Genuine Garage Doors

When we first used Stephen several years ago he was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, & fees were reasonable. Last time we used him he was not the friendliest. We thought he was having a bad. Recently we had a broken garage door spring on a Friday afternoon so we called & sent him an email. Never received a response. We ended up using Market Garage Doors & were very impressed with Leo & the job he did. C'est la vie Stephen!

Genuine Garage Doors was highly recommended by KVN Construction as a very good company for a new garage door. Steven was very easy to work with, had many options and styles of doors to recommend. After ordering the door, the pandemic closed the state down for several weeks. Steven made sure to keep me informed on my order and the installation by Mike was excellent. I highly recommend Genuine Doors for selection, great service, installation, and prices.

Great guys to do business with. Came on time and installed a glass door and composite overlay garage door for me. The quality was amazing and the price was good. Very knowledgeable and friendly guys. I will recommend them to anyone that is needing a garage door.

WOW! I am SO impressed with this company and the employees. Our house caught fire and our garage door needed to be replaced. I called for a quote and Stephen came to our house the same day and gave us a quote for garage door, motor, 2 remotes and a keypad. I ended up getting 2 other quotes and Stephens quote was $700 less FOR THE SAME DOOR PLUS I GOT 2 REMOTES & KEYPAD.

I am in shock. I had to wait 6 weeks to get money from insurance and this company honored the same price and installed my door 6 days after I called to schedule the install. The installer Mike was very professional, clean and very respectful. They even took the old door and broken, burnt parts for FREE. The 2 other companies wanted to charge for this. amazing.

My new door looks so amazing and it's so quite I can honestly barely hear it open and close. I'm so so so happy. Thank you for this company being local and not over pricing everything. Honestly if your getting a garage door this is by far the best place to go!

The owner answered his phone right away and scheduled for a service visit the next day. The day of, Mike arrived 30 minutes early (and called ahead to make sure that would be okay), which is possibly a first for me in dealing with a service company like this. Not only that but he was able to assess the situation within minutes and provide me with an easy-to-follow explanation and quote for the work that needed to be done.

He was not pushy in the least, so, after a quick call to my husband, we agreed to have the work done, and Mike was able to knock it out right then and there. He was so fast, professional, and easy to work with. I will absolutely be calling them for any other garage service we need in the future. Highly recommend!

I had an emergency situation where my garage door wouldn't close and it was getting late in the evening. I called Genuine Garage Doors and the owner, Stephen Damico, came right away after 7 PM at night at the end of his work day after just getting home. I was very impressed with his work, price, and professionalism. A rare breed these days. The guy knows his stuff, gets the job done quickly and correctly, and seems honest as the day is long. His business card is now on my fridge and will be the first company I call should I ever have a problem with my garage door again.

This company will gladly take your money and run. Installation was OK and price was OK. They will respond quickly to you to get your money. But when you have problems and it's still under warranty, they are not happy to fix your problem. I gave a $10 tip when the owner came to fix the problem under warranty as the garage was making loud cracking sounds as it tries to open or close.

After a few months later, very loud cracking sound occurred every time the garage rolled up or down. When I tried to call them again, they completely ignored me as it was still under warranty. I had a friend called them, and immediately they called back. When I tried to call and left a message twice, within a week, Genuine Garage Doors completely ignored me and didn't even call back.

I came to the conclusion that they simply ignored me because they did want to fix the problem still under warranty. What a bunch of scammers. Again, this company will quickly service you and take your money, but if they did not install or fix your garage correctly (this could happen once in a while even for experts), Genuine Garage Doors will completely avoid you.

The followup and honest service under warranty is what separates a truly honest, integrity-keeping company vs. one that scams customers when service was faulty and needed to be redone because still under warranty. Thus, Genuine Garage Doors is truly the latter. Stay away from this company.

Mike came out perfectly on time and showed me what he was looking at/looking for. He maintenanced my garage door efficiently and professionally. Highly recommend.

Stephen at Genuine Garage Doors was awesome. First off, he always answered his phone personally and was willing to share his knoweldge before he even came out to do the work. Then, when he did come work on my garage doors, he was prompt, friendly and clean. Lastly and most importantly, Stephen did great work. He fixed everything easily (my garage doors had alot of issues) and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Genuine Garage Doors and will use them again if I have issues in the future.

I couldn't get my garage door to completely shut and a friend recommended I call Genuine Garage Doors. As soon as I called, they sent someone out to immediately fix my door. The nice young gentleman also mentioned he could install a much needed garage door upgrade. I'm taking him up on that offer! Wow! What an experience! It's one hour after I first contacted Genuine Garage Doors and my garage door is opening perfectly! My spring had broken and Stephen was able to fit me into his schedule and replace it. My garage door is quieter than when it last worked and I am a very happy customer.
