They were not only very competent, but exceedingly courteous, careful, considerate and took the time to communicate with us throughout the job. While I was disappointed yesterday that they could not come out during the storm to fix my HVAC unit, Chris did come today - exactly at the time promised and the heater was fixed within a matter of minutes. Since new parts are also required, these were ordered on the spot. I've been a customer for over ten years, and I've come to expect fast, reliable, knowledgeable service.

Met with one of the managers about my water heater, nice guy, answered all my questions. Sent me some price options and scheduled a plumber out the next week. Very happy with my new tankless water heater. Thanks again.

William G Day provide a new Air Conditioner system with the Carrier Infinity Unit. Toby was very responsive and modified his proposal several times to meet our requirements. We got a very good price and excellent value. Toby, Kevin, and Marco were courteous and great to work with. The installation was on time and on plan. I recommend William G Day and will go to them for all my future business.

I am a new home owner and I had William G Day company come out and do routine work. Scheduling was easy they work with my busy schedule and the technician was very informative when going over everything I should do to help maintain my system. Completely recommend!

Chris was the service pro that took care of the work I had to get done. He was here at 8:00am on the dot as promised. He got right to the jobs I had asked to be done. Installed two new faucets in our bathroom, new shower head and fixed a nonworking body shower head. He was vary courteous, neat, and vary knowledgeable about his job.

I was having some trouble with my HVAC system, gave them a call and they came out and fixed the problem. The lady on the phone was very nice and addressed all of my concerns thoroughly. The technician was quick to respond, very professional and explained a proper maintenance schedule so I'm prepared for next time. Absolutely recommend!

I was having trouble with my water temperature in my shower. After a few days of cold showers, I called them. After working with me and listening to my issue, they were able to send someone out the next morning and fixed the shower. No more cold showers, thank you for your fast services!

I began contacting you in the morning of December 13, 2017. I asked you then about getting an appointment to have my meter installed so I can have the heat running. Before any of this happened, you told my family that it will only take approximately two days to install the meter. This information was completely misleading and put me and my family in danger.

I was without heat for seven days. The weather was harsh outside, and my house was freezing. I had to use another source to heat up the house which is hazardous. I had to put myself and my family in danger because you did not give me the correct information I needed. You even gave me a hard time when I asked you for a number to make my appointment.

Your response was that this number is only for contractors. I find out later, that the number is also available to the public. Because of me I could get an appointment due to several times calling in a day and sending email messages and web inquiry. After connecting the natural gas line and discontinue the propane line, I still had a problem. I reported the problem but it was guessing game what could be wrong with this.

There is no connection between installation of meter and connection of gas line. That was not communicate as well. Very poor communication. On December 28th when you visited my house because the inspection did not pass. You fixed the inspection query but my problem remains same the furnace was turning off. Regardless of my complained, your people did not know what was the problem.

There was no communication after that about the inspection was passed or not until I had to contact again. Very poor communication. I was told via text message that your company had to just send photos to resolve the inspection query. NO.No. No it is not true, I received a notice on Tuesday 2/6/17 from the New Castle County that I had to do an inspection in 10 days.

I called to schedule an appointment to come out. Again you would not tell your customer that you do not need inspection after your company has fixed the problem. Finally, I had to call my Furnace guy and explained the problem. He came out to my house to see what was the problem and he fixed it. This has incurred additional cost to me. This was due to your mistake.

The mistake was the pressure that had to be reset according to natural gas standards. Your people had no knowledge of this and I had inconvenient for several more days in this coldest winter.

After a friend recommended this company, I waited a week to get a Service Call- When Rich came, although I told the operator I needed service on 4 zones of AC-he refused to even TRY to make any repairs and claimed he was misinformed about the scope of work. Not only did he call to ask if he could come an hour before his appt because he had a cancellation, when I said it wasn't convenient, he came anyway!

After he said there was nothing he could do (at noon!) he left and I called the operator with whom I made the appt-and I explained my problem. She claimed not to know anything about this and I told her if he could just replace one thermostat, I believed the one zone would work. She never even called me Back! Well, I waited until today and Servicemaster came from Dover-what professionals!

They diagnosed the circuit breaker was off on two zones and the third and forth issue they will work on next week. Neither William Day nor anyone from the company had the courtesy to address my complaint and now, I feel people should know how I was treated as a customer and a friend of a client. Very bad customer service And technical abilities. On a service call for AC not blowing cold air-who doesn't check the circuit breaker but claims I need a consultation for all new units!

Horrendous in both technician that was sent our and the lack of follow up once I called the office.this was after I waited for days without air conditioning, then, the worker called and asked if he could come early, I said no, and he came anyway.one hour early before I was able to get home. A friend had to walk around with Rich and after looking at the issues of 3 zones not working, re refused to do ANY diagnosis or service and just staid he would sent someone back to estimate for new AC!

After he left, we found that 2 of the units had tripped circuit breakers, such an easy fix to get our AC up and running during the 90 degree temps. I.m not saying we don't need work done, but, this company was the worst. I was almost crying when I called the receptionist after the tech insisted on leaving, and she confirmed I had a SERVICE call.just no excuse.

Call Breeding and Day-they came through with flying colors. Oh, and I have to.m ENT ion that William Day was recommended by a friend. I have told her as well how rudely and poorly we were treated.

Not a place to do business with. Didn't finish a job correctly. Left with leaky pipes and hot water not running correctly in our house yet we still get threatening letters about payment and going to the credit bureau and having to pay extra legal fees. Find someone better. Thank you for your unsatisfactory and ignorant business
