This place is a complete joke. If your warranty company wants to use them, tell them NO! Technicians came out to diagnose/repair my dishwasher.2 months later it's still not fixed and to top it off Airfast told my warranty company they never came to my house to diagnose anything. Too bad I have a copy of the invoice your tech left with me. They never answer their phones and never return messages. Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this place.

Unprofessional. Repair men do not know products. I have waited months for them to fix my oven. Then they finally came and replaced something, but it didn't fix the problem. The company refuses to address incomplete work. Megan literally told me to take my business elsewhere, rather than make it right. Don't waste your money. I had no choice because my warranty company uses them (no clue why). If you have a choice, don't go here.

After waiting 4 mo to have a range repaired, Airfast was never able to repair the range. As of today we have been lied to several times that proof of the unrepairable range has been sent in the mail. Megan has the worst customer service ever! I will never use or refer this company to anyone! Horrible experience!

Airfast was sent out by E.S.P. and it was a disaster from the start. The person they sent out did not check anything, only went by what I told him I thought the problem APPEARED to be. He did not touch the machine and wrote in the work performed column that I needed a control board and a door gasket. I asked him how he knew what the problem was without doing any troubleshooting.
He told me that he takes the paperwork back to the company and they contact the warranty provider to authorize the repairs. I asked him again how did he know what parts are needed for the repairs since he didn't check the machine at all. He told me that he was a HVAC technician and that Airfast would send out a washing machine mechanic with the parts.
He asked me for my co-pay ($15) and I told him that I would pay it when the technician came out to do the repairs because we don't even know for sure what the problem is since he didn't troubleshoot the machine. It could be the control board, a switch, a loose wire or a multitude of other problems and you can't look at a machine and magically know what the problem is for sure.
He didn't even run it through a cycle, so there is no way he could know for certain what the problem(s) might be. He put on my paper that I didn't want to pay my co-pay and I wrote on the bill "until the problem is fixed". I never received a follow up call so I called back to the company a couple of days later and asked the person on the phone to speak with a supervisor.
She told me that she was the office manager. I explained the situation and all she kept saying was that I had to pay my co-pay because a technician came to my house. She kept saying that she could refer me to another company and I finally took her up on it because she didn't care about getting my machine fixed, only that I needed to pay that stupid little $15 and I told her I'm not paying it until you tell me what is wrong with my machine.
Bad attitude, bad customer service, and definitely a bad technician who did absolutely nothing to ascertain what the problem was with my washer. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody and I plan on making a complaint with the BBB.

Airfast is a quality company. I worked very closely with Megan regarding a warranty issue and she went beyond the call of duty to fix the issue. She is very kind, professional and focused. She followed up consistently to make me aware of where things stood. I am very pleased with this company and hats off to Megan for a job well done.

The WORST service ever and rude to top it off! First, I was placed with this company as part of Sears Home Warranty plan (DO NOT BUY!). 3 of the 6 times they came out, I had to pay $100 per the warranty co-pay. I had a central air unit (heat pump) system. First they said the freon was low so they charged it up - a day later whatever quick fix didnt last.
A week later they returned (different guy) who said the unit was over loaded with freon and that it needed to be drained. A day or two later no a/c again. Another time they said my filter was dirty and thats why it was not working (each time prior they checked the filter and said it good). Eventually they kept saying it was a different problem until summer was over and they proclaimed I need a new furnace (my furnace was less than 5 years old).
I argued that if anything it was the heat pump or the lines connecting the heat pump to the furnace but the warranty company said that I had to have the furnace replaced. I was told I had to pay $395 for required payment (for what I'm still not sure). So they replaced it in December and turned on the heat. No warranty paperwork, no service documents - just done and gone.
Now summer hits and the A/C does not work STILL! Sears Home Warranty won't do anything because they said when they paid for a new unit, the company that put it in is responsible. I called AirFast and they said they would not look at their own workmanship without an $85 trip fee. DO NOT Use This Company!

Be very careful if you see one of their vans out on the road. Nearly was runoff the road today by a van going more than 30 over the speed limit, swerving in and out of traffic, using no signals and with equipment on their roof that was rattling and shaking so not properly tied or fastened down. It stands to reason that if they're that irresponsible and dangerous on the road, that you shouldn't trust them with any kind of machinery.

Beware! If I could give this company a 0 I would. I am making this complaint on behalf of my 70 year old father, who has an active account with 210 home warranty, and he placed a service request for repairs to his air-conditioner on 5/26/2020, it is 6/9/2020 and currently 92 degrees outside and the temperatures have been similar for the past 13 days that his air has been out.
My dads home owners insurance contracts with this terrible company, and they were notified to fix his air, someone was supposed to come out that Friday which was already unacceptable considering how hot its been, but they never showed up. However, when my dad called to find out what happened they lied and told the insurance company they came out, and no one was home, but my sister had been home specifically waiting on them all day, and nobody showed up, nor did anyone leave a note saying they came out and missed us (which as far as I'm concerned further proves no one came out) because if they'd actually come to the home they would have left a note saying "Sorry we missed you" which is pretty standard practice for a professional company if they arrive to your home and you're not there. Anyway, they were supposed to come out 2 other times and never showed up.
At this point this company is not only dishonoring their contact with 210 home warranty, but they are disobeying a lot more by making a 70 year old at risk have to endure 90 degree weather with no air. My dad pays for the supreme (more expensive) insurance and still has to pay a fee when they come out. The insurance company called this company with me holding and no one came to the phone for them. They had to cancel and reschedule with another company with better ratings.

In a very short summary, they replaced my furnace unit. After this, there installer did not install this unit successfully (according to the next guy that they sent out). This unseccesful install cause water to leak across my entire laundry room floor. I was left to clean this entire room which included ripping out the entire floor and cleaning all the black mold that it caused.
From this, they decided that $250.00 was enough for any repair that was needed. After showing them all the evidence and their repairman came to reassess and said it was there fault, they wanted to take no ownership of the problem and left me out to dry. Additionally, the office was so unprofessional that they made the decision to have me work through there technician for the overall issue of who is accountable.
There front office wasn't wanting to deal with this so they just pawned it off. An example of how poor this company was, there repairman wasn't ever supplied with correct ductwork tape (metal kind) but instead was supplied with black tape which was a tape between duct tape and gorilla tape. Overall one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

My hot water tank broke on a Friday evening. My home warranty assigned Airfast for the job, but unfortunately they were not open over the weekend. I was not expecting them to call as early as they did on Monday morning (a federal holiday, at that), saying they could be out that day. The tech showed up and immediately diagnosed that the unit needed to be replaced.
I got a call the next day from the warranty company saying the replacement was approved and it should take 5 business days for the order to be completed. That was frustrating, but Airfast followed up saying they got the approval, which I already knew but appreciated their communication. I called Airfast the following Monday just to check in and they unfortunately hadn't heard anything since the approval.
They were so helpful and called the warranty company themselves. I had been told a variety of stories from the warranty company, and I called Airfast back to update them. The lady helping me ended up calling me back telling me she got through to the warranty people and confirmed there was an issue on the warranty end and repeatedly apologized for my inconvenience (this was late January).
It most definitely was NOT Airfast's fault! I finally got a call that Thursday afternoon that my water tank had arrived and they got me on schedule for the next day. I think they were just as excited for me as I was. By the time I got home from work on Friday, I had hot water again. I immediately did laundry and ran the dishwasher before taking a wonderfully hot shower. Working with Airfast was an absolute breeze and I'm certain if it weren't for my home warranty, I would have had hot water again in two days rather than two weeks!

So far so good. came out as scheduled last Friday. Great service for initial consult. Said my furnace is condemned. It's covered under home warranty but if it isn't covered 100% then I might need a second opinion. I really hope they pull through to make this is an even better experience. If so, I'll know who to call in need. I'll make another review upon completion of work.

This is the worst company I had to deal with. My home warranty company used them for a problem with our stove and water tank. They guy that came out didn't know what he was doing at all. He said our stove wouldn't heat because of a broken heating element, wrong it was a total different problem. We had to have another company come out for a second opinion and they was even cheaper.
They found the problem and fixed it. So now for my hot water tank. My wife wanted to fix a pressure valve drip. The drip wasn't even that bad a drip every other day or so. Well they came out ( the oven and water tank was the same day visit) and looked at it the guy said our water tank was not able to be fixed. But why did he open the pressure valve?
After that the little drip every other say turned in a stream and instead of him turing off the water he left it on and when i got home from work my whole hallway and 2 bedrooms was soaked. Now i have to replace the wood flooring in my hallway and my bedroom. We tried to call to talk to a manager, we got the office manager and she ends up giving my wife the run around and pretty much said it was our fault.
They wanted 1200 to replace the water tank. We ended up having another company come out and replace the pressure valve and the tank is fixed. Bad company with bad workers. The BBB needs to evaluate this place and see if they are making up stuff or breaking stuff intentionally to have you pay more. Avoid Airfast.

If there was a way to give them a negative stars I would. They are the worst company to have do anything for you. My warranty company used them for a repair at my house. My hot water heater had a small drip from the pressure valve. It wasn't even that noticeable at all. They sent out a guy that said the valve was faulty and we needed a new water tank. Ok, so the guy ended up opening up the pressure valve and the little drip we had became a stream and i came home from work and my hallway floor was soaked, my bedroom floor was soaked.
So the next day my wife tried to contact the company and the lady said she will be writing up a quote for a new water tank. 4 hours go by and my wife said she didn't hear from them so she called back. The lady day she was still working on a quote. So again a few hours go by and my wife calls again and they gave her a quote it was going to be almost 1200 to get it replaced. Why?
They are the ones that made the problem worse. My wife asked to speak to her manager, she said the manager was on vacation. So my wife asked for someone higher and i guess the guy on vacation was the highest there. I would not recommend this place what so ever. They shouldn't have a license to do any work for anyone. Now i am looking to buy a new water tank and looking for a new place to replace it l. This place should be closed down.

This company is horrible. Do not waste your time. They told us we needed a repair that would exceed $600, after an entire week with no heat and no correspondence other than them telling us they 'had no idea' when they would receive the part or when they would come back out I grew frustrated and contacted another company. That company not only responded to our call within 24 hours, they were able to fix the issue without replacing any parts and have our heat back within those same 24 hours. STAY AWAY FROM AIRFAST

I was impressed from the moment they first entered my home. They put on shoe covers which was great. Both repairmen were very courteous and kind. They explained everything that they did and what they found. They found a minor problem with my home AC unit which they were able to repair same day to get my unit back up and running, they also replaced all of my filters. I would for sure use Air Fast Heating and Cooling again because the price was right, the service was great, and I received high quality workmanship.

I was referred to Airfast by my home warranty company. The trainee was nice and cordial but the female technician was unprofessional and giving snide remarks about my house while I was reorganizing my kitchen. The trainee is doing all the work that the technician is telling him. They were not here for a long time. It was closer to 30 minutes. The trainee was told to connect some wires to try to bypass the delay.
Once that was done a burnt electrical smell wafted through the house. The furnace fan then started running continuously and we were unable to turn it off. They said we had a leak and that after calling the home warranty they would be back later. They never came back. Called a different company and they told me whoever crossed the low & high voltage wires fried the motherboard and that there was no leak. Choose a different company. They misdiagnosed the issue & damaged the motherboard.

StarWow wow wow! 1ST tech came out to fix the issue of water leaking from the furnace. Said the coils were tilted. Turned on the a/c later that day and smelled burning coming from the vents. The water had leaked onto the blower causing it to be fried. Week and a half later 2ND tech came out with a trainer lady. She was on her phone facebooking the whole time.
Me and the tech made small talk. He replaced the blower fan and that was it. I asked them to check the water drainage as that was the original issue. They lady took time away from her phone to dump a few glasses of water down the service line and said it may be clogged but not sure and then they left because it wasnt on their work order they weren't doing it.
So they ran the unit a few minutes and then left. The next day the a/c came on and water leaked again. Called them again and they sent a tech. The 3rd tech said that the coil drain pan was cracked and that the coils need replaced. Waited a few days and called several times to Air Fast. They kept telling us that the parts are on order or that they were waiting to here from the manufacturer (both bs) and they were awaiting approval from AHS (more bs). Called today and their story was the same.
Then I get a call from another heating place asking to schedule service. We said no we have Air Fast sent by our AHS home warranty. So we called Air Fast again, they said they are still waiting. Called AHS and they said that Air Fast refused service due to the fact we were rude ( i guess calling to get the status of parts is rude). So even knowing this they lied directly to us and AHS. Pathetic.
The lady was very unprofessional and rude. Do not use this company. Feel bad for the 2nd tech who was on his first day with this lady and for the 3rd tech who seemed like he knew his skill. Run away and use someone else unless you like being lied to and have money taken from you. As of now been with out A/C for close to a month anf a half

This is a review of the company's customer service, not services rendered. I was referred to Airfast through my home warranty. I made an appointment for the first time and I was given a three or four hour window of the technician' expected arrival. The representative said that the technician would call thirty minutes out. I never received a call, voicemail or a visit.
I rescheduled the following week and the same thing. This time the technician said he left a business card on the door which I did not receive. The birds or squirrels could have taken it, so I can say that he did not. So from this experience, I would say do not anticipate a call ahead and be at your residence with the door open on the date and time-frame of service. I give them two stars because at least the scheduler was nice over the phone.

Miserable service. Was assigned Airfast from my Home Warranty. They showed up, diagnosed my issue, took my $75 and never called back to complete the repairs. After days of calling them and not getting a call back I finally got through. Their service rep indicated that Airfast doesn't work on my type of system and had informed my Warranty Company. Funny.but no one has any record of that notification. So, after taking my $75 and dodging my calls I am back to square one. Never use this service.

They quoted us in writing a 3 ton AC unit and installed a 2 1/2 ton unit. Our research has verified our home's need for a 3 to 3 1/2 ton unit. They refuse to correct their mistake claiming it was a "typo" on the quote (hand written?!) We have filed a complaint with the BBB and it is yet unresolved. Horrible - stay away.

This company was hired by my home warranty service to fix my central air unit. The technician was very non chalant and seemed as if he didn't want to be there. The technician went in my basement to see the unit from the inside then he went outside to look at the unit. He came back in and said that the unit was up and running. I asked him what was wrong and he said it could be a number of things, but some of the things would be to time consuming to address.
So he told me he put some sealant around the unit valve and then added a pound of freon. I was so angry, basically he did a patch job on the unit. He did no diagnostics and did not even stay around to see if the unit was working properly. He told me since it wasn't a new unit I can expect to have continuous issues. I couldn't believe it.
He then charged me the $75 copay and left. I called his supervisor when he left and they basically blew it off. Within a little before 3 weeks the unit broke down again experiencing the same issues. My home warranty service called out another company and they found a 3 inch leak from the copper pipe leading from the unit into the house. The new company stated there is no way that a technician could have missed this.
They welded the crack which sealed the leak and they even took pictures because the work previously done was so shotty. I called Airfast to get a refund based off of what the new company found and because the unit broke down within less than 3 weeks. The manager was very condescending and sexist and kept calling me "sweetheart" as if he was talking to a child. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, they are lazy, rude, disrespectful, and do very shotty work. This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with.

For three years, Airfast Heating and Cooling has provided timely and professional service to us. During this time, we have come to trust their recommendations. On more than one occasion, we have found their repair cost to be much lower than we expected. Airfast technicians are dependable and knowledgeable.

We have a home warranty with a national company. They have sent out some questionable contractors in the past. So when they assigned our service request to Airfast I did some research. I was hesitant to let this company come to my home. But there were some positive reviews. Long story short. Thomas showed up and went thru our system with me. He was EXTREMLY professional never recommending work that may not be necessary. Even though our HVAC system is 20+ years old he found nothing wrong and suggested we do nothing. I cannot speak to the other techs but I would recommend him whole heartily.

Advice: stay away. My 2nd floor furnace was only working sporadically and the warranty company sent Air Fast to fix the issue. 4 days later they came out and shut off the furnace completely. Said they would be back the next day when they had a new flame sensor. 4 more days passed with me calling them multiple times a day and I couldn't get a hold of anyone.
Finally when they said they were coming back they mentioned it could be a more significant issue with a control panel and ordering the panel was the delay. They sent out a service manager on the next visit and he said they actually didn't order the panel and he thought it was the sensor. 10 days without heat. Air fast then replaced the sensor and the problem returned within a week and a half. These guys are terrible.

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. I was given their name by my warranty company to fix our heat pump that decided to freeze up and stop working a couple weeks ago. The technician came out and pumped freon into the system and said he put something else in to fix the leak (but never looked for the actual leak).

AC down in the middle of summer is the pits! We had a couple nights of all cramming into one bed, the bedroom where the portable AC was, and waking up with a foot in my face definitely encouraged me to make a speedier decision vs my typical going off on a tangent, like considering geothermal. Needing a heat pump replacement is never fun, but Airfast made it as painless as possible.
Could have gone with a cheaper alternative brand wise or replacing the outside unit only, but replacing both with a quality unit was the right way to go. Alex's quote for a Trane outside unit & inside air handler was excellent, detailed down to all item numbers to be used, cost breakdown for parts/labor, warranty, and patiently answered all my questions. Thankfully they were able to install quickly, Dustin and Chris did a wonderful job, and I super appreciated getting Dustin who's been doing the service calls at my rental for the install, I already knew he is an excellent technician. All is right in the world now that I no longer live in an oven!

Rude employees and obviously management is as well. Made several complaints to which I got no response. Service technician that came to my home tried to tack on extra to an insurance claim and when I refused to be bamboozled, He took his shoe covering off and left in in my foyer on the floor, they held up my claim, got the needed part to fix my unit then refused to do the work.
They have caused my AC service to be down for 3 weeks and counting. Did I mention they gave me a 3 hour window to come out and 12-4 and showed up at 5:45 and said if I did not keep that appointment I would have to wait another week as if it was my fault the technician was late. My home warranty service company even said they were unresponsive and rude to them.
Go elsewhere. There are many better qualified, nicer companies who want your business and will do a good job. Shame on them for treating people so poorly and taking advantage of warranty service customers by upcharging for routine maintenance and then not completing the original job they were hired to do.

In the winter of 2013 I had called Airfast to give me an estimate on replacing my furnace and they came in $1000 less than their competitors Sears, Favret, and Midwest Heating and Cooling. Dustin (the technician) did an excellent job communicating with myself and my tenants during the process. Dustin also gave us some insight on what could help our leaky AC unit.

We have had a very bad experience with Airfast. In 2008, they replaced my furnace. Recently, I have gotten married and my husband was investigating why the AC wasn't cooling the house effectively. He discovered that the furnace was installed incorrectly- we have a downdraft furnace and they installed it as if it were an updraft furnace. As a result, unfiltered air comes in our house via the return as opposed to filtered air coming in through our vents.
We contacted the company to tell them. They sent someone out who looked at it for a few minutes and confirmed that the furnace was installed incorrectly- they then charged us $79. After that, the company told us they would not THEIR mistake unless we paid for it. Their defense? "Well, you should have figured it out sooner." Please, don't use this company!
