I recently reviewed the company and gave the tech 4-5 stars. However, several techs have been to our house over the last couple of weeks, and the AC STILL doesn't work. One person "reset" the system, whatever that means, and left before he knew that nothing would change. Another person made an immediate diagnosis that the thermostat needed to be replaced.
After waiting another week, someone stopped by to switch out thermostats, and again left before knowing if that fixed the problem. Uh, nope. I called again to set up another appointment and set it for today. Guess what: no one has shown up or called or texted or emailed, and their answering service continues to answer the calls. This company has turned into a joke since it was purchased recently. It's terrible.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Continued no-shows, no one answers the phone, guys come out and leave before knowing that the problem is not fixed. No worries; it's only 102 here. I've been an All Year customer for 18 years. They installed the HVAC system when this house was new, and another a few years ago when the old one needed to be replaced. THAT was a great company - always responsive, great technicians, stood behind their work, did what they said they'd do. The new version under new management - not so much. They failed to reserve a maintenance appointment I asked for (I found this out after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment, then nobody showed up), scheduled a different appointment, cancelled at the last minute, and now refuse to make another - despite the fact that they took my money for this service.

We had these guys install an entire system, over $13,000 worth of work, inside and out. That was a couple of years ago. At the time, the family that owned the business was great. The business changed owners in 2021, and we recently started having problems with the AC not working. One guy came out, charged us nearly $100 to reset the system. He mentioned that "if you're going to have a high dollar computerized compressor and thermostat, you have to expect some trouble. lots of software, hardware etc." I just bought what they recommended.
Weather was cold, so when we finally started using it again, same problem. Another guy came out, reset it again, wanted to charge another $90 but I pitched a fit. I was curious why that was their solution and it seemed like neither of them really knew what the problem was. Apparently there's a lot of employee turnover here. not a good sign. I trusted his judgement.
System died again, we called first thing this morning, got an answering service, we never got a call. $13,000 and we're living in a sauna. This system has crapped out a few times since installation and each tech has no friggin clue. The old Carrier unit lasted 15 years with no problems. If you feel like having a really pretty non functioning high dollar green box on the side of your house, by all means call these guys. If you don't want to sleep with the windows open in 90 degree heat, call somebody else.

I've been a customer for over 10 years for our geothermal system that was installed by this company. Our compressor froze and a tech arrived a week ago to give me the verdict. He said he would provide a quote. After calling back several times to the office, they finally informed me they no longer worked on my system. I lost a week in the process with no progress on the issue. They did refer me to another tech company, but the communication has been very poor.

I hired All Year Cooling to change ducts in my house. The crew was good and the price was reasonable. I also had the same company build me a new air handler box and also was happy with it until my drain line which runs through the box began to leak. I called All Year Cooling and they replaced the insulation in the box and re-routed my drain line so it does not go through my air handler box.
I discussed the problem with the office and they told me that they would cover the cost of re-insulation and re-routing the drain line. To me, their Customer Service is great. They are now my go to Air con company

One of our AC condensers went out last week. I called several companies to provide estimates. Susan from All Year came out and gave us an estimate. After getting the quote I realized she didn't provide the Trane model #s. I wanted these so I could make sure I was fairly comparing the quotes (eg, don't want to compare apples to oranges). She emailed after hours saying she was too busy but would get back to me with the requested information. She didn't.

I called them on a Monday morning after a holiday weekend. They had a seasoned, professional technician out by 12:30 that day. He found the problem and got it fixed quickly. He even explained to us what he had done as it is likely to happen again. The icing on the cake was that before he left he even picked up the debris that fell off the attic stairs onto the hall floor.

We just used All Year Heating and Cooling to replace our HVAC unit. We had Jeff out to service our unit which was not serviceable but needed to be replaced. He was excellent and explained exactly what was wrong and showed me the problems with our unit. He said Susan would come out and let us know options to replace the unit. She came the next day and within 2 days we had a new unit - thanks to Kenny Case and Josh Hammit.
These guys worked hard and long to get the new unit working and we love it. The new Trane is much better than our old one. We are very pleased with All Year and would recommend them to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about Service Tech Jeff from All Year. Jeff is a true professional and an honest man that truly cares about customers. I recently worked with him on a repair on my Trane unit at my home. The diagnosis and fix took a little over a month to get taken care of. Jeff was patient, and worked with me over the duration of the repair.
He and Casey went to bat for me in getting several warranty issues taken care of at the very end of my warranty. I highly recommend Jeff and All Year Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for professional, honest HVAC repair or installation. Great local Austin company!

All Year is a family owned business that has served me extremely well for 20+ years! They respond quickly and send out super competent technicians. When one of my 20+ year old units died, they replaced it immediately. Their service is always outstanding! I could not recommend this business more highly!

Recently, our AC went out at a very inconvenient time (as it always is) due to both the extreme heat and a family situation that required us to be in the house a lot.

This company impressed me from the first phone contact with the office this morning. Oh gosh I think her name was Marissa, could have been Melissa ~ bottom line ~ pleasant, professional, efficient and accommodating. She arranged for a technician to come today, very soon after our initial phone call. Austin was the technician that arrived. He was also very professional, courteous, informative, walked me through all my options and went directly to work.

The larger of our two A/C units was low on freon, and we were advised to replace it, rather than re-charge with now very expensive and soon-to-be-unavailable freon coolant. Got two bids for replacing the A/C, and the 96% efficiency "pulse" heater (which was working well after 31 years, but the encasement wouldn't fit the new A/C's condenser coil). Decided to use All Year Heating & Cooling, and we were delighted with their professionalism, service, and fair pricing. Ours was a particularly complicated replacement problem, because the compressor unit to be replaced was on our (flat) roof, and the high-efficiency heater and interior A/C condenser coils were crammed into a front closet, with the little space around them needed to store coats and cleaning tools and products.
All Year sent out a senior executive and their project manager to measure carefully the old and new units' requirements. They managed to remove the old equipment and install, and thoroughly test the new heating and A/C equipment in one day, even though it required a crew of four skilled (and polite) technicians, with the senior project manager present and providing guidance while they carefully uploaded the bulky and heavy new A/C unit to our roof (in part by taking down the fence between our house and our neighbors and replacing it perfectly).
They were very patient about cleaning everything up at and near the installation, and explaining and testing the rather complicated new wi-fi enabled thermostat. The salesperson has already filed the high-efficiency rebate forms with Austin Energy and helped us file with Texas Gas for the heater. We liked our old A/C, but this one is much more efficient (variable compressor and fan speeds, depending on the cooling requirements), and cools and dehumidifies wonderfully. We're couldn't be more satisfied with the products or the company itself.

Our AC stopped in the middle of a very hot August night. I called All Year and the dispatcher was able to work with my schedule and get a technician to my house in time for the AC to be back on and have the house cooled by dinner. Great service from the technician and the dispatcher. Great price too!
