We just wrapped up a 6 figure remodel with Strite involving demolition of the back of the house, followed by a rebuild and expansion of those rooms. Here is my breakdown of my rating: Construction (Strite crew and subcontractors): 4.5 stars. The Strite construction crew was great to work with. Hard working, friendly and overall their work quality was very good.
We did have issues with the drywall contractor. I talked with both the Strite project manager and the Drywall boss and asked them to specifically not to texture some of the dry wall. I even put up painters tape to mark of the areas that I didn't want textured but then they just sprayed right over it despite having a conversation with both of them.
Oh well. Project Management: 3.75 stars. Ed is a super nice guy and very good project manager but could work on his communication and follow up. There were multiple times I would text or talk with him and the answer would be "we'll get it done". But sometimes it didn't seem to get done or it would take multiple conversations. Wrapping up the project also seemed to be a problem. Officially the project was suppose to wrap up in mid-September.
I expected it to run past this date but Strite stopped showing up in late October. I had to contact them about finishing up a few, very minor, items. I eventually had to write them an email stating I would hire someone else to finish the final items and subtract the cost from my final check. They finally showed up and finished up at the end of November. Design: 2 stars.
I felt the design portion of Strite was the weakest aspect of the remodel. There should have been a more critical review of the design. We were left with an odd space in the bathroom that is essentially unusable (I thought this would be a useable space during the design process but I think an experienced designer would have noted otherwise). We were also left with an odd roof line.
My largest disappointment was that during the drawing of the plans one wall was drawn in the wrong location. I discovered this error just after the foundation was poured but Strite refused to fix the issue. They stated that I would have to pay for it since I had signed the contract which included the drawing with the wall in the incorrect location. However, we had NEVER talked about moving this wall in and making the room smaller - who pays 6 figures for a smaller room?. Anyway, I had to pay the $1500 to move the wall back one foot to the original location. Overall, no I would not work with Strite again. For the cost of the remodel I would have expected more design review and expertise.

As the Lending Manager for a local bank, I am familiar with every contractor in the Treasure Valley and would not recommend anyone other than Strite. Character, Integrity, Professionalism and timeliness come to mind. Multiple projects for my family and I over several years and cannot speak highly enough of Michael and his team.

After some extensive research, we decided on Strite for the major remodel of our newly purchased fixer-upper. We could not have been happier. Strite delivered exactly what they promised in the most professional and timely manner. From the initial design (thank you, Michael and Sara), to the construction, to the finishing touches, we were continually impressed by the efficiency and knowledge of everyone involved.
As with nearly every remodel, we encountered some unexpected issues, but the team of Strite was able to quickly and efficiently deal with and resolve them. Having worked in Historic building preservation in Germany, my standards were pretty high. Strite met and exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Bob, Carl Jon, Jaman, Matt, and everyone else involved!

We needed to remodel 2 bathrooms in our home. The master-bath included removal of a bathtub, enlarging the shower and tiling, new flooring, toilet and new granite counter tops, glass shower enclosure. The hall bath included replacing tub, toilet and tiling above tub, new tile flooring and counter top. They did a great job and kept us in the loop all the time.

Strite design + remodel did a wonderful job remodeling our galley kitchen and opening it up to our dining room and living room. The house is now so open and airy, it is a joy to have company over as I am not hidden away in the kitchen. They did such a good job of keeping the work area sealed off from the rest of the house during construction.

If I could afford to have every square foot of my home revamped by Strite Design & Remodel, I would sign on the dotted line in a second! The bathroom that Strite remodeled for me turned out far beyond my expectations. Not only does it look great, but I know the quality of work and materials that went into it.

My family and I want to thank you for your involved, concerned, and courteous attitude. Rather than feeling stress about having strangers in my home, I feel that I have made new friends. Ed, Troy and Smokey, in particular, have gone out of their way to be helpful and informative even in matters that did not relate to the bathroom remodel.

There is no question that Strite was the perfect remodeler for our project. They are professional, clean, extremely organized and as a bonus, they are all very pleasant people to work with! We have had many friends and family members see our remodel and cannot believe the quality of work done by Strite. It seems every person I have talked to about their remodel had a hiccup at some point with their remodeler. We had none. We give Strite an A+.
