The service from Not Your Basic Locksmith was great! The technician called me when he was on his way which was really convenient and when he arrived he was very nice and professional. In April 2023, after a house fire destroyed all of our car keys, I called this locksmith to help replace them for my truck and my wifes car. They were quick to respond, but unfortunately, the new keys only worked for a couple of days before they stopped. This happened multiple times I called 13 or 14 times, and while they always came out under warranty to fix the issue, the keys just didnt hold up. Eventually, I gave up and have been using a key that works in the ignition but not on the doors. Recently, after a break-in damaged my cars lock, I went to their office and met with the owner. He was kind enough to personally come out and fix the issue on the spot, which I appreciated.

This is the best Lock Smith so far in DFW area! I found them on Facebook, they replied my message so fast and booked an appointment for the following day. The technician showed up on time and programmed car key in timely manner. Their prices are so affordable, you cant compare to others! This is definitely more than a 5 star
