Circular Energy

This was good company. have they closed business from Richmond TX? please let me know I want to make again contract with them but I did not get any numbers

We had our solar panels installed last year with a total project cost of over $33,000. We did not have a monitoring system installed so we have no way of knowing how much we produce or use from the 24 panels installed nor any way of knowing if they are producing what we were told they would. We naturally thought a monitoring system would come with the purchase price, but when we inquired shortly after the project was completed, we were told it would cost an additional $800 for the monitoring system.

Now this of course would have to be an out of pocket expense because we could no longer incorporate the cost into the financing we obtained. For this reason, I only give them 3 stars

At one point in time I thought that this company was great, . however, if you ever have to have your system serviced, they are a NIGHTMARE! I have literally sent 15-20 emails over 1 year AND 2 months now and my system is STILL NOT WORKING! HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE CIRCULAR? Their service department SUCKS! So, if you are looking for a good old ROYAL PAIN IN THE ASS!, then go with these folks, and they will fullfill your wishes.

I had circular install a large solar array on my house, and they did a great job. All of Circular's employees were super nice (from the sales office, to the installers, and the young lady scheduling everything). The installers were very detailed--I even checked to make sure all lag bolts hit rafters, which they did. At one point, the electrician spent probably an hour or more on one complicated conduit bend so that it would be atheistically pleasing. No wires were left hanging, which I have seen on a few solar installs in my neighborhood. I highly recommend Circular Energy.

They've got a great team at Circular - very professional and responsive to any questions I might have. Lauren Bencini in particular is awesome and helped work with me on designing just the right system and methods to meet my financing needs. I don't usually write a review for a company I haven't finished doing business with, but am making an exception for the great work they've put in so far. Try them out!

I had my solar system installed in september. I waited until now so i had a gauge of how it performed over several months as well as time for any kinks to show up. I called 3 different contractors. All 3 used a mapping program to get an estimate of how well solar would work before installation. One company said solar wouldnt work at my house due to shading.

They were wrong. the remaining 2 companies send people to my house to do an onsite evaluation to finalize a proposal. Circulars was the one that seemed to fit my needs. My goal was to provide in the neighborhood of 60-70% of my electrical from the sun. Installation wasnt without flaws. the actuall installation took only one days. it turned out there was a problem with teh inverters that took a couple of weeks to correct.

It wasnt the fault of circular but was an inverter specific issue. Circular stayed on top of teh problem and got it resolved. after operating for 4 month my utility came out and said there was a problem, in that I had the wrong meter and no agreement with the utility. this was something I ahd though circular had taken care of. It turns out that the agreement WAS in place and the utility had misplaced it. Thats why the utility hadnt replaced my meter.

They came out and met a circular rep and the meter installation took only a couple of minutes. Again I cant fault circular for someone elses issue. Getting solar installed isnt a simple process. there are many steps that have to be gone through. Fantastic experience! I did my normal due diligence by requesting three quotes for as large a solar system as I could fit on my roof. Not only did Circular Energy quote me the largest system of the three, but also, by far, the lowest cost per installed watt.

The company works in a very professional and responsible fashion. I have nothing but good words for the company and folks who work for them. The person I was dealing with (Brooke Marshall) was always very polite and personal in all her communication. She was always responsive and took care of matters with extreme efficiency. When I received quotes, I found that they charge a little higher than the competition but they more than make up for it with the quality of service they provide which is way above the industry norm.

They always put the customer above everything else. It was a completely satisfying experience though I wish it would have taken less time but it was due to events beyond their control. They worked with me on several occasions to get me the system that I wanted. I admire their absolute dedication to give a PV system which I am and will be proud of for years to come.

I was intentionally waiting to write this review after having gotten my Solar installation done in August so I could factor in the impact on my energy bills over several months. The process to getting solar panels installed isn't a quick one no matter who you go with.

I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, I wanted solar panels for my home and contacted Circular Energy. I received an email from Paloma Guerreo, and she said there were issues with the number of trees in my yard. I have three 60 year old Oak trees which are very special to me. I called and talked to Paloma, and I said that I wanted Solar panels, and would trim the trees.

I have never worked with a company that actually talked me out of my idea, because it would cut one in half and another would be trimmed to a stick. Another company tried the hard sell, saying it would increase the value of my home, which it would not, but also destroy the trees I love. Paloma shoots from the hip and told me things that I did not want to hear, but needed to. Because of her honesty, and forthcoming, I still have my Oak trees, and would recommend Circular Energy to anyone who wants Solar Power. They are a 5 star company!

This is one of the best decision's I have ever made. This system has been paying for itself. Cost of my electric and payment of the solar combined is LESS than what I us to pay just for electric. So I am still making money while paying for the system.

Please ask for Paloma Guerreo when emailing or calling for information on Solar panels for your home. I wanted them for my home and Paloma was straight forward with me, at first, more than I wanted to hear. After researching Google Earth, I was told that my three 60 year old oak trees, which we love, would have to be cut so much that it would ruin the beauty of the trees. Paloma said that it would be my decision, but we opted not to get the Solar panels, and save our trees. No hard sell here, just true honesty, and professionalism. They are 5 stars to me, and would recommend Circular Energy to anyone.

The project proposal was very comprehensive and Circular was very responsive. I would recommend Circular wholeheartedly.

They answered all my questions with plenty of detail and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I have plans to live in this home for the foreseeable future, and solar made an excellent case as a long-term investment. If I had to give advice to anyone else considering solar I would say be patient, take advantage of the rebates offered by the government and utility companies. And make sure to work with a company with good communication and transparency.

I am very happy that I chose Circular Energy for my residential solar project. From the start, they were able to customize their design for my application that best fit my needs and provided the most cost effective solution. As the project progressed, I found that all of their employees that I worked with were customer-focused and committed to answering my questions and resolving my concerns. Melissa, the rep I was working with, was very helpful with getting the paper work done for the solar rebates. In fact, she did all of it for me and just showed me where to sign.

In the end they installed a high quality solar array on the roof of my house at a great price. I can't recommend them enough. I will be getting them to do another install on my country home next year. They are just a great bunch of people to work with.

They did what they said they were going to do, completed the work in the planned time frame, and the system performed(s) as expected. We also used them for a second array and it went just as well. Circular did excellent from start to finish of my home 6.24 kW PV system. From the first contact I had with Jennifer until even after the project was completed, Circular exceeded my expectations in every way. Everything was done according to schedule, according to budget, and with attention to detail. Even when I voiced concern about the conduit being bare metal in appearance and not matching the roof, Circular sent someone out right away to paint it in a matching color. Jennifer took the time to walk me through the entire process so there were no surprises and no disappointments.

Even after the project was completed and the unit commissioned, Jennifer and Vincent came out to show me the system and to walk me through all the inner workings. Based on my experience, I would recommend Circular without reservation to anyone considering installation of a solar unit.
