Same Day Appliance Repair

Rudy Cano was the tech that came to check out my refrigerator. He was very professional and checked it out. It turned out that it had to do with the computer board at the back top left. He checked for a replacement and found that it would be a 1-3 day delivery. I had a top freezer black refrigerator. He checked with store and they only had white or stainless.

I said I will check with my brother regarding ordering the computer. I had explained our dilemma. In the meantime while waiting to hear from my brother, I checked for a black refrigerator. I found that most had only white or stainless. After hearing from my brother I called him back to order the computer. Upon that call, he said they had 2 black side by sides and didn't know if I was interested in a side by side versus top freezer.

I said yes. He said okay, sent pics, and said it could be delivered that day. Due to our dilemma he made it happen. Damian and Renee delivered. However, we had a problem with the closure of the left door. They both worked on that to no avail. Damian and Renee helped tr a Nefertiti food to new. After that noticed problem with icemaker. Ricardo came the next day in the afternoon, worked on the door, went and got parts for both door and icemaker. Ricardo evidently fixed both. Called on Saturday about door but when my brother came by, I was trying to show him the problem but miraculously, it was working fine, and has since then. Rudy Cano made everything happen, was professional, very nice, , heard my needs.

All the others, Damian and Renee (Delivery Personnel, and Ricardo(the technician), were very nice and professional. Thank you to Rudy, Ricardo, Damian, and Renee, Nelly, Vanessa, Mercedes, the Boss, (and anyone I left out) from Same Day Repair and Houston Appliance Center. Thank you. There was no need to run out to get ice chests and ice to transfer food to.

The one delivered has been on in shop and still cool. Thank you to all and at this time all seems all working good. Also, the refrigerator was in pretty great condition. Thank you.

As the Area Director for a senior home care company that won the Houston BBB Award of Excellence for superior customer service delivery, I only work with companies that have also won that award as I understand what it takes to earn that dedignation. I contacted Same Day Appliance Repair at 7am this morning and they scheduled a technician to arrive between 1-4pm.

The technician, Edgar, arrived at 1:15pm and was most courteous and professional. He was most knowledgeable and thorough. Edgar performed the repair and was on his way in about an hour. I was most impressed with my entire experience and, should I require appliance repair service in the future, I will contact Same Day and request Edgar! Great job!

I've used Same Day Appliance Repair before and was happy with their service last time in fixing my dishwasher. We had a different technician come out last time but he is no longer with the company. The gentleman (Rudy) that came to check out our ice maker was professional, and he was able to replace it the same day. Our ice maker was making a clicking noise each time the ice was dropped into the bucket inside the fridge.

We would have to manually open and reset the ice maker for the noise to stop. Rudy gave us a quote of $210 for the ice maker and then $200 for labor. The labor seemed a bit high but we were pleased with their service last time and knew they would do a good job. He provided a brief discount for us if I provided a review.

We have used the services of Same Day for approximately 5 years to fix problems with 2 refrigerators. Each time we have had an issue, we have had Sam Sales, the technician, come to our home to make the repairs. He has always given us good advice which resulted in saving money and he has done excellent repairs. We like Sam because he is kind, knowledgeable, honest, and does excellent work. Usually, there is a lot of stress with having a problem with a refrigerator. But, knowing that we can call Same Day and ask for Sam to come really reduces any worries.

He comes quickly makes the repairs immediately assuming the parts are available. We highly recommend Same Day; it is nice to have a reputable company to call on for good service.

Rudy was stellar! We had an issue with our dryer and contacted Same Day to get someone out and fix it. Rudy was prompt, courteous, and got the job done expertly and quickly! Really appreciated the job well done and wouldn't hesitate to contact them in the future if any other appliances need to get fixed.

If you are looking for a reliable company, who sends out knowledgeable technicians, this is your company. I have now used Appliance repair service on three occasions, with three different technicians, and they all knew their stuff. They got the job done right the first time. Priced fairly and worth paying a little more for a company that warranties their work. Not a Micky Mouse Company - they consistently provide EXCELLENT SERVICE and I will continue to use Appliance repair service in the future.

I contacted Same Day Appliance on Sunday 02/20/2022 afternoon to request service because my Maytag dryer was not drying my clothes. Bummer right! Well, the dispatcher got my information, contacted a technician that was servicing my area and voila! he would be at my home on Monday, 02/21/2022. She even honored my request to make the appointment time for the afternoon as I am a caregiver for my husband and mornings are hectic. Unfortunately, I did not get her name at time because had I gotten it, I wanted to let her know how impressed I was by her cheerful disposition, courteous relay and replies throughout the call.

She made me feel like I mattered. Awesome customer service! On Monday, the service technician (Angelio) arrived promptly 20 minutes prior to the appointed time. I was elated. He got to work and walked me through everything he was testing. The part in question had to be taken to the shop for further testing and Angelio assured me that he would return later in the day.

I received a call from Cassie from dispatch with a message of apologies from Angelio as he was not able to return that day because the appointment following mine ran long. She explained that it turned out that the part from my dryer tested ok. Angelio would be going to the warehouse to get another part and if it was available, he would come directly to my home.

I asked if she would let me know in the event the part was not in stock (due to shortages as a result of the pandemic) in case I would need to purchase another washer. She assured me she definitely would. Again, awesome customer service! Tuesday morning, 02/22/2022, I received the call from Cassie who, first apologized for waking me and informed me that Angelio was on his way to the warehouse to get the part needed.

I assured her that no apologies needed and requested a call to let me know when he would be on his way. She cheerfully promised she would. Minutes later she called back with the good news the part was in stock and he would arrive within 40 minutes. True to her word he arrived with not only the part but another just in case. Now that's proactive thinking!

When all was said and done, I am one happy customer. Did I tell you I am happily drying my clothes without having to go out and purchase another dryer? Kudos to Same Day Appliance for employing such awesome people. Personable, professional, going above and beyond and caring, Cassie and Angelio you made this experience one of the best. You followed through every step of the way and for that I am grateful.

A very personable technician came to my house late afternoon (which I requested due to my not being home until 4:00 p.m. weekdays) about 2 weeks ago and diagnosed what was the cause of a very loud noise emanating from my dishwasher, He explained that the pump was going bad, and because the parts and labor would be rather pricey, he recommended I purchase a new dishwasher.

A new one would run me literally only a few bucks more than the current repair cost of my existing one. I gave it some thought, as the current unit WAS working, albeit quite loudly. Well, within a week the dishwasher no longer was able to drain, so I contacted this company again to see what was the issue this time. Their serviceman told me outright that the pump finally went kaput.

They didn't charge me for this second visit, and the serviceman informed me that he would install the new one AND haul away the old one for a reduced cost. He quoted me a very fair price, and today he is scheduled to arrive after I get home. Quick service that's also affordable is what I've been receiving thus far, which is why I have rated this company 5 stars. Lastly, I will add that the persons with whom I've been dealing have been very polite and helpful.

I am truly amazed of how our technician Rudy was for our first request for service. I had the privilege to see great team of professionals from the answering service to the technicians explanation of the problem. I felt comfortable to ask questions to be shown what to look for. Above all I felt like I had options no pressure to commit just let me decide how I wanted to take care of my issue.

Do not use this company. I had the problem diagnosed with a little internet research. Tried to hire a company to do the work because I didn't want to spend 2-3 hours doing what a professional could do in 30 minutes. Told the technician 3 times what the problem was, he did not listen. Charged me an $80 service fee and left me a $397.96 quote for a new sump motor.

Don't need a new sump motor, the recirc. system was blocked. I took it apart and cleaned out the blockages myself. The dishwasher is working fine. Called the company to complain never heard back. I got scammed out of $80.

So Thankful to have them come out and fix my dryer so quickly. They arrived on time and were in and out. I will definitely be using them again for any future issues with my appliances. Service: Repair dryer

Wouldn't you know, two days before Christmas and my stove stops working. I called, Hilish came out and checked it out. He found it was the bake igniter that went bad. I have an older model Maytag stove so he had to call around to find the part. I heard a loud, "YIPPEEE", and he told me he found the part! He said he would pick it up and comeback to put it in. He got the stove working and we are back to baking!

As their name suggests, they came out the day I called (day after Thanksgiving). Hilish was very professional, diagnosed the issue with our dishwasher and ordered the necessary part to repair. He picked up the part Monday morning and my dishwasher was fixed and running by midday. Very timely and would highly recommend. Service: Repair dishwasher

DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE. Repair technician came to diagnose water dispenser non-functioning in Samsung fridge. I was given $400 cost estimate to replace water inlet valve. I explained to technician that water filter does not seem to have air-tight connection in the housing and may be the reason for the issue. I ordered the water inlet valve from Samsung store on Amazon and replaced the water inlet valve myself.

The water dispenser still does not work. when I called them so that technician can have a second look at the water filter housing, they refused saying they can't touch an equipment which have been serviced by client.

Came out three times to repair our fridge, never actual fixed it permanently. They said their work was out of warranty, and a another attempt would be another service charge. They at least honored their warranty twice after their initial attempt to fix the fridge and came out for free both times.

Called on a Saturday and they weren't available until Monday. Came to the appointment and identified the compressor as the problem. Quoted me $1200, stating that Freon was super expensive right now. This was double the amount of two quotes I had previously gotten from other companies. I declined the service and paid though appointment fee, the technician started to leave without reattaching the back panels to the refrigerator. Would not recommend.

Great experience with scheduling and repair of dishwasher. First of all - Saturday service! Got a confirmation call 30 minutes before and they made sure I got it. Alex came on time and was thorough and transparent - found out what the problem was immediately (from broken glass), gave us a price and time estimate, and was spot on. Reliable and very reasonable. Used them for my dryer and now using them for my washer. One of the things that I like is the hours and they are open on Saturday. Definitely recommend them without question.

The technician was at my house within 15 MINUTES of my phone call. He had the part, the price was good and the work don't quickly and correctly.

Called this morning, because my dryer was squeaking extremely loud. A tech named Alex showed up. He was quiet, but friendly. He diagnosed the problem and changed out the pulley. He also cleaned the dust and lint in and under the dryer. Fair, fast, honest!

Dimitri was our technician, he was very pleasant and informative. He explained everything clearly followed through on his word. When he came to do the repair (part had to be ordered) he had it finished quickly and cleanly. Super satisfied with his work. Dealing with the front office was a great experience as well. Mercedes was most helpful answering my annoying questions and putting my mind at ease.

She was very professional and made follow up calls to make sure things were done. I hope I dont need repairs again but if I do I would most definitely use their service again. I would highly recommend them! Thank you for your great work and kindness

I have used Same Day Appliance for years at my home and my rental property. They are always on time, courteous and efficient. I would recommend them highly. They have repaired my Subzero refrigerator, my under the counter Whirlpool ice maker, my 15 year old DCS double oven and range, and my Whirlpool dryer. Their follow-up is great too.

Thanksgiving weekend & my oven quit heating! When I called, the customer service agents were extremely polite and helpful. My appointment was booked quickly, for a holiday weekend! Our technician arrived within the allotted window and completed the repair in less than 30 minutes at a fraction of the cost to replace the unit (which I had already resigned myself to do)!!

These people are so honest. They could have charged me a few hundred but instead changed me a service fee of $49.95, took a long time on my washer and told me how to keep my washer working. This is great because I'm in huge debt and I didn't tell them that. We have a nice looking house and probably look more affluent than we are.

Yesterday morning, water was accidently poured out on my gas range and it quickly destroyed three of my five igniters on my gas range. My first thought was that I would need a new range. Fortunately, I listened to my wife and she suggested I contact John Moore Services first to see about a possible repair. I called and was told they didn't repair ranges, but RECOMMENDED Same Day Appliance Repair. WOW!!

Here was a company recommending another company. I called and two hours later on the same day, the technician arrived, temporairly fixed my gas range where it could be used until the tech arrived the next day (today) with the new harness. I could not be more pleased with the service I received. Also, I just saved about $600.00 by not having to replace the unit. When I needed help with our Ice Maker, I called and Gina answered. It was the 3rd company that I had called. She made me feel important and that the work would be done in a very timely and professional manner. After she took my information the repairs were completed the same day and we are very pleased with the work done.

John Williams, our repairmen, arrived on time, was friendly and quick. He immediately made the repair and gave us a few recommendations. I had previously used another company that had already come out twice and failed to make the correct repairs.

We found SDARH on Craigslist and selected this company over several others due to the positive reviews. After our service call today I can not say enough good things about Oswaldo! We were anticipating a very expensive stove repair and after some brief maintenance work (which he explained thoroughly and taught us how to do ourselves) everything is working great.

Quality Good I had a problem with my Microwave and called Same Day Appliance Repair of Houston and they were out within 4 hours and fixed it right away. Alex was the repairman and done outstanding job. I tip my hat to Alex.

Honest Service I called Same Day Appliance Repair when my refrigerator wasn't cooling. They walked me through a few trouble shooting steps and it was working the next day! Didn't charge me a penny. Thank you!

I used this company last year to fix my dryer and two months later is broke with the same exact problem. Called back and the guy said he fixed it and should be good for a long time. Needless to say, the day after my year warranty expired, it broke down again. I would have written an testimonial on their page but I saw they don't allow for open testimonials (wonder why). If you don't want to have to call again and again, or pay for the same problem twice, I would recommend another company.

Same Day Appliance repair was just as advertised. Sam showed up ontime, and quickly assessed the problem. He gave us very fair quote. He had to leave to get the correct parts but quickly returned and completed the repair. I will definately call them again and recommend them to everyone!
