We are centrally located minutes away from the Galleria at 5850 San Felipe ste 500, centrally located near Memorial, Highland Village, the Galleria, Downtown, and Rice Village. We employ a full time service staff with over 20 years of combined experience in the kitchen appliance and service industry-we are available to assist you servicing your home appliances.

Anthony was fantastic! Came in and diagnosed and fixed within minutes. Also diagnosed a second issue within minutes too. Did a thorough job of explaining the problem and solution.

Finally was able to have our ice maker repaired. Should have called Uptown to begin with and probably wouldn't have had residual issues. They were very responsive and able to work on it the next day! Also, Anthony, was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and troubleshooted right away and really understood what was going on with our ice maker. He was attentive and did a wonderful job! I hope to not need repairs in the future but I sure know who to call if we do!

After a moment in time, the vent hood motor made a terrible noise. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Uptown Appliance Repair and dispatched a technician, Adrian, to examine the vent hood. Adrian quickly diagnosed the problem, which he determined that a new vent hood motor was needed. The motor was ordered, and Adrian and another technician, Anthony, came out and installed the new motor. A motor mount was also fixed, and there is no more noise and vibration from the vent hood. Thanks to Uptown Appliance, Adrian, and Anthony!

The tech was Oscar and was very courteous and pleasant. Clearly knew his stuff. Probably not more than 15 min to open up machine and figure out the problem; diagnosed the problem to which unfortunately, per Off Mgr Bobby (whom was also pleasant and efficient) replacement parts were no longer made thus my washer couldn't be repaired. As such.since they couldn't fix it.they didn't charge for the service call.very professional in my view. Most excellent service and interaction.

Tremendous professional service. Anthony the service technician came on time. recognized the problem immediately and solved the issue in no time. Throughout he was very professional, well organized and had all the tools to hand to complete the task quickly. If Anthony is the calibre of all the technicians I would highly recommend Uptown Appliance Repair without hesitation - well done!

I scheduled an appointment for today and they claimed that they rung the doorbell but it was not true. They argued with me that they did. Anyway, I asked them if they were going to come in today to fix my appliance and they flat out said NO that it would have to wait on MONDAY. I told them that I needed it today and they would not try to work with me. Interestingly yesterday when I made an appointment the lady offered to come the same day. I called another company and within 15 minutes they arrive to my house and fixed my appliance. The service call was way cheaper.

My dryer has been acting funky for a while now and David from Uptown Appliance came to check it out. He was professional and on time. He diagnosed it almost immediately as an issue with my exhaust vent. Unfortunately, they don't provide that service and referred me to a different company. The office called to let me know they weren't going to charge me for the service call - WOW!

That's outstanding customer service. I have a diagnosis now and can get the right repair. I recommend Uptown Appliance and will definitely use them in the future for any needs I may have.

Service was amazing. I called on Monday, Uptown Appliance came on Tuesday to diagnose the problem, I approved the quote that day, the parts came in on Wednesday, and the repair was complete on Thursday. This was on a 15 year old dryer so I was really impressed that it was that fast to get the needed parts. Carlos was incredibly professional and efficient. I am very impressed!

Carlos was the Technician they sent to repair a wine cooler as a part of a home-closing. He was fast, kind, explained things clearly, and seemed to really know how to get things fixed - or to get the help to be sure there wasn't another thing to look at before he ordered the part. The office called quickly for approval to order the needed part.

It came in the following week. Carlos came back and did a great job getting the cooler working. Thanks to Uptown Appliance for relieving some stress and getting this handled so fast.

Scheduling appt was quick and easy on phone. Very courteous. Technician arrived on time and answered all our questions. Rapid email with our estimate. Received call when parts arrived and scheduled service call. Repair quick and call to check on satisfaction with process followed. Very professional and courteous in all phases of repair process. Really appreciated they were not trying to SELL us new appliances.

Our technician, Anthony came out for service on the oven and was able to complete the job in a timely manner. He was very courteous, kind, and knowledgeable about repairing and maintaining the oven. I recommend using Uptown Appliance Repair for your appliance repair needs. They were quick to reply and able to send technicians out in a reasonable time frame.

Appointments were quick. Both the diagnostic tech and the repair tech were polite and competent. Both respected the COVID guidelines for masking and distancing. Prices are high but I figure I pay a premium to avoid having to do the work myself. Warranty for the work is acceptable for the cost. Would use them again in the future.

I have not had the best experience with appliance repairs but the folks at Uptown Appliance changed all that! These folks really understand customer service - from the office folks to the techs. Everyone has been so nice and super efficient! I called about my dishwasher and they had a tech out within a day. Needed to order a part and to my shock, they had the part within a couple of days and completed their service. I highly recommend using these folks!

The owner contacted me and did refund the service fee which I really appreciated since I had to end up buying a new thermador dishwasher from Best Buy which wasn't even needed. It ended up being a bad grounding switch my electrician found when we plugged the old dishwasher back into a different electrical outlet. All in all, spent $2,100 for a new dishwasher. Selling the house so I guess we add this to the list of upgrades.

Uptown Appliance Repair provided great service on our 5-year-old GE dishwasher. Carlos was very knowledgeable and provided service at a fair price. The part came at the earliest date, they called to schedule the repair appointment, everything was on time, professional, friendly. and all my questions were answered and the tech made sure I was totally satisfied before he left. I'll be using Uptown Appliance Repair on all of my future repair needs. We have high-end, multi-branded appliances and need professional, knowledgeable people to service them Uptown has this down! Very, very happy!

Over the last few years we have required repairs on our dishwasher, Viking range and refrigerator. I found Bobby at Uptown Appliance and have used them exclusively. They are honest, reliable, go over and beyond, and a total pleasure to deal with. They warranty their work and I have been pleasantly surprised at the reasonable charges for the repairs.

Our latest was an issue with our ice maker filter light staying on. Max came out for the repair, and of all the staff (who have consistently been a pleasure) Max gets the gold medal. After running diagnostics he suggested a new/different type of filter, which he said he would order. Max left and 5 minutes later rang the doorbell. He had sat in his truck and researched the issue, fixed it and said we didn't need a new filter. And my service call was at no charge. I am SO happy I discovered Uptown Appliance!

I would like to complement one of Uptown's employees, David Reyna. After numerous attempts to fix our freezer, including the replacement of the central fan, David recognized that the issue was a simple clog in the drain line that was affecting the fan, ice production, and normal functioning in general. It was a quick and easy fix for David and we very much appreciate it.

The technician had no idea what was wrong with my ice maker. He called someone who he said "was very knowledgeable" about such machines. Diagnosis, replace the entire wiring harness for $900+; I can buy a new one for slightly more. A pure guess for which I get to pay $100+. Nice gig if you can get it! Turns out it's a loose connection, machine is working great! These folks need more qualified technicians.

We highly recommend Uptown. From the moment their office staff picked up the phone, we knew we were in good hands. The office staff understood the urgency of our problem, scheduled a technician the next business day, and radiated kindness and professionalism. Carlos the technician arrived on time, wore covers over his shoes, and was knowledgeable and polite.

He diagnosed our issue within 10 minutes and explained it with the utmost clarity. He provided valuable insight into the mechanics of front-load washers and the different brands. Both he and the office staff explained that the severity of our washer's issue warranted the purchase a new washer and proceeded to waive their technician fee. We truly appreciate their honesty and generosity. Uptown will be the first business we call for all of our appliance repair needs.

Initially, I was happy with the service I received on my Thermador range. However, after they fixed the problem that I called them out for, the knobs for the stove would not operate properly. They came back out and told me that the knobs were fine, they hadn't moved anything and there was nothing wrong with where they were positioned. I had to get Thermador out here for $200 to fix what should have been an easy task for the technician.

The Thermador technician was 100% confident they had removed the front panel and not reinstalled it correctly. The UA tech did not take ownership of the issue and ensure my happiness with the service. Within minutes of posting this review, I received a phone call from the owner. He addressed all of my concerns, paid for the Thermador visit and told me how he would follow up. That is exactly the kind of response I was looking for. I will give them business in the future and appreciate Bobby's honesty and ownership of the problem.

Disappointed in the service received by Uptown Appliance Repair. Even though the technician was on time at the beginning of the service window (which was appreciated), he was rude and didn't clearly communicate with me. He roughly handled our expensive Viking Range and left before he even made sure the oven was working properly after fixing. He was in and out of our house in 30 minutes and I was charged $300 for labor, which is exorbitant based on the little time the technician spent fixing our range.

We noticed the knob that was replaced was the incorrect color, but unfortunately the technician had left before we could tell him. At the end of the day the oven was fixed! Update: First thing the next day I got a call from the owner, Bobby, and asked how the service was and after explaining the situation he offer a sincere apology based on my experience. Bobby went above and beyond to remedy the situation and to make sure that I was completely satisfied with the plan moving forward.

I really appreciate that the owner taking the time to reach out and hear my experience, which not many companies do. An additional part was found to be defective during the servicing of the oven and will call Uptown Appliance Repair to fix this issue as they are truly focused on provided great customer service!

My experience was beyond bad. When I called to schedule an appointment I asked if they were an authorized Maytag service provider and was told yes. Only later when I called Maytag after all of the problems described below did I find out that they are not. Totally incompetent and unprofessional. My 6 year old top of the line Maytag washer had a slow but steady drip from the top of the tub.

The tech who came out to determine the problem left water in the tub. He had determined that it needed a new valve. When a different tech came out to drain the tub, he switched the hot and cold water connections which was discovered later by different techs. When Bobby, the owner, called to give me a price to replace the valve, he said the part was $250+ and labor was $200+.

I approved it only to find out later that the valve costs $47 from Maytag. The part came in and two techs came to install it; when they left I went to do a load and saw that it was still dripping. Obviously they had not fixed it. They came back and couldn't figure out what was wrong. A third tech showed up and was able to fix it by switching the cold and hot water back to the correct connections; but, in the process, the detergent compartment was dropped and broke.

I heard the drop and went in to see what it was. The techs said it had dropped but failed to tell me it broke. They left again and I went to do a load. That's when I discovered the detergent compartment was cracked. I was able to turn the machine on, but it started making a very loud noise. So I called again, and the next day two different techs came out to fix the problem and determined it would cost more to fix it than to replace the machine. It goes on and on. I highly suggest that you not use Uptown.

Called Bobby yesterday for help with my LG gas range/oven. He was able to service it this morning. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him the next time I need help with an appliance.
