On top of that you will be married to your unit for the next 10-30 years, so very personal indeed. Choosing the right company, as well as the system, for your needs is the first important step of this process.

We are pretty glad that we choose Alps. -=-Quote Process-=- Allen Puig is the sole reason why we chose Alps for our house. From day 1, we never received any of the sleeze or deception that is pretty common in this competitive business. Everything was honest, upfront, and in writing. We received 5 different quotes from other companies, and no other company contained as much technical and contractual detail as Allen's quote.

It's also important to note that Alps was not the absolute cheapest quote we received, but decision was made based on every other important factor. -=-Installation-=- Gustavo, Lazaro, and Alexis was the 3 man crew dedicated to our house and it was all done within a day. They were very mindful of our babies' napping schedule and any work within the house.

The resultant work was very clean and so sweet looking. I was given a walkthrough of all the work done as well as any basic controls. We've been enjoying our AC for the last couple weeks and it's been a delight. If anything were to go wrong, we would know that Alps will definitely follow through.

After a month chasing for service, finally a technician in the name of Lucio Estrada shown up and gave us excellent service. Danny Segura was not professional and left the job incomplete. Thanks again Lucio for your help and honesty. David

I've used ALPS for a few years now and they are reliable and honest. Never forced to do any unnecessary work. The technician would advise if something is still in decent working condition and recommend a timeframe of when it should be worked on. Also, get the annual membership as it helps save on the annual required maintenance. ALPS membership includes one around fall/winter (Heat) and another around the summer (A/C) plus a discounts. I definitely recommend ALPS for all your HVAC maintenance.

About 5 years ago, I had my whole HVAC system replaced (including ducts) by Alps. Since then I have been on a bi-annual service contract and have been more than satisfied with the service I've received. Luckily there have been no real issues once everything was dialed in. Joey was my first point of contact in purchasing my system and I can't speak highly enough of him.

My service tech for the last couple of years has been Alex, and the same goes for him. I actually request him every time I make a service appointment. Give Alps a try, I doubt that you'll be disappointed.

We had an issue with our older iComfort thermostat. We Contacted Alps heating and air, they dispatched a service person out a few hours later to diagnose our issue. The thermostat was still under warranty, so they replaced it for no charge with an Upgraded newer model. The only charge was a service charge. Nate was the technician that came out for the diagnoses and replacement of the thermostat.

He was polite, professional and respectful, including with helpful hints with our new iComfort thermostat operation. This company had installed a whole new heating and air system for us about 5 yrs ago. We would recommend this company to others who are in need of a new heating and air conditioning system or repair work.

We could not be more pleased with our installation of a new heater and air conditioning in our home. Everyone that we dealt with at Alps Heating & Air Conditioning was very professional, friendly and capable. The subcontractors that they used to upgrade our electrical service and remove our old ducting were great as well. The crew that actually did the air and heat install were amazingly efficient.

Each of the three individuals knew exactly what their role was and performed their duties seemlessly. The office staff at Alps was also very friendly and coordinated the install in a very timely manner. From start to finish it took 3 days. A BIG plus is that out of three bids that we obtained to do the job, Alps was the lowest! It is also worth noting, that all of the employees that we dealt with have been with Alps for many years, so the owner must really appreciate them and treat them well. Don't hesitate to at least get a quote from Alps for any of your HAVC needs.

Paid about 12k to have a new heater, AC unit, condenser, thermostat and HVAC ducts installed. Two days after completion I noticed a leak in the ceiling in my sons room. Crawled into the attic. Condensation line leaking. Called. Came out and fixed. Asked about repairing my ceiling. The owner and office staff were hostile. Said the leak was pretty-existing.

So they're not liable? Uh. I'm no HVAC expert, but it seems like assessing the condensation line should've been part of the initial check? I know the line was fine though because all the insulation had already been removed and I SAW IT prior to them touching it. I'm pretty sure, based on what I saw, that they nicked the line installing the HVAC DUCTS.

Once the install was complete- I was present- NOBODY GOT IN THE ATTIC to check everything once the system was started up. This is BASIC. Somebody should've been up there. Ultimately. Regardless of the condition of the line prior to the 12k I spent, it should've been assessed pre-install and after start up. I finally gave up trying to deal with them.

I still need to get somebody out to fix my sons ceiling. Also I'm not sure that all the ducts are attached or even sealed correctly since the airflow in one of my bathrooms is minimal compared to the rest of the house. Disappointing. As a single female I'm always ready to be spoken to and treated like an idiot. Which is exactly what the owner did in response to HIS teams mistake. Avoid.

Alps Heating and AC initially installed a new Lennox AC and Heating unit in 2014. The whole experience, from installation to yearly routine maintenance has been wonderful. Every employee I have interacted with has been knowledgeable and helpful. I love their motto, "How can I make you smile today". They do just that. I highly recommend them.

The ALPS team installed an heating and AC system in my house and I am very happy with their work. I mainly kept contact with Joey Gibellino and he helped me through the long process. He did not try to present the cheapest and quickest installation. He carefully went over all options and helped me decide on the best value for my home with all the features that wanted.

They moved the heating unit from the garage into the attic and installed an new Lennox unit in my backyard. Joey was straight-forward with the information and I felt confident that I was given all the right information. The price was more than I budgeted for, but felt good about the capability that was added to my home. The installers were fast and efficient, and answered all the questions I asked. The courteous team included Jorge, Walter, Erik and Alexis.

We used Alps Heating and Air Conditioning 2 years ago to replace our furnace and had such a good experience that we called on them recently to replace both of our ancient air conditioners. As before, our representative took his time in helping us make a decision on air conditioners that we were very comfortable with. The team who installed the air conditioners was excellent.

They were friendly, unobtrusive, informative and kept all of their stuff organized and picked up. When they left, they took all the trash. We even found the office staff to be very responsive and quick. We'd definitely use Alps again and we'd recommend Alps to our friends, family and anyone in need of heating and air conditioning services.

Got estimates from at least 3 other companies to replace my broken and outdated system. Every time another company would give me a quote they seemed very pushy and untrustworthy. Something just didn't seem right until Collin came through and was extremely transparent and upfront about every single thing. When our AC unit broke in the heart of August Collin, Enrique, Lazarus, and Jerry were a fantastic team! The price was great, they were knowledgeable, professional, punctual, kind, and quick. They covered my carpets, helped guide my AC to the right spot, showed me thoroughly how it worked, cleaned up properly, explained everything new for me, and treated my dog, my kids, and my home with the utmost respect! We had a complete HVAC system installed at another property and it's been working beautifully. They were great to work with. This time, my air conditioning was not cooling and they came out and did a very thorough I mean very thorough examination of my system and came up with the fact that we did not have any coolant in our system.

Technician Alex Veramontes was very courteous and knowledgeable. He took one look and knew exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem. He explained what he was doing and took time to answer all my questions. Alfredo was the technician. He was professional yet very friendly. He told me exactly what was wrong with my heater and what my options were going forward. I was totally surprised when he told me the charge for his services because nothing is that inexpensive anymore! Two other things I really appreciated about this company - a representative from Alps kept me apprised of Alfredo's whereabouts and when he would be arriving so that I didn't have to guess as to what time within the two-hour window he would show up.

It's too bad more companies don't adopt this practice so you can go about your business until the tech shows up as opposed to wasting time waiting around for 2 to 4 hours until the doorbell rings. Also, I liked the idea that they text you a picture of the tech who will be coming to your house along with a short paragraph that describes him. This way you know who you're opening your door to and inviting into your home.

This is a thoughtful level of protection that someone like myself - a single female, appreciates. So if you are looking for a class-act company with reasonable prices and expert technicians to service your heating/AC, Alps Heating & Air Conditioning is the place you want to call!

We were in need of air conditioning installation and our heating unit was original to the home. We called several businesses. We were quoted ridiculous prices! Colin from Alps exceeded our needs with a very reasonable estimate. A lifetime warranty for service and parts was included. Gus, Alexis and Jerry S did the install. They were clean, fast, explained everything that was done.

They stayed to make sure both heating and air conditioning worked properly. At the end they explained how and where the filter is and other mechanical pieces. We are super happy customers and whole heartedly recommend them! Thank you Alps!

I highly recommend Alps. When we needed to replace a really old furnace and install central air conditioning for the first time. Joey Gibellino, Assistant General Manager, promptly came to our home. He didn't oversell or recommend things we didn't need. Alps coordinated the asbestos removal (our townhome was built in the early 60s). The expert installation team of Manny, Richy and Jerry installed everything, including new ducts, in 2 days. They are professional and protected hardwood floor while moving equipment. Absolutely love the Amana equipment because it is Made in the USA

Alfredo came out on time and wore booties. very professional. I thought the price was high but have nothing to compare it to. he explained everything clearly. Cost and what it took to fix it. $1,000 for now and if it doesnt fix the leak may have to come back again at another $3,500. they are very professional both Alex and lady handling the phone. I would highly recommend them. They also installed the unit 6 years ago.

Highly recommended. they installed a new furnace and an A/C unit. cleared out the old furnace and installed a new digital thermostat! Feels so high tech! The techs, Jorge and Walter, were awesome and explained how to use the new thermostat. The install was clean and done rather efficiently. Really impressed guys. finally got some AC flowing!

On time and super professional - we knew that there were some potential issues with our system, and the tech was able to take a look, and give us an idea of what we needed to have updated. He was very courteous and got us set up with an appointment to have an estimate determined for the work that needs to be done. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.

After living in this house since the late 90s, it was due time to get an air conditioning unit installed! Gus, Steven, and Jerry were the employees who came out to install the unit. All of them wore masks and I spoke mostly to Gus and Steven. As someone who knows very little about this newfangled technology, Gus and Steve explained things verily well.

We couldn't be happier with the service Alps did for us on our heating and cooling system. We had a huge job that needed to be done. We got our heating and cooling relocated and new duct work. We also had to get some new electrical done. Everyone we met with was professional and very knowledgeable. They did great work and kept everything very clean.

We had our city inspector out on Thursday who said he was very impressed with the work Alps did. The inspection passed easily. We are so grateful and happy with the work. We highly recommend them.

Had Alfredo come out to inspect and tune up the AC and furnace. He was very nice and professional. He quoted me $1.7k for: Furnace: -Clean blower wheel -Clean coil -Clean evaporator coil AC: -Installation Voltage booster I got 2 other AC companies to come take a look. First one told me the Voltage booster is a made-up part that is not needed. Second one told me my AC was fine.

I can pay $500-600 to get it cleaned but its really not needed at this time. Overall, I would not recommend this company. Seems like they want to rip people off. If you do decide to go with them, make sure to get a 2nd opinion if they ever quote you on something.

This is my second year using Alps and both times Alfredo came out to service my HVAC. We did general maintenance last year, but there was recommended services that they said we should consider. This year Alfredo came out again for the additional maintenance, but we ended up asking if it worth replacing the system at this point. He remembered me from last year and asked us some questions like how long do we think we will live in this house and how old is the system.

I really appreciate his honesty and the fact that he didn't try to up sell us. We ended up deciding to replace our system and Alps coordinated the remove of the asbestos wrapped ductings and pipe with a remediation company. I requested if Alfredo could come out for the install. He and Jorge came out to replace everything. They were super polite and respectful of our property.

They even used shoe covers without having to be asked! This is a really big deal for us no shoes households! They did a great job, they are hard working and I definitely plan to continue to use Alps for my annual HVAC maintenance.

We are very happy with our system and would highly recommend your company. The salesman was very polite; he sat at our table and explained the whole system to us. I had an exceptionally pleasant experience with ALPS, The owner Al was most helpful and friendly, and he went above and beyond basic responsibilities. He provided a reasonable option for me as well as flexible payments, couldn't ask for more! I also really appreciated that the installers put cardboard down to protect my wood floors during the installation.

We selected Alps over the other contractors who bid jobs; for price but mostly because of the enthusiasm of Allen. He represents the company and family very well. It was great to see a company moving into another generation of the family.
