KC Plumber Pro is a small company that is owned and operated by a licensed master plumber. We take a great deal of pride in our work and strive to earn the long term business of each new client. Our main focus is serving the needs of residential clients throughout Johnson County and Kansas City. Instead of focusing on commercial plumbing or new houses, we focus on service work.
We enjoy opportunity to work with new clients and build new relationships. We do a lot of work in the newer homes which luckily doesn't involve drains too often. Our most common installations include water heaters, sump pumps, shutoff valves, and fixture installation.

Camera Inspection
Report
If you are planning to purchase a new home it's a good idea to have your sewer inspected by a plumber. A video inspection is especially important in homes that were built before the 1970's. Homes built in this time period will usually have a clay or cast iron sewer line. These older sewers often can have issues with root intrusion and will sometimes require yearly cleaning of the line.

Gas line
Report
Before you can add a gas line to your home you first must determine if your house can support the demand of the additional appliance. There are three variables that you must consider when determining gas demand and production. The incoming pressure of the gas is the first thing to consider. Most of the gas companies in Kansas City will set the pressure at.5 psi coming into the house.
Water Heaters
Report
A water heater should be installed in accordance with local building codes in order to ensure the water heater last as long as possible. Many cities such as Overland Park, require expansion tanks to be installed on all closed loop systems. We believe that Bradford White makes the best water heaters on the market.

My inside water supply shutoff wasn't working correctly. Mike came over and had it fixed in half an hour. He installed a higher quality shut off valve and did a great job. He was also extremely friendly--he clearly explained what he was doing and we had a good conversation along the way. Hopefully I don't have plumbing issues again for a while, but if I do, KC Plumber Pro is the only place I will call!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Chase not only installed the water heater with extreme attention to detail, he fixed an issue created by another contractor. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the install is outstanding. It's hard to find companies that will be honest, do quality work, at a reasonable price. Call them!

I called the guys at Quality plumbing to come fix my water heater because the pilot light will not stay lit. After a couple days it wouldn't even light. The guy came over, looked at the heater and told me I need to replace some valve. He left after being at my home for 5 mins and said he'd go find parts. He called an hour later that the parts are $500 plus labor would be $988.
He suggested I change the entire water heater for $1400! I could not believe it. I called KC plumber pro, they sent Chase Thompson out and he cleaned the lint that had piled up on the bottom of the heater and it's working! It cost me $60! Thank you!

We have had KC Plumber Pro out twice now, originally I looked for a company with a master plumber that was big enough to handle every kind of plumbing issue that can come up but was personal enough to have the same person work on your house from one call to the next. We were preparing our house for sale and needed to replace our main water shut-off valve.
Chase was able to schedule us in quickly. He was prompt, professional, and courteous, in addition to doing quality work for a reasonable price. We then had to have some other minor work done in response to a home inspection, and once again, Chase was able to schedule us in quickly, and arrived on time, and was professional and courteous. He works efficiently and communicates everything you need to know. I highly recommend him, and asked him for extra cards so I could hand out to my friends.it is rare to find such a reliable trustworthy professional!

I called KC Plumber Pro and explained our water heater replacement situation. Chase was able to give me a price over the phone. Their price is competitive and fair. He showed up about an hour after our phone call and started our project. The new hot water heater works great. Chase did a great job on our water heater replacement. I recommend KC Plumber Pro.

Chase came out to remove my busted old water heater and cap the water lines until installation of a new heater at a later date. He also educated me about my house's gas lines, humidifier and leaks in my furnace ducts. He was on time, fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Not much else you can ask for! 9/18 UPDATE: Chase installed my new water heater, explained how it functioned and provided additional helpful advice on my home's pipes and basement drain. The installation was quick, clean and quiet. Much appreciated!

We called KC Plumber Pro on Friday afternoon around 3 o'clock because we noticed that our water heater had been leaking all over the basement floor. The owner of the company came out within an hour of our call, a few hours later the water heater was replaced. Chase was very thorough in explaining how factors like our water pressure can have an impact on the lifespan of our water heater.
He also took the time to make sure we understood how to light the pilot in case it comes up in the future. He also replaced a questionable valve for our icemaker that was just above the old water heater. He did the repair without adding anything to our final bill. This is one of the best experiences I have had with a plumber and will definitely be using these guys again.

I needed my sump pump and water heater changed. I called KC Plumber Pro and within few hours, they were at my house. He went over the best options for me and came the next day to replace them. It's been a week now and I have no leaks or issues and I am totally satisfied with the promptness and professionalism that they showed on the job. Also, the price was reasonable. To summarize, KC Plumber Pro is fast, relatively inexpensive, professional and above all reliable. I strongly recommend them.
