We purchased a condo on South Padre Island last September. We immediately replaced the water heater. I searched for plumbers in the area - we didn't know the area or people to ask for referrals. I found Burl's on line and read the reviews. After messaging, I got a call back immediately for scheduling. and he was on the job within 2 days. We just recently had a leaky sink and called Burl's again bc of the great experience we had last fall. Once again, great service! I would definitely recommend Burl's!

After winter storm 2021 caused busted pipes in our home, Daniel and John came quickly and meticulously tested and found 6 busted pipes and repaired them. Burls plumbing quoted over the phone 85.00 plus parts. His Tech came out and determined we needed to replace a plastic water valve part to flush the toilet. He went to get the part from the store which is about $15.00. The Tech called his boss to find out the cost. Burl quoted $175.00 to install a fifteen dollar plastic part which took five minutes. A total rip off! Beware! not to be recommended

I had a small water leak of my garden hose bib, consulted couple companies, Burls with the fast response and availability: when it comes to the price it's around the same but they gave me the quote out front with no hidden charges. Daniel did an amazing job fixed the leak and examined the pipe to make sure there's no leak. Also moved the pipe through exterior to another corner of the house, the new pipe looks clean. They use great quality material.

These guys are legit. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The prices are fair and the onsite techs were honest in their estimate of what was needed to repair my sink. I highly recommended this company and will absolutely be going back to them for any additional plumbing.

I had water damage in my new house from a clogged drain pipe. Another plumbing company unclogged it and then gave me a $8200 estimate to excavate the pipe and replace it. After one week of delays and excuses, without being able to fully use my bathrooms, my real estate agent gave me a referral to Burl's plumbing. They gave me a second opinion for free: turns out that I was being scammed for unnecessary work. Burl's plumbing resolved my problem the very next day with only a $1500 bill! They were thorough, polite, fast and showed and explained me everything they did. What a blessing!

I am a General Contractor serving the ATX. Hired Burl and his crew to come in and re-route a master bath to move the tub and shower in order to give my client more room and a modern look. Burl (the owner) showed up to make sure all was good and left us in good hands. We were quoted $85.00 service call plus parts. When the tech had diagnosed the problem it appeared we needed a $15.00 plastic part for our toilet. The Tech did a great job. He also checked with his boss for the price of installation. His boss Burl insisted on charging us $175.00 (!) to install this 15 dollar plastic piece. " Take it or leave it! " Burl's Plumbing does not deserve anyone's business, especially not a repeat business. Cannot be recommended -

My husband found Burl's Plumbing on Thumbtack. We are in the process of selling our home and needed a licensed plumber. It was Friday afternoon and we needed at least an estimate before the option period was over on Tuesday. They quoted me over the phone after I sent some pictures and explanation. They also scheduled us for the repair on Monday.

He came right on time between the work window 9:00-9:30 as they promised. He also texted before coming. He explained the repair and gave us the most economical efficent way of repairing. Also assured us that it would pass inspection. He was able to repair in less than 45 minutes which was awesome. Very honest, trustworthy, and professional. I hired 7 contractors to redo my master bath. Of them, Burl was the ONLY one that I didn't have to either fire or ask to fix anything. They went above and beyond and did things I didn't even ask for, such as lower a drain. They did it right the first time.

These guys were great! Very professional & friendly. They came to our home twice and quickly diagnosed & took care of problems with our water pressure, leaking faucets, and water heater. They arrived when they said they would and thoroughly explained to us the work that needed to be done. We had complete confidence in their work ethic and ability to do the job well. The BEST of the BEST. North, South, East and West. It is RARE these days as businesses are ONLY out for your money. They do not have a caring bone in their human body. Great company to do business with. The team is always punctual and knowledgable on plumbing issues. We moved into a new house in Georgetown and needed the clothes washing machine faucets replaced. Burl gave us quick scheduling and sent out Sam who was polite, courteous and did very good work. You cannot go wrong with Burl's Plumbing!

Nice guys that came over, but way to expensive for snaking a drain line. Close to 500$ gees. They made a pretty big mess but didn't have a shop vac to clean it up, kind of unprofessional, ,y ou should have the proper tools to do the job. Plus the machine they used scraped up my tile floors. So I had to go to Home Depot to get a magic eraser. Maybe use someone else.

Burl was an excellent plumber, and as this was our first time using him it was quite a relief. He came within an hour, quickly assesed the problem, and we had a new water heater before the afternoon was out. He was extremely professional, and did a great job! He even took special care to make sure our old, rotted water heater did not leave any stains or marks anywhere in our house as he carefully removed it. Fast, friendly, professional plumbing.

I feel like Burl tried to rip me off. The only reason I called him was because he had donated some $75 off cards to this place for veterans and I had won one in a drawing. So I thought I would be saving some money. I thought I needed a moen faucet cartridge replaced. I had the same problem in my guest bathroom, where I turned the water on and then the handle just kept spinning in circles and would not let me turn the water off, so I figured it was the same problem.

When that happened, I had a neighbor help me out and he fixed it in about 30 minutes and I bought the part for $34.99 at Lowes. This time instead of asking my neighbor again I called Burl. So Burl came and I told him I had the $75 coupon. He then told me it would be $275 to fix. I said I was not willing to pay that much. He said said, well just so you know. it's $75 just for me to come out here.

Then he acted like he was still willing to help me and said he would check his truck to see if he had the part. He found it and said the part cost $55. I told him that it did not cost that much and I could get it at lowes for $34. He then came back and said "well actually if I take the old broken one down to the wharehouse I can get the part for FREE because these have a lifetime warranty".

So Burl went back to the restroom and figured out that I didn't need the cartridge. It was just a broken handle. Anyhow, $275 was way overpriced in my opinion and he tried to charge me $55 dollars for a part that costs $35 at lowes when in actuallity he can get it for FREE. I am a veteran and he claims to be helping fellow veterans. I didn't feel like he was helping me in any way. I will not be calling him again. I needed a plumber and called Burls plumbing. They were able to replace the water heater at a fair price and right away. I have also used Burls plumbing to install a new sink with a fancy faucet.
