These guys are the nicest and most patient people to work with. They stand by there work and keep their word when guaranteeing your happiness with the final result. We had a super complicated hexagon-shaped room that was difficult to measure and demo. The crew really did the best job keeping our house clean during the process. Bob was super patient with us as we definitely pay very close attention to the smallest details, and even came back after the job was completed and paid for to redo an area that wasn't to our standard. I cannot recommend these guys enough! His crew, Ruben and Joe are excellent at their craft. If you want your floors done right, hire them.

Bob is amazing to work with. I cannot say enough good things about this business. He is extremely helpful, follows through on his commitment, installation crew is excellent. During the recent snow storm, he came by to help remove the wood floor even though crew belonged to water remediation company. It is rare to find people of this class these days - helpful, great work, amazing customer service. If you need hardwood flooring, this business has my strongest recommendation.

Bob is great to work with and I'm glad I found them when researching for a company to replace my carpet with hardwood floors. The whole process was easy and it went smoothly. Bob and Hardwood Flooring Services have 5 stars on here for a reason. Super knowledgeable, responsive, awesome selection of styles/colors/prices and a really good team to handle the installation. We went with Hallmark Malibu wide plank for our entire first floor and staircase (see pics!). They did an amazing job with it and we couldn't be happier.

After getting the runaround from both the big box and other specialty flooring stores In town we decided to go to Hardwood Flooring Services on Burnet Road. We walked in and immediately felt at ease. Bob is knowledgeable about his products.

He showed us around the store and sent us home with a few samples. After deciding on the Brazilian Pecan, Bob came out to measure and provided a no nonsense quote within a day. We decided to move forward with the project. Our flooring was delivered to our home on time in order to acclimate and Ruben and his team got to work on the installation. Ruben's team was amazing, hardworking, and kept the site as clean as I've ever seen.

This is the second time we used Bob and his team. They removed 1000+ square feet of tile and older hardwood and installed beautiful new engineered hardwood. The crew was very nice, quick and did a great job installing and paid attention to the details, including making the existing molding look brand new & re-installing plumbing fixtures. We couldn't be happier from start to finish, highly recommend them to all who want a quality job.

Hardwood Flooring Services did an installation of herringbone white oak in my master bedroom remodel. I called several companies for estimates and ultimately felt that the service and reliability of HFS was going to be the best. They were prompt, hitting their timeline for delivery of materials and installation. Their installers and finishers were all friendly and willing to address any issues identified while on the job.

I love the way my new floors look! I will also add that a few months after the installation when I noticed some issues that needed correcting, Bob (the owner of HFS) promptly went above and beyond to address them quickly. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for new hardwood flooring!

We've worked with them on two projects now. They exemplify what it means to under promise, but truly over deliver! They are family run business -- very dependable, helpful and just a joy to work with. Andrea is very knowledgeable and helpful, and I'd probably consider her an expert in the field. Her father, Bob, was quick, helpful and extremely knowledgeable himself.

I do have to say though, one of my favorite people there is Andrea's husband, and here's why. My 5 year old was extremely fascinated with the work. He had no problem letting him sit and watch them work, and even went so far as to explain to him what they were do

We had just bought a new house in Austin and wanted to change out the old laminate and carpeting for engineered hardwood. We decided to give Hardwood Flooring Services a call due to all the stellar reviews online, and we're really, really happy we did so. Bob came out promptly to give us a bid and was happy to answer all of our questions. His crew arrived when he said they would, and did an absolutely beautiful job.

They worked fast, were super polite, left our place cleaner than they found it, and even came out later to replace a damaged board for no charge (we told them we thought it happened when movers brought in our furniture, not when they were laying the floor, but Bob wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with everything even though the damaged board likely wasn't even their fault). Basically, we couldn't be happier with our new floors and the quality of Hardwood Flooring Services' work, and we'll certainly be recommending them to our friends and neighbors.

Bob is great. We interviewed and got quotes from several other flooring companies, but chose HFS because of their reviews on yelp. Glad we did. After making our selection, and having one room completed, we realized we'd chosen the wrong floor for our style. We reached out to Bob in a state of panic, but his handling was nothing shy of first class.

The old floor was removed, the vast majority refunded, and the new floor installed with absolutely no delay in our project timeline.... And most of this was done while we were out of town, DURING THE HOLIDAY.

After going to Home Depot for a quote and getting the run around with install date being pushed back, I went to Hardwood Flooring Services and met with Bob. Within 2 weeks he had my floor measured and the beautiful wood flooring installed. His red have been with him for years, were professional and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this company, their products, and their quality of work!

We had such a great experience start to finish. The showroom staff was very knowledgeable and really helped us get exactly what we were looking for in terms of product. The install was priced competitively compared to other flooring companies we checked out, and communication throughout the process was awesome. The install crew was the best work crew I've ever encountered, hands down.

We were very impressed with their work and professionalism. Lots of vendors (painters, electricians, plumbers, etc) I've used recently I've thought "well they're fine, but I'll try someone else next time to see if there's better out there." I wouldn't try someone else for floors next time; without question I'd stick with these guys!

HFS installed engineered hardwood in our home. Reuben and Jose did an excellent job. They were incredibly conscientious about making the transition from the wood floor to the existing tile in the kitchen and powder room so that the wood and tile are exactly the same height.

We requested a proposal to replace the carpet with hardwood in an office, master bedroom and master closet. We had never done a carpet to hardwood replacement. We had a sample from a friend that we liked but it was discontinued. So were trying to match this as close as possible. We requested a proposal from Hardwood Flooring.

I cannot say enough good things about Hardwood Flooring Services. I recently bought a home and knew that I wanted to replace the carpet with wood, but didn't know much about it. One of the owners spent an hour with me showing me tons of different samples and helping me figure out what I liked. She gave me a few samples to take home. The service date ended up interfering with my painters' schedule, and Bob accommodated my schedule needs quickly.

I was struggling to organize the different contractors I had working on the house, and he was very understanding. The floors looked BEAUTIFUL when they were finished. The team was so quick! 1000 square feet in 2 days. The follow up really sealed the deal. A month after installation, I called with some questions about which floor cleaner to use. Bob answered my questions, then said he had an extra floor cleaner and offered to give it to me (this is $50 cleaner we're talking).

He personally DELIVERED the cleaner to my house that afternoon. I am so appreciative of everything Bob and his wife did for me start to finish, and I love my hardwood floors.

I just moved into a condo with vinyl floors upstairs and on the staircase. The original company did a poor quality job and I needed to change up the floors. My mother happened to have half of the square feet of wood I needed for my condo with a really nice brand of wood called Mirage. I thought I could save half of the money and called a few wood places, but they were unable to order the same wood. Bob came out the same day I called him and arrived on time.

I was late and he already measured and had everything organized before I arrived. I went to the showroom just in case I wanted other options that were cheaper and Ana in the showroom was wonderful to work with as well. My only hesitation was my hastiness to finish my renovation right away and these guys are scheduled a few weeks out. They are scheduled a few weeks out because the quality of their work is great. Bob's service is amazing and you can't find guys like him much anymore.

There were some problems with a stair rail in my place that was impossible to remove and he had some great ideas. His crew was able to come up with a solution that looks great. I will post pictures once my condo is finished with the renovations. I will be using Hardwood Flooring Services for my next place. I also found the pricing to be as competitive as doing a laminate floor with Costco and was willing to pay more for great quality and service.

Phenomenal company. We used Angie's List initially to find them and they came out and did a bid for our flooring. It was a big job that included tearing old tile in our kitchen before putting down hardwoods.
