Sherwin Electrical Services Sherwin Electrical Services, LLC was established in 2005 as a separate entity originating from Sherwin Electric Company, Inc., an industrial electrical contractor established in 1882. Sherwin Electric Company, Inc. was purchased by Irving Douglas, grandfather of Sherwin Electrical Services LLC owner David Douglas, in 1943 and is still owned and operated by the Douglas family to this day.

In 2005, David and Janice Douglas recognized a need in the residential market to have a seperate business dedicated to the residential client, offering unsurpassed workmanship and service. When establishing Sherwin Electrical Services LLC, we knew we had to establish very high standards in order to separate our business from the everyday electrical contractors, so we put in extra time and research to determine what the customers want and expect from their contractors.
Services
Indoor & outdoor lighting
Report
We can design lighting for your needs both inside and out. The correct lighting will enhance your living area and be much more pleasant to be around. Less eye strain and add beauty to your home.
Upgrades
Report
Older homes were built when the electrical demand was low, as a result the smaller electrical services may not meet the needs of today's home. It is a simple process to upgrade the size of the electrical service from 60 or 100 amps to 200 amps and install a new panel.
Dusk to dawn lighting
Report
Adding dusk to dawn light controls for outside will turn lights on automatically at night and turn them off at daylight. This provides security without having to remember to turn on or forget to turn off the lights, wasting electricity.
Ceiling & attic fans
Report
Fans are a good way to stay comfortable and save money. Ceiling fans can help cool in the summer and reduce your need of air conditioning and lighten the load on your A/C unit. Reverse the blades in the winter and help move the heat trapped at the ceiling. This will reduce heating fuel costs. Attic fans can help move air through the attic reducing humidity and temperature.
Circuit breakers
Report
These new circuit breakers will interrupt the circuit if it detects the slightest arcing due to faulty wiring, frayed wires or faulty equipment plugged in. This will prevent the possibility of fires caused by arcing electricity.
