Your countertops have been sealed prior to installation. If you purchase your stone from Da Vinci Stone, your stone has been sealed with a 15-year sealer, so you won't need to seal your stone for some time. However, if you have a granite counter not from Da Vinci, you will need sealing every couple of years depending on the stone's porosity and your daily use of the countertops.

I've been using Davinci Stone for years now for counters! I recently had a full scale remodel I sourced quartz counters through them and the finished product looks amazing. We had a few hiccups along the way but they were quick and responsive to get things done for my move in date. Highly recommend!

First off, they tried to sneak a broken countertop by us when we purchased our new home 2 months ago by gluing the corner back on. hoping that we wouldn't notice it. Then, when they had to come and do the warranty work they didn't show up (even tho it was on my, the builder, and the plumber's calendars) - the plumbers came that morning and removed all of our kitchen sink plumbing - only to have to come back at the end of the day to set it back up for us. Finally, they show up to replace the counters - but tell the plumbers that they wouldn't be done in time for the sink to be reinstalled.
They were finished by 1pm. The plumbers had us on the schedule for the end of the day. So here we are, going on several days without a kitchen sink. Not that we had a choice with this one, but if we ever need this type of work again in the future we would not return.
