I used this company a couple of years ago. Before they came out, they had me try a series of things with my unit to see if I could resolve it. I couldn't. They came right out and were reasonable. Something about the troubleshooting really resonated with me. I knew I was dealing with an honest company. Fast forward to this week. A.C. goes out, I make an appointment.

There was no question who I was going to call. My appointment was a couple of days away so I called them to describe what my unit was doing. The gentleman gave me a tip to try. It worked. My A.C. is working! I'm still having them come out and check my unit. They could've come out and charged me anything. They didn't. This is my company if I ever have ANY heating and air troubles.

And if anyone ever ask me if I know of a good company, there's no question who I'm referring them to. I love adding a smart, responsible business to my team. Avalon is clearly in this for the long haul to develop lifelong clients and not the quick, short-term money grab! SMART! RELIABLE! HONEST!

Although, I did not use them. But, honestly they have great customer service and professional. The only reason I did not use thier service is because the system I wanted it was out of stock. And that not their fault. Other than that, great company!

Called them about my situation. They got me an appointment the next day! They knew that I needed my a/c to be looked at so bad. John (tech) came the next day, he's very professional. Took his time assessing the unit. I asked him several questions and he seems very knowledgeable about his job. We've used this company multiple times in the past. They're very honest and won't tell you that you needed to replace just to make money off of you. Some companies, they will lie to you. I've experienced it before. Thank goodness that this company is different from the others. Thanks Avalon!

Avalon did a great job replacing our HVAC when it broke. They were the most affordable of all the companies who gave us quotes, were able to replace our unit sooner than the other companies I called and they didn't try to take advantage of us to upgrade to a unit we couldn't afford while we were sweating in the heat of our kitchen getting the quote like another company did.

Avalon was referred by my neighbor. I received two other quotes that were several thousand more than what Avalon was offering. The quality was no different than there competitors. The technicians and the office staff were friendly and reliable among many compliments. We had an issue with the temperature staying elevated and had to call them back out. They were out the next day and fixed the issue. I would recommend Avalon to my friends and family.

Avalon is great. I spoke to Roman who quoted me and I feel that I got a great deal. They installed all the duct work in new construction house and installed the Goodman AHU and heatpump. My building inspector said its some of the best work he has seen. I also called Roman today, two years later to get advice on a new system I am installing in Nevada and he was a true gentlemen trying to help me out over the phone. Thanks guys!

I am new to Jacksonville and was referred to Avalon Heating and Air by my realtor. That referral alone was worth every penny of my realtor fees! The Avalon technicians were detailed, beyond clean, and explained what they were doing in a professional but easy to understand manner. The HVAC system was top of the line and at a significant cost savings compared to my other estimates.

I was referred to Avalon by a friend who uses them regularly at Apartment complexes his company manages. I had a 26 year old central unit that needed replaced. I had a 3 ton unit installed with new drain and refrigerant lines and also had the air handler relocated to my attic for less than my regular company quoted without the attic relocation. The tech who looked at the unit was polite and professional as was Ben the sales rep.

The install crew showed up on time and were also very professional. They completed the install faster than I expected, cleaned up behind themselves. They reviewed the job with me before they started as well as when they had completed it. I would recommend Avalon to anyone looking for a quality A/C company.

I would recommend these people to anybody. They did a tremendous job and also how conscientious they were about making sure they kept Everything clean, they did a complete overhaul everything from the inside unit to the outside unit all new lines and did not stop one time until job was complete. I have been using Avalon for the past 5yrs and they've been nothing but amazing company to work with! I have worked on renovation and new construction projects in the Riverside/Avondale area and they have been great at both work and pricing. On my rental units I have been using Avalon for my maintenance as well and they have been great. I highly recommend!

They installed a new A/C unit in my condo. 3 months later, the breaker to the A/C keeps tripping. Called an electrician out. 1. They never pulled a permit for the electrical, only the installation of the A/C. A licensed electrician should be the one to connect it to the breaker panel, and pull a permit. They skipped this step, which resulted in the breaker box shorting out. 2.

Now I'm out $200 because they didn't do their job correctly, or even pull a permit. The new electrician is pulling the permit after the fact because of their incompetence. Granted it's only $14, but still an important step! You can see where the short is. All the screws attaching the wires are silver.the black screw is where they incorrectly attached it and it shorted out.

To those reading this at Avalon. I want my $200 for the service I just had to have done because you didn't do your job right. Should I wait for a response from you here, or should I just go to small claims court? Hey, $200 is $200!

Year ago we had some trouble with our AC unit. We called several companies to get quotes and do a diagnosis of the problem. One company said it was the main board in the air handler (a very pricey replacement), another company couldn't figure out what was going on because the AC unit was quite advanced.
