Mike is an amazing craftsman. We wanted to make a statement with our fence so we hired the best. I cannot say enough about how easy mike is to work with. He was always careful to give us exactly what we wanted. He did extra research to get us the wood that we wanted and make sure we were happy. The design was flawless. He checks and double checks.

He was always punctual and courteous. There were no hidden charges. He started and finish the job just when he said he would. I highly recommend fence Smith if you want something special PS. The backside of the fence is almost prettier than the front!

They are a family run quality and service oriented Team - this keeps them very busy so schedule in advance (the will always do everything possible for "Emergencies, " pool fence down etc.).

Years after our initial install, we called Mike to come take a look at our fence( gated driveway) that he had done for us. We had lost a Remote and needed more. Mike came over ASAP, reprogrammed and serviced our fence/ fence motor/ and new remotes to connect with our garage and as usual, offered the best customer service. He has been so successful with his company because of his work ethic and commitment to his customers. Hands down one of the best companies we have ever had work at our home!

Fence Smith was the only choice when it came to having our fence replaced. Courteous, professional, and my gosh, the work is amazing! He came in and got the job done in time and on budget. I cannot say enough good things. I will use them again in the future!

Initially we were satisfied with our new fence. Sadly, the fence started failing after just a few years and broke down totally at 5 years. Problems were the use of damp lumber, which twisted and pulled apart when it dried, and inadequate cementing of the posts. The posts failed and started falling over. The posts ultimately needed to be reinforced with metal poles and extra cement to stabilize the fence. By comparison the original cedar fence had lasted 22 years before Fence Smith replaced it.

Mike and Rebecca were so amazing to work with. I had several quotes for my front fence. They were in the middle on price. After speaking to several companies, I felt very confident they could execute my vision. Their customer service is exceptional and I am very happy with the result. Fence has not been stained just yet.

I found The Fence Smith on Yelp. I sent out a request for a quote to a small handful of fence companies. The Fence Smith responded relatively quick; however, setting up an appointment was long an tedious. They seemed to be more concerned about there schedule than mine.first red flag. After several attempts, scheduled an appointment.like two weeks out.

The owner, Mike Smith, showed a little early. We spoke for a few minutes. He stated he would get my quote to me via email over the weekend.second red flag. It's not like I have some super complex fencing need. All the other contractors produced a quote within minutes of measuring the fence. We'll the weekend has come and gone.no quote. I sent them a remainder.

No response. I sent a second remainder.no response. third red flag. Probably a good thing nothing came of their service. If it turns out to be that difficult to schedule an appointment for a quote and you can't write a quote onsite.likely the work will be sub par. I can't recommend. Maybe YMMV!

No reply to our request for a quote. I can only assume that they don't want / need the business?

From start to finish of this project, Fence Smith has been nothing but friendly and professional! The cost was reasonable, the workmanship outstanding, and Mike was super easy to communicate with during all the stages of getting the initial quote, confirming the contract, adjusting to changes that our neighbors requested, and the actual project which was executed neatly and quickly. I hope we can get our other neighbor on board to do our other fence, if we do we'll definitely be calling Fence Smith back!

After meeting with Mike and getting a quote, I decided I would go with his company because he was super honest and very nice. I had Mike of Fence Smith install 2 gate motors for existing gates I had in place. Mike went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked perfectly. He welded the old parts that weren't installed properly by the original installer and also installed a few other options that we had discussed to make the gates operate smoothly. I have had zero issues with the gates' operation and am so happy with the end result.

The Fence Smith did a wonderful job job installing a brand new fence at our home, their work was professional, on time, and they were extremely pleasant throughout the process from bid to install. Great company - we highly recommend them for all fencing needs.

A couple years ago, I wrote a raving review to express my happiness with Fence Smith's service, quality in workmanship, and their integrity with the installation of my gate opener. Since then, I have hired them to install my fencing and various other projects. I am here to say how happy I continue to be with everything they've done for me and my property. Mike (& Jeff) did a great job installing my custom fence. Their estimate was fair (lower than most) and they were extra-friendly to deal with in working out the details/cost/build. I will use Mike and the Fence Smith team again. UPDATE: I did use them again, 2 for 2, great job!
