PDQ Mechanical

Our AC unit stopped blowing cold air at 8:00 p.m. and it was still over 100 degrees outside. We have small children and dogs and needed to get it fixed quickly. We called several "big name" companies and they either weren't available for days or they just never returned our call. PDQ called back quickly and after talking to their technician he was at our house and our AC was back up and working with in 30 minutes! Thank you PDQ! We will always recommend this company over any other in the valley!

When the home warranty company sent out a subpar company to do repairs & they caused more damage and then couldn't complete the job! I called PDQ Mechanical the original company that installed the AC on the new build for our home & they have been Professional, courteous, accommodating to my crazy schedule reasonably priced! PDQ Mechanical is one of the best companies I've used for my home needs. Everyone I dealt with at this company were extremely personable, punctual, and professional. Appreciated that fact that they were honest and reasonable with pricing. Never tried to upsell me with marketing tactics like the other companies. Prior to installation, they laid out carpets throughout the house to protect my wood floors.

During installation, the attic access had to be cut to allow entry of the new system with a bigger footprint. I was made aware of the access issue when getting the quote. I anticipated seeing a big hole to deal with when they were done. Instead, they took the time to reframe the access and resecured the drywall that was cutout leaving only minimal patch work to be done. Highly impressed with their workmanship. 10 out of 10 would recommend! They will be at the top of my list of recommendations to friends and family.

PDQ is amazing. They are such a friendly and honest company which is really rare and refreshing to see. When other companies try and sell you things that aren't ultimately needed, PDQ will just tell it how it is and not focus on the upsell. They definitely have gained my trust and business for life. Chase was the technician that came to my house and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and took his time to explain everything to me. I can't recommend PDQ enough.5 stars all around!

We turned on our A/C and it was just blowing hot air. Called PDQ at 8:45 on a Friday night and Chase was at our house within the hour. Turns out our Nest thermostat malfunctioned and was turning on the heat instead of the A/C. Chase rewired our Nest thermostat to force it into cooling mode and showed us how to change it back if we wanted heat. We will need a new Nest, but we were back and running with A/C in no time. Thanks Chase!

PDQ was professional from start to finish. I could not recommend their services more. We had 5 previous bids for AC units and PDQ's bid was not only the lowest, they provided the bid without the high pressure tactics we had on the first 5 bids. They were recommended to us by our neighbor who also used their services. We had dreaded this process but to be honest they made it pretty straightforward and an overall positive experience.

Truly a phenomenal company. During our heat wave here in Phx in mid June, our AC decided to clunk out at the WORST time possible. It was steadily climbing up to 106 inside our 2 story home. I was frantically searching for referrals from people I trust for a good, reliable and fair company and PDQ Mechanical was recommended by a work friend. Roger was able to make it out right away to take a look.

He was thorough, went through all our options and gave it to us straight. We ended up replacing our entire AC/furnace and the total bill was beyond reasonable. It's hard to find honest professionals these days so we were so relieved. They made it out a few days later to do the install (poor guys in the 110+ degree attic!) and they were such troopers. Charles, Henry, Justin & Roger were so friendly, very professional and very efficient with the task at hand. We are so pleased we found PDQ and I will continue to recommend them as well as use them for maintenance in our home. Thank you guys!

OMG, this company is a lifesaver. George came out and immediately fixed the problem. Very knowledgable and professional. My home warranty company stated no one could come till Friday in the middle of a heat advisory. Yet they could come out within 2 hours of calling them. I will be using them in the future and will recommend them to everyone.

I have used PDQ for a few years to do repairs as needed. There were times I needed them right away when my AC went out during the summer, not a fun experience. When I called for service, they were prompt, kind and professional. They never price gouged me and explain the situation clearly. With summer coming up, I felt it was time to get an entire new everything.

The men arrived on time, covered the carpet with plastic and did an amazing job. They even fixed the framework to the attic that a prior, horrible experience left damaged. For several years, I can definitely say this company is reputable, honest, no price gouging, upsaleing and left my home as clean as it was before they came. And.the gals that answer the phones are educated, knowledgeable with any questions asked and I asked a lot. I say this company is definitely worth looking into and a choice you will be happy with. Now! I won't be worried about coming home to a 99 degree home

These guys are the best - professional staff from the receptionist to the technicians. They are quick to respond and only do the work that is needed - not one of those companies that pads the bill. I trust them and highly recommend them for your A/C needs.

What an amazing company! When the one we'd been using (b/c they were in our church bulletin) couldn't come out and save us from our broken a/c unit, I called PDQ. From the answering service to the regular receptionists Jen and Kristen, they acted like they really cared and did all they could to send us help. George was soon out and so honest.

He could help us, but if we were going to replace the unit anyway, his "band-aid" was too expensive. Wow. We appreciate honesty above all else. I canceled the appt we had with the other company to install a new unit and instead scheduled a new unit to be put in by PDQ. It didn't work very well at first, so Chase who was on call came out late on a Sat night and did a quick fix noting that there was a faulty part.

He returned on Monday to replace it, only to realize that the whole unit was bad. George and Chase returned on Tuesday replacing it completely and explained things we never knew that would give us better comfort. We will stay with PDQ from here on out. Their honesty and work ethic is beyond what we're used to. Thank you!

PDQ Mechanical is great! My AC went out at the end of last summer on my shop. They sent a technician over and he found a fuse that had blown. It was replaced, paperwork signed, paid and a done deal in less than an hour. I'm incredibly impressed by such reliable, dependable and honest work. Thanks guys you're the best!

This company did a great job for us. The previous ac company we had out made it sound like our unit need open heart surgery and we should probably get a new one. Well that means I need a second opinion. Pdq sent out chase the next day and he was able to repair the unit in an hour as well as program my wall units for me. Great service, honest and would highly recommend them.

Had to replace 2 old ac units last weekend. Pdq was by far the most affordable, had good quality Trane units, and the installation was painless. They had to fix some things that were done incorrectly when the house was built.and did fabulous. Very honest company and will answer any questions (I had probably 20 +). They also kept me in the loop during the install as to where they were on the process. And I do have to say my house actually gets cold now! Thanks pdq!

I just had to send this email to express my genuine satisfaction with your company. Sadly it seems that it is getting harder and harder to find honest companies and good customer service these days. A work associate of mine recommended PDQ to me and from the moment I called until the job was complete it couldn't have been a better experience.

We have contacted PDQ twice for emergency service. We are happy to report that service was prompt, efficient, and minor repairs solved our problem. Because of the age of our home unit, we will soon need to replace our heat pump / air conditioner. We already know who we will call --- PDQ. After 15 years in the valley I finally had a great Air Conditioning experience. PDQ was on time, charged less than what they thought the service was going to cost! Did not try to up-sale me on anything. Called back the next day to make sure that my system was working properly. Better yet my AC bill went down the next month after they serviced my units.

After a couple weeks of our heat not working due to a thermostat/wiring mistake, I called pdq mechanical, a referral from a family connection. They sent Chase out to help us. We needed a new transformer, he didn't have one with him. He came back at 6pm that same night with the part to fix our heat! Taking time from his own family to care about our family! Awesome Service! Awesome Technicians! I am visiting my Mom from San Diego and her AC goes out in the middle of summer! I like to keep things local and PDQ was the first company I called (because she lives in Gilbert). Jeff came out, told us that the pump needed replacing, and then on further inspection told us that the pump probably wouldn't last, he quoted us a price, more than fair, and within a few days, VOILA!

Cool air. They were fast, efficient and so friendly. This is a family run business and I will brag about them for a long time to come. Thanks guys! BTW: Jennifer, their office coordinator is a hoot, all business with a great sense of humor!

I highly recommend PDQ Mechanical. They recently installed a ductless mini-split unit including all the electrical work. The installation was perfect and flawless. Eric, one of the owners, gave the estimate and described the work that would occur. Everything happened exactly as he said it would. He brought a crew with him, including the electrician. Eric is a consummate professional and knows the air conditioning/heating business better than anyone I have met.

I gave a review earlier that Yelp decided was not worthy of recommendation. However, I will once again just post my stars as to the satisfaction level and quality of service. I normally don't bother giving a review but PDQ's service was so outstanding, that I took the time to tell of my experience. I'm sorry Yelp doesn't like my long winded dialogue.

I called at 4:53 PM and talked to a nice lady at the office. She told me she would contact her service tech and call me back. I got a call back within 15 minutes and she told me someone would be at my house between 5 and 7 that same day. By 5:30, Chase was here to fix my air conditioner and was out the door by 6. It was fast, efficient service and they even came after their business hours. Great service and reasonable prices.

I was very impressed with PDQ. My A/C stopped working, I gave them a call, and they were able to come out the same day. Turns out the motor on my unit was broken. They fixed it right away. The bill was much lower than expected! Edit - I have to lower my rating. The compressor fan motor was replaced quickly, but they left it unbalanced. It is loud and putting undue stress on the unit. When we called them to come fix it a week later they said that this is how it is and wouldn't fix it.

I am extremely impressed with PDQ mechanical. I had some issues with a service company my home warranty sent out. After 7 days with no air in AZ, I got fed up and called PDQ at 4:30 on a Thursday. Chase showed up at my house at 10am on Friday to fix the unit. He did a complete diagnosis and determined that the previous AC company was completely wrong and had the wrong parts on order. He fixed the wiring and replaced a capacitor he had on the truck. He was done quick and was very respectful of our house. I would strongly reccomend PDQ Mechanical.
