We have been using Brown's Heating and Cooling for years and have ALWAYS been impressed with their services and staff! I have spoken with April many times over the phone and she is so incredibly kind, communicative and professional. She always returns my phone calls in a timely manner and works us into their busy schedule if we are having issues with our unit.
We strongly rely on their services because of my son's health and they have always been such a pleasure to deal with. All of their techs are so friendly and respectful when they are servicing our unit, this speaks volumes with this type of business. This business has never overcharged us for their services and they are very fair with their pricing. Cristian was the tech that did the maintenance on our AC unit last week and he was great to work with.
He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and detailed in explaining what he did/the services he performed and gave us some great advice on how to keep our unit running at it's best this summer. We appreciated him taking the time to wear shoe covers when going coming into our home (all of their techs have done this for our family over the years and we are so grateful).
I have recommended this company to my friends and co-workers and they have all been so happy with their services as well. Brown's Heating and Cooling deserves all the positive recognition.they are an HONEST and reliable local company to do business with!

We have used Brown's for years, everything from routine preventative maintenance to full furnace and AC replacement. We have always found their service top notch. Last week we had the pleasure of their service technician Mike come in and do a routine PM of the AC unit and were very pleased with the service. My installation team was Josh and Kyle who were professional, friendly and user-friendly. They laid down protective plastic on our stairs down to the utility room and kept me informed of every aspect of the work. They answered my questions with straight forward clear terms. Overall I could not have asked for a better installation or a better team to do it. They will certainly get my future business.

Do not use this company! They do very poor work, lie, and tried to sell me a fan motor or furnace to cover up that their work caused the problem. On November 3rd 2021 I called Brown's Heating & Cooling out when the fan for our A/C and furnace would not turn on. They said that the problem was that the control panel was bad and so we had them replace it.
I called the next day because the fan started to smell like something was burning after running for a few hours, shut off, and would not start up again for another few hours. When the second technician (different from the one that installed it) came out they said that nothing was wrong and that everything was fine in a very rude way. He then suggested that we replace the blower motor and get a new furnace.
We declined because this sounded very suspicious since we have everything serviced regularly and our service technician said our unit was fine a few months prior. The problem continued every time we turned the fan on for long periods of time so we simply stopped using this function of our unit. After three months it did the same thing but this time when the fan was on auto.
We decided to get a second opinion since Brown's technician was suggesting replacing the whole furnace. Upon calling a different company, we found that the control panel that Brown's had installed was visibly fried after only 3 months of use (that was the burning smell). After replacing it again all of the problems with the fan were resolved and we can now use our unit the way we did before Brown's came out.
According to the technician who fixed Brown's mistake (who also has been servicing our unit for a few years) the control panel wiring was done improperly. Also a 5 amp breaker was used when it should have been a 3 amp, a pressure switch was left dangling, and screws were left in the door tract that cause a corner of the door to be bent when closing. Seems pretty straight forward, a part was installed improperly, failed after three months, the part was replaced AND wired properly, the problem was resolved.
I called Brown's to discuss a refund and emailed them pictures of the improperly wired control panel both installed and after which clearly show the burnt parts. After trying to give me the run around, asking me why I didn't call them back to replace my furnace (as if that was ever the problem) they lied to me and told me that the control panel only had a one month warranty and refused to give me the refund.
I called the manufacturer and confirmed my suspicion that the part actually had a one year warranty after installation. Now if the part were the problem then it should be no issue for Brown's to use the manufacturers warranty to get their money back. I suspect that they don't want to go this route since the part is so obviously not the problem, nor is my unit since it is running perfectly now. That leaves only one factor, the installation.

Shawn was my service technician this morning. He helped be understand more fully the two stage furnace system (new to me) that came with the house I bought three weeks ago, and also the features of the thermostat which has some, but not as many, features as the thermostat in the house I left. I appreciate his time in answering my questions and educating me. I have a higher level of how this system works and what to expect from it. Great information for me. and a sense of peace of mind. This company is absolutely amazing. We had a flood in our cabin and we received a referral from a neighbor. They were very sympathetic to our situation and sense of urgency. They literally had a technician there within 20 minutes of when I called them. The technician Sean called me upon arrive for clarification of our needs once he could physically see the setting and risk of damage.
He then did a full analysis of our damaged furnace and duct work and he called me back with a full assessment of the damage and needed repairs. He then said he would have a full estimate of repairs for my insurance company within 24 hours. Their level of service completely exceeded my most optimistic hopes for how this process would evolve. I would give them a 100 out of 100 for service, responsiveness and respect for the adverse situation that I was dealing with. I will be a customer for life after this experience.

Service: annual furnace maintenance from Brown's. Shawn, the technician, called in advance that he was on his way, arrived promptly as scheduled, checked and cleaned our furnace and showed me (per my request) how to change the filter on the furnace humidifier, so we can do a mid-winter filter replacement. Pleasant, personable, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent service. I highly recommend them.

Mike H was awesome! He was able to get to the bottom of our issue quickly, and was able to identify the parts that were malfunctioning before they went out of warranty saving me a lot of money in the process. I found Browns heating about a year ago and had an awesome experience with them and the technician Mitchell. However recently just moved into a new home and wanted to do a service on my AC unit. Mike arrived earlier and gave some great insight and feedback on doing maintenance on the heater rather than the AC due to the heating season coming along. Gave me some great tips on some home improvements and we went forward with cleaning the heater.
To my surprise we found some large plastic bag pieces, extremely grateful Mike recommended to do this inspection and prevented any damages that could of happened! Great service and highly recommend Browns Heating! Thanks Mike for the work and great conversation. Will continue to do business with them and recommend to all friends and family.

Mike Highland was here today to do our annual furnace maintenance and water panel maintenance. We bought the house a year ago, the furnace is older and Mike gave us confidence that it was in good working order and that the support was there when it comes time to replace it. Brown's was recommended to us from several of our friends. We wanted to get advice/pricing on mini-splits and/or forced air. Richard was very informative and easy to work with. He gave us a great deal. His team, Cristian, Josh, and Justin were amazing. They were professional, technically savy, and got the job done. Arrived on time on the scheduled the date and completed the job as promised.

Earlier this year my Tech, Mitch, installed a humidifier on my system. He was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about the system and it's operation. Mitch did the install quickly and was even able to give me a discount (shhh!). Secondly, today (8/25/2021) Mitch came to check out my wet utility room. Again very friendly. He diagnosed the problem quickly (clogged a/c drain), he provided the options and made a reasonable recommendation.
He outlined the process, the cost and even the amount of cleanup necessary. The repair was quick, the price for repair+service charge stung but less so than the cost of a new hot water heater, which I thought could have been the problem. All-in-all I am extremely pleased with Brown's and especially Mitch! I will ask for him specifically for any future needs.

Cristian and Josh installed a ductless AC system in our master bedroom and did a fantastic job. There was very small clearance between the wall and the edge of the chimney, but they managed to install the system exactly where we wanted in and explained everything in great detail. The system works great and we can finally sleep on even the hottest days.

Just moved into our Woodmoor home and there was a Brown's Heating sticker on the furnace. We had several quotes at our rental property, all were way higher than Brown's. We had them install AC at both houses, absolutely exceptional. My first call to them, Lisa answered, super friendly, professional, and so organized. Ed came out to give an estimate, and another great interaction.
He was very knowledgeable and gave options while explaining what and why in my language. Kyle andJustin showed up on time, clean, professional, very polite and respectful. Totally acknowledged and engaged with all my questions and had all the right questions for me to understand what I wanted. The install was a bit of an issue, our house is like that. Kyle and Justin's work ethic was unmatched, they didn't even break for lunch, they were here for almost 11 hours (we fed them, they didn't ask, and were extremely appreciative). Phil the owner came out to help with a few issues, this guy knows his stuff, and super cool.
I loved the way he treated his employees. Kyle and Justin communicated with us the entire time, I feel like an HVAC expert now! Can't boast enough about how amazing Brown's Heating and Cooling is. I decided to replace my furnace which was original to my 1982 house. Richard came over and talked to me about the various heating and cooling options for my size house. I always felt he was very honest with me and not trying to upsell any products. Josh and Cristian came over for the installation process. They were very mindful of protecting my flooring in my entry before they even started the furnace work.
They were both very polite and friendly, and they cleaned everything up very well when they were finished. I absolutely recommend Brown's Heating and Cooling for anyone who is needing this type of service.

Brown's installed an air conditioning unit for me in May 2018 and I'm absolutely, 100% satisfied with every aspect of the work they performed. They were timely, professional, detail-oriented, and transparent. When the county inspector came to examine the finished product, he mentioned several times what a fantastic job the HVAC installers did and wished that all the installations he inspected were performed at that level of quality. I can't recommend Brown's enough.

I decided to clean my furnace the night before one of the first cold snaps of the fall. While cleaning it, I broke something (it worked before I cleaned it) and my furnace no longer worked. I called a neighbor, who is an electrician, for a HVAC recommendation and he suggested Brown's Heating & Cooling.
