We called to have them come and clear a clogged AC drain line and a "tune up" $200 later and 4 days later our ac line was clogged again. The tune up is really just a diagnostic of your system. They don't do any "tune up" at all. I really don't think they did anything at all since my husband just unclogged it himself. I will be asking for a refund. It is very misleading to call it a tune up. They should call it a maintenance check.

Christian did an excellent job installing our new hot water heater. He explained everything he had to do to bring us up to code, provided clear information about the various options and worked very hard to get it done. He was kind, courteous and very personable. DO NOT buy a Goodman AC unit from Radiant. We spent $24,000 on 2 units last July. The main unit has given us nothing but trouble. We have had people here at least 11-12 times working on it and guess what?!.the damn thing isn't running at all now. No availability until tomorrow morning. UNACCEPTABLE! Steer clear!

I love giving credit where credit is due. In this day and age where you feel like everybody is out to financially get you. It's really nice to have a reliable company that you can go to again and again and again. Radiant is one of those companies. They have fixed other peoples problems for me and fixed new problems. They are my go to people for HVAC and plumbing. I just love them! Today Erick Loera fixed my HVAC problem. He was very honest and did a great job I am very happy to be able to have such talented people working for me!

I had a garbage disposal come loose and need to be resealed. The garbage disposal itself was fine, so no parts were needed whatsoever. The labor to fix it took 30 minutes, and I was charged 350 bucks. That's 350 bucks for no parts and a half hour of labor. Having had to wait a couple of days already, and needing my sink for the weekend, I went ahead and paid it, but that is straight up gauging. I would never call them again.

Preston Nichols and Christian Hernandez came to solve a water heater problem. They both were wonderful! They finished in 20 minutes, gave us a range of cost estimates for long-term prevention of such problems and, like always with Radiant, were not just great technicians but very nice persons-neighbors. In November, I experienced a massive leak in my yard. Radiant was working on a house down the street, and came over to help. Turns out there was a busted sprinkler from a neighboring house. From then I promised myself to use Radiant for future plumbing needs. Andrew came by today, on time, and helped fix a few outstanding issues with my faucet, toilet and overall water pressure. He was incredibly helpful and jumped into fix. I appreciated the thoroughness and the ease of getting an appointment. Highly recommend them!

This place is not what they claim to be. AC blow in the middle of the summer? Sorry, they can't come fix it for days. Want an AC tune-up? Sorry, you'll pay over $100 more than what their competitors charge. Water heater give out? Sorry, they can't come for days. They also misleadingly claim to be "Open 24 hours" when in essence it's just an answering service who takes down your information and lets you know they'll call you during "business hours." Don't buy into the corny and misleading ads on the radio.

My wife and I recently bought our new home and had the builders run a gas line to the patio for direct hookup to our outdoor griddle. I did a fair amount of research on how to uncap and connect the proper connector so I could hook up the griddle. It seemed like something that should be easy enough to do myself, but not having experience in doing so, plus the fact that it's dealing with gas, I followed what many suggested and contacted a licensed professional.
In fact, I contacted quite a few licensed professionals with no luck in getting anyone to come out and help. Most were either booked for the next two months, or charged extra due to our location (Dripping Springs). I was randomly following a Radiant van in traffic and figured I'd give them a call. Glad I did. They were very responsive, we're able to schedule someone to come out a couple days later, and they had the lowest fee to come out.
I scheduled a window for them to come out, and they were very communicative throughout. When Sean, the technician, arrived he was very friendly and professional. He explained exactly what was needed and outlined everything before starting. Once I agreed to the work to be done, he discovered that the adapter I had for the griddle didn't fit properly with my gas stub.
He went to Home Depot and got the right part and had me up and running in no time. I'm glad I called Radiant and will definitely keep them in mind if I need any plumbing or A/C services in the future.

Radient installed my second air conditioner in two months last week because both units went down within a few weeks of each other. That said they did their work efficiently and everything is working great. The install team was professional and even cleaned up after they were done. Then, Tim the tool man came out today and finished the carpentry around the air intake unit and he went above and beyond to match the paint and leave me enough to touch up other parts of the house if I needed it. Tim was great!

Tim the Toolman is brilliant! The installation of 2 HVAC units required the removal of attic-access stairs and trim. In the process, there was minor damage done, which is to be expected. But, have no fear. Tim the Toolman is here! Tim showed up today and reinstalled the attic stairs and trim, touched up and repainted. Not only does it look as good as it used to - it looks BETTER. Tim was professional, talented, respectful of me and my property, and dealt well with the chattering chihuahua puppies who wanted to announce his every move. Radiant is lucky to have an excellent team member like Tim to take amazing care of customers. Thanks Tim!

Derek arrived on time to assess an issue we were having with a leaking condensation pipe. We had another AC company come out earlier that week and were already pretty sure what was causing the issue and Derek confirmed our assumptions. He was able to offer advice, test the line, get us a quote and get the repair done the same day, which was very unexpected.
He was super helpful answering our questions about the new condensation pump that he installed and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the result. He also helped us troubleshoot another issue just before leaving. Both the price and service were better than the other company and I won't hesitate to call Radiant again for future issues.

From the customer service to the AC tech ERIC, this company is absolutely THE BEST! I am still so incredibly surprised with the entire process. I contacted Radiant to look at our AC which in part of the house which was not performing properly. Lucas came from Radiant and did the most thorough inspection I've ever seen including over 100 photographs. This was extremely professional and helped no-end when he explained what was going on. He's was extremely personable and took the time to get to the root of the problem.

We moved into a house with an existing plumbing issue (though the inspector ensured us it wasn't an existing issue, just evidence from an old incident). After a few months of living there, we noticed a drip from the ceiling, so we called Radiant to get it fixed. The fix was a little pricey, but it solved the problem. However, to get to the drain causing the problem, the plumber has to cut a hole in our ceiling.
After waiting several weeks to hear back from the handyman team we reached out and realized our job had slipped through the cracks (an honest mistake). However when they finally returned to patch the hole, they found black mold and had to do a huge job. Cue Tim and Joey, two professionals who could not have been nicer or more helpful. They told us exactly what they needed to do and got to work rearranging our dining and living rooms.
It took several hours, but the end product was a brand new ceiling with absolutely no evidence of there ever being a stain or a hole. Overall incredible work by those two, and it was so easy to communicate with and schedule appointments. The last thing is that since they made a mistake leaving it for so long, they incurred the cost of the mistake, so the patch was no cost to us. This is an amazing company with amazing technicians!

Radiant installed our A/C unit after our old one failed. Overall, the experience was positive. The process went smoothly from initial proposal to installation. We were able to secure a maintenance plan as well, which was a bonus. However, that's where my experience was soured. During our previous maintenance check, the technician forgot to plug in the fuse to the condenser.
We didn't notice for several weeks until the weather started getting warmer. I just find it shocking that the technician concluded their work without properly wrapping up. I thought our new unit broke down until I noticed the fuse sitting on top of the wiring box. While I'm sure this was just a small oversight, I hope Radiant sees this review and ensures their technicians are following protocol. Overall, I would recommend Radiant, but perhaps a little less whole-heartedly after my last experience.

In 2019, we were so pleased with Radiant, we gave them five stars. So, we called them again when we needed to unclog a drain in the kitchen. We were not aware that Radiant was purchased by an investor, who is not (from our experience) following through with training new staff in the culture we so appreciated. In February of this year, 2022, we had five visits from Radiant, each plumber saying the plumber before them didn't know what they were doing.
We spent $1,200 and then were given an estimate to 'fix' the problem that was over $10k. The $1,200 would not be applied to the actual fix. We cut our losses and called on another local plumbing company. All money we paid to have the new company assess the situation was applied to the total bill. It really is all about how you treat your customers, Radiant.

We've used this company on a few occasions for both A/C work and plumbing and I continue to be extremely impressed with their service! The team that talks with you on the phone stays in constant communication with you, letting you know exactly what is happening and when. ***EDIT from previous review*** How could my information, work order, payment information not be available in your system Desiree? It was last summer, surely you keep service tickets and payments in your system? Or was my 'tech' going rogue and keeping the money and customer data? After reading countless posts on various forums all complaining about Radiants extremely high charges, my experience isn't unique or isolated. I guess you have to charge more to budget those ridiculous commercials.

We had two separate plumbing issues that needed to be addressed quickly. Radiant Plumbing was so impressive on every level. From the first contact to book the appointments all the way to the friendly technicians who diagnosed and fixed the issues. We had Radiant replace both our AC and furnace units last year. They were great and walked us through the whole process. They offered us many different options for addressing our problem and never pushed us to choose any specific plan. When we had some duct issues with the older parts of the system a year later, I knew they were the ones to call. We had the same excellent customer support and service level with a completely different crew.
They had someone show up the following day and a crew and parts ready to start the work two days later. We will 100% call them again if we have any other issues. I also want to shout out Tim "The Toolman" - the handyman they have on staff. We had some pieces of the wooden attic ladder break during install and Tim went above and beyond to fix it. The craftsmanship and love he put into rebuilding a simple attic ladder were terrific and not what I expected from an install mistake. Tim gave us a better product than we started with.

Today's service was a routine maintenance check but what I appreciated about today's appointment so much is that this was scheduled, followed up and confirmed by their staff over the past six weeks. I would not have thought to do this myself. Also, Grady, our service technician, was right on time, extremely courteous and came in correctly masked while also wearing shoe coverings.
In times like these, seeing that level of precaution makes me feel a bit more secure of where their techs just came from and the homes they visit next. When it came to the service at hand, Grady was able to locate and correct an old error in our furnace that more than likely occurred when our house was built in 2015, thus our furnace should now run three times more efficiently than before.
This is now our second official appointment with Radiant and all I can say is for the past year, not only have we been pleased with their service but continue to be comfortably cool in the first, second and third summer of the year and the warm in during the mini winter.

We mentioned some airflow issues between upstairs and downstairs and he was able to explain the issue and some potential solutions. Taylor, the plumber noticed I did not have to replace whole water heater now, because only the pressure relief valve was leaking. He also looked up the age of my water heater; plus did flush of system. Another company did not notice the pressure relief valve was leaking, and simply would have installed new water heater. So what would have cost me a few thousand with another company ended up only costing me about $200 with radiant. I would definitely choose radiant when eventually I will need to replace my older tank gas water heater.

What is a bit frustrating is the cost of the work. I was given three options - the first being the base which is basically the same as what I had (which is what the builder installed), the second being a step (or two) above, and then the third being something that is likely used in restaurants. The prices, if I remember correctly, were ~600-700, $950, and ~$1,100-1,200, respectively.
I decided to go with the second/middle option. When I look up the exact brand and model installed online the prices range from $200 to a little under $300. So I paid $650 for less than an hour of work and a Radiant warranty that many others offer (and even if others didn't it is not worth that amount). I was in a bind and needed it replaced ASAP.
I didn't feel comfortable trying to do it myself by watching YouTube videos. I am sure they are aware of this and I find it to be a total abuse. Taking advantage of customers like this should be illegal. The next time I need plumbing and/or A/C services I will definitely shop a bit more and maybe just risk doing it myself and saving hundreds of dollars.

Trevor installed our new water softener. He was very knowledgeable about our make and model. Trevor walked us through what needed to be done and kept us informed throughout the installation. He programmed our softener for us and explained to us what to do if we need to make any adjustments. Trevor provided us with great customer service! We highly recommend Radiant and ask for Trevor! Tech 1.furnace and ac Routine but caught a couple of things that needed to be done. Gave options for repairs at several different price points. Was able to answer questions and make the needed repairs. Very easy to work with and feel more prepared for winter especially after last years ice storm. Tech 2. Had a second service on plumbing and water pressure.tech found issue quickly and gave me options for repair.
He was able to find parts.ger them to my house and make all the repairs. What a relief! Two separate issues resolved by 2 very personable and experienced techs. This is a good reliable company!

I cannot speak more complimentary about CT Hill. The guy is the best plumber I've ever seen. He and radiant knocked a repair job out of the park. The mess he unraveled was something that had been a problem for 8 months - and multiple people to ok cracks at it, some for days at a time. CT finished it in 30 mins. I only wish I had more broken things to call them in for. An odd thing to say, I know, but I am dead serious.

The water in our shower would not turn off. I called Radiant at approximately 11:00am. I was told it would be in the morning for my appointment. But they called this afternoon and said they could have someone here in 15 minutes. I've had an amazing experience with Radiant from the get go. The customer service team who answer the phones are always responsive and quick to call back if they miss your call. They are also incredibly accommodating with scheduling. I was waiting on a shampoo bowl for my salon that was on back order and everyone with Radiant was understanding that I needed a bit of flexibility with my install date. Preston just finished putting in my shampoo bowl and I couldn't be happier.
He had everything done in just over an hour and was even kind enough to go above and beyond and remove all the shipping packaging. I will definitely be using Preston and Radiant again in the future!

We had multiple holes and failing ducting in a 100 year old house. Drew came out and was awesome to work with and we were confident with the plan for better airflow, they got us scheduled quickly, and were very responsive with any questions and concerns. Tim was so thorough in making sure everything was restored perfectly, and everything looks and feels brand new and was great to work with. Very happy with the communication, timeliness in scheduling, and how thorough everyone we worked with was in making sure we were happy with the job.

I'm really sad to see all the negative reviews. While I know some could be warranted, I feel many are being overly critical. It's so expensive to live in ATX and being more and more so by the day. (You know the Radiant techs live here too right?) When I had my plumbing episode a few months ago, I got nothing less than what I paid for. Outstanding customer service that will no doubt increase the efficency and longevity of my home.
Not just that, but I felt so supported! I want to go a little further with my last review (5) because I had some issues and concerns pop up last week after I decided to replace a few things at Radiant's advisement (again, months ago). I still am very happy with the service. My technician didn't blink at my initial unhappiness when he arrived. Turns out some things did need to be tuned, but I also needed an education on home plumbing!
Could I have gone to the hardware store and tried to fix it myself or spend hours on youtube learning how or trying to find a handyman to? Sure! Those guys are swamped right now by the way. No. And I'm super glad I didn't. I learned alot by watching and asking questions to my tech who had absolutely no issues answering, in fact encouraged it. I'm a fan of Radiant and yes, I also think the corny commercials are funny and perfect advertisement.

STAY AWAY! I have a backed up sink and called Wednesday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for Friday morning. I called this morning to, the system would either hang up or force me to leave a message. They call back two hours later to tell me they are slammed and that the soonest they could come is on Tuesday!?!?!?. I told them this was an emergency as I have family coming on Saturday.
They said that since this was not a "true emergency" that the soonest they could come is Tuesday. Why the heck did you even bother booking an appointment in the first place? How many "true emergencies" popped up in 24 hours that pushed back my appointment four days? STAY AWAY - the commercials are pure lies.

Welcome to the theater. Radiant has it down. Someone calls for a tune-up. Technician arrives, climbs into attic and immediately starts saying there are spores in your system, you have mold, your systems lungs are contaminated, have you been having issues with allergies. This is in disrepair. Then calls not 1 not 2 but 3 more technicians out to the house to walk around talking about how the system is falling apart.
Then sales guy shows up. Lists out all the reasons why the type of system I wanted a quote was no good. Gives me a quote for a 1200 square foot home of $9800 for new system and 4500$ for 3 ducts to be redone.looking at close to 17000$$$. I also want to add, my home is not your home.so when you sit down in my (MINE) home office, drape yourself over my couch as if you are f&$@ lounging. unacceptable.
I did get a second opinion. It's not black mold.it's mildew. which is normal on a 15 year-old system, duct work is not 4 grand closer to 800$, and for everything $7k. Y'all should be ashamed of your behavior. It's shocking to me that you this many reviews. To my ladies. you single and need trustworthy people you can rely on. it's not radiant. Also, I called you for a tune up and I got the circus from hell.

AC wasn't blowing cold. They did full maintenance inside without asking before investigating the real issue. Capacitor was dead on the outdoor unit. Charged me $375 for a $15 part, then after I agreed to the maintenance plan at the end, I found out later that the maintenance he did beforehand counted toward the plan he hadn't sold me yet.
He also had me order a $150 fan motor for $600. Luckily I was able to cancel the order (after the office was rude about it). If you use them, get the diagnosis and order the parts yourself. Good diagnostics, bad selling practices.

This review is specifically for one of Radiant's project mistake repair teammates, Tim (The Toolman) Ferguson, because he did such an amazing job. I will write a separate review about the actual installation of the AC we just had once some final items are handled on Radiant's side, but wanted to make this review separate because I think he did such an incredible job.
As we were getting our AC replaced, while up in our attic one of the technicians accidentally put a hole in the attic floor, ie our family room ceiling. Radiant promised to send someone to repair the hole for free, who would "make it look as good as new" - a claim I was deeply skeptical of. Boy was I wrong! A few days later Tim arrived (right at the scheduled time), and got to work immediately.
He was incredibly thorough, answered all of my questions, happily explained to me what he was doing at various phases, offered advice on repairing other unrelated issues in my house, and was just generally a professional, courteous, and helpful guy. In terms of his work product, I really appreciated his amazing attention to detail. Seriously. He: - Isolated the area with plastic flooring and curtains to ensure that none of the messy sanding and texture spraying got anywhere.
When he was done he just wrapped it all up in plastic, vacuumed the area around where he walked, and was done. - Ensured that the float lines along the ceiling were non existent and that the new texturing feathered into the old texturing (this is seriously time-consuming and tedious work) - Took 2 trips to different paint stores to exactly match our existing paint colors - Walked along particular paths in our house to minimize mess - Conscientiously moved items carefully out of the way and placed them back when he was done Ultimately, Tim exuded a thoughtfulness you just don't frequently see.
I felt like he actually cared about his work and our property. When he was done, the end result actually looked better than it did before the accident. So, thank you so much Tim for the incredible job well done!

Radiant put in a new AC for my home about a year ago. It's been running perfectly until. 3am last night. I called right then and there and they actually had a live human answer. She said they'd call me at 8:30am and would probably be able to make a service call. I went back to bed, called them at 8:30am, and by 10am my man CJ was at my door.
He fixed it within minutes- just replaced the capacitor. He then informed me that the vents on my condenser were super dirty, because of the pollen from a nearby tree. He actually cleaned them for me since my hose was right there! Anyway, since I'm still covered by my two year warranty, there was no charge. @radiant if you're reading this CJ is awesome- give that man a raise. Radiant is a little more pricey than other places. But when my AC goes out in the middle of the summer in Austin, I want a guy out here ASAP. Radiant provides that level of service. I'm so happy I went with them.

Argh! The last review I did of this scamming company was a bad one because they tried to sell me an HVAC sufficient for a 1500 - 2000 sq ft house. My house is 964! (For those unfamiliar with sizing, you don't want a unit that's too big because, science!) They wanted more than $10,000 because, duh!, Snowpocalypse price gouging. The real replacement cost $7,000, with more bells & whistles than Radiant & I discussed.
After posting my 1-star review, Radiant hounded me in all media. They will figuratively beat up a literal disabled old woman over a bad review. Why am I writing this now? I received a Yelp DM from a woman who relied on my positive Yelp rating to hire Radiant and, yes Virginia, they screwed her over. I can only surmise that Yelp has joined the BBB in the worst form of capitalism, i.e., letting businesses pay to have bad reviews removed.

BUYER BEWARE! This company will scam and fraud you! We setup a 24 point inspection appointment. Technician came out and told us our fan needed to be replaced. Quoted us ~$550 for the replacement and also recommended we have at least one overflow sensor installed on our secondary pan for another ~$250. Ok, great we said. A/C is under warranty, no big deal right? Nope.the fan part that HAD to be ordered because of the warranty was twice the price, but they said they would submit the claim for us so it still ended up being around $550.
This was our first time dealing with a warranty issue so we trusted what they told us. Technician comes back to install the fan and says, "Oh, your compressor is bad. That's another $2800." So at this point we call the warranty company directly (the technician said he called them for us before) and our warranty company tells us that we have to submit an invoice from Radiant to be reimbursed for the cost of the fan that was already installed and would need an invoice for the compressor that they said needed to be replaced.
At this point the story we were getting from Radiant wasn't adding up. My husband called a friend that knows A/C (probably should have just started there) and he came out and told us our compressor was in perfect working order, it was our capacitor that wasn't working. A $40 part. He also said that the first thing the previous technician should have check was the capacitor. So, we called Radiant back.
At this point they already had over $900 from us for the inspection and the fan that was under warranty and the cost of installing the 2nd overflow sensor. We let them know that we never received our invoice for the work completed and that their technician try to sell us on replacing a $2800 part that wasn't broken. They have REFUSED to provide us with an invoice that shows the cost of the fan so we can submit an insurance request and also refuse to provide us with the results of our inspection.
We have spoken to several managers and they tell us their system "won't allow them to provide us with a breakdown for the services provided." How much did they pay for the parts? What was the cost of labor? Why are they afraid for their customers to see this information? They say their billing isn't set up that way. That's a lie. There is now way their accounting department doesn't have these costs lined up to different GL's.
They KNOW they have been caught scamming us out of money. They submitted a credit of $158 for an "accidental overcharge" to try and placate us but again, can't tell us what was overcharged. Do not do business with this company!

Outrageously priced. Do not waste your time! Technician was nice, but I was quoted 2-3x what you can get work done for elsewhere, nearly $500 for a simple job that would take less than an hour (10 inch pex extension to hose bib, see picture - all plumbing exposed and easily accessible). Should take about 45 minutes, and is less than $30 in parts. I'm not sure there is an easier job out there, so my guess is $500 would be the minimum they charge for any amount of work. Then I still had to pay them $39 for giving me a super high quote. What a ripoff. Don't bother with this company.

When our AC completely gave out Radiant was there to help us walk through the process of picking out the best unit to suit our needs as well as ensure that the unit was right for our house and budget. They definitely helped to ease some of the anxiety associated with buying a whole new system. We are absolutely satisfied
