My husband and I have worked with so many contractors for home renovations and Texas Flooring Professionals are by far the elite in flooring. The floors are absolutely beautiful. The photos here do not even do Justice to how gorgeous they are.

Most superb work we have had. If you are out here searching for a reliable, responsible, fast and easy and trustworthy business. Stop now. You found it! Cannot thank you all enough! We are so thrilled! Definitely having this company do our tile work next!

We had the worst service provided by this team out of any hired workers to date. We flip homes for a living and have yet to come across this level of unprofessionalism. First, the team they sent made an absolute mess. I mean, every inch of my floors and ALL of the walls in the house were covered in floor adhesive until about 3 feet up the walls. To their credit, they sent a team of better workers to clean up the mess (which took one full day of work) and they tore up half the flooring laid.

They had to buy more boxes of our flooring to be able to do the job. Once the team was done doing a *satisfactory* job, we needed the baseboards finished (they left many un-caulked) and the flooring to be fixed in some areas where it wasn't well installed. The owner proceeded to slowly ghost me at that point, as they had already received final payment. All in all, they made us spend more time, more money and most importantly - hours of my time scraping adhesive off of all my walls that I simply can never get back.

We just got our new floors put in. The crew came out and knocked out the demo in record time, got the floors and baseboards installed a full day ahead of schedule. There wasn't any sacrifice to the quality of the install. The crew was friendly, professional, and efficient. I would recommend Texas Flooring Professionals for anyone looking for new floors!

Jason from Texas Flooring Professionals did a wonderful job on an engineered wood floor for my mother. Her house was flooded due to a malfunctioning washing machine that required her to move out of her house for the duration of the drying out, demo of the ruined floor and the installation of the new floor. We visited numerous flooring stores trying to find a similar floor to be installed and all the stores we visited showed us similar flooring but it would take at least 3 weeks to just get the flooring delivered to Lockhart. Jason understood the rush to get my mother moved back into her house and he went above and beyond to locate an acceptable engineered wood floor that was in a local warehouse and he was able to obtain the flooring and get it installed in 1 week. The floor looks great and my mother is back in her house. Thanks so much Jason!

They exceeded my expectations in every way! The craftsmanship of installing the wood floors was top notch. The team installing were friendly and thorough. I cannot recommend them enough!

This is the 2nd time I've worked with Texas Flooring Professionals due to their quality of work. The first time I used them for tile installation for my guest bathroom and the job was completed 2 days later after my request. This time around I requested their help again after a major bathroom remodeling for my master bathroom and the job was finished within three days.

The tile work is done beautifully and I'm very satisfied with the end result. I saw their contractor leveling everything out to make sure all the tiles are leveled correctly and he paid attention to every little details to make sure things are done correctly. The price is cheaper than other companies that I've received quotes from as well. I would definitely use them again for future projects.

This is the second time I've used Texas flooring and professionals. I continue to use, and recommend them, because they do good work and are FAST! They're not the cheapest, but my momma always said "you get what you pay for" and I got quality floors! They made a couple of small errors during installation but were quick to fix it and make it right, at no extra charge. That's professionalism!

Please, for the love of all that is holy, BEWARE and AVOID AVOID AVOID this company. UPDATE 2018: I just wanted to post an update on our floors after our nightmare experience with this company, who claimed in court that their shoddy work (which we found to be a breach of contract, as they did not install a floating floor as promised) was the fault of the cracked foundation. Well, it's been two years now, and the replacement floating floor installed by another company still looks perfect.

There has not been ONE single instance of buckling or warping such as you can see in my photos below of Texas Flooring Professionals' job. The problem was not our foundation, but the fact that TFP company did not install the proper floor as agreed, and then would not fix their work. BEWARE AND AVOID. ******************************************************************** I am posting in the text of my Yelp Review, to save typing.

I should note that I'm disturbed to see, yet again here, mentions of lawsuits being filed by this company for payment against (presumably similarly) dissatisfied customers -- followed by threats to sue those disgruntled former customers for "slander." Relating dissatisfaction and negative experiences is not slander, and I have reported them to Yelp for threatening reviewers.

In our case, we certainly paid this company. They did not sue us; we sued them. We called to ask for advice regarding cracks in our foundation before they went to work for us. They twice represented to us that they would install a floating floor to deal with possible moisture issues from the cracks. We cleared the room (twice, a job that took 2 days each time) and bought flooring and underlayment at their instruction (twice), and TWICE they ignored the underlayment and just glued down flooring over the cracked slab.

The first time, our daughters' floor buckled horribly within 8 months. The SECOND, time they didn't bother to re-install the floor as promised at all. They just pulled up and re-glued a few planks! Those buckled again within 48 hours (see photos). We lost a lawsuit for damages against them this week somehow, despite reams of supporting materials documenting their various misstatements, and it was the final massive headache to add to a YEAR-LONG headache of the botch job they did on our daughters' room.

As of this writing, we may appeal, on the principle that this may be some sort of pattern for them and we'd love to see it stopped. We have never sued a contractor before despite hiring many people for a variety of jobs around our house. We've been happy with deck builders, house painters, carpenters, you name it -- but these guys take the cake. BEWARE. (15 minutes after my Yelp review went online, Texas Flooring Professionals replied to me!

That was amazing, as when they were working for us, you couldn't get hold of them for love or money). The reply didn't even threaten to sue us for slander. :) It was as follows: **I understand you are upset that the court ruled and again notified you that you have foundation issues.** They seem to have to tell a LOT of people that they understand they are upset about what happened in court.

In any case, the foundation was why we CONTACTED TFP. They saw our foundation issues and recommended a FLOATING FLOOR that they twice did not install. **Please take note that you also did not purchase your materials from us and are still using and walking on the floors that are not affected by your foundation crack.** No, we are not -- we finally gave up on them and had a real flooring professional, EL FLOORING, come rip out their shoddy, buckling, leftover work and install a floating floor as they twice promised to do. Miraculously, he did the work. It looks great.

We used Texas Flooring Professionals to replace the carpet in all three of our bedrooms. We went with a beautiful 7 Oak Coretec and we could not be happier! Ashley and Billy were extremely easy to work with, as were their entire team. The crew was able to completely finish our house in one day! They did an incredible job and our house looks beautiful. The installation fast and efficient and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking to get a great quality floor!

Billy and his crew did a great job on my floors. They demolished over 1700 square feet of old Spanish tile and installed beautiful new wood-look tile. Gabe and Luis were very detail oriented and pleasant to work with and Billy was very easy to communicate with via text and phone call. I'm really happy with the finished product!

Steve Osiecki and his crew did a fantastic and perfect job. They laid travertine flooring for our entire main floor. Steve and his crew worked hard moved furniture and put back when through. The job was over 2,000 square feet and was done removal of old wood and tile floors and new floors in just over 3 days. They even installed tile base boards in "wet" areas per request.

We Loved the job Steve and his crew did and continue to get complements with each friend and anyone who comes to our home. Steve and his crew are just the best workers to deal with friendly, courteous, and delivered what was promised and more.

I can't say enough positive things about Texas Flooring Professionals! My husband and I decided to replace the floors in our home and were recommended to use Texas Flooring Professionals after purchasing our wood through Hardwood Bargains. As someone who has been through many home renovations I was honestly dreading the experience of replacing our flooring.

But soon after our installation team arrived I felt extremely comfortable with the whole process! Our installation team was on time, very professional and did great work. They were extremely knowledgeable about the whole process and I felt comfortable the whole time knowing we were in such good hands. We replaced our entire downstairs, staircase and upstairs walkway and I couldn't be happier with the work. They did a good job on my upstairs bedroom but when it got later in the evening and they were working on my office they got sloppier and it is just too much to take it up. At one point they had 4 of the small wood pieces right in a row right outside my office. Billy did have them come out multiple times to fix a few things, but still frustrated on the way the office was laid, but just have to learn to live with it.

My advice for anyone installing wood is to look at how it is laid and have them only use the long pieces of wood. Make sure it is random and that the seams don't all line up. If it is a small room watch even closer. And watch as they are putting it down, because taking it up later is hard :/

I inquired about having engineered hardwood flooring installed for this summer (2015). I setup an appt. with Eddie and he showed me samples of the different products they carried. I liked the fact that he was thorough and patient (as I tend to be inquisitive by nature). He did a great job taking the floor measurements and giving me an estimate to the T.

We just had all the carpet in our home replaced with hardwood from Hardwood Bargains in Austin and installed by Texas Flooring Professionals. Our shipment of flooring was delayed about a month due to a longshoreman's strike and throughout TFP was flexible and patient as the installation date changed and were able to jump right on it once the shipment finally arrived.

The decision to work with Texas Flooring Pros was a no brainer. I have been referred to this company time and time again and I stand by their work and commitment to quality. There is a reason they are listed as fast responder on Yelp! I got an estimate and within a few days I had a crew of eager men working diligently at my home.

They did an excellent job, and you couldn't even tell they had been there because they left it very neat. The trim they installed was done well. It all looks so nice.

The only con is there were several places where fingerprints were on the wall and a few places where there is glue on the wall - wall was newly painted. Small spots, and very few, but thought I should be totally honest. Great job; and Rigo was a straightforward guy. I would definitely hire them again.

They provided me with a very competitive quote compared to other companies I had already spoken to. Billy was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If a problem occurs they'll fix it, period. They brought initially the wrong pad. Talked to them, acknowledged, came with the right one within an hour. 2. His install crews are very good. I liked them, very decent hard working guys. They did a very good job, very satisfied. 3. Billy inspected the work the next day, made sure we are happy. 4. Payments and billing very straightforward.

I paid, 1 minute later the invoice was in my inbox. My conclusion: used them, I like them. You can't go wrong. They'll make it right to you. One more thing. One week after the install was done, I realized I forgot to tell them to install carpet in a very small closet. Called them, their response was, yes we'll come, we'll install it for free don't worry. What can I say, judge for yourself!

I was passed to Texas Flooring Professionals by a hardwood distributor and they promptly came out to measure and quote. The guy who came to our place was professional and efficient. He measure the whole house, asked the necessary questions and returned a quote to us the same day. We had three quotes and they all fell within $250 which on a 3300sqft job showed me they were all competitive. In the end we went with another company that had been personally recommended but I would have been very happy to use Texas Flooring Professionals

I would like to give no stars. This company was anything but professional in our experience. Floors are very uneven, my floor has more hollow spots then not and they didn't screw in joists to subfloor on 2nd floor. Warranty is joke they wouldnt fix just a few days after. The owners of company are very difficult and were unwilling to fix problem.

Check bbb orher negative comments. Make sure they tarp your house and tape rooms off they are working in or better yet use a company that cares about your home and property. I believe its better to spend a bit more it's worth it in the end. Good luck. If you do good honest work you don't need to lie. What flooring professional would say they would lay flooring down with out leveling floor or securing sub floor down. Why would you say you don't do that. The sub floor is 50% of a quality floor. But you know that because you are professionals. I had three companies come after to show floors and they all agreed bad work.

You can show whatever pictures you want. But I have videos and it clearly shows hollow spots, un level floor and creaking on 2nd floor. This site's intention and my intention is to give our true experience with your company.

The guys that actually did the work laying our hardwood were PHENOMENAL! Absolutely great job! I couldn't be more pleased. There was some miscommunication with the supervisor as far as when the team was supposed to be there the first day. Sitting with three kids in an empty house waiting for 3 hours wasn't fun. After that initial miscommunication, things got better. I didn't feel ths t I should have had to track down the team. I expected a phone call if they were to be late. I would definitely use them again, even with the waiting!

Great job! Very professional and friendly. We received an installation quote on Friday and they started demo and installation the next day. +1100 sqft of tile/carpet demo and wood floor installation was completed within 72 hours of the quote. The installation crew was helpful and did a quality job. We've had the floors for a month now and no issues have come up. I'd easily hire them again.

These guys are pros at installing floors! Plain and simple. We hired them to install wood floors in our house. As first time wood floor buyers, we were a bit unsure of what to expect. We were referred to TFP by Hardwood Bargains who we bought our floors from. Their crew was very professional and always willing to go the extra mile when we had a few follow up tasks that needed to be addressed.

The original measurements that were taken ended up being incorrect, but TFP took care of it when it came time to providing the final invoice. The installation crew was friendly and very focused. They did a superb job and got the whole house done in two days. They were professional down to the last detail. For example, we arranged for them to install baseboards in the entire house that I supplied. I guess I expected to go back and caulk them myself but the crew took care of that. They also installed quarter round in the kitchen at no extra cost.

The floors are perfect, and the total cost was about a thousand dollars less than had been quoted to us by one of the big box home improvement stores. We could not be more satisfied.

PERFECTION! I can't say enough about TFP - Christian was reliable and thorough. His crew were a pleasure to have in my home- very respectful and tidy and most of all TALENTED! We had a difficult job. I have a Brazilian cherry floor that had been damaged by previous company. We had another company refinish approx 2000 sq ft of floor in our large home.

It was a DISASTER. Stain everywhere, color inconsistent, different colors from room to room, repairs done with a completely different wood that did not match, finish dull and peeling, stair case unfinished, fill turned an orange color - DISASTER. We met with 11 different companies and were completely underwhelmed by each of them. Some doubled the price once they saw our house, others said "this is too hard of a job to fix" and didn't want the job, others were just shoddy workmanship.

I paid each company to sand and stain a sample on my floor, NOT ONE SINGLE CO came close to the BRILLIANT color that these folks were able to achieve. They also used oil based poly which was harder to work with and took longer but was GORGEOUS in the end. The job was complicated (had to move wood from closets to repair what previous company damaged) and a challenge (had to make a red floor brown) but they did not shy away from the job and instead we're excited for the challenge!

If you have any doubts ask them to give me as a reference and I will send gobs of photos. We have a multi million dollar home and TFP did a billion dollar job! On time for estimate. Prompt with quote. Patient with my closing, ordering flooring, scheduling them. I did not order wood from Hardwood but still got a great price from TX Flooring. I found Billy at Texas Flooring professionals while shopping for hardwood in the Austin area. He was one of the designated installers for Hardwood Bargains. We ultimately did not go with Hardwood Bargains, but went with Simple Floors instead.

I moved to Austin 2 months ago and purchased a condo that I completely renovated, I worked with Lowes, Home Depot and a local contractor to gut the place and replace EVERYTHING.After vowing to never work with Lowes flooring again (installed my tile and carpet) who made it a nightmare to deal with, I began searching for another option for the last piece of the puzzle.new hardwood floors.

Not only did they offer to come out and bring samples to make it easy, they answered every inquiry promptly and worked with me to change my flooring choice at 11 PM the night before the install! Billy's crew worked quickly but carefully (unlike others I have worked with that dragged on and on) and any issue or question I had, regardless of how small or easy to address, was approached with an "I just want you to be happy" attitude.

This was a small job (350 sq ft) and I felt like I was the most important customer they had! To top it off, they sent a cleaning crew out at no charge without me even asking when I mentioned that there was saw dust on some of the surfaces which I noticed the next day. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. They were recommended by Hardwoodbargins (which is a great supplier.) They came in and installed 1600 sqft in 2 days, laying paper down during the install, putting in trim, and cleaning up after they were done. Also with an autistic son and very sick wife we needed glue with limited fumes. They supplied this and large industrial fans to air things out.

Then with the sell and purchase of a new home I completely forgot about them. Two weeks later I remembered and followed up. Billy said - Well you sounded stressed and I figured you'd call when you were ready. Unbelievably awesome service.

Amateur hour. Use at your own risk! -showed up 6 hours late the first day. -had to do the stairs three times. -mis-calculated sq footage of home -didn't remove tile grout properly and left my home FULL of dust. -garage full of sawdust. -damaged quarter round and baseboards and didn't repair or touch up. -took liberties with the contents of my home. -3 day job turned into 6.
