All equipment, even the most reliable, needs routine maintenance. Without routine maintenance, your air conditioner may lose approximately 5% of it's original efficiency for every year that it is in use. Fortunately, you can recover much of that lost efficiency through routine tune-ups, where an A/C unit can retain upwards of 90-95% of it's original efficiency.

A/C company that I had came out to do a service maintenance on May 10 & informed me there was a leak but didn't know where. The company gave me a date as to when they could have 2 people to come out to find where the leak is occurring, May 25, 15 days out. In the meantime, we're heading into triple digit temps by the end of the weekend. On May 12 an email was sent out to 4 A/C companies regarding our situation. Aristotle Air responded & had one of their representative out to us before 4:00 pm.

He found the leak within an hour & took the information back to his supervisor who in turned figured the cost for replacing the coil unit. The coil unit was under warranty but not the labor & any other added costs. Aristotle Air scheduled the job for the morning of May 16. Two Aristotle Air reps showed up around 10:00 am & replaced out the 3&1/2 year old coiled unit with a new one & were done early afternoon. The guys were polite & did their job.

Great, responsive company. Price for complete replacement of heat pump/AC system was a great value. Only downside was they had to remove some trim around attic access. The crew that installed the unit did not have the tools to make the trim, once reinstalled, look the same. The salesman assured me his company would make any work done like that would be taken care of, so I don't fault the crew that installed my unit. It took me probably 10 minutes with my caulk gun to make it look right, so not a real big issue

They are a front to a company called air care. Search yelp for air care. It's basically a rip off place. Instead of fixing problems, they come and have you sign up an expensive contract that lets them check your AC units for years (note check and not fix).
