Jessica Zuniga is one of the greatest assets that Freedom Solar has aside from their amazing solar power system. She is very kind, patient and attentive to my wants/needs. She has been great to work and interact with while I have been gaining insight on my projected production numbers. I am very glad that freedom solar has staff like this. It is every employers dream to have and employee like Jessica Zuniga. Once again thank you Jessica so much for your help.

Not at all happy. When we were going through the sales process, I asked Alex directly how much it would cost (roughly) to uninstall and reinstall the panels if we needed roof repairs. He said it would be about $2,000, more or less. This is about August 2020, no THAT long ago. Well, we need our roof repaired. They want $5,700! I am absolutely livid!

We had Chase come around for a quotation and consultation that lasted 2 hours. He left without giving us the pricing and promised a follow up call 3 days later. We never heard from Chase or Freedom again. Total time wasting exercise.

It took months to get our solar panels installed and then another few months to get it permitted, tested and finally operating. Finger pointing and MAJOR communication issues both with us and the City. Once they have your money, then you are stuck with them. Not a good experience.

I contacted freedom solar to get an estimate on my house, I provided them the optimum angle and direction for the panels to be most efficient, and let them know how much square footage I had available and how many watts I needed. They didn't care about any of that they just wanna screw flat panels onto your roof pointing any direction and get you to finance it. They probably called me 20 times after I told him not to call anymore they are like the ex girlfriend that won't leave you alone.

Freedom Solar has saved me thousands of dollars since I got the system, and their follow-up help is worth that and more. Always prompt, helpful and cheerful to work with. Great group, great product.

Ever get annoying robocalls from Paul at US Home Solar? I do. Every day. For years. I wanted to see which solar company is paying the robocaller for sales leads, so I played along and was transferred through four different Indian operators and finally arrived to a woman who said she would send someone from Freedom Solar to give me a quote.

Freedom Solar gave me the best options and while they were not the lowest price, they were the best price for the value of the system and the professionalism of the installation. Very happy with the end product and overall experience.

A new way to get the customers or this is what they think about you. This rep sent a message on my number by mistake when he wanted to send it to another rep who I had a conversation regarding solar installation a few months back. Electric Corporation in my area was bringing in the policies that goes against installing solar, so I was waiting for a verdict on that.

When I contacted them back, I got to know what you as a customer are for them. By the way I didn't get an email or a call from them at the time of the appointment yesterday confirming that 'I am a waste of time' for this Rep. Imagine how would they treat you after you commit to them for the next 25years of service and they have your money. Shameful!

I am currently dealing with Freedom Solar. I contracted with them more that a month ago. Simple 8KW SunPower Solar install. Last week I finally get notified that the install would be on Friday July 23rd and we were all set. I get contacted on Wednesday that they couldn't make the scheduled appointment and they would reschedule for Saturday. Ok, but strike one. Saturday comes and they bolt on the panels.

The install crew states the electrician would be there later the same day. The sales person Chris Smith arrives at my house at noon on Saturday, after the crew left. I have him on video with audio standing in front of my Nest Cam stating the electrician would be here the same day or Monday the latest. Saturday passes and no electrician. Just exposed wires hanging off the side of my house and un connected solar panels on my roof.

Strike two Monday comes and goes but no electrician that was promised. I contact the company and they responded that now it wont be completed until August 4th. After being promised that it would be done by Monday 7/26. Strike three. This company is proving to give promises that they can not deliver on. Next step will be the Dept of Consumer Affairs. You can not make promises on video and then not deliver. Unreliable and untrustable so far.

Freedom Solar was one of the companies I contacted for my solar installation. Matthew Villanueva, the consultant I worked with, was very helpful throughout the process in terms of helping me understand the available technologies and why their product and panel is superior. Matthew has been wonderful to work with. He is attentive, fast and always provide quick responds to my phones or emails. Overall, my experience with Freedom Solar was great right from the start because of Matthew.

They also did a job on installing the system; 2 hours installation which is the best and cleanest install I have seen in my neighborhood so far. Electrician also spent 3 hours to finish everything; Super fast, quick, and clean job.

I signed the contract with Freedom Solar in December 2020. I had a ground mount portion and a roof portion. They got some pipes in the ground by the end of the year. By mid-May it appeared to be producing electricity, and my first solar loan payments were due. By the end of May it was clear that NONE of the electricity was actually going into my house.

They promised to fix.then silence. Early June, I responded negatively to an internal survey and the Austin people got involved. One employee in San Antonio called me as a result, tried to tell me it was working fine, despite their own technician reporting that it was in fact missing 2 components necessary to feed to the house. Since then, nothing. It's now July 21.

Clearly from some of these reviews, they get some jobs right. I think that they have over-extended, hired crews that clearly don't know what they are doing, and as a result are doing incompetent work. I just wish I wasn't paying my electric bill and solar loan at the same time now. And that they'd call me back.

I was so impressed with Shane Thompson's knowledge, professionalism and ability to communicate the value of solar and meet the needs of my home. He educated me versus selling me. It was an easy choice to go with freedom solar because of him and the way he communicated the great products they have. After listening to 3 other companies, none of them came close to providing the relevant and useful information Shane and freedom solar offered to make the investment in solar an easy decision. I recommend going with freedom solar and giving Shane a call if you want a great experience.

I cannot stop laughing at their response! "We don't have anybody by that name". Omg people. (As I'm looking at their emails to me via their company name, info, appointment time). Again- be careful, lots of shady solar ppl out there, this is definitely one of them. But I love her response, classic dodge. Then they call and say (exactly how a user car salesman would sound: "Hey! We're super sorry and apologize." But would not address the issues or acknowledge anything wrong. Unprofessional and I'm reporting to the BBB. Clowns. Update: of courseeee they found My info and low and behold, that sales guy exists, but they take 0 accountability so I'm done playing.

From the beginning of my asking questions about their services Spencer was really clear and upfront about the process. He and his team kept me informed about the permitting process through the scheduling and the final inspection for the project. The work was done in a day. Freedom Solar's crew was clean and kind enough to let me big them with a couple questions. The app was easy to set up and track our power generation. Very happy with the whole process.

I don't know how how to write this review without sounding like a shill, because this company was awesome. I've had so many bad experiences with contractors/installers in the past and everyone should look to this company as the model of the great experience everyone should have. The communication, walking me through the process, the benefits and the follow-up after was A+.

They showed up with 4 trucks and it was started and finished in 6 hours. Who does that?!? They arrived on time and worked like clockwork. They've made sure that I know how to get the tax rebates and other bonuses. Can't say enough good things about them.

I have recently purchased a new home. The home came equipped with solar. A couple months after we purchased the home the inverter was showing a fault. I was researching companies that service my SMA unit. I found Freedom Solar Power and contacted them via their website. After I contacted them I realized the company is based in Texas. This was a problem as I love in California.

I received a call from Stefan at Freedom Solar and explained how I contacted them before finding out they were in Texas. Stefan continued to troubleshoot over the phone. After spending 25 minutes with him on the phone, we solved the problem. I really appreciate Stefan's willingness to help me out over the phone. Unfortunately I do not know anyone in the Texas area but based on the call I received I can say that Freedom Solar's customer service is great!

After researching and talking to several top rated solar companies, I went with Freedom Solar and it's been a great experience so far. Starting with the consultation with James Garbo, where he went over details about the products they install, the technology, warranty, installation to help us choose the best option within our budget. Within a few days they sent me documents detailing where and how they are going to place the panels.

The roof on our house is segmented with only a small section facing South and they did a great job fitting all the panels there except 2 which were placed on a West facing section. Running the system for 3 months, I am getting upto 90% of panel capacity on moderately sunny days. They were easy to work with, kept in touch on all the steps, took care of all the city, electric and HOA permits, financing.

In fact I didn't even have to be at home during installation and it went perfectly. Though they weren't the cheapest option, the 25 years warranty on all the components along with the great monitoring service from Enphase makes up for it. At the closeout meeting James again went over the details of the warranty and support and how to get the tax rebates.

After conducting extensive research with various top-rated solar companies, I am truly pleased to have chosen Freedom Solar as my main solar installation company. Freedom solar is simply the BEST solar company since they offer the best warranty, the panels are the best in the market and their staff (like Juan Gonzalez) are simply the best equipped to handle all complex questions regarding going solar.

I deeply appreciate the professionalism and dedication of my Energy Consultant (JUAN GONZALEZ) who assisted me from the very start. Juan was extremely professional and explain everything there is to know about solar installations intricacies and the great benefits solar offers. Unfortunately, due to an urgent unforeseen family situation, I had to postponed my solar project until I come back to my hometown :( Despite, the obstacles and personal situations I am encountering, I am convinced I will come back to Freedom Solar to resume my solar installations since there is still time to benefit from the federal tax rebates and Freedom Solar world-class costumer service. When i had an issue with the system tripping, the same person who sold me the solar system (Solar Bob) saw to it that a service team was deployed out to my house that night to resolve the issue, which definitely speaks to their commitment.

We had a Sunpower Solar Panel System installed by Freedom Solar Power in August of 2019. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly from our Salesman Eric, project manager, and the entire install team. The panels look fantastic on our roof, the install team and engineers took great care in their placement to ensure they had the best array for production without sacrificing curb appeal!

If we ever own another home Freedom Solar is the only company I would call. We're excited to make an environmentally conscious choice AND see savings on our electric bills! I recommend Freedom to anyone thinking about solar!

They worked quickly and were so nice! Up and running 3 days now.

Got hot today, turned on a/c. Our solar panels are putting out enough power right now to run our a/c, washer & dryer, 4 TV’s and other electronics ! And it is still sending some over to the electric company! Since we turned the panels on Thursday afternoon, we have only pulled 55 kwh from the electric company at night, and have sent 87 kwh to the electric company during the day!

That credit will go towards our bill at the end of the month. I am going to make sure we do all laundry and run the dishwasher only during the day when it is free for us to keep costs as low as possible. Love solar power!!!

It was a pleasure having Freedom Solar providing me with a high quality residential solar system and seamless primo service from start to finish. In fear of leaving someone out I will not mention all of the wonderful personnel at Freedom Solar who were part of my experience, but they were all great to deal with, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were caring of my concerns regarding the layout of the system and did a great job. I highly recommend them !

I’ve had FS for a couple of years now and their company has treated me very well and answered all my questions. I’m very happy with my solar system and their customer service.

After interviewing four other companies, I got straight talk from Freedom Solar. Once I made the decision to go with Freedom Solar, the entire process went smoothly and exceeded my expectations! Today, I enjoy practically zero electric charges (that's in terms of money not zaps) from the grid. I did get the CPS rebate and the Federal Tax credit on my 2017 tax bill!

Solar Panels installed 1 yr ago and have not had an electric bill and we are sitting a $300 plus credit on our electric bill. Freedom solar did a great job with everything for us Thank You.

Great experience with my Solar purchase all around! Sales was friendly and informed and made the process simple. Install team was in and out in a day and covered every detail from panels on the roof to conduit through the attic. Super happy customer and highly recommend!
