These guys were fast, knowledgeable, and saved us thousands of dollars on fixing our AC. We had originally gotten a quote from ARS rescue Rooter for $13,000 which essentially replaced everything (coils, unit, etc.). For less than $300 these guys identified a leak, fixed it, cleaned everything out, and everything is working great. Would recommend them highly!

We returned home, the Thursday before Labor Day, from an extended trip to find our central AC running, but not blowing through the house. Seeing as it was 81 degrees and humid in the house at 10pm, I called ARS as they advertised 24 hour service (bear with me, I promise this isn't an ARS review). Since the only thing that was in fact open 24 hours was the call center, I scheduled a $100 diagnostic appointment for 8 the next morning and resinged myself to a hot, sweaty night of tossing and turning.
The technician who arrived the next morning was prompt and courteous, but delivered bad news. Apparently, the blower fan motor had died, and the replacement part would have to be ordered, and installed 4 days later on account of the holiday weekend. All to the tune of $1000. At this point, the tech recommended we consider replacing our aging system entirely. Looking for a second opinion, I called Mickey at West Star, who postponed vacation plans to come and check out my unit.
He agreed that the blower fan needed to be replaced, but was able to locate a replacement part locally, and 45 minutes later had our AC back up and running. The icing on the cake: Mickey and the West Star team was able to get the $800 replacement part for my covered under warranty. I simply paid the installation cost. West Star truly goes above and beyond, and will be my first and only dial for future heating and cooling needs. Thanks Mickey and West Star!

My AC unit was hit by lightning on a Wednesday night and the house was 95 degrees when I got home from work Thursday afternoon. It was the hottest part of the summer and both my AC and furnace had to be replaced. I called for help and was able to get Micky on the line immediately. We had to jump through some hoops with the home owners' insurance, but Micky was helpful and patient throughout the process.
Best of all, my heating and cooling systems lasted 20 years and then only had to be replaced because of a natural act of God, so I wanted to replace them with something just as durable. Micky was able to get me set up with a solid pair that should last at least as long as their predecessors. I couldn't be more pleased.
