I used Max Plumbing for an exterior faucet replacement and diagnostic on kitchen faucet. Tommy provides the service. He was professional and explained the process up front. After the diagnostic he offered several options and gave me information to choose the best path forward. Exterior faucet looks great and screws on now instead of being welded on. I plan to shop for a new kitchen faucet and call Max Plumbing to install it. Good job!

Robert provided amazing service! Our AC went out on Thursday and we tried to get other companies to check things out but they gave us the runaround for 2 days but when we contacted Max Air and Plumbing they sent someone out the same day and got us back up and running at a great price! Everyone knows that this Texas heat is unbearable so we are so grateful that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice.

Robert Ray is highly knowledgeable about everything a/c related! He also answered a plumbing question we had. We had a slab leak in the middle of a bedroom. My experience with this company was excellent! I am VERY impressed! The lady that answered the phone was kind and understanding of our situation and got us scheduled the next morning. The plumbers, Bryen and Chris were absolutely wonderful! They were knowledgeable, professional and quickly found our leak and fixed it, even with me asking questions the whole time. We have a few more non-emergent plumbing needs, and I will definitely call them this week to schedule!

We were having some issues with our old AC. Not cooling like it should. Called these folks up, had an appointment super quick. Got me serviced, and up and running. Maliah was the person setting up the appointment. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. She knew exactly what we needed, and got us on the schedule ASAP. We own a large manufacturing facility outside of Dallas / Ft. Worth that had 6 large HVAC units. 3 of the 20-Ton units had failed, and we needed to move quickly to obtain and install replacement units. The project ended up being extremely complex due to the existing structure and location of the old units. Max Air worked with us to determine the proper specifications for the project.

Once determined, they were able to secure the necessary equipment in less than a week (amazing considering the lack of supply in the current market environment), work with our tenant to coordinate installation, and install the new units without any issue. Would highly recommend for any future commercial HVAC projects!

Everything came off as a sales pitch to replace both units. When all I needed was a blower motor and a capacitor. Started by putting down the fact that the unit is a York. Then the age b/c it is 10 years old. Then the fact that we could just keep replacing parts and in the long run cheaper to replace the unit. Then he want on yo point out the second unit is 20 years old and the Freon is running end of life. it all just seemed like a big scare tactics to spend thousands of dollars which is not what is needed.

When I did get a quote to replace the two parts which are needed the price was very high. The labor to replace the motor was 4x cost of the part. The labor to replace the capacitor was more than 10x. Total parts to buy online is less than $300. Technician's total bill was $1,677.80. There was a small savings if I would agree to sign up for an annual maintenance agreement and fee.

No thanks. I paid the $89 diagnosis fee and decided to do it myself. Not sure what has changed with the business model. In the past technicians did not try to take advantage of the customer with such hard sales tactics, scare tactics and huge prices.

I'm very happy with the whole process. Office staff was helpful and polite, polite and plumber came out within an hour, and got down to business. I filled blessed by their servant attitude.

The new system (HVAC) installed has exceeded all of my expectations. Electricity cost for cooling dropped 30%. Heating (gas) cost has not increased much despite rate hikes. Although the initial investment is not inexpensive the efficiency and reliability of the new unit more than makes up for it. I have had 3 different employees that came for service since I join as a member and they are all wonderful. Today is no exception, Patrick came today, performed his service and took time to explain what he did, what problem he identified, and what he would recommend. He is very attentive to my comment and concern, and able to come up with a follow up plan. I as a customer appreciate his sincerity and approach in providing good services.

Eric Hilton performed our bi-annual ac/heating system check up. He was very thorough and explained how to use our thermostat properly so that we can save on our heating bill. He really cares about helping the customer and it was greatly appreciated. Service: AC maintenance

We had previously had a company come out to do a service check on our AC units. They indicated one of them was not cooling properly, although it seemed to be working before that. After the visit, it was very noticeable that this unit was not working well. They quoted us over $1,000 to fix the issue, although quote did not indicate exactly what they would do.

I researched different companies to see who could come out to confirm the issue and found Max Mechanical. An appointment was scheduled for two days later and this morning Joe came out. He was extremely helpful and professional, showing us all the work he was doing inside and out and explaining to my wife and I all the readings he was getting. He duplicated the problem with our AC unit but it turned out to be a need for more coolant (which he took care of).

He will be coming out next week to search for the reason the coolant is low. It is now working fine. I was extremely impressed with him taking the time to explain things carefully, including maintenance we needed to do in the future. I definitely appreciate and highly recommend Joe and Max Mechanical for work you may need done.

Our compressor quit (on a very hot evening, of course) so I called the number of the folks who installed it. They're out of business now, but Max Mechanical took over the number and took care of me. I got on their list that evening, and the first thing the next morning, Eric Hilton came out and got us going. I'm an engineer who likes to learn stuff, so I nearly always observe repair people doing their work, but I think Eric was the first person who invited me to do so instead of me just tagging along. He was very personable and professional. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Max Mechanical.

Called them about replacing my A/C, they quoted me and began looking for the replacement, but never called me back. Then when I called back they said they couldn't find one. Couldn't be bothered to let me know.

Had a commercial air unit that other companies were saying needed to be replaced at a cost of $8000. Max came out and said they could fix it for $1000 so we hired them. Within 2 months the unit has gone down again twice and we've had to call Max and pay for additional service calls.
