We had Pete come out to fix our upstairs unit for no longer cooling. We will absolutely be repeat customers for our annual checkups. We have used Smart Air for years and they have never let us down. Pete came out this last time (2.18.22) he called to say he would be earlier than our scheduled appointment time- which was great. He was professional and so knowledgeable about all the services we'd need. We had put off the inevitable for as long as possible and needed to get our a/c unit replaced.

Some how talking to Pete about the new unit and it's capabilities, the warranties etc. made the decision to purchase a new unit less painful. If all companies had employees like Pete, consumers wouldn't feel so apprehensive about making big ticket purchases. His knowledge was reassuring. This is a quality business with the best people like Pete and Jay.

We can't recommend SmartAir enough! We have been having an issue with our multi-zone system and had tried few companies to fix it over years which did not solve the issue. Jay (the owner) and Pete (the excellent technician) went above and beyond to spend time to understand and diagnose the issue properly and implemented the solution that made our system work as intended again.

Exceptional service. I had them come out to service my furnace before the winter temps started here in Houston. I've used them before after three other companies were unable to diagnose and solve a issue at another house. They recommended a new furnace which wasn't a total surprise as the original one, over 20 years old was still installed. The team came on a Monday and completed the install, but then Jay the owner came to inspect the install.

He told me he couldn't approve it though it was accurately installed as the size of the furnace (there are models A, B, etc) was not correct for the house and a/c unit. He explained they would come back the next day and install the correct size unit which they did. Mind you I believe a lot of other companies would have just left it which would have caused me other issues over time but not Jay and his team.

He owned the concern and cost of having to take away a furnace that was installed. I can't recommend them enough, if you want a trusted partner for your heating and cooling this is the company to do business with.

Heater went out for the 1st time Thursday night. Called Friday morning and they were very professional when they answered. (5 stars) Gave me an estimated time and said I'll get a call 30 mins before showing up. Let me say most of the time this happens, other companies never call or don't show up on the time schedules to arrive. But Jay called and in 30 mins he was there. (5stars) Jay was professional and courteous.

He assessed my problem, and had the issue solved within minutes. (5stars) Jay did a great job and in the end gave me some great pointers and gave me some very sound advice on how to maintain my a/c and heater. I've been using Smart Air since 2015. They take the time to explain everything in detail and in laymen's terms to easily understand problems and solutions. Their response time is quick, they schedule repairs quickly, their work is neat and clean, and their prices are very fair. I won't go anywhere else. I'm sold on them completely.

My overall experience with Smart Air was excellent. I needed a changeout of both my 20+ year old AC and furnace. I spoke with multiple AC companies and Jay was by far the most personable and easy to work with. He listened to my families needs and budgetary restraints, and provided us multiple options that would work. In the end, after explaining multiple options, we decided to go with Jay and Smart Air and I am glad we did. His installation team was friendly and thorough, and the the job was top notch. I have used different companies to fix HVAC problems, and I can tell that Smart Air is a good company, professional, and did the job properly. I have used their service multiple times, and so far I am happy with their service. The owner, Jay, is really helpful and patiently explained to me about AC and the maintenance so that it doesn't break easily.

Another technician, Miguel, also did the job well, diagnosed carefully, and the most important is that he explained clearly what the root cause of the problem, and different options to fix it, from the cheapest one to the proper one (which was really expensive). If you value highly professionalism and clarity, they are definitely your men.

Jay and Miguel are the best! I first found them a few years ago online and now call them for anything A/C related. Jay sets up appointments right away (like next day at 8 AM) which is fantastic. Both he and Miguel are super nice, trustworthy and always explain the needed repairs and options. I have literally saved thousands of dollars using Smart Air as I got other estimates for new outside condenser units. I really can't recommend them enough. It is so nice knowing I have them for all my A/C needs.

The company changed my AC coil and some parts. They did very clean and fast work. When they came to the house they were all wearing shoe covers, it was very impressing and very unusual for AC company to do that. Very nice and clean job. Keep the good work.

Jay with Smart Air came out on a Sunday when our Air Conditioner went out. We called Smart Air for a second estimate after the first company's estimate seemed really high and some things we were told seemed suspicious. Jay was very honest and his estimate was one-third the price of the other company's!

Got to my office on a cold morning & the furnace was not working. Jay identified the problem, got the furnace running well enough until he was able to pick up a new duct heater package & install it just a few hours later. Jay was neat, clean & pleasant. He explained the problem clearly. I felt the price was quite reasonable.

Jay is absolutely amazing. He has always been there when i needed him with my own home and rental property. It is so hard trying to find a good, honest AC company with fair pricing. He re-did the entire AC system when i purchased a new home with wonderful quality.

Jay was great. Came home and our A/C was not blowing cold. Had other repair men tell me the fan motor was out and it would cost around $500.00. Jay was at my house promptly and found the problem. It was not the fan motor. Now my A/C works great again and at a cost of $150.00. Jay is now my go to A/C man.

Per my HOA, I have to have my furnace inspected every year for the winter months. This was my first year getting one and had never done one before. Jay was the person who came to my home to perform the furnace check up and safety inspection.

Helpful, informative, never felt pressured into anything, but most of all and best of all was the quick response time which is essential in Houston. These guys did me a huge favor by agreeing to come out so late and fixing my A/C so we would not have to suffer the Houston heat that night or the next day!

Jay explained thoroughly, what he was going to provide, in terms of brand name and step by step installation of the new units. Jay gave an estimated time of completion and he met the time he suggested. Jay, owner, is a pleasant person to work with and speak with. He will answer every question you may have, as many times as you ask him. He is patient and his work is of very high quality.
