I really like the product and the installer was great. What I don't like is an upcharge of $75 for a steep roof when where the installer got on my roof was flat and then he had to step on part of the the roof that is at at 20 degree pitch. Not what I would call steep by any means. I called and talked with them and they said they would not remove the charge, wouldn't even consider it or talk to the installer to get their thoughts. Felt very much like I got gouged.

We were very pleased with the quality of work as well as the prompt communications regarding the replacement of our roof. Every person we came in contact with during the process was professional and courteous. We are very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend them!

Outstanding job done. Very highly recommend. Sean Bean and Greg X managed the job which was to install a small skylight and replace my roof that was damaged in the Snowpacylpse 2021. Did an outstanding job, respected my time and my home. The roof looks excellent! They showed up on time w the right number of employees and got the job done in just one day. Cleanup was meticulous. They also did skylights and R&R roof for a neighbor who is also very happy w the result. -Very highly recommend.

Sola-Lite continued to send me invoices for a job that was never complete. Each time they called to remind me of an "unpaid balance, " I reminded them of the "unfinished job." I asked to have the owner (or equivalent) contact me regarding the failure to complete the job.it never happened. Finally, approximately one year later, I receive another invoice for an unpaid balance.

I agreed to pay the balance if the unfinished portion of the job was removed.they agreed. I would not recommend this company to future clients and for personal renovations in the future.

Excellent communication! Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I worked with Greg, John, and Sean. All great guys! A+ *update* The solar fan stopped working and they replaced it under warranty. They attempted to charge us for it but then realized it was covered under their warranty.

Our company utilizes Sola Lite to provide skylight install/repairs to clients. Sean and his team has always been on time and preforms quality work. We had them remove and replace two large skylights at a surgery center in Austin, Texas. I was impressed with their work and have continued to use them on additional jobs. I highly recommend

We had four solar tubes installed earlier this year by Mark. He did an excellent job and was in and out in no time. He was very courteous and did a very clean job. We decided we wanted a 5th solar tube in our home and this time Johnny came our. He was punctual and extremely courteous. He too did an excellent job and we can't say enough about our Solar tubes.

The first 4 tubes have already gone through their first hail storm with no problem. This is a great company and it stands for quality. It's been an absolute positive experience working with them and I highly recommend them. Thank you Johnny for our 5th Solar Tube!

What a difference! My kitchen was so dark and wanted natural light. Sola-Lite|Solar-Tex was the perfect solution. Mark Stevens did a fantastic, professional, and impeccable job with the install. I had originally ordered one large 4 ft by 4ft skylight from Sola-lite. For reasons beyond both mine and the companies expectations, it was just too big once we started to get it installed. Sean and his crew worked with me and ended up giving me a fair price for two smaller skylights. The crew was professional and offered to work longer hours due to the set backs. I have only good things to say about this company and will use them again when the time comes. Please look below to see the amazing work this group is capable of.

I met these guys at the Home & Garden show and they took the time to explain all the great benefits of a solar attic fan in my garage to keep the temperature down. I was very impressed with their product and it sounded like the perfect solution. He also mentioned a 30% federal tax rebate - score! Good first impression. So I made an appointment for October 19, scheduled PTO and took the day off from work to give them my full attention in case they were able to do the install that day, and 20 minutes prior to my appointment I got a call saying that they were canceling.

The person on the other end of the phone didn't say anything else, except that someone would be calling me to reschedule my appointment.that was over two months ago. So much for first impressions. In the meantime I've called and left messages (no one ever answers the phone). I still get promotional emails from them though, that's how I learned that the 30% tax rebate expires at the end of the year. "Call now" it says so your project can be completed before the end of the year.

So with 4 days left in 2019, I guess I can say farewell to the tax credit, and just live with a hot, humid garage. Maybe if I had a huge project like whole-home solar panels that would've made them a lot of money, I probably would've gotten a call back. A simple garage fan just isn't worth the effort.

Love my garage fan! New build, so code no longer requires vents in garage, heat was crazy in summer with 2 cars in there. They came over, let me know the best solution, and I could not be happier now. They installed my garage ceiling exhaust fan (with a fire stop flap!) and vent in my garage door. Even installed a programmable remote to control it. Looks professional, commercial grade components, long warranty, runs quiet, and now my attic is so much cooler and comfortable. Definitely recommend these folks!

The difference of day and night! Our family room has been dark since we added a covered patio and our master bath did not have any natural light - Sola Lite has changed both rooms to well lit areas. Our Master bath is now well lit without any electrical lights and our family room no longer needs electric lighting during the day. Also, the solar powered night lights are a great. John, our installer, was polite and professional and helped us with choosing the right light filters available from Sola Lite. We could not be more pleased. I would highly recommend these units to anyone with a dark area of the house they need to brighten with natural light!

Absolutely loved it! Sola-lite did a fantastic job of assessing our needs and seeking to help us improve our lighting in the most economic and efficient manner possible while helping to ensure that the Solatubes fit within our house's design. It is unbelievable the difference that has been made! Very happy with the work, but even happier with the process and the Sola-lite "family." The solatubes are terrific! I cannot explain what a difference they've made. Turned our cave living room into a bright area. And, the hallway! What a difference it's made. The installation was quick and very painless. Great job! I plan on getting 4 more.

Today Solartex Installation Consultant (Rory) came to my home to install two attic fans. First I would like to say that he was prompt, he said 9:00 am and he meant it. He introduced himself, evaluated what had to be done and did it. Once he completed installation of the fans he went over the product again, advised me on how they worked and reviewed the product and service warranty.

We had a Tube Skylight installed in the kitchen area by SolarTex whose office is in Austin, Texas. It was the most welcome way to brighten the whole area. The salesman and the technicians, who did the installation, were very friendly and attentive.

Love the solar lights put two in my dining room and now adding one to bath Great reduction and service.

It seems that every time i have something done, or scheduled to be done at my home, there is always one problem after another. But not the case with SolarTex they showed up exactly when they were scheduled to. On a scale of 1-5, you get a 6 for great customer service. You were a great company to work with. Thanks

When I needed a source for solatubes for a client of mine, I found Solartex. But more importantly, we found Sean. What a wonderful installation experience he made it for my client. She is beyond happy with his work and the manner in which he conducted himself while in her home. In her words, He is a quiet, thorough and smart worker, a real pleasure.

I have now installed two 10 Solatubes myself and wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the results. The first Solatube was put in a dark interior bathroom which always required turing on an electric light. My wife requested this Solatube as a Valentine's Day progect, so how could i refuse?

Jeremy, the owner, took the time (about 45 minutes of back and forth) to explain to a newbie like me the superior difference between Solalite solar attic vents and costco's inferior solar attic vents. The materials used by solalite are much better and will last longer. They even offer a 10 year replacement warranty. WARNING! If you were to order from Costco and something went wrong, you'd have to send the unit back!

That means you'd have a HOLE in your roof for 4 or more weeks! Buy local and support local business. If something goes wrong with Sola Lite, you can have it replaced in a few hours. We love our new Solar Tex Solatube. Our interior kitchen had very little light. Most days we had to have the lights on even if it was bright and sunny outside. The Solatube has brightened up the kitchen so nicely.
