Jenkins' cost of services is higher than average but with less than average quality of work and service. Case in point, Jenkins came to my house for a routine semi annual A/C maintenance check during which they discovered an A/C leak. Instead of determining source of leak at that time, I was told I had to arrange for another visit to determine the source of the leak for an additional cost of $200.

I had Jenkins come in the next day, at which point the technician was able to pinpoint the leak 15 minutes after his arrival. A day later, Jenkins provided me a $3200 estimate to fix the leak. I told Jenkins that I had spoken to a friend of mine in the A/C business who said their estimate was about $1000 too high. Jenkins told me they would have someone call me to review the estimate, but I never heard back. A few days later, I contacted AC Designs Inc, who performed the repair in outstanding fashion for $2200.

I called on Wednesday, March 20th Mr. Jenkins answered, I needed to get an estimate after calling other companies who I felt was not very honest with me up front.

My air conditioner stopped working so I called Jenkins Heating and Air. They answered right away and had someone arrive at my house same day. They were able diagnose and solve the issue quickly. The service was great and they had my A/C back up and running the same day.

What a scam! All reviews are within a month, clearly fabricated fakes. This one is NOT, this one is the real deal! Worst experience EVER for ANY home services. Shoddy work, terrible customer service, left a mess, smoking onsite.

Update: Tech got in touch with the tenant and was able to solve the problem efficiently and effectively. Also spoke to Mike Jenkins, the owner, who was very helpful. I appreciate the effort Jenkins made to make it right and despite the initial negative experience, will use them again in the future.

I bought a house 2 years ago and last summer my AC died. I heard about Jenkins Heating & Air from a friend who recently had a good experience with them. The technician was clean cut, polite, and respectful.
