Sustainability extends beyond the concept of collaboration with the natural world; it also has to do with being able to afford living a quality life in the place you love to call home.
We seek out homes and develop designs that work in concert with nature, while extending sustainability to our partners - we work with some of the best artisans and tradespeople in the community, and we honor them by treating them well, valuing their professionalism and paying them reasonable livable wages. We want you to feel educated and choose the products that are right for your budget, lifestyle and needs.
We do extensive research into green products, verifying their claims and ensuring that if you choose to use them in your project, they're non-toxic and eco-friendly.

We renovated our nearly 70-year-old home with Ethos, and I can't speak highly enough of this incredible team. They work hard, have fun, listen to their clients, and advise wisely. I trusted them completely, and now I live in a house that is modern, but true to the age in which it was built. It is a beautiful piece of art. I couldn't be happier.

We first worked with Sarah at Ethos Design+Remodel+Real Estate when we had a flood in our bathroom. Sarah led us through design and product decisions we would have never thought to consider. The result was a unique updated en-suite that reflected our personal style. When it was time to update our stuck in the 70's kitchen Sarah was the only person we considered.
And again we were not disappointed. Our updated kitchen melded the historic aspects of our home with modern amenities. The result was a spacious and stylish cooking, eating, entertaining spot that looked like it always belonged in our 1949/1979 blended home.
