I'm three minutes from their location not only did they tell me that would be 3 to 4 hours for them to come but it would be $280 to get my keys out of my truck. Over priced because I locked my keys in my vehicle

They were very pleasant to deal with. But they charged me $195 to replace a small lock on a cabinet. Ridiculous price gouging. Find someone else.

Poor customer service. The guy "helping" me was trying to make me feel guilty for interrupting his lunch hour and was becoming angrier as more customers walked in. I strongly recommend some customer service training.

Robert was awesome to work with and Leo did an amazing job moving my safe. Stairs and hardwood floors and everything turned out perfect, Would 100% use again in the future.

Critical: Value Overly Expensive. They sure know how to overprice. Almost feel like I was stolen from just to retrieve my car keys.

Today I came in wanting a new key fob for my truck. I recieved nothing but great attitude from Mike he was quick to help me out and get me taken care of! Definitely recommend this place for any needs in keys.

A-1 locksmith are life savers, if you have any thing that has to do with keys, I encourage you to go to A-1, they respond to calls, and communicate too, there is a difference between copy cats and original. A-1 is the real deal, I'm satisfied. After calling too many so-called locksmith places, they don't pick their calls nor return calls, A-1 have made my day. You people get my business for life. I want to say thank you guys with much appreciation.

We went there today at 8am, we were the first customer there. wanted to get a replacement Key FOB for our 2013 Dodge Caravan. MICHAEL was Very Helpful, VERY Professional, Very pleasant and we got best customer service. We were done in 30 minutes. Tho about $50 expensive then Ace hardware or anyone around we got quotes from but Only these guys had this model Key Fob instock and did it having to make an Without Appointment.

Everyone else told us they would have to order the key and will take about 5 days. Really Happy with their service and that they had the key in stock and we were done in 30 minutes. Highly recommended. :D

Had my key rebuilt in Carrollton location, which din quite work. Visited this location to get it fixed as it was nearer. Forgot the name but The guy with the specs and very short hair was very very very helpful and understanding. All 5 stars for him. Knowledgeable and very helpful. Thanks

Just had a copy made of my Chevy Tahoe key. They were quick and courteous at the Walnut Hill location.

I called on Wednesday to get an estimate to rekey a lock. I was told $15 for the service trip and $$19.99 for the rekeying. He asked when I wanted an appointment. I said I would call on Friday to make appointment for Saturday. I called on Saturday to make appointment and confirm price. Again I was told $15+ $19.99. The tech, Santiago showed up. He did the work and told me the charges were $120.00.

When I complained he said $60 was the least he could do. He tried to say I didn't talk to their company for the price, but I did, they already had my phone number and address in the system and I have never used them! If I had not spoken to them I would not have had the appointment.

I'm the elder of the house and for me is really important to keep my valuables safe. I contacted this company and they offered me an improved lock system that would help me to protect my valuables. I decided to get the option they gave me and I'm really happy with the result

No call, no show. Plus they lied. Said they were coming over during a certain time and when called as to why they didn't show, they denied it, made up a story, and created another window to show up later the same day. Again no call, no show. I live in Preston Hollow. I will never call these people again.

They are very knowledgeable about making keys and safes. Just had a couple of keys made.

I have always depended on this location. Ken is AMAZING. He worked a miracle fixing the ignition on my Honda Element while keeping a steady stream of happy customers. An amazing job, well done! If I could give more than 5 stars, he'd get them. Just inspiring and excellent. I highly recommend this store because of consistantly exceptional service and work!

Life saver. Was able to program and cut my Honda car key right on the spot. And it was way cheaper then expected. I would definitely recommend them.

I was very impressed by A1 today. I called multiple locksmiths around Dallas and was told either "We don't work on motorcycles" or "We don't work on YOUR motorcycle". Since the bike in question is an older foreign model, finding a replacement ignition online proved impossible. Robert Laukaitis was easily able to make two duplicate keys based on the broken key we brought to him, and got my son's bike back on the road. We will be coming back to A1 when we need a locksmith!

The storm was coming soon and it was late, so I stepped out of the fifth-wheel in the local camp ground to let the dog out before it got worse outside. Didn't grab a coat or put a leash on the pup. just opened the door and stepped out. I briefly froze as he did what dogs do. and went to open the door. It was locked. The dog wasn't on a leash. I was in a thin tee-shirt and the cold wind was picking up.

I am SO glad I happened to bring my phone outside with me! I searched nearby locksmiths and found A1 - and they were great! Dustin was wonderful, and 5th wheel locks are tricky. especially when the owner can't remember the way it turns! He was so friendly, and let us wait in his warm truck and use his phone charger while he worked in the cold wind and rain to get us back inside our little home. My dog and I are grateful to be back inside on this cold, rainy night and happy I called A1!

Was impressed with Frisco location/team. Provided me with service when I accidentally locked my keys in my car and followed up by replacing my worn out and inoperative remote control. They sent off for a part, replaced the remote and had me on the road in less than five minutes. In an emergency they have my business!

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I called this place and the person that they sent me told me the total would be $88 to open my car. I thought it was expensive but I really needed to open my car. Gave them my card info and he didn't have a physical receipt for me to sign. When I checked my bank account and saw the receipt, they've charged me $188. I called to complain and they said someone would give me a call back. Called the locksmith company directly and they said the same thing. SCAM!

The team that takes care of this location was training in customer service by Attila the Hun! (or some other horrendous character) I believe that they think that breathing counts as good communication and fine manners, but sorry, it does not. I stopped by to check if they could cut a key for my car, and by the time I left I was happy that they didn't threw the key on my face, not very friendly.

I was surprise they did not wear war paint on their faces! It surely seems like these people don't need or want your money. So if you have a chance, DO NOT stop by, as a matter of fact, RUN FOREST RUN!

Always friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Speak with you about your specific needs and get you the right solutions. Pricing is better than others in the area. Employees aren't here for the quick sale but rather, to build long lasting relationships with customers. They understand that if you treat the customer right, take care of the customers needs you build customers for life. I will not use any other locksmith.

Walked in for some keys and got great service from the employee. Definitely recommend!

I've used these guys to rekey offices at work several times. Andrew and David Eubanks are nice guys. David is very knowledgeable when it comes to door access systems. He's been in the biz for a long time. I've gone to the actual store location a couple times to have copies made and they were always nice and it only took a few minutes.

Recently locked myself out of the house in the morning, goofed up and locked the door behind me while everyone else was at work. Called these guys because they installed our new locks around 2010 when we moved in and I saved their number in my phone. They were nice over the phone and still had us in their system. They said it'd be about an hour for the tech to arrive, but soon after he called and gave me a heads-up he'd be there in 30 minutes.

The tech was courteous, in a company van and shirt, and verified my ID before opening the door. He popped it open in a few minutes, and it came to about $90. Nice tech, did all the right things I thought he should, and reasonable price and timeline. Will keep them in my phone for future use, and happy to recommend them to friends if they need someone.

Horrible experience. I locked my keys In my car and thought ahh I'll call a locksmith (like I have in the pass). Service fee $15 ehh ok and the "technician" will discuss with me the actual price of labor. I said ok sure shouldn't be much. Couple air bags and a hook to unlock door. Shouldn't be much right? Tech comes out, sees my keys sitting there and tells me it'll be $149 dollars to unlock my car.

I thought he was crazy! Once he noticed my reaction he asked me. " well how much do you have?" I thought to myself. seriously guy? You tell me what's the best price you can do this for and he went down to $120. Once I refused to pay that he started talking about side deals how he could even do it for free if he wanted but he won't because well I NEED HIS TOOLS!

Once I told him I'd call his boss and see what's the best price he jumped and said "no don't". $120 is best I can do thru company blah blah blah bullshit! I paid it unhappily just to get my keys and him out of my face. He was smirky and making small talk that I really didn't want to hear. Got his air bags and did exactly what I knew he was going to do and left.

Not happy with the price or customer service. Do not call this company 9729460050 or dispatch 9728936017. I looked online and it's 10 dollars for the air wedge. Call me! I will do it and for $10

Called at 430 and they said they would be at the car to rekey by 6. I called at 610 and they stated the tech was still on another job and was a minimum of two hours away. No apologies or remorse. Ridiculous customer service. I don't recommend at all

Came to this location on a Monday around 4:45pm to fin they were closed. Hours of operation are not as posted. I knocked on the window with someone there and was turned away.

Wow! Glad I didn't read the reviews before calling. I had no issues but I also had a very easy situation. I called and received same day service for them to change the locks. They gave me a 5-7pm window but called me at 4 to see if they could come earlier. They did and the serviceman even waited for me to get there. No scams just paid him and he left.

Brian Nix, the store manager in west Fort Worth went way out of his way to solvent numerous problems I was having moving lock sets from my old to my new patio doors. This included customizing tail pieces by hand to fit my unusual circumstances.

First of all, why is it so hard to find a locksmith with a brick and mortar location. Everyone I called was a mobile shop that wanted a minimum of $50 just to come out. All I needed was a car key copied. It is one of those fancy laser keys so I couldn't just go to Home Depot with it. I was quoted $5 over the phone, but it turned out to be $40 for my kind of key.

The guy apologized about the confusion and was very friendly. The whole thing took about 5 minutes and he even helped me move my immobilizer chip from the old key to the new key. I used my own blank, so they didn't guarantee that it would work, but it ended up working perfectly. He even went out to me car with me to try it. The whole thing cost less than the cost of just having someone come out.

This shop doesn't stand by their quotes. I gave them a make, model and year of a vehicle and they quoted me a price, then cancelled their appt. due to a serviceman's family emergency. When we went to re-schedule they changed the price by hundreds of dollars.

Ripoff! I called this company asking for a quote and was given a $15 service fee and then it depends on the work needed.starting at $35. The tech who came to my door argued with me about how the door couldn't possibly be locked from the otherside (I had my key). Dumbass didn't even try to open the door before arguing! He then gave me a quote of $190 without trying anything.

It was 2am and had to get in. It took him 3 minutes to pop the door with 2 air bags and a flat head screwdriver! No tell me how that is not a $35-$50 minimal charge!? Not at $190! Then I asked for the techs name and he wouldn't give it to me unless I gave him my credit card number, after the payment had already been placed! Sketchy and did not make sense. Manager calls me and completely defends it. NEVER USE THIS LOCATION!

I was in need of a safe and wasn't sure about what i needed or want. I stop by the new A-1 location at Hulen and I20 and was very impressed to actually see a store front business that sold safes LIBERTY SAFES AT THAT'.

I don't normally write reviews for businesses i have been to but A1 takes the cake. They were super professional, helpful and affordable. I needed a key and remote for my truck but didn't want to pay what the dealership was going to charge me.
