Had an A/C emergency on a 102 deg. Sunday. Called Tropic Air, and Josh returned my call promptly and was able to come out quickly. Fortunately, the issue was just a bad capacitor. Josh was professional, knowledgeable and fast. The cost was extremely reasonable for a Sunday call. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Tropic Air & Heat has great customer service from the office staff to the technicians, great rates, and timely service appointments. I have used them for general maintenance prior to my new HVAC unit. They used a Goodman which is out of HOU. They stand beside their products. They have a lifetime warranty on the unit and 10yr warranty on the compressor and parts. Best warranty in the industry. Hands down, they will always have me as a loyal customer.

We feel our home was blessed today by Bob Cameron. Bob and his happy crew; Mike, Aaron, Josh, Jeff and one other arrived at 8 A.M. By 4:30 they had removed the 5 ton, 17 year old heat pump, cleaned up the mess made by the previous ac vendor, and completed a beautiful installation. It was a pleasure observing a joyous skilled crew at work. We could not be happier at the results. Thank you all. Doug and Barbara

Tropic Air is the best! I called in the morning when I noticed my Ecobee thermostat wasn't working. Jeff was able to get two technicians out to my house early that afternoon and was even able to work around my baby's demanding schedule. When the two gentlemen arrived, they were very respectful and professional. They worked diligently and quietly (so important because I had a sleeping baby!) After 30mins or so, they had my thermostat working! Thank you guys! Highly recommend!

Travis Chrystie with RJ Construction recommended this family owned local business for my minor emergency AC repair. Jeff was very helpful and understanding about my need for same-day service since I was heading out of town in two days. My drip pan was leaking and eventually had water coming down from the ceiling and onto my smoke alarm monitor causing it to go off.
I needed the leak dealt with to prevent further damage. Jeff promised an early AM appt for the next day but would check with his crew if they could at least come out today to inspect the issue to determine how to repair it. Jeff called me a few hours later to say he could have his crew make the repairs this afternoon. They were in and out in less than a hour and were very courteous and helpful answering my questions. I found the price to be very reasonable and will now consider them for my annual service checks and future repairs.

I have used Tropic Air & Heat 3 times now and have not been disappointed. It is so refreshing to work with good honest people. I really felt like Mike was looking out for me and my family when I asked him to come out and give us a quote on replacing our system; he did a full inspection and gave us an honest quote, but didn't recommend replacing just yet.
When we needed a repair, he talked me through the options and gave me a great price. They have found a repeat customer with me for sure. Thank you Jeff in the office and Mike in the field.

I have done business with Tropic Heat & Air for over 25 years and they have always been fair in their pricing, expedient in their service and efficient in their repairs. In this day and age it is not easy to find that you have a friend in business but I definitely feel they are friends rather than just another business. I just had one of my AC units replaced. The price was very fair and the work was excellent. I had a small issue and Tropic Air was out quickly to get us up and running. Great to see the follow up was just as good as the work. The guys did a good job of cleaning up after the work was completed. All of my expectations were met. I highly recommend Tropic Air & Heat!

Very very angry with Tropic Air. Called them out to look at my system, that worked but was not cooling. The guy comes out, asks me if thats all thats wrong and I said I guess so. Thinking Im not the technician here, but I tol dhim it blows just not cool. He then checks the coolant and tells me I need a ton which ended up costing me 650 dollars. He leaves, the air still isnt getting cooler.
So husband gets home Sunday and hears all this, asks me questions about pressure checks and all the stuff that SHOULD have been done before he just filled my system with over 6lbs of coolant. I had no idea, again, Im no technician and trusted the one here from Tropic Air to do HIS JOB and be thorough. I trusted that he knew what he was saying when he said all you need is coolant.
Then he leaves. Come Monday my husband calls and gets them back out here to actually DO what a technician does, only to tell us yeah you have a leak. So basically they cost me 650 dollars for NOTHING. And then didnt even offer to make it right considering it was their technician who did the half assed job. I will NEVER use them again and in fact plan on letting everyone know about my own sad frustrating and angering experience. Screw YOU Tropic Air. Never ever seen such crap service and i have worked in some crap industries over the years. So angry. Sincerely, One P.O. customer who will NEVER be back.
