My experience with The Twin Home Experts was amazing! They did a great job in our home and were very prompt and professional. It is very obvious that they are experts in mold detection and related water damage inspection. I will refer them to everyone I know.

I Like to call them the dynamic duo, that is two twin brothers, Jimmy and Dalton. I hired them to come to my home for mold detection. We made an appointment for 5:30 in the afternoon one day, and they were there sharp at 5:30 pm. Both Jimmy and Dalton were dressed in their matching work uniforms, even their caps were matching. Both Jimmy and Dalton were very professional, polite to me and my family, and very courteous.

They performed their work by collecting samples from the areas we suspected had molds behind the drywall, and also in areas damaged by the major rain storm from back in December 2021, according to weather reports and google, to have been the worst rain storm in the history of Los Angeles. After Jimmy and Dalton completed their, they extended an additional courtesy discount on top of the good rate they had already quoted, and we ended up paying the lower amount. My family and I were extremely happy with their work, they did a wonderful job, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, including friends and family.

I am skeptical of this business and there are some red flags I should have paid attention to. Red flag 1, they came out to do a rat inspection and didn't inspect, just sold me on there $1500 smoke test. Red flag 2, amazing youtube videos about rat removal with state of the art equipment, which I didn't see when working on my house. Red flag 3, they couldn't find the correct area and made 3 large incisions in my drywall with no luck even after the smoke test.

Red flag 4, they still did not diagnose the opening and now I have to patch all my drywall cutouts. We later found the problem with me pinpointing the problem area and having to call them back to come out. I would stay away from this company and there fancy youtube rats/smoke test upselling.

Second time booking Twin Home Experts, Elmer always find ways to accommodate my urgent needs to test for mold. Definitely recommend this company for any air quality testing, their reports confirmed an allergy that my daughter developed to mold. Service: Mould inspection

Dalton we truly appreciate your honest advice. Thanks to you we saved considerable amount. We were told by four other company reps that our home is full of mold and water damage and no way out than to remove the walls and get it clean. and to do that will have to move out. When Dalton inspects the home, he showed us that it was not the case, his recommendation was that we have miner issues and can be fixed in a day for few hundred dollars. He was very knowledgeable he knows his subject very well. If there is any company, I will recommend it will be Twin Home Experts and Dalton. Once again Thank you.

Critical: Quality, Value Bought the mold removal. I paid $64.95 with shipping. It s no better than a gallon of bleach (Clorox). I paid 12x's more, than I could of with bleach. Twins product smells and looks like bleach. Save your money people! One unhappy customer .,,,

I honestly haven't looked for another company because they have always delivered professionalism and responsiveness! Unfortunately we haven't had much good luck with rentals! Luckily I can count on them. Elmer made sure i got the right price and the specialist Mark k who got sent for test was very informative. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM! THANKS GUYS!

Great company, very responsive and extremely helpful. Took care of our Guest Bathroom water problem in short order. Answered all questions, always showed up on time, and prices are very reasonable. Email professional quote and invoices. Was willing to leave their drying equipment for a little longer while we worked with home insurance - no extra charge.

Also helped us with not destroying the entire bathroom. They took their time and now we have a much easier repair. Very happy with Jimmy and his crew. Would absolutely use Twin Home Experts again.

This is a follow-up to my review below from two years ago. A year after installation, our shower sliding door developed a problem - the glass warped, and it dragged when trying to close. This was a manufacturer's defect - not an installation problem. I contacted Dave & he called the manufacturer who refused to honor the warranty. Dave stepped up and covered the cost himself to install a replacement door.

It took some time to get the manufacturer to send the new door, but eventually it arrived, and was installed by a handyman, again at Twin Home Expert's expense. I truly appreciate Dave's attitude and willingness to address our concerns, well after the original installation. He is a stand-up guy! Many thanks. We have a Palm Desert vacation home that needed an updated shower.

We wanted a built-in seat along with a sturdy grab bar. Dave initially came out & measured all the specs. He was very cordial and helpful - no sales pressure. His team coordinated on timing, as we were not always available. The installation went great - all done in one day, as promised. They came back for a second visit to install lighting, and that went great as well. My wife and I are both very happy. A real pleasure to work with Twin Home Experts. I would use them again for sure!

Twin Homes Experts helped repair our water damage, mold remediation and left our house mold-free and paint ready. They were incredibly quick and efficient in completing the job. They even helped with an additional project in our garage while they were completing the mold remediation work. They are a high quality, trustworthy, full service operation and very connected throughout the home repair industry. I would highly recommend Jim and his team to anyone in the LA area!

Josh did a fantastic job on my new shower surround, and I will definitely be recommending Twin Home Experts to friends and family for any bathroom remodeling projects. Josh provided excellent customer service and was great to work with. He checked in with me regularly on the details of the project to ensure it was done exactly how I wanted, and even referred me to additional contractors for some related work.

Twin Home Experts also did a great job with some significant mold remediation and got the project done quickly. Their pricing was very competitive, the customer service was great, and the work was excellent!

I looked out my window and noticed my neighbor had a worker there checking his meter and gas lines, so since I just had a outside gas barbecue installed I wanted to make sure there was no gas leaks. I went to go talk to the worker who's name is Sergio. He checked everything for me from top to bottom. He ended up actually finding a small leak that he fixed. Price was very reasonable and he was very informative with everything. Didn't try to over sell. These guys just picked up a client for life.

Sergio came for leak detention and found a leak to double check my contractors work. Shut off that line to make us safe in preparation of repairs. Highly recommended, good guy. Seems very trustworthy based on his help and opinion.

Elmer was incredibly caring and professional in dealing with a severe leak in a hose bib. All I knew was water was flowing out and flooding the front of my home. He stayed on the phone with me until ANOTHER plumbing company came out and made sure they didn't sell me more than I needed. I will be using Elmer abs Twin Home Experts for all plumbing needs

After watching some videos of complex sewer drain repairs on YouTube, I called and was connected to Elmer. He was super helpful and he knew his stuff. I got a much better sense of the scope of my problem, and I feel confident proceeding with Twin Home Experts.

Jim and team responded quickly when I called about a bathroom leak. They promptly identified the problem and then worked with our insurance company to ensure their procedures were properly followed so coverage could be maximized. After the work was complete, he took the time to carefully explain what he did and why he had to do what he did. The end-to-end experience with Jim, as well as the billing, etc, was efficient and professional. This is so rare to find that I had to compliment them in this review.

I recommend this company to anyone who suspects mold in their residence to avoid the ill effects of prolonged mold exposure. Lara from office support was really helpful! She answered my questions and offered me a mold service in the price range I was looking for. Both she and Alex, the inspector, were really informative and professional in every way. All my questions were answered and I felt confident that I choose the right company. I highly recommended this company's services!

Very quick and speedy with their turnaround time. Were here 24 hours after we requested a swab test. In and out in 20 min. Great service!

I called this company for an estimate that I was prepared to pay for, a guy showed up and he said that there was not enough damage in the house to warrant removal that I should keep it clean, we went into the garage were the roof leaks from the deck over the garage and there is a lot of visible water damage, he said that he sees mold on the ceilings near a corner, I explained to him that my wife was diagnosed with Lupus and I have 3 children, he said that he would have a report for me in 3 days with different options, I offered him money ie.

I asked him how much did I owe him for his time and travel cost and he said no not to worry about it, I still tried as I want to be paid for my time and expense. HE NEVER SENT ME ANYTHING, I GUESS THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH WORK FOR HIM TO MAKE THE TYPE OF MONEY HE WANTED TO MAKE! It sucks when someone tells you something and they don't follow through with it, nonetheless I found another company that is taking care of things. I am very disappointed, he seemed to be a good person and I was let down. Martin G.

Jim and Dalton were so great. They came in and were so professional and reliable and got our mold remediation done in a timely manner and did a fantastic job. After many mold remediation quotes I knew I had found the right guys to do the job as soon as I met them! They went over and beyond to help us out with everything and I'm so grateful to have found these guys on yelp. Thank you so much guys!

The owner then called me, after I texted to ask if he had something to do with the phone call, screamed at me to "Shut the fuck up" before hanging up on me.please read the review below and ask yourself if you want to deal with this company.

I hired Twin Homes in February to remove black mold from my home. They came twice to remove mold in 2 places (didn't have enough chemicals the first time). I had the first service area inspected and mold was still there so Twin Homes treated the area again when they came back. The owner, Jim Schuelke, treated me like a deadbeat when I hadn't paid the online invoice by 2 pm the next day (I told him I'd pay the next day but didn't specify by what time).

I was wary about such behavior at the time, yet still paid that day as promised. I now know why he insisted on getting paid so quickly and was so upset: The black mold returned within a week or so and I scheduled them to come back to fix the issue. Their representative was a NO SHOW TWICE. They refused to give me even a partial refund for a job NOT WELL done and have responded with a series of false accusations to support why they won't refund my money.

As an example, after the first no show by their service rep, the rep showed up at my house the next day, UNANNOUNCED and UNSCHEDULED, and sat out in front of my house (not coming to the door for some reason). Because I didn't answer my phone and did not know he was sitting in front of my house (I also, didn't know I was on call to answer my phone at all hours of the day in case they randomly showed up), they assert that it's my fault the service wasn't done. The representative then failed to show up a SECOND TIME but that was again my fault, somehow. Please think TWICE about using this company.

I just had Ruben over to fix a sink issue. It was an intricate job and Ruben was professional, quick, clean and friendly! I will specifically ask for Ruben moving forward. Thank you Ruben!

Amazing company, Amazing service. they go above and beyond for there customer. Not just about the job it's about helping people in need of there services. Had a major leak in our house about a month ago.

I had a clogged kitchen sink so I called Twin Home Experts. Jon and Mark came out to my house and got it cleared right away. Professional workers that do great work for reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

Jim and his team are AMAZING! If you need a plumber go with them! Over 2 years ago a pipe exploded in our wall and leaked all over our brand new home. Jim and his team fixed it immediately. They were friendly, efficient and extremely detailed.
