Cost $2300 LABOR to replace a Condenser Coil (that was WITH coil warranty after same coil broke last year.huh) They put in two large AC units for me and I would NEVER use this company again. Very expensive units 'somehow' need repair every year. This company is not that good and is too expensive. Recommend: Go elsewhere and ALWAYS ask price before they arrive (450 dollar fee to leak check!).

Had them fix a compressor last year, then they contacted me about a system check. Quoted me 149 and I figured that was fair to tell me if I had any issues. Morning of the check up and I get a text. Since I have multiple units each one will cost me 149. This was 40 minutes before my appointment and I didn't contact them. So they already knew I had multiple units and waited till right before my appointment to change the price. If you book them, have your checkbook ready.

Called Abaco when our AC stopped working one Saturday morning. They told us it would be $225 for the repair. The part they were replacing is cheap, but we knew we were paying for the service and for them to be out on a Saturday morning. After writing the check he came back and told us it would be another $150. $375 for a $25 part and 30 minutes of work seems ridiculous in my opinion. Then they took 3 weeks to even deposit the checks. Not a great experience.

Fantastic company! I can't say enough how impressed I am with this company. My heater went out in the the middle of the night, so I called them at 7:30am to book a visit. I expected to get an answering service, but someone actually answered the phone instead. The person ended up being the OWNER of the company (Al). He was very friendly and said he would come by shortly.

He and his tech (Jalal) came by and explained all of the options available to be along with how their expert installation experience and techniques would make a huge difference. After receiving multiple quotes from other vendors, I ended up going with Abaco. Their prices were extremely competitive, but their technical competence sealed the deal for me.

They communicated regularly and showed up at 7am ready to go. Al was on-site the entire day to oversee the install. Jalal and the other installers were extremely professional and left my home spotless. I couldn't be more happy with the service from Abaco and the functionality of my new Trane AC units!

I called on a Sunday morning about water leaking out of my air handler and running into the house. The company took the call and had a technician at our house about an hour later. Third time using business. Each time technicians called office needing assistance in completing repair. On most recent call, business wanted $1195. to replace compressor fan motor. Al, at office, refused to identify part by number, discuss cost of part, or detail his arrival at total repair cost. Declined the repair and paid diagnostic fee; then called another business to have exact repair completed for $500. less within 2 hours. Will not use this business again.

I called Abaco and within 20 minutes I had a tech at my house. He was very friendly and wore PPE. He did a check of my unit and it was the compressor. Price was reasonable. I liked that he showed me on volt meter the battery capacity as proof. Everything was fixed in 30 minutes. Will definitely recommend and use again. Service: A/C system repair

Before starting this review I wanted to mention that this is the third system Abaco Air Experts has installed for me. This new system is a replacement for an older system installed by Abaco. The second system was an additional Trane Ductless Mini Split system in a recreational room that did not have overhead ductwork. All systems installed by Abaco have operated perfectly.

I have my systems maintained on a yearly basis. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism of this company. Currently I had Abaco Air Experts install a top of the line Trane XV20i Condenser with the matching Tam 9 Communicating Air Handler and the Trane XL Communicating Thermostat. This is a system that utilizes a variable speed compressor, variable speed condenser fan motor and variable speed air handler blower motor.

This allows the system to compensate for temperature changes and run at the appropriate capacity/speed for the current weather temperatures. The compressor can run from a super low capacity speed rate, and up to 100 percent capacity as called for by the temperature setting. In all it has 750 stages of cooling and heating capacity. This will cut my cooling and heating cost down by 60 percent because the units will not be running at 100 percent capacity all of the time as a standard one stage unit would.

This is a 4 ton unit that operates at 19.25 SEER. Now on to the installation review: As in the past Abaco arrived early in the morning to begin the install. This installation was more complicated than the past install because I decided to move my air handler out of the attic and into the garage. This required rerouting electrical connections, return air ductwork, tubing and drain pipe plus cutting holes in the ceiling for the rerouted ductwork.

I have to say this was done with precision and I received a very neatly installed air handler in my garage. The old air handler was removed from the attic and all debris removed. The outside condenser unit went much faster and easier because it stayed in the same place as the old unit. The new thermostat was installed and Abaco programmed it for me.

It is a phenomenal 7 inch color touch screen unit that does everything but cook dinner. It even tells you what capacity the compressor is running at. All three devices communicate with each other plus this thermostat has a built in Nexia bridge that allows me to control the unit with my smart phone and Amazon's Alexia if I choose. Due to the complexity of this installation it took the day to complete it but when they were finished everything was cleaned up and you would have never known anything was done except for the shiny new equipment.

The old units were taken away that same day as well as all of the debris. I have never been happier with a company as this one. All of the employees are very nice to talk with as is the owner. THESE GUYS DO NOT CUT ANY CORNERS WITH THE INSTALLATION. That is so IMPORTANT because improperly installed equipment will operate sub par and/or have problems down the line. Abaco EXCELS in the precision installation department.

I can say that I have had very good experiences with Trane products, but I have also maintained them annually. YEARLY MAINTENANCE IS IMPORTANT FOR ANY EQUIPMENT. I chose the top of the line system but it is good to know that Trane offers quality equipment in all price ranges down to basic one stage model compressors. You can spend a lot or you can go economical.

No matter what you choose Abaco will install it with precision. Because of my three separate experiences with Abaco Air Experts and all being very positive, I do not hesitate to recommend this company. Abaco installs Trane products but they service and perform maintenance on all brands I am so pleased with the equipment and company that I decided to take some pictures during and after the installation.

Also Al during installation in the garage, the outside condenser, and my Trane Mini Split unit installed previously by Abaco Air Experts. I highly suggest giving them a call if you need maintenance/repair, or in the market for a new system. Trane products come in all price ranges.

What I appreciate the most with this contactor is they are more than willing to work with the customer. This is especially true when it comes to appointment times.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Did a great job with installation. Very neat and clean. He took his time explaining the unit before and after purchase. I would highly recommend the contractor.

Thanks to Al making a 10:00 pm service call. I needed a capacitor and the 85 degree temp and 102 humidity went down to a cooler temp in no time. I appreciated not having to wait until the next day. Abaco has been my choice for many years.

Called Abaco after another scam artist A/C compancy, One Hour, came out and tried to swindle me. Abaco saved the day and saved me thousands of dollars! Honest and very reasonable. I will defiantly use them again!

Fast and convenient, they worked with me. They explained everything about what was wrong with my system and ways to fix it. In the end, I had the whole system replaced for cost effectiveness. After the system was installed, they explained everything about it and how to set the thermostat, change filters, everything.

What's not to like? Fast service, pleasant people, efficient and reasonably priced. My Go To people for all of our A/C needs.

My first experience with Abacco Air Experts, Inc. and their technician, Al, will ensure that I'm a repeat customer. The knowledgeable technician quickly identified my problem, made a couple of possible recommendations, one of which was less costly but provided the same level of service from my HVAC system.

I called and the next day they were there. Al is great and friendly and professional. Always helpful. I definitely would recommend Abaco Air.

Both our 10 year old + heat pumps developed leaks at the same time, one stopped working completely, and the other wasn't cooling well. Al advised us of the cost to recharge the units with old freon vs. a new Trane install, as well as estimated electrical savings.

Great company. Took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions and later delivered a case of filters.

I rated them a 5 when I had AL come to service on a weekend when the condensor on the heater went out. Well We had maintanance done on our AC and let me preface this review with Abaco is no different than any other company AC or not in that the gentleman that came out advised I needed a new Motor Run condenser on my unit and quoted me $160. I let him know dont quote me $160 and then go on Graingers web site and find out like Tropic Aire that the part will be around $13 or why would I use them again?

Well after he leaves I go straight to GRaingers web site and Behold it is $13and some change. Why do companies have to screw you. For goodness sakes you there charge me $100 bucks for your expertise and then Double on the part but $14 item and charge me $160. I am sure that is the way business is done but what the customer needs is someone who does business differently.

Step forward Abaco, I knwo on the short side of things you may take a hit but on the long run you will get life time customers. One other thing if you are doing this same billing to the elderly and down trodden of Jax, WOW! Unfortunately if I have to re-rate you due to inconsistency in service and pricing it will not be good apperance wise. have a set pricing list you can show customers. The more internet savvy customers become the more they will check prices online.
