From the bitter cold, north climate to the hot, sultry south, Robert Nicholls, owner of The Mechanical Man Heating and Air Conditioning, has been sharing his more than 38 years of hands-on experience, knowledge, and expertise in both the residential and commercial heating and air conditioning industry with his colleagues and many clients.Robert started in the HVAC industry in 1973, spending 15 years working for Honeywell Controls and the development stages of West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada. His desire to start his own business and live in a warmer climate brought Robert and his family to North Carolina.

Tighten all electrical connections and measure voltage and current on motors. Faulty electrical connections can cause unsafe operation of your system and reduce the life of major components.

The Mechanical Man installed and maintained my HVAC equipment for 12 years. They usually do anything I request on the same day if a repair and within a day or two for routine maintenance.
