible. I've been calling for over a month and cannot get anyone on the line except "customer service", which is anything but that.

I've been a comfy club member since 2017 and was highly impressed with the tech that came out twice a year to start. Two years ago I started asking myself the question do I need everything they are recommending? The reason I asked this is the price of maintenance and cost of what they were recommending was increasing. The other thing that bothered me was they gave large discounts if you elected to fix it that day.
I've been around long enough to know nothing is free and I'm happy to pay, but when they say it costs $3,000 but if you do it today it will only be $2,000 something isn't right. I choose to delay everything. A customer service rep Sarah reaches out to ask how it went. I told her the truth. She told me I didn't have to have anything done, and that the techs make money on the the services they sell, I was flabbergasted.
I told her I want to know what I need to have done and paying techs on the more they sell the more they make is a terrible system. How do I know if my HVAC needs the $3,000 of services or they tech just wants to make some extra money? I won't be using them again.

Where do I begin. We are (were now) comfy club members for the sole purpose of their "priority" service calls. Our heat went out Sunday morning so we called them. The unit is completely under warranty. A tech arrived at 5pm and said it was a fuse, so he installed it and it still didn't light. Blew out the ignitor and motherboard trying to fix it. Came back Monday morning with a new ignitor and that didn't work so "overnighted" a motherboard. NO PROACTIVE response from FHA on Tuesday as to why the part wasn't in - finally heard back and scheduled for Wed 10-12. Tech came at 3:30, installed part and STILL couldn't get it. Was told gas valve being overnighted. Called today (thursday) to find out it wouldn't be in until Monday.
The only heat source in our house is a gas inset fireplace running non stop and temps in house never over 60. NO COMMUNICATION unless I called them. Was told I was "only" being charged $527 for the motherboard they blew and conveniently couldn't find anywhere in lexington and had to order. I called the techs who installed the unit 7 years ago and they were out with the part within 30 minutes, with the parts that were "not available anywhere in Lexington". Tech confirmed that the supply house had no less than 17 motherboards in stock and no reason to order.
Heat on within another 15. AT A THIRD the cost of Fayette. If you want a price gouging part swapper who will lie to your face and not fix your heating, by all means call Fayette Heating. If you want your heat fixed right, call someone else.

What a joke, they show up, and dont clean or do anything. They "inspect" and then try and sell you a $1,034.10 furnace filter. I have 3 furnaces. But, they say this will make the furnaces last longer. And the filters have to be replaced every year. So, thats $3k per year for next 20 years, will cost $60,000. I could buy new furnaces for that price, so what exactly am i saving. LMAO

Had I looked at these reviews, I would never have called Fayette Heating and Air. My story is similar to some of these comments. Upon a heat failure, I called Fayette. The tech came out, checked the system and ordered a control board for $900. After he and his assistant installed the control board, two weeks later, he and his assistant found two more issues that would require a new heat pump.
The Trane system was actually under warranty, which was voided by the tech tinkering with the outdoor system. I stupidly signed up for the "Comfi Club." Rather than fight with Fayette, I will pay the Comfi Club, but no representative from Fayette Heating and Air will ever set foot on my property.

Noticed that my furnace wasn't sending power to my thermostat so I scheduled an appointment with Fayette heating and air. They were prompt in showing up quickly, but that's the only useful thing they did. I was told the transformer was bad and not sending power to the thermostat, I asked if that is the root cause with an answer of "maybe". He then showed me the price to fix it, over $500 for a transformer that costs ~$20.
Lovely how they know the price but not the actual problem. I realize part of the cost comes from expertise, but they should really be more transparent and honest with their pricing. I was also asked twice to join their silly monthly club or whatever it's called, truly a ripoff. I would stay far away and try to find someone local. I also wouldn't believe all the positive reviews, they are probably offering incentives for a good review.

I paid for a repair service visit due to my unit not working. Tech advised my "gas control valve" was stuck. He told me with the age of my system, that part would be very difficult to find and would likely cost over $900 just for the part. He suggested I replace the unit. The issue is: I quick google search for the part number revealed that part is very readily available.
It cost in the area of $150 new. It's even available on Amazon! I don't believe they even did a diagnosis, and the tech was either incompetent (in not knowing how common that part it) or he was just trying to sell new system. After noticing this, it brought into question if that part was even the problem. Another company was called who advised that part was completely functional.
In the end, I paid this company to repair my system, but instead got lied to and the company upon making a complaint I was told they would not refund my cost of the repair visit. I paid to get lied to!

Fayette Heating & Air are crooks for anyone interested in hvac needs. DO NOT USE their "services. They are like those mechanic shops you've seen reports of that bring you in for an oil change before you know it you are out thousands for things your car didn't need. Joined their maintenance program where they "check" your system. Mine was running great but they said I needed an air scrubber and a couple other items because it wasn't running at full capacity. $1700 later I did it reluctantly (wish I hadn't now).
Week later my upstairs unit just stops. Have them come check and originally the tech said it was probably some thing the tech who installed it did. He had to come back the next day because he didn't have the parts. All the sudden he comes back with a spotter employee and says they need to charge me $500 dollars fo fix because there is no evidence they caused this .
So I will have another company come out and fix the issue you caused, cancel the program that caused my air conditioner to go out, and make sure this area knows what crooks your company is.

I would give 0 stars if I could. In the past 3 months, we have spent over $2500 in repairs. When the technician came to do our "routine checks" with their "Comfy Club" membership (which is an insane and useless rip off), we were told we had issues which resulted in us spending over $1500. About a week later, the unit stopped working suddenly. When we had them come back out, they wanted to charge us over $500 again.
They refused to take responsibility for whatever damage they caused and tried to tell us a rodent probably chewed through the wiring or a staple eroded wiring. We do not and have ever had a rodent issue and if it was eroded, why wasn't it identified when they did the maintenance. Their customer service representative was useless as well. Now we are going to have to find someone else to come in and fix whatever it is that they caused.

I belong to the comfy club too but not from today on. I made an appointment for H2O plumbing and Fayette heating and air to come out today at the same time. 10-12. They said I made to Hvac appt but I have the H2O conformation. So a guy shows up at 10:45 to service the hvac and he found some issues at the tune of 1200. Which I fixed and then he stated he can't finish because he is not a geo hvac person. What.
I have geo hvac. Well it's not on your folder. What. You have already serviced it multiple times because it had lots of issues and you installed it but it's my fault it is not on my folder. I call them and they say they will get someone out. Ok. By the way the plumber won't show up either but we can tomorrow. No thanks. You don't respond to emails.
So at 12:45 I get a call on my way. Yes the geo hvac will be finished. Nope wait till 3:15 to call and told it was canceled. What. Yes he will not be there. Let me talk to a manager. Can't. They will call you back. It's not my job to make you happy but I will schedule you another appt. Says manager. Really that's all you got for wasting my whole day. Let me cancel comfy club today. If you like waiting for people who don't show up and don't call this group is for you, they will be glad to take your money.

Had a new AC Uit installed in December 2019. Nothing but problems since. On my 4th service call now. 1st.within a month afterwards, thermostat wasnt communicating with furnace because tech didnt properly install a wire. 2nd.system wasnt cooling due to a piece on the compressor fan going bad. 3rd and most recent.system not cooling 2 days ago, but started cooling again after I turned it off and it got up to 82 in my house!. Tech came to look at it yesterday and acknowledged a faulty surge or something on the furnace that is prevalant on hot days but not covered by warranty and costs $375.or you just reset the unit when it happens again. Uh.
It's 68 this morning. Regardless, I shouldn't have to do that on a system period, ESPECIALLY one that's less than 2 years old! It's happended again! Condensor fan not running! On my 4th call this morning AS SOON as they open! I have definitely been sold a $7700 lemon.

Our AC went out on one of the hottest weekends of the summer. Called Fayette H&A and they came out within an hour. Our technician, Zach, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He got our HVAC up & running quickly. I would definitely recommend their services and will use them in the future. Service: Repair HVAC

They are not the cheapest but they are the best for service and accommodating for request and needs. Our system went out and also the plumbing for the whole house went out just 2 days later! They replaced the furnace with in 4 days and due to being busy the plumbing was 2 weeks out. We did not have a problem with this due to parents living close by.
But at the end of each work day with the plumbers you could not even tell they had been in the house other than the gutted bathroom. No trash or any substances left behind! I refinished the bath myself after the other bath and kitchen had been restored to working order. It took several months for us to do the work ourselves and they promptly returned to finish the last bath when we let them know we were ready!
Again new tile on floor in shower and new toilets and vanity. NOTHING damaged or scratched and nicely sealed and finished! Getting ready to move and they will service the next home as well!

They came and installed two days after I called. Price was exceptional, techs knowledgeable, considerate of Covid, and worked very fast to insure we weren't without AC for long. EVERYONE I dealt with was professional and very kind. I totally trust these people. They educated me completely before I even purchased the unit. I love my AC. This company was and is the Best of the BEST!BRING ON SUMMER NOW!

They charged me over $400 dollars to replace a $20 dollar capacitor. Ridiculous. I understand a business needs to cover cost and pay employees but this is totally unethical. It took their technician about an hour to diagnose my problem and fix it. Pay for techs time that's fair $35 an hour. ( looked up online idk markup. ) Pay service call on a Saturday $89 ok yeah I take the hit. but to mark up the price of a part 14 times what it costs Really?

We are thrilled with Ryan and Wayne who installed our new HVAC system today. These men started early and worked tirelessly & diligently the entire day. This was after they removed our old system from the dark, hot attic. They were very good about our little dog who continuously barked at them throughout the day. They were professional and took time to answer any questions. They hauled all the old unit away plus the crate and debris from the new unit. We could not be more satisfied. We called because we moved into a new house and discovered that our UPstairs air conditioning was not working properly. The tech arrived and fairly quickly said there was a leak in the system. After a bit of time, he said he had found the leak. He ordered the part and quoted us $1,000 for the repair. After he left our DOWNstairs air conditioning was no longer working.
I called their office before close of business and the office staff was rude and refused to send someone back out that day to resolve the issue, despite it being 84* outside and us now having no working AC due to their error. A different tech came the next day. Long story short, we discovered the 1st tech spent the whole time working on the downstairs unit (which was working fine when he arrived and was inoperable when he left) and the "leaky part" he discovered did not actually have a leak (in other words he was prepared to charge us $1,000 to fix a nonexistent problem and leave the actual problem undiagnosed).
We were frustrated enough with the first tech's incompetence and the office personnel's lack of customer service that my husband asked to speak with the customer service manager. Unfortunately he wasn't much better and did not follow through on what he said he would do. To add another level of disorganization, I was contacted today by their office stating that the part had arrived and the repair could be scheduled.
I grew suspicious because the 2nd tech said the part was back ordered for a few weeks. I asked them to double check with the tech and they responded that it was not the right part and we couldn't schedule service yet. The tech that came the second time (Jacob) was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and trustworthy. He even took the time to go back to the shop and bring us a window unit because our bedroom was 80*. He is the only reason I am not immediately taking our business elsewhere - because he assured me he would be the one to handle the repair.

Professional service technicians with the training and knowledge to keep my heat and air equipment in tip top shape. When I place a service call Fayette Heating & Air will have a technician to my house in a timely manner and they will stay until my system is back up and running. I appreciate a company being there when I need them. Leo Shortridge Winchester

Knowledgeable technicians, A1 management and customer service representatives. Their pricing is also very fair, especially when compared to industry averages in their market. Their drug free - felony free advertising is also legitimate, yes I ran a background check on a technician just to see if they were really standing behind that promise. I know for a fact they terminated one of their top technicians who had fantastic technical skills and amazing customer service skills, due to an incident that Tech was involved in that resulted in him being charged.
They have a zero tolerance for that kind of behavior, and everyone who has serviced my Equiptment there has been on time, clean cut, and obviously drug free because let's be honest. It's not hard to spot Frank the Crank head coming from a mile away. Thanks for your dedication to the community and the safety of your customers Fayette!

Became a "Comfort Club" for simi-annual checkups. On their first checkup they said I need to replace the filter but they did not have the filters or tell me what type of filters I needed. It was required of me to go under the house to do it my self, twice Waited for the second semi-annual checkup & requested this include the filter change. BUT, they informed me this would require 2 Visit Charges, one to find out what filer & second Visit to install. They finally agreed to wave the second charge, BUT they charged me $100.00 for the filter, they sell at Home Depot sells them for less than $10.00. RIP OFF!

I've been without air almost a month. First, FH&A sent the wrong tech - one that couldn't work in my system and was here less than 3 minutes. Next, after waiting several days to get a qualified tech here - they said they would have to order a part. After another week, they showed and installed the part - only to realize that wasn't the problem after all. Again, they needed to order a part.
After two days of hearing nothing- I called. They part was still not ordered because they FH&A had failed to send the diagnostic report to my home warranty company. I've left voicemails for the service manager, Matt, but have not heard anything back. Again - one mistake after another and - and meanwhile I'm without AC for almost a month. Still waiting.

We started using Fayette heating and cooling about two years ago. We have several rental properties, commercial buildings and a private home. Our private home has seven furnace units. We were convinced to join the Comfi club and it would save hassle because all of the units would be well taken care of. We pay for each unit every month however we have more problems with the units now than ever.
The straw that broke the camels back is. We have two new units they installed one year ago. One of these units stopped working yesterday and I called Fayette to see if they could get it working. When they came they said the drain line was blocked off and shut the safety switch off. Which is how it should have operated. The issue I am not happy about is they charged over $300 to get the unit working.
I don't believe a new drain line should have clogged in less than a year I also don't believe that since the unit was serviced by them less than three months ago that the drain line should have clogged. They told me that it's lack of maintenance that caused the problem and my issue is they are the ones that I've been paying to do the maintenance since it was installed one year ago.
I now believe when they come out to do a maintenance call all they look for is things that they can charge me more money for. They don't do any preventative maintenance. It is a total waste of time and money. This has been worse than a timeshare, don't waste your money, .

I had a gas leak and needed an emergency repair. I contacted Fayette Heating and Air on Friday, May 15, 2020, and was told they could be there after 4 but the rate would be higher. I agreed to the higher rate because I thought this was a reputable company (I obviously hadn't read the reviews). I then contacted the gas company to cut off the gas and started driving almost two hours to meet the plumber at 4.
At 3:45 I received a call from a different person with the company who informed me they could not be there until Wednesday of the following week! I told them I has already had the gas shut off and I couldn't believe they were telling me 15 minutes before the appointment they couldn't be there for five days! I was put on hold so the woman could speak to the owner of the company but he still said they couldn't "fit me in" when I was already booked earlier.
After I hung up, I received a call from the owner and he let me know they were over booked because they had a contract with the city and the city had an emergency and they came first. It is now the week-end. I have no hot water and I can't get another plumber here until Monday. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Words to the wise regarding Fayette Heating and Air: After more than $1500 in repairs in the last 45 days, they tell us now that the whole unit needs replacement and the price is $10,500. We get a quote for the same system for $5,100. They lower theirs to $6,500 (amazing how the price went down $4,000 in 1 hour!). We say no thank you but how about refunding some of the $1500 we spent because you misdiagnosed the problem?
Oh No - we don't give refunds. Also they will not refund what we paid for their Care Club, since we won't be using them ever again. Expensive lesson learned but we will be sharing our experiences with everyone who will listen.

Very expensive service. I was charged 210 dollars for 5-minute reprogramming of my new ecobee4 thermostat. I requested a technician to come to check my Air conditioner as my electric bill was higher compared to the last year. he found nothing wrong with the system. I suggested to him that it might be the newly installed ecobee4 thermostat. He checked the wiring was good.
He found out that it's set up to auxiliary heat as primary and reprogrammed it and charged me 210 dollars without letting me know it will be that expensive prior to the reprogramming. Imagine, 5-minute setup of the thermostat and they charge you 210 dollars. I will never recommend them to anyone

Asked for same Repair man last time.not available.he had been promoted? So they sent a new man. Under warranty blower motor in air handler needed to be replaced. According to technication the unit would have to have refrigerant lines cut loose and air handler moved to gain access for replacement. he said that was an all day job and would be $2,228.00?
Even if an all day job.that is exorbitant. With over 40 years in construction I knew that was not right.a competitor did the job in less then 45 minutes for $252.00. This company would not return my 'Comfy Club' fee either? I will never call this company for anything again.don't trust them to be honest

We bought a full house generator from them several years ago. It seems from day 1 they offered no customer service without a huge bill. Just to ask a tech. a question is out of the question. They won't even let you talk to one. They want over $200 to do maintenance when all we called for was an answer to a question which they refused to provide.
If you are in the market for a full house generator take my advice and find another company. That's what we plan on doing if we ever need to replace ours. I did call Generac and they offered several things for us to do and also told us to call them back if that didn't work. I would suggest you buy a Generac but don't go to Fayette Heating if you want customer service or someone that stands behind their products.

I had a technician come to my home on Monday, gave me an estimate to fix several things total $708. One part had to be ordered and they told me that I would have to pay the cost for overnight shipping. I opted no, the fact that you are going to charge me overnight shipping fees ( $50-$100) on top of $708 charge. No thanks. Today is Friday and there is still no part, and my heat is still broken. Called them today and all they can tell me is that the company they ordered the part from haven't given them an ETA on the part.
I asked for and update on what they find out, that was at 10:30 this morning.still haven't heard from them (it's 9:15pm). Here's the kicker, after letting them know that I have been heating my house up with my stove, me and my children have gotten sick, they offer me "complimentary" space heaters, 4 days later! Then they stated that the technician should've offered me that option. It's bad business to let your customers wait in limbo when it's been so cold outside, especially with kids in the house. It's definitely bad business when you don't own up to your short comings. I want to cancel my comfort club membership and want a refund on the 20% I paid for. I will go somewhere else from now on.

These guys are "part changers." If your system is not under warranty, I would not recommend using them. They send a new guy every time and all they do is figure out what part isn't working and then change it out. Some of their guys are good, experienced and customer oriented. Others are none of those things.

A bit pricey, but they cam eout the next day and were very thorough. They still messed up and there was a problem afterwards. I was a little annoyed that their stance was "well, it MAY not be our fault, in which case, you'll have to pay." But the guy came out the next day (again), found the fault (which was theirs) in no time and fixed it right up.
