We recently moved into a new home that we had totally remodeled and I wanted to have the AC units checked and coils cleaned after all the construction. Ian was the service tech that came out. He was very professional and explained in detail the process used to check AC systems and cleaning the coils. We were very impressed with the service we received and would highly recommend Air Care Cooling and Heating

Ian came out to check on my AC units. Ian was very thorough, polite, very knowledgeable, and did a great job assessing and tuning up my units. Ian was very professional and I would def recommend this company based on the value, promptness, and great customer service provided!

After reading a lot of reviews of this company, I am still feeling so happy that I chose Scottsdale Air. With the plethora of information available online, no one should allow themselves to hire and be bamboozled by a few mental midget half wit kindergarten drop outs and be charged an outrageous amount for little to no work except for literally just showing up, late?

Read the reviews and if the overall star rating seems to be about a 3 or less, pass on it. Need more confirmation, call the company and determine how they speak to you, like a child or like a paying adult. The ol' Flux Capacitor trick, really?

Highly impressed with Ken today. I need a new HVAC system and ductwork completed in my home. Ken was very professional, listened to my needs, and was very courteous. He's going back to the office with all the information he gathered and he's going to write me up a quote for the estimate.

I wish I could split this three ways but the original sales person was very professional and worked hard to get our A/C redone before the really hot days in June., That was fine. The installers--not so good. They left the entrance to the attic unfinished with the molding on the garage floor. Did not clean up either and worst of all- left the outside unit unbalanced.

They dfd not know that I was around the corner when they decided to leave it that way. They also didn't bother to mention that the plenum was designed wrong and needed replacement. The man sent over to put the molding back up was fine. But, Dave, the technician who came when we called to complain about air flow took care of everything including the balancing of the outside unit.

His helper swept the laundry room and half the garage and even did the pile of debris that I swept up myself. We cannot praise him enough. And---by the way, the whole house is now cooling properly.

The technician arrived within the time frame that was scheduled. The tech was knowledgeable about his work. He replaced my A/C filters insidethe house, he sprayed down outside unit with water hose cleaning coils and then he hooked up to the unit and diagnosed unit. The technician did a good job checking the unit.

Want your money. Bought a new unit from them. Was told they would deal with my home warranty to get my deductible from them. They lied and said they submitted the paperwork but later said they didn't. Never got my money. They installed the new AC unit and I was told it came with inspections every 6 months included in the cost. Then they called and tried to sell me a inspection package? Didn't contact me for almost a year, then when they came out to inspect and told me I needed $1000.00 worth of stuff done on my New AC that had hardly been used. Asked for a receipt for the services he performed on the inspection and all he sent me was a quote.

Then he forgot to reconnect the unit so it wasn't working and we had to call them to come back and fix it. System now is not cooling properly and I'm sure he broke it. Buyer beware.

I had originally called to service my 3 units, which one was a wine cooler for my cellar. The person on the phone was made aware of my wine cooler and made the appointment. Within a week, my wine cooler was struggling to keep my cellar cool when the weather heated up. I called back to move the appointment up, which they did. This second person was made aware of the new issue with my wine cooler and made the new appointment.

The service man Ian, who came to my house immediately told me they did not work on these type of units, but he would service my other two units. Ian did a good job on my main units and gave me a price break because of the misunderstanding. One of my units needed freon, which he added at no extra charge since I supplied the freon. That was much appreciated. I did not rate them higher because the situation with my wine cooler should have been made clear over the phone so I could make other arrangements.

Had I checked the reviews before hiring Air Care I would not be writing this. The first technician was incompetent and second one was flippant with a quote and never got back as he said he would the next day. Complaining to the manager was useless. He was too busy defending his crew and the way he calculated the refund of the 5 year maintenance contract.

I used it only once and got back $190 of the $1000 paid. There were other cost which was unnecessary. I went to another company to repair the issue at a much lower cost. Air care is not interested in helping their customers. Only enriching its pocket.

The home I bought had a transferable warranty on the AC units the previous owner had installed. Air care called me to set up the 6 month check up and Ian, their tech, called to let me know when he would arrive and was on time. He check both units and showed me all the voltages were within specs. Good service and he was very nice.

Disappointed in the warranty and services provided. Very difficult to schedule appointments. After several calls and their stating unavailable. The extended warranty provides inspections schedule of once per six months and only delivered once on 24 months. The actual inspection was a joke. Will not use again and will not recommend The company avoids contact and is poor in communication Find another AC Company

Called ahead of time with an ETA. Was quick and efficient. Took pictures of worn-out parts and gave me a quote before completing the work. Appreciate the hard work and professionalism.

Air Care installed my AC unit 5 years ago and they have been my number 1 choice to service it. They have been honest and quick. Prices may appear a little high, but you get what you pay for! I used a discount repair place to try and save money and they completely lied to me trying to take me for 2k+, when Air Care was able to diagnose and fix it at a quarter of the price.

The last issue they fixed the fan motor in less than 2 hours on 100°+ day! I didn't suffer in the heat at all because Ken, Chris, and Frank (the technicians / employees I worked with) were fast, friendly, and honest. I wanted to write this review and give them all major kudos! A+ work!

Called last minute AirCare Schedule an appointment same day and I definitely recommend them. Ken checked and helped in everything and my AC system is working. Really good service, he explained everything in a detailed matter and after explaining he was pretty fast repairing it. Will be calling them for future checkup.

I'm updating my review based on a call I just had with Ken, one of the managers. It sounds like the email and texts I sent didn't go through so calling is the best way to leave feedback directly with the company. This was the exact kind of response I expected. Ken assured me that they would take care of me and send a senior technician out to get the AC working properly. Based on this conversation I would recommend Air Care Cooling as they are willing to take care of their customers and follow up with them. Ill post an update after the senior technician visits.

I had the HVAC cleaned as well as the AC unit check up and repair done. All three guys did an amazing job and they were super friendly to work with. Ian was super kind and transparent in repairing the AC on the roof; Robert and Vincent was very thorough and quick in getting those vents cleaned and sanitized. I love supporting small companies and I would call them again in the future for any of my plumbing and HVAC needs.

Antajuan showed up on time for my 6 month maintenance. He showed me issues that I had from before and forgot about that got worse. He performed cleaning and a little repair job. He was great with communicating and friendly during service. Thank you! Services: A/C system maintenance, Cleaning

I highly recommend Air Care! I was given their info from a coworker and will definitely be using them again in the future. They were able to get me an appointment within a few hours and extremely professional all around. Ken was top notch! Straight shooter and good guy. He explained everything upfront and gave me several options that best fit my situation. No pressure or unnecessary repairs. Well done Air Care .

Serviceman arrived within the time period given, He called To confirm address because he was given the wrong address, Explained everything real well to homeowner satisfaction. Made suggestions for Preventative maintenance but was not pushy about suggestions. Service: HVAC system maintenance

Ken came for our 6 month check up with our PMA maintenance plan. He discovered our A/C unit had a few components that needed replacement and made sure we were informed as to exactly what was wrong and how to prevent any further damage to our aging system. He cleaned our unit, ensured our compressor that was installed on our last visit was still in tip top shape, and got our new fan installed along with our compressor service done quickly and professionally.

I can always appreciate friendly, honest and informed service, not just some company that tries to upsale me on a new unit or take advantage of consumers. Give this amazing, locally owned company a try and even consider their maintenance plan to make sure you take care of your system regularly, you won't regret it!

As with similar reviews, I signed up for a 3 year service agreement, twice. Every visit needed something; capacitor, fan motor, soft-start; those guys never left my home for less than $200 / semi-annual visit (other than the last visit where I said I was not going to pay for anything). The real straw was a quote for another fan motor replacement (I have two units); this time, for $1,000!

The motor, on-line, cost less than $200, and with the time estimate of 2 hours, this was a $400 / hour repair? Thanks, but no thanks. So I called Chris and cancelled the service; there is a 30% re-stocking fee (huh?) and all the discounts I got for parts were then added back to my totals. Not much of a refund after all of that. This is the sort of company that gives HVAC such a bad name; yes the guys are friendly, but they must be getting a cut of what they up-sell. And while I may have been born at night, it was not last night. Adios!

Found a val pack coupon, scheduled a call for Tuesday of this week. Driver called to say car trouble and was told to call to re-schedule which I did for Monday BUT after reading these reviews I will be canceling the appointment, sounds like the car trouble saved me.

An update to my review of 7/14/21. Ken S. of Air Care contacted us concerning the facts of our review, and agreed not only to provide us with paperwork (work order/receipt?) for the work done on our unit, but to honor their "$50 off any repair" Valpak coupon. He said that this is a successful, hard-working family company that always strives to do the right thing for their customers, and that the policy put into effect by his technician at our repair (Mike) was wrong, that we were rightfully entitled to use this coupon. We are awaiting the promised work order/receipt, as well as the $50.00 refund.

I called these guys over the weekend. The owner, Ken, called me back as I had originally reached the answering service. I wasn't expecting such a quick response, it was the weekend and pretty close to after hours. They came out Monday afternoon, within the arrival window they had provided. The service tech, Mike, walked me through my issue (new unit, not cooling the master bedroom) and checked the ducts out. He was very thorough and provided a very reasonable estimate. I look forward to working with them on this project and again in the future!

I decided to update my review based on contact from the company. I received both an email and phone call from either the manager or owner the day after I posted my one star review. I had a nice conversation where the gentleman apologized for my dissatisfaction with my service. Beyond that, rather than brushing it under the rug, he asked for more information that left me feeling as if this encounter was more a result of the technician's poor communication or personal feelings rather than the company's sales tactics. No person or company is perfect. I find that their outreach seemed more representative of their business model than my initial encounter.

I used Air Care once before to service my ac and enjoyed the service and experience. I knew that when my ac started to give me problems some 2 years later, there would be only one company to call. Tony was sent out to my home and diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor.

The fan on our unit had stopped working. So I went on Kudzu and saw that Air Care had over 80 great reviews and decided to call them. At first, there were a couple things that did not meet my expectations, but Darrell and Steve have been amendment about meeting my expectations with respect.

I wanted to thank Air Care for their hard work on my building It has been a bumpy road getting these buildings ready to rent. I am super happy at the way the new AC's look and run and I can't thank you guys enough.

Best A/C company I've dealt with. I was surprised by the really quick response time and the gentleman that came out was very professional and very thorough. I would recommend using Air Care.

Our service representative, Ken, was fantastic! He was very professional and provided assistance with my A/C unit in explaining everything that was working and that which wasn't working. I don't like paying for something I don't need, but I definitely needed Ken's help today in repairing my unit and ensuring that my unit will be protected and serviceable for a long time to come!

Ken and Mike serviced our two air conditioning units and found outstanding maintenance truly needed on both of our units. Had this work not been brought to our attention, it is highly likely we would need to replace a unit within the next several months.

Top notch service, knowledgeable, very good at explaining the system. We got some needed service work done and are getting Aero Seal done the all the ducts to seal them up and save some energy. I have been fighting dirty dusty ducts, and never knew we could seal our ducts.
