Luis silot is probably the BEST plumber I have ever seen. He has many decades of experience. He installed a new toilet and put in a toilet seat on another one for me. He was on time, didn't rip me off, was informative, motivated, and worked hard. I don't want to say how long it took but it was an expected amount and he didn't run the clock for more money.

Luis Duero came out, diagnosed the problem and began fixing it right away. He was prompt, communicated with me before and during the service call and was very honest. I will call Doug Orr with all my plumbing needs.

I needed a new tankless water heater. I called several plumbers and each one of them tried to upsell me and charge me more than what I wanted to spend (even after I explained how much I could spend). I got frustrated reached out to Home Depot who put me in contact with Douglas Orr plumbing and had my tankless water heater installed the next day. All the other companies wanted me to wait 3 or more days knowing that I had zero hot water in my home. Billy arrived on time, was very nice and professional and did the job quickly. I'd also like to say that Mary in the office is also a very knowledgeable, kind and helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this company. It's hard to find good employees these days and wanted to make sure I appreciated the extra steps they took to help me the next day!

Great experience with Douglas Orr. They were reliable and quick to respond. Nathan came to the apartment and he did a terrific job. He is professional and knows what he's talking about. The only con I have about Douglas Orr is they charge $160 just to come and inspect. I would prefer a lesser rate, and then an incremental charge based on the work that needs to be done.

In my case, it turned out that he just needed to adjust my faucet to fix a leak. Either way, I would use them again because it's hard to find a technician who has the right skills to do the job.

Randy Morales came out within the time frame. He did what needed to be done, he did it swiftly, quickly resolved a little bump in the road, and kept my rate based on time to a fair charge. Couldn't be happier with this company and this technician. five stars all the way! highly recommend!

Contacted company which is being used by Home Depot, for no response. My water heater was leaking 7 days before christmas and I needed it fixed. A business is successful if you have good staff. This staff was rude right out the gate, Kaitlyn. I sent in pictures request and never got a quote. Called Home Depot for another company and they assured me I would be contacted. New Years eve still nothing! I got Peters Plumbing and it was fixed in one day! Don't waste your time with Douglas Orr Plumbing.!

Last week we got a water bill that was 9 times what we pay monthly. Water and Sewer said we needed to have leak detection done on our property. We called Douglas Orr Plumbing. When the came out, their Team was professional and skilled. Their pricing was fair and their report is helping us navigate the over-charge. We highly recommend them.

I had Cesar come to my house in Miami Springs. He called to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, he was very courteous and knowledgeable. He unclogged my garbage disposal and was very professional. Then he went to my bathroom and replaced my flapper. Thanks to Caesar, now my garbage disposal and toilet are working fine. I was going to have a new garbage disposal installed, but Caesar told me it did not warrant replacement and saved me $134.00. I'm very happy with Caesar. He was great!

This is my 2nd time using Douglas Orr Plumbing and both times they've been awesome. They were able to schedule someone in less than 24 hours for a non-urgent toilet leak. Eddie communicated clearly what he was going to do and walked me through every step. He was especially patient despite the chaos and excess bureaucracy my building's association imposes on contractors.

He was courteous and respectful of mask mandates at all times. I'd be glad to have him out to do more work in the future. I wish I could remember the name of the previous guy who came out, but he was similarly professional, courteous and did a great job with my kitchen sink / garbage disposal. He was extra thorough in checking to make sure there were no leaks after he finished his work.

My experience working with other contractors in Miami has often been chaotic, with people going silent on communications, and even simply not showing up after being scheduled. These guys are rare professionals. Thanks again to everyone I've interacted with at Douglas Orr.

I had a clogged toilet which happens every once in a while. They sent out a service man named Harry ( who never knocked on any door to make us aware that he had arrived). I found him trying to open an abandoned outlet and I told him he had to go on the roof to snake the leak which is what is done every time for years. He refused to get on the roof and proceeded to use the outlet by the street.

Though it worked for a day after he left I was forced to call on a Saturday for an emergency as he did not use the correct form. He also charged me for an hour and half and explained he had to drive from Weston to get here (something I was never charged before.) The gentleman that came on Saturday went to the roof and did clear is once again and all is fine now a couple of days later and over $500 this time.

I called Eddie. the service manager, and he said out of the $800 he would discount 120 though i wanted to split the difference (over 400 dollars), he refused, but that was because Harry shouldn't have charged me for travel in the first place and probably not letting you know he is there helps with his defense. This was once a fine fair company that we always depended on but will now look for another business in the area. What a shame.

Called and booked an appointment for low water pressure in our Sunny Isles condo. Plumber was no show, no call, nothing. I called at 5pm and re-booked the next day (first mistake). Plumber came, asked my tenant a few questions and left. Diagnosis was I needed anew PRV (pressure regulating valve). Did a quick google search and found the valve could be adjusted, called to ask if the plumber could return and they agreed but would charge another $150.

I filed a Visa claim and got a refund. Turned out when I hired a competent plumber the PRV was fine, I just needed new faucet cartridges in the two bathrooms. Two months later they submit another UNAUTHORIZED charge on my Visa which will also be refunded. This is a dishonest, incompetent operation. Buyer beware!

I have used Doug Orr for the past 15 years, and I only have great things to say about them. When dealing with clogged drain pipes I know I can call, count on them to show up quickly and do quality work the first time. They have not failed me once in the past 15 years. They sent out someone who tried to turn a 20 minute job into an 8 hour job. I had to tell him to leave and it still took him another hour to do an invoice. I realize that his intention was to just be there because he wanted the day off or didn't have any other work. It cost over 450$

IT GETS WORSE! They continue to charge my parents for coming to repair the same thing. I think this is so unfair. I'd appreciate recommendations for a plumber that respects that elders may be on a fixed income.

Called afterhours, Sunday, and followed prompts for emergency and left a message, was quickly called back and the person gave me good information and quote, I agreed and she put me in the queue, two or three were ahead of me so took about 4-5 hours, Ryan called on his way and again when he got there. He explained all my options and we agreed on what work to do for now to stop the leak. Took about an hour and cost was very reasonable considering work on Sunday. My second time using Douglas Orr and will use again for sure. I highly recommend them.

Great service today to install toilets and fix shower valve. Service Tech Jonny gave me a quick call this morning to let me know he was on his way and arrived as expected. Amazing service, advised on repairs and didn't just do what was asked. And he walked me through the COVID procedures in effect at Douglas Orr. It's reassuring and much appreciated. Awesome service

Wanted to thank Orr Plumbing for the excellent customer service that they have been providing me since 2016, old house and recent home. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They have always exceeded my expectations and are quick and efficient. Not once have they gone past an hour and the price provided over the phone is always what I am billed after the job is done.

Great job. Had them come out to change the fill valve today, 06/24/2020, on one of my toilets. It was fixed without issue and the tech pointed out that the water supply tube was not up to code. Had him change the supply tube of all three bathrooms. Total work time was under an hour. I was billed what I was quoted plus the supply tubes. Excellent job. All CDC guidelines were followed!

Professional and fast service! I had a major pipe leak in my Miami property and my tenants were concerned as the issue escalated pretty quickly- Douglas Orr was referred by a friend so I took a chance; as much as I hope to not run into another major issue such as that one, I'm at ease knowing I have a reputable plumbing service I can count on for any issue going forward.

I have had several bad experiences with this company, and still decided to give them a second chance and well, lesson learned. Besides the extremely high pricing, their customer service department is all over the place, untrained, and overall incompetent. After two calls and several emails, I finally got a response after 5 days, to which I am initially met with being interrupted while I'm speaking and just the worst attitude. I can't stress this enough. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY

Extremely professional. I was able to schedule an appointment with them for a water heater repair on the very next day at 7AM (I was offered a time on the same day- but it didn't work with my schedule). On the first phone call the estimate was clearly given to me over the phone. David R. appeared the next day at precisely 7AM. He explained to me the repair process in detail and asked if it was okay to go ahead with the repair.

After an hour or so his repair was completed, the water is incredibly hot now.which is a good thing for us as some of us like baths instead of showers. David cleaned up the work area, and it was like he was never here. Also gave us some pointers for a future bathroom renovation. The cost of the repair was the exact same as the estimate on the phone. Douglas Orr is a very old player in this market and is one to be trusted when you need it to get done right on the first try.

Absolutely horrific company. Plumbers are not professional. Extremely expensive. Dishonest invoicing practices. Called 2 times to follow up to an inspection and they never responded. Glad I completed with a different company.

I made an appointment in advance with Douglas Orr for today. They didn't show. I was given the window of 9-12, and yesterday they confirmed and put my credit card on file. They told me that the plumber would call me 30 minutes in advance of arriving. I arranged my schedule to wait for them. They never called. They never arrived. I called them after 12 to inform them of this, and to not bother coming out.

The funny thing is that Douglas Orr is based only a five minute drive from my house in Miami Springs. they have a lot full of trucks right there. That's why I called them in the first place. it seems a safe assumption that they would be a good choice for this area. We've been in this house for 25 years and never needed a plumber, but I always considered I'd call this big neighborhood company if we did. I should have read the Yelp reviews first. apparently others have had the same experience, and far worse.

The worst plumbing company i have ever had to deal with. Original inspection of the issue took place on a Saturday where i was charged a ridiculous amount for overtime. The plumber suggested i should purchase the individual parts from Home Depot as it would be more efficient then ordering the parts. After doing that i had to wait approximately 4 days for the companies so called "estimator" to send me an estimate of the total repairs which consisted of 3 bullet points.

After approving that we scheduled an appointment for 9 am they arrived at 10 only to leave after 10 minutes because they were not fully equipped and came unprepared. They then came back after 5 hours late to the original appointment and did not finish the job. They basically up and vanished after completing 1/3 of the job and i had to call the service center where they gave me the corporate run around. Will never use their services again. I don't blame the individual plumbers, i blame the company as a whole for its lack of professionalism.

Although none of my problems needed urgent repair, I decided to check Angie's List and call one of the A rated companies. I called Douglas Orr Plumbing. My home in Miami, Florida, was built in 1968. They advised me that it was unlikely that I could have the repairs made on that same day, but I could schedule an appointment the following day. That worked fine for me.
