Chris's presentation was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and stayed in contact throughout the installation. We had just purchased our home and had to replace the water heater, install a new AC unit and furnace, add in a return air vent on the second floor and two new ducts on the first floor. Chris helped us decide which units would best fit the needs of our home and family. All the work was done in a timely manner. He even helped us find financing to pay for the project.

Chris came out to our house to give us a quote on a new AC system. He was very personable and honest with us. He wasn't just trying to sell the most expensive package, he was trying give us what we needed for the best price. He arranged the install and had guys out within a couple days to hook us up. Mario and Ernie were great with the installation.

They came out on one of the hottest days so far this year and worked non stop to get our new AC in and working. They were efficient, polite, and answered all our questions. We will be using Bob Hamilton for all future home repair need.

Insane quote f $900+ )(. or a job that took my husband an hour and $12 to fix. We own several rentals and hoped to find a great company to work with. This was not that company!

I have used Bob Hamilton many times. They have helped me find plumbing leaks, and replace accordion drains. Prices and availability are reasonable. Workers are always professional, and give realistic options. I've never been disappointed by customer service. Today, Jose Mauro came to diagnose my AC unit and was on time, professional, explained everything thoroughly, and gave me the best options.

I've been literally been cleaning up after a french drain service for 3 weeks because I didn't let them bully me into a $23,000 sewer line replacement and had to insist they aug my main sewer line to clear a branch line that was connected to a different floor drain. They tried to tell me this drain "wasn't connected to anything" when in fact they probably broke it AFTER they pushed all the mud down from the exterior drain into it- it is absolutely connected to my sump pump and my basement is a complete mess.

Not to mention I also barely survived their AC tune up in record heat which froze my coil. No need to contact me, this company needs to re-assess their business practices pronto. Complete circus and my main contact didn't even show up or respond to my request for estimate of work. #hotmess

Austin Robinson was professional, friendly, compassionate of our situation, extremely helpful and informative. He went above and beyond in helping my wife and I including offering a possible financing option. Austin was not pushy and knew what we needed in our furnace and new a/c system. Bob Hamilton and its customers are blessed to have Austin. Your caring and empathy made us feel heard and comfortable that we were dealing with a true professional instead of a nightmare contractor. Horrible company. Had sewer lines replaced. They dented my siding. Broke a fence, broke a gate, and did not come back to grade after the dirt settled. They also cut two trees down but left the stumps and did not tell me. They could have easily pulled them up with the equipment they had. They dug the sewer up and then told me they could not locate the drain so they filled it back in. Then sent another crew out to dig it up all over again. I talked to them but they had the money so they ignored me. Do not use them!

Normally, I'm pleased with the service that I receive from Bob Hamilton, but today was a huge exception. I scheduled to have someone come check on our new air conditioning unit which we just had installed in this February. I had an appointment set for today, April 25, 2022. I called to verify that I was at home, and ready to receive a technician. I received a call at 12:44 PM (according to my voicemail) stating that I needed to call so they could send the tech.

I called back at 12:49 and was told that the tech had been sent to another job because I "took too long" to call back, and I'd have to reschedule for another day because they were completely booked! REALLY! This is truly horrible service! We've been service partners for years, we've had a new furnace, heater, and AC installed over the last 5 years.

I think we deserve better than this! I readjusted my schedule so that I'd be able to have the unit serviced today, and then I'm told that it won't happen because I returned the call 5 minutes too late. I'm floored! **************** This is an update to the review I posted two weeks ago. I called Bob Hamilton again today to schedule service to my AC.

Once again, I had my appointment rescheduled. I expressed my frustration about being rescheduled yet again to Annie, the rep who was helping me. She was very kind and contacted Heather, a Bob Hamilton manager, to try to escalate the issue. Heather contacted me about 5 minutes later and advised that I should not have been rescheduled a second time.

She immediately contacted Dispatch directly, and within 15 minutes Josh, a Bob Hamilton repairman, was at my door. He quickly diagnosed the problem (an issue with the wiring in the thermostat) and resolved the problem. What a relief! An 81 degree house on a 94 degree day, is no joke! Major kudos to Annie and Josh for their help! Heather was a rock star for us! God bless all of you for your help.

Requested appt 8 am Tuesday. Will show by 4. No show. Called told them not after 5 leaving. Middle of dinner out calls at6 they are there. Says we will be first the next day. No show. Waited till 530 showed up can't fix no parts says we need ANOTHER new unit. We bought a unit from them 9 yrs ago compressor went out after 4 yrs more money. Now the pi's is out again. Do not do business with these crooks.

Bob Hamilton gave me a service date and time for my semi annual AC/Check-up. They never showed or called with an explanation. Initially provided me with a 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm window. A half a day of wasted time, not exactly good service.

Since day one our experience with Bob Hamilton has been phenomenon. They are super knowledgeable, friendly and personable. They don't try to bs you into getting more things. They are good honest people. Thank you Alan for your hard work!

The plumbers were very professional, explained everything, answered all my questions, and let me watch/inspect things. I wanted to learn more about the plumbing issue I was having so I had lots of questions and wanted to see everything to learn. Pleasant, professional, and I felt like they were totally honest. One thing I asked about doing he gave me a quote but was honest and said he doesn't really recommend doing it. I also have this company doing my regular seasonal servicing now. Very pleased. Good family business values and service!

We called Bob Hamilton because our washing machine was backing up and spilling water on our floor. They came out very quickly, and the technician, Chris was very professional and nice. We also got lots of calls updating us on when the technician would be out from Jamie, who was so helpful and nice as well. However, beyond the incredibly nice and professional team members we worked with, I was pretty disappointed in the end result.

Long story short, the solution suggested to us did not fix the issue. We paid over $700, and still are having the exact problem that causes us to call Bob Hamilton in the first place. We'll have to have another company come out and resolve the issue. I wish we had known that Bob Hamilton wouldn't be able to fix our issue. We're pretty young and it really hurts to lose over $700 and still have to spend money with another company to get the issue fixed. Update: after Bob Hamilton left, we realized that the issue was actually worse, and contacted them.

To their credit, they were extremely understanding and responsive, and actually refunded us our money. While I still likely won't call them again, I am really glad that they treated us right and refunded us when we weren't happy. Heather, from the customer service team, was so nice and helpful.

Thanks for the invitation to contact your quality control person but I'll pass; this company has lost it's way and as a result lost me as a customer.

This company charged my 90 year old mother $750.00 to change a toilet part that cost $18.00 and only took 30 minutes. I have heard a similar story from hundreds of neighbors and friends. I wonder if anyone has used this company more than 1 time. I don't think so. I don't even trust radio stations that they advertise on. My mother passed away this year and now every time I hear that 913 jingle I get mad. Don't remember the 913 unless you want to pay 300% more for 50% of the job.

This company is expensive as plumbers go, but they do very quality work. I find the plumbers to be knowledgeable and skilled. My biggest issue with them is they have been a late cancel on me the last three times we have scheduled them. Their female customer relations individuals call and say "I'm very sorry we have to reschedule" while I've been waiting all day for their arrival.

When I talked with her (or as she said, it was someone else) at 10 am, she said she would know by 12:30 pm if they would need to reschedule. At 3:35pm, I am called to say they would not be there. I have made arrangements to be home for this scheduled appointment and feel my time is valuable. The woman telling me this has absolutely no remorse in her voice. It's as if she reading a script to me to apologize. When challenged, she becomes very impatient and slightly rude! We are a preferred customer which makes me wonder how they treat someone who is not a preferred client!

Install of new heater a/c completed today. Neat and well done. 10 X better than the old one. It feels warm in the living room now. Very happy with being warm. The team was great, answered all questions and explained everything.

Jared did a great job checking out the line. He was very personable and explained everything to us about the process. I highly recommend Bob Hamilton and I field at Jared is a great representative and asset for your company!

Angel diagnosed the issue quickly. When the malfunction was determined to be a parts issue he offered no complaints about turning the remaining work back over to the installer which saved us money. We're very appreciative.

Dave did a good job using the camera to identify the problem with my sink pipes. This has been an ongoing issue so I am glad that David was able to figure out what was going on. Great company. We had Mario come out to fix an issue with our Nest thermostat and Furnace. He was extremely honest and knowledgeable. Fixed our issue in under an hour. He also took the time to explain and discuss what was going on. Would definitely recommend this company solely based on our great experience.

Travis came to our home to solve an issue of no electricity coming to our master bedroom. He was very professional. As he entered our home, he immediately put on a mask and booties on his feet. Has asked great questions, discussed what services he was going to perform, and laid out the cost for us. He then went to work, found the cause of the issue, and made the proper repairs. I was very pleased with the service and will use Bob Hamilton again in the future.

Kudos to Stan, Steve J and Tyler M on the installation of my new furnace and AC. Stan was very informative about why and the kind of equipment I needed, and even came back on the day of installation to see that the work was progressing on track. Steve assessed the current equipment and determined how the new installation would be handled. He was extremely knowledgeable and it was evident that he had many years of experience. Tyler kept me posted as to what was happening and how long it would take.

He even removed a garter snake from my garage that had crawled in to get warm! These gentlemen were all professional, courteous and efficient. My work was completed in the time they quoted and most appreciatively, I had no cleanup whatsoever after they left. Bob Hamilton also installed my hot water heater last year and I will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. Thank you.

Matt Toll is a fantastic plumber. Yes Bob Hamilton's prices are more than some places. But every person that has come out is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They do the job correctly the first time and explain all the options, even those that don't require repair or do it yourself jobs. I have never felt uncomfortable letting one of their employees in my home. Matt installed a new water heater and then came out the next day to fix a faucet that had clogged.

They have always sent someone the very next day when I call for service. Matt took the time to give me some plumbing advice and explain how to fix some issues myself that I could run into down the road. He treats the customer as an equal and with respect, not condescending in the least. For the safety, professionalism, and super fast service done right, I am willing to pay the extra.

The same day Taylor, an electrician, came out on a follow up call to some electrical work I had to have done after the bad summer storm. He fixed the issues even tho they were not directly related to the original problem without charging me. Bob Hamilton is lucky to have both of these men as employees. Give them bonuses!

I had Bob Hamilton plumbing come out today to reseat a toilet that was rocking, and have a toilet plunger replaced. I felt it was a bit high for services rendered and received a call from Bob Hamilton within the day and we were able to arrive at a fair price for both parties. Kyle was great at fixing my problem and Chris was very professional. I'll use them again

Guy that came to the home was useless. Pretended to make calls to his supervisor about our issue and then passes the bad news to us. That they can't do anything. The guy did not even open up the ac unit to check it out. He put a tiny thing in front of our vents and said "the only option here is to upgrade systems, which will be about $4000" Totally disappointed and will never call bob again. Can't wait to see another commercial so I can talk bad about them to whoever I am with.

Every tech is a sales men. Their goal is to Upsell and get the most out of you so that they can get a higher pay scale on their commissions ladder. They get you by scaring you with all the potential things that can go wrong so that you will allow them to do the work.

A very friendly technician did our AC and furnace check a couple of weeks ago. We don't have any problems right now but we did have someone come and give us a quote, his name was John. He was very professional and no high pressure sales which we love. When we are ready we will definitely go with Bob Hamilton because of their initial no pressure sales visit.

They installed a new AC unit July 2019 at my home. Didn't do a concrete pad or level the ground correctly and now the unit is tipping. I asked them to come fix it but was told settling wasn't their problem and wanted to charge me $200 for them to fix it and maybe do it right.

I called Bob Hamilton for an air conditioning technician for a leak. The tech, came out and advised me that I needed one of their plumbers to come. So I waited another day and one of their plumbers came and told me that no, this is an air-conditioning problem. So Now I have to wait another day without air-conditioning for them to have another technician come out to replace the condensation tray Which I was told they won't actually do the work the day they diagnose the problem, so we're looking at 4 days. I used this company because I thought they had competent technicians. Very dissatisfied!

I called Bob Hamilton Plumbing because I have a kitchen sink faucet leaking and a undermount kitchen sink that is needs to be removed from my granite countertop and the area around the countertop and sink needs to be cleaned up and resealed and installed. The tech said that the faucet was tight under the sink and asked me if I wanted him to silicone around the base of the faucet, which I had already did.

Thinking I may have not put enough silicone around it, he remove what I had put on and applied his silicone and made a complete mess around the faucet. He told me I needed to contact the countertop installer to get the sink installed again. All of his statements were like he didn't want to do it. I know it can be done but requires 2 people. I knew there would be a trip charge which I didn't mind paying, but to charge me, which he called a level 1 diagnostic fee.

It seemed to me either he didn't know what he was doing or just didn't want to do it. so I paid quite a bit for nothing but new silicone which can be bought for around 10.00.

Service man was good but led me to believe that there was a lot of work to do the job. I was just out of the hospital and needed the upstairs shower drain fixed because it leaked in my kitchen. I ended up helping him do the work even though I was in pain. He didn't have all the tools he needed like a ladder or channel lock plyers so I went to my neighbors and borrowed theirs.

Why wasn't there anyone he could call? It ended up being a simple fix in 3 hours max but I was charged over$2200. I complained and was told they would send a supervisor to my home but nobody came. Bob Hamilton ripped me of!

Couldn't recommend less. Hired them to winterize my home and they didn't do it correctly apparently because when we turned the water back on there was 24 breaks in our pipes that cost us over $2,500 to hire another plumber to fix. We called and this Company's response was that any pipes could just break (24 times?!), even when winterized correctly which I don't find to be true

They have a problem with the truth. They claimed in their responses that Crazy Bob Hamilton had sold them the company and he had nothing to do with it, blah, blah, blah. Now that election is over and Crazy Bob lost bigly, they are now using him in all their commercials. I don't do business or trust a company that blatantly lies.

I highly recommend using this service they are friendly and efficient and thorough they stand behind their work

(8th review of 2021) Host at our Airbnb called them to fix the heater. Michael came out & was quick & brought the right tools to troubleshoot the problem. So far so good. Hopefully it was only the compressor (aka battery) he replaced that was for the fan. The other company came out twice before & didn't look at the compressor. Told us it was dust burning. Michael said dust doesn't burn like that & wasn't the smell. Said it was the fan motor straining. So he replaced the "battery".

Bob Hamilton came to auger and video scope our Main sewer line. They had said that the main line was clear of debris and fine condition based on their inspection from the scope. We had to have a different company come out and pay another fee to have our scoped because the people buying our house wanted the actual video and Bob Hamilton does not provide that.

The second company that came out found that part of our main sewer line had collapsed and now we have to re-place that portion of the line. Bob Hamilton never reported this to be an issue. So not only did we waste $150 on their inspection but their inspection wasn't even accurate.

Charged 2600.00 for a hot water heater installation. I asked several times for an itemized receipt, but they never gave me one. The hot water tank id $900 on line, so they charged 1700.00 for an hour of labor. Was told by text that a manager would get with me. they never did. DO NOT use these guys. Way over priced. Also, i have a water softener and they said the salt can ruin my water heater. NO SALT GOES INTO THE FRESH WATER. ITS ONLY USED TO CLEAN THE CLEANING BEADS. I WOULD TASTE SALT WATER IF IT DID. THEY JUST WERE TRYING TO SELL ME THEIR WATER SOFTENER BY TRYING TO SCARE ME. WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY.

Excellent service! I really like the different options presented to me on the repair. Well knowledgeable team arrived to complete the work. Everything completed very fast. I was extremely impressed that once quote was given, the team was ready to do the necessary work right then and not giving me the we'll schedule you next week scenario. So impressed, as I have been previously with the Bob Hamilton teams. Final note, the needed repair costs were not astronomical, very reasonable!

We have had Bob Hamilton for almost 18 years. Electricians are excellent. Mario / Corky 5 stars! The plumbers are great and though we have had a bad experience with one before, he is no longer with the company. Receptionist are always sweet and send good reminders! I had previously given 3 stars due to a very bad experience with a plumber and his manager but I had to update the review as my last couple of years have been excellent! In fact we have a very competent electrician working on our lights right now!

Got the $99 main drain and camera "deal". Upon camera inspection I was told my main line was definitely broken and would be backing up again soon! Quoted that it would need to be replaced at a cost of $3,500 minimum up to $8,9XX. I got a second opinion and had the line cleaned out again with another camera inspection. Low and behold the line looks great and doesnt have any breaks in it. The second opinion cost me $220 and saved me thousands on work I didnt need done. Always get a second (or third opinion) and don't trust these guys.

Ok so I posted a picture of the little piece of pipe that the BH plumber who came out put in my drain. BH Plumbing is trying to claim that was in there from before, but that's not true. It was a small leak when we called which turned into a total blockage when BH announced they needed to replace the whole pipe. When I called another plumber, they found the piece of pipe.

I don't believe that was in there to begin with because then the guy from BH would have found it and that would have solved the problem, but your guy didn't find it. That's because he put it there.

Saturday morning I called Bob Hamilton Plumbing because my dishwasher started to leak all over the floor. We had a clog in the kitchen sink. BHP said they'd be out Saturday. That was great news, so I didn't call a competitor. Later they called, and I was told it would be Sunday morning. Sunday at 11:00 I called because I hadn't heard from them.

They told me they weren't making it out Sunday and it would be Monday and they would call. So Monday of course I didn't hear from them. I borrowed a snake and through many hours of effort, I was able to clear the clog myself. The problem has been solved, and there is no clog or leak. I didn't call BHP. I've been curious how long it would take them to call - they never did. Honestly I have no real evidence that BHP even has plumbers, because I've never seen one.

I have, however, seen the commercial for Bob running for office a dozen times. Bob Hamilton Plumbing has lost my business and my vote. Is 'no stars' an option here?

I called Bob Hamilton in a Saturday needing a drain snaked and a camera scope. The woman told me they could get someone out there the next day, and wouldn't charge for the camera since we've been without plumbing for weeks getting screwed over by other companies. which I appreciated. Finally had a glimmer of hope after a ridiculous run around with several other companies.

I received an email confirming my appointment and was told someone would call with a heads up when on the way. I stayed home waiting all day and finally called at 2 pm asking if someone was coming. I was told nobody had picked up the shift yet. okay. didn't know this was an up in the air appointment since I got a confirmation and wasn't told that. 4:00-4:30 rolls around and I call again.

Ask again if someone is coming. I was told the camera person called in sick. I asked why that wasn't told to me in the beginning since I have wasted an entire day waiting for someone that wasn't showing up. I told them to cancel the "appointment" that was made. He told me he wouldn't cancel it but just put it on hold so I could call back. That won't be happening. Just another company I won't ever be calling again right with Calvert plumbing and Ready services.

I should have done my research before hiring Bob Hamilton to do minor plumbing work at my home. I needed two drains snaked (bathroom and washing machine in the basement). First things first, I never received a quote for this work until the plumbing technician arrived, and he told me it would be $300 per drain + $50 labor. I had taken off work to be there for this service, so I had no choice but to oblige.

After snaking the basement line, the technician told me that he thought the line was broken somewhere, but they didn't have any cameras small enough to fit the pipe so the next step would be to cut up our basement floor - excuse me? Yeah, I'm not cutting up my entire basement floor without knowing IF the line is broken and WHERE it is broken.

The tech then quoted me $22,000 to jackhammer the basement and replace the line that *might* be cracked. I had to stop myself from laughing out loud when I saw the quote in front of me. That's more than the price of my car. Does anyone ever fall for this? After sharing this quote with a few friends and family members, we realized quickly that Bob Hamilton is known for ripping people off with outlandish quotes. We will definitely not be using this company again!

After receiving quotes from 4 different companies for a standard sink/ Garbage disposal install, I am shocked and appalled to report Bob Hamilton's quote came up over $1100 OVER the next highest quote. Not joking, The quote from Bob was $1590 and the next highest was $500. The other two quotes were $130 and $290. What bothered me most about this interaction is the Plumber from Bob's insisted the prices were standard across the board. I will never even call this company again. Should be shut down

Same day service was acceptable. The tech was very quick and friendly. Dispatch fee was reasonable at $79. Compressor would not start and solution was, as I expected, replacement of the capacitor. BHP had replaced this capacitor before. The technician quoted an additional $435 for the capacitor, which was shocking. As I was cold, I agreed and decided I would never use BHP again.

The system was quickly up and running. The part installed retails for $30 and literally plugs in. An internet search reveals a reasonable charge (over the dispatch fee) would be $150-$200. The service response was acceptable. The technician was excellent. But based on comparisons of similar service, the price was very high - about 50% more than typical/customary.

Called to get pricing on getting a light fixture installed in a high ceiling. On the phone I was told the charges would be $65 and then a labor cost but that no quote could be given without seeing the property. The labor cost was $1000+. Don't worry, I was still charged the $65 call fee. Waste of time for everyone involved. Here is what I did wrong: I called late at night which I'm (now) assuming goes to a call center not associated with Bob Hamilton. Since no real details were shared, I should have just moved on to another company or called back during business hours.

Our wonderful new years day courtesy of Bob Hamilton. On a routine maintenance yesterday, the technician broke our furnace ignition, spliced it in with a different part rather than fully replacing it, left it sitting on the circuit (surrounded by dust), and didn't bother telling us anything happened. As icing on the cake, they can't waive the 130$ holiday fee without a manager, who obviously don't care enough about their clients to be on call while imposing such a limitation. So it's either pay someone to fix what they broke, or have a very chilly holiday. Brrr.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience! The job turned out to be much bigger than expected, but they stuck with the original quote and came all the way to Lawrence as many times as needed to do it right.

Installation went well initially a year ago. They gave us a great deal and the warranty was second to none. I had three other offers and Bob Hamilton did everything in their power to win our business.

Our family noticed we had several running toilets. Ushers Sunday recommended Bob Hamton Plumbing, (BHP), so after reading their online recommendations, I called Monday after 7 a.m. for an appointment.

Huge expensive home repairs (especially unexpected) are the bane of the homeowner. Chris Seagraves did a masterful job of talking through the options of a new heating and cooling system, and helped me make wise decisions to improve the value of my home. Bob Hamilton has great people, well trained and professional, and offers a nice range of options.

Corky Williams. That's all I have to say! We were in a cruddy situation where our furnace and A/C needed replaced, weren't happy about it and by the time that Corky got done walking us through the purchase of a new system, we felt very confident about it. After the install, we couldn't be happier with the selection and service from Corky Williams.

Richard D. was the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendly plumber I have ever met. He unclogged our drain quickly, gave honest answers to our questions, and offered useful tips which made a lot of sense.

I had a major blockage in a branch line, probably from food going through the kitchen sink garbage disposal. Called Bob Hamilton. They had someone out in a little over an hour. I explained the problem, showed him where I had a clean out and he set up to run the snake and clean things out.

Worse job ever done at my house. Drew D. Came to my house to tune up the furnace and air conditioning, which involved checking AC unit, furnace and some what of a clean in the outter parts. This did not happen.

Jasen Hamilton is the Lakebrink Dental heroooo! We had a sink that was leaking really bad during our office hours and Jasen came to our office to fix it all up that day! He had noticed that another piece of our equipment had been leaking as well and went above and beyond to find a replacement part.

Communications were great and timely. Heather was absolutely perfect, the best I've ever had. She reviewed the problems and the options to addressing them. I chose to address all the problems which she addressed and completed.

Chris Seagraves was the salesperson who facilitated our new heating/cooling system. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the options in lay terms that we could understand. He was patient and helpful and has a warm upbeat personality. When we had followup questions and concerns, he was readily available by phone, text, and email.

We recently had our furnace and A/C checked out to prep for the coming winter and soon realized both units needed to be replaced. We had the team out to survey and set us up they same day and the job was completed by 4pm the next day! Very professional and friendly team and a special thanks to Farhad and Farshad Mohazabrad to a job well don on the install!
