Our AC didn't work and called Progressive serive. They came in the next day and did through check and give us very detail report for all the issues and the price tag for each phase of the fix/replacement. Marcus came out and immediately diagnosed the problem. He was kind enough to educate me and answer any questions I had. At one point he even drew a diagram of how my plumbing worked so I could understand it better. Gave great suggestions on what I can do in the future to make my plumbing issues easy to deal with. Chris Distel came out to our home to give us a quote on installing a new heating and air unit. Chris was great, he was courteous and knowledgeable of his product. Especially appreciate the fact that he placed disposable booties over his shoes, without even being asked, before he entered our house. He explained how our system works and what options we had for replacement if we decided to go that way. When I needed a quote for a water heater replacement they were quick to send a person out but after days of calling they never emailed me an estimate. I tried three times and each time they assured me someone would be sending it but it never came. Maybe I have been an anomaly but this is pretty terrible bureaucratic customer service and communication.

Late arrival without a phone call, not the first time. Parts that were going to be replaced with the original price quote were not replaced. Poor communication, what you request over the phone does not get transferred to the techs work order. Manager needs training on how to professionally address customer concerns. What you see on their tv commercial is not what you receive.

Had Progressive install a complete HVAC system for my upstair less then a year and a half ago. Last week, the morning of the snow/ice storm my unit quit working. Once roads were clear a tech came right out. Within minutes it was determined the thermostat installed had went out and it was a common issue with that model thermostat. It was replaced under warranty but I was still left with a $95 bill for them coming out.
Should I be stuck with a $95 bill for a faulty thermostat they put installed? I didn't ask for the thermostat that would die with in a year in a half? I am conflicted how I feel about the situation. All in all the tech was awesome and the lady who scheduled the tech was awesome. 5 star for customer service every time I deal with Progressive.

I am converting an electric range to a new gas range(that includes a conversion kit to connect to my existing propane tank). It is about 50 feet to my propane tank in a straight line through an easy access crawl space. Estimator said pretty standard situation. Quote was $2332 total with no breakdown for costs of labor, materials, permit, . inspection, etc.
Office staff and estimators that came out were very professional and I was able to get an appointment quickly for an estimate. However they do not give even a ballpark quote over the phone. You have to pay $59 for an in-person appointment. Estimate came back quickly but only as a total sum with no breakdown. Everyone was very professional but if I had known that it would likely be over $1000 I would not have wasted their time and taken my time off from work.
The estimator that came told me that most people are surprised at the cost. Recommended because they were very punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous but I did not hire them.

Electrician came out to troubleshoot breaker. Ripped out smart switches that now don't work. Left switches on the floor and faceplates off everywhere. Sent a bill for almost $900 for less than 4 hours of work. (no materials). When I asked for a detailed invoice because there wasn't any and that was obviously a rip off THEY SENT IT STRAIGHT TO COLLECTIONS!
It hasn't even been 30 days since the appointment. I never said I wouldn't pay even though they left it worse than they found it. I just wanted an explanation as to the crazy amount. Cancelled my service plans with them and will NEVER recommend them again.

When a customer explains what the problem is (clogged toilet)and asks for a breakdown of the fees, they usually want the answer in a nutshell detailed. When a customer then gets the $190.00+ quote for service from that contractor and then asks the details again, but gets a response that it's just the flat fee for service - you are still in the wrong.
When you are a service repair contractor you are just a "guest" in a person's home, to perform a service, so your level of professionalism should be at the highest form. Once I stated my opinion of the price of service, you should as a "guest" just agree to the services and reassure their quality even at their price. At no point of time, should I be told "shop around then" and proceed to head out of my bathroom as if you are the homeowner.
I then proceeded to tell this contractor the proper way to communicate whatever you are thinking you are saying is in poor taste period. as I was escorting them out on the front porch, I further explain to this contractor that he does not need to tell me to "shop" around, I'm the homeowner what else is new - that I know I could do. Went with another company, got top notch service, and they "replicated" the problem - because you know that's your job.
This business will not get a dime of money from me, nor referrals - I will also blast this around on the next door app, and within our community since I can. Times are tough enough, your attitude is not welcomed here - we are not desperate.

Progressive has done a lot of work at my townhome- over $9K in all in the last 6 months. They cleared Out my sewer line ( over $1K) in September and charged my debit card. I received an online invoice with a zero balance. Imagine my surprise when a month later I was debited $1K again for the same service, without any notification! Apparently the technician put my credit card in wrong by one number and it took them a month to figure it out.
Because this was taken out of my debit account without notice, I bounced several checks and had other issues with my debit account. I called Progressive and did not even receive an apology. I was told that management would call me, but they never did. Buyer beware! If you use them do not allow them to put your credit card "on file."

Enos ( very good as he diagnosed and fixed the issue I had)came out to repair a leak that was caused one of your other plumbing technicians Frank who installed our toilet and failed to use the proper wax ring resulting in a small leak in our bathroom which has resulted in the entire flooring in bathroom and part of master bedroom flooring needing to be replaced along with bathroom vanity still not long I will be without a bathroom but I am sure Progressive will cover all costs to fix Frank's mistake I am giving you 3 stars only because of Enos' excellent professional service and as repairs have yet to be completed I will reserve my recommendations to anyone else

We went all winter with no heat except from our fireplace because I wanted to find a company that cared about their customers, their work ethics and their employees. We went with Progressive Service Co to do the HVAC system. The unit I had just didn't work for almost 4,000 sq ft. From start to finish, Reggie G, Mitch, Jonathan, Caleb, Robin G, Lisa B took on this job.
They made us feel at ease and Reggie told us not to worry. He assured us the team that came out would do a great job. They have been courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. When they were done, they cleaned up even the smallest speck of dirt both inside and outside! Mitch saved the box from the thermostat with all the instructions and then Mitch walked me through adding the App for my thermostat to my iPhone so that I could control the unit from anywhere.

Telephone customer service - a bit rude. Service guys were very nice BUT after 2 visits failed to diagnose the problem with my water heater. Second opinion and several hundred dollars later noted that it was a simple leak and water heater just needed replaced under warranty. I spent almost a month with variable, if any, hot water and a lot of money trusting their diagnosis of the problem. Would NOT recommend.

I called late yesterday afternoon to see if someone could come fix a toilet with a deep clog. They answered after hours, clearly explained the process and fees. This wasn't an emergency so we opted for a. routine appt. Chad arrived THE NEXT MORNING promptly between 8-8:30am and afternoon thoroughly explaining the steps to resolve the issue, he finally found a toy ketchup bottle deep in the pipes.

I have used Progressive 3 times for plumbing issues and was curious if the HVAC service would be as good. It was! They worked me in when my AC failed and William Taylor was wonderful. He fixed my thermostat and gave me lots of good advice for maintaining my heating and ac. I have had nothing but great experiences with all my service needs.

Purchased a toilet from Home Depot and they assigned this company to do the install and removal of the old and while my experience with Home Depot this time was decent they guy that they sent was not very much in a mood to work. I ended up being his helper, handing him paper towel etc. He had a hard time removing the old one that I was planning to donate to Habitat for Humanity and he ended up breaking it, oh well there goes the donation and of course he didn't care.
One star for breaking the old and one star for refusing to calk around the base of toilet. He said that when on the ground floor he is not required to do it. I said just lazy I could have taken another star for leaving black markings on opposite wall done with his big shoes but this time I will just wipe it off. Had I hired them maybe it would have been different.
It is convenient to do everything in one stop but I won't ever buy this combo again. Installer won't make the effort to preserve reputation because it is backed by Home Depot so you are really in limbo. Next time I will do it myself and save 134.38

They were supposed to show up to disconnect our sink because we are having our countertops redone. They no-showed, despite me calling them *three* times. Most of their representatives were very unhelpful and just didn't seem to care. I had to do the disconnect myself. I am extremely unhappy with them, canceled my scheduled reconnect with them, and will never use them in the future. I suggest you do the same.

The technician couldn't figure it out and since they were going to charge anyway flipped the breaker on and stripped some wires and replaced the wire nuts even though there was nothing wrong with them. Days later water heater again is not working and I check the wires he touched and they sparked and smoke came flying out. Called them again and get yelled at by the technician that it's my fault. Horrible horrible experience! ! Then they send someone else out to see if something was done wrong, and they looked for a way to charge me again.

I should have read the reviews on YELP about the overpricing from Progressive Plumbing. When I called to set up the repair to unstop a toilet, I asked for a price range. Was told that she did not have access to that information. I stated that I understood if there was a bigger problem-all I asked for was a range. Technician came out with a trainee-gave me a price of $200.00 and let the trainee unstop the toilet which took 10 minutes.
I asked the technician to check to make sure everything was clear but he refused-said it was fine. He proceeded to tell me everything he has every pulled from a toilet. I called another company after they left and got an estimate for half the price. Lesson learned-always get an estimate and not call Progressive again. Did call to voice my displeasure for the overcharge, but was told that was the price-no apology or thanks for your business.

Worst service experience ever. I don't recommend their service to anyone. They disconnected my dishwasher for a countertop installation followed by a reconnection service. After the reconnection, they didn't test my dishwasher water supply. When I tried to start my dishwasher after the service for the first time, I noticed it was not working because of the water supply disconnect. I set up another appointment to get it fixed and had their promise. But they never ever showed up at my place to fix their mistake.

So I can't speak to service, only price. I called Progressive to install a kitchen faucet (why can't plumbers give estimates over the phone. like at least a range). I had a general idea of pricing from Lowe's and expected a much lower price. When the plumber showed up he quoted a MORE than double price. I promptly overacted and indicated I would pay the travel fee($59.00) but minus tax.
I called two other plumbers and eventually paid less than half of Progressive's quote (including travel fee). I, perhaps would consider contacting Progressive in an emergency case, but it pays to shop around. I will say Shane was kind and courteous.

Cody C. installed a new hot water heater for me and he did a great job! He and his apprentice partner were over in the morning to evaluate the 13/14 yr old broken unit and within a few hours we had purchased and installed a new system. He was fast, very clean, efficient and friendly. I certainly do not anticipate any problems with the new hot water system, but if there are any issues, I'll definitely be giving Progressive a call and hope Cody is the guy on the job. From scheduling with their office through the entire repair process they were very professional and easy to work with. Unless J.Christ shows up to do the work, nobody gets five stars, period. That being said, Ken was top notch from first phone calls and texts to his mobile after 5-6 pm to thanking him today for the hot water heater installation on a Saturday. He was a consumate professional in both his attitude and behavior. He told me he was under 25yo and it shocked me; not b/c of looks but his professionalism.

I had received a new microwave through my home warranty company and after 2 months, they refused to install it because there was tile behind my microwave and the companies they contract with would not drill through tile. Seems odd that is even an issue. I cant be the only one with tile behind my microwave. Progressive was able to fit me in quickly, understood my frustration and assured me they would be able to help. Progressive Service Company installed my dishwasher that I ordered from Lowe's. While my experience with Lowe's was a total disaster, Progressive took it upon themselves to pick up the slack. They proactively reached out once they received my install order letting me know they were coming out. I can't remember who I spoke with, but she was very professional and made me feel better. Lowe's had communicated two false delivery dates and had me order hoses that I did not need (just some of the issues). Anyways, Marcus C. called me about the third day delivery/installation letting me know he was scheduled to come out (this was the actual and only date BTW).
He let me know that Lowe's did not have my order, but once I gave him my order number, he took the time to find it, pick it up (Lowe's had it in another store!), and finally installed the dishwasher. Marcus C. was so friendly and professional throughout it all and I really appreciated him taking the extra steps. He's a true professional!

We had someone come out to install a sink (a Lowe's package service). My Husband was home for the service but reported back to me that the technician had a bit of an attitude when he arrived. Specifically when he saw that his other colleague gave too low of a quote! He then took our sink out and said the new sink was too big by half an inch - we are not sure why this was not addressed during the quote.
He then walked out to his truck, got in and called his manager who proceeded to tell him not to cut the counter top (its a formica counter) and that we had to cut it or they had to get someone who could. Currently we have our old sink half ass reinstalled so its functional and the job is not complete. We are not happy at all with both the technician and the company/customer service.

The installers took over 8 hours to do a job that should have taken them about 3-4 hours max. They spent more time on smoke breaks than actually working. The work they finally completed was good, but I would not recommend them at all. They were also very expensive for the time spent. I give 2 stars for the workmanship and cleanliness only.

The toilet has been leaking for a month now and this company fails to return any of my calls or refund my money. Progressive was called as secondary help for dishwasher repair called into my home warranty company. About 30 minutes before he arrived, I discovered puddles of water in my hall closet - significant leak had occurred. Tim O. didn't hesitate to address both, even dealt with the home warranty company to authorize on-the-spot, and called in the Progressive restoration team to assess/handle damages.
He then went to work, fixed all identified leaks and showed me where/why pipe leak occurred. The plumber Progressive sent out to my home was the best. Name was Cedric. He was very knowledgeable in regards to my plumbing problem. Not only that, he was so very nice. Either his mama raised him right or Progressive trained him for their company well. Either way, great service. Highly recommend.

Uros and Ronnie installed our new Bosch gas stove top. Both gentlemen were courteous and cordial and worked efficiently and effectively. They were quick to ask questions or point out situations we were not aware of. For example, we replaced a down draft vent stove top with one that did not have the down draft vent. Removal of the old stove top revealed a hole where the old vent exited the house.
These service providers went left and came back with a metal panel to cover the hole and installed it for us. They graciously carried the old stove top away for us. Thanks to Lowes for sending them and to Progressive Service Company for a great retail experience.

We purchased new toilets from a Home Depot and contracted for installation. We were contacted within 24 hours and scheduled the install. I received an email and a phone call on the morning of the install to let us know who should be doing the installations. The plumber, Rivers, arrived on schedule and completed the job in a timely manner. He was very pleasant young man and did a professional install. Would definitely recommend them.

A senior electrician came and measured everything and he noted that I would need a HVAC person as duct needed to be installed. After this they submitted to Home Depot that the installation would be at 95$. So I submitted additional 30$ after the initial 69$ that I paid Upfront to home Depot for the work to start. Then the electricians came and said they were not informed vent had to be installed and they cannot take up the job since a vent and duct needs to be installed first and the company would submit a new quote to Home Depot.
After this Progressive submitted a quote of additional 465$ for finishing the vent and duct work. At this point I just lost faith in this company and Home depot, both were trying to run a scam on me. I hired a general contractor who installed both the hood and vent with duct for 125$. I am disputing both the 69$ and 30$ with my credit card company as no service was provided only a tonne of notes were taken and even that was not properly communicated.
