Let me start by saying that we are absolutely thrilled with our new pool! No Limit Pools did a fabulous job in an incredibly short time. After speaking with several pool companies that told us to expect four to six months before they dig, then another eight to ten months to complete the job, we almost decided to cancel our plans. I saw No Limit online and called them.
Within two days Dave came to visit us and he designed the perfect pool. Three weeks later permits were in place and the pool was excavated on January 21. By March 18 the entire project was 100% complete and our backyard is beautiful! During the construction process Marc, the owner of the company took an active role in supervising the job. Once work began, we had the feeling that this project was the most important thing these people had to do.
Each day a different crew came to complete each part of the project and we found that every crew was highly skilled and completely professional. At the end of the workday all debris was cleaned up and the yard was left in order. When the pool was complete, No Limit continued to support and train us in its use and care. The one and only glitch that occurred was a cleaning head that stuck up.
I sent a text to Heath and he had a technician at the house within the hour to correct the problem (a small piece of plastic stuck in the head). If you're planning to build a new pool, I can assure you that you will never regret dealing with Mark, Dave or Heath at No Limit Pools.

Our pool ground breaking occurred in late January 2022 and today (March) we are enjoying our heated pool! It took us about 6 months to select a pool builder. This project was a big spend for us. What was important to us was to have a sense that my business was important to the company I selected. Did they show up when promised? Did they allow me to ask basic questions without being made to feel dumb? Were they as excited about my project as I was?
And most importantly was there honesty in the process? We selected NoLimit Pools because of the sales experience. Any sales experience is a leap of faith and we continued to have those positive affirmations and experiences with Dylan, Heath and Mark throughout the build process. What makes this company different is they minimize contractors and use their own employees for the project.
Each person that we interacted with were friendly, positive and respectful of our time and property. And I loved seeing a female out tiling my pool! She rocked! If I had to go through this process again with NoLimit Pools, I would.

I had this company install a pool for me. All I can say is this contractor is a rare find. He is prompt, does exactly what he says he is going to do, and has outstanding workmanship. Competitively priced and he does a fantastic job designing and providing a a customizable bid. No pushy sales tactics. Highest recommendation possible for this company.

Let's all admit, buying a pool is stressful and an expensive investment. After a lot of research and meeting with a few different pool companies, we decided to go with No Limit Pools. What made them stand out was their customer service, warranty, pool equipment, reviews, and most important they own most of their crews. That was important for us because the owner of the pool company ran his crews, so he didn't have to work around other businesses' schedules and subcontract everything out.
We had our entire pool done in 24 DAYS! LESS THAN A MONTH FROM DAY OF DIG TO WATER IN POOL! The company does not promise every pool will go this fast, for the owner likes to under-promise and over-deliver, he was very transparent with us about this. I believe they said it usually takes around 4-6 weeks to complete. They do their best to get the pools done as fast as they can for their customers. Things just happened to work out for us, which was GREAT! Marc did a great job keeping us updated throughout the project.
People need to keep in mind he is a business owner and running multiple projects at once. Sometimes it did take him some time to get back to us, but we never felt like we were not a priority. He got back to us with every question and helped us every step of the way. The other reason we loved the company was the willingness and flexibility Marc had with small changes we wanted throughout the build.
We increased the size of the pool (before dig) and we added more travertine to replace our current patio. He understands things look different from paper to backyard layout. He also helped us pick out our colors for our waterfall, tile, mini pebble, and travertine. I love his motto "I'll never let one of my customers build an ugly pool!" Which is great, because he does this all day every day, he knows what's going to look good!
I have no problem trusting a professional in their craft. Everything turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. We are now into our 1 month of pool maintenance and things are going well. Thank you Dave, Marc and Heath for all the help and dedication to building us a beautiful pool.

We have been planning to build a swimming pool since we moved 2 years ago. We have had 3 swimming pools before this one, and were fairly informed about the process and knew what we liked and what has worked and also was not worth doing from our previous pools. I had started by contacting another company which was a referral from our friends, but they were extremely slow in getting us a quote - was a week later than the original promised date and ghosted me the entire week in between.
When I finally did get the quote, it excluded many of the things we had specifically asked for and the over design and concept was extremely underwhelming. While I was waiting for the quote, I decided to start shopping for a backup plan. I read reviews on Yelp and Google for a lot of companies, and looked at a lot of their pictures. No Limit really stood out to me, and we decided to give them a call so we could compare to the first company. Dave came out and spent a lot of time with us, and did a great job listening, taking notes, pictures and measurements.
He promised us a design and quote a week later, and delivered. He came back to the house and showed us the rendering on his computer and we really loved the concept. He took all of of ideas and examples we provided, and brought them to life and then added to them to make it even more fabulous. It was hard to believe they could transform our backyard to that degree, but they absolutely delivered for us.
We called mid-March and it was right as COVID-19 restrictions and stay at home orders were happening. You would think everyone would have been cautious about spending money on big projects, but Marc told us that they were overwhelmed with people wanting quotes and that he could not even keep up with all the interest. We felt lucky to be already in progress because I saw a few weeks later on the news that all of the pool builders are swamped and many were not even signing contracts for the summer.
We had a pretty big project with a pool, spa, extra decking and adding a 60 foot long and 6 foot high block wall plus added a retaining wall to the bottom section of the pool so it did take a little more time than the standard build - about 6-7 weeks but it was finished just in time for summer. The crews Marc uses are really great at what they do, my only disappointment is that a large part of our yard was trashed when it was all over from all the trucks and equipment driving all over it, but that would have happened regardless of who did our pool but unfortunately you have to budget another couple thousand dollars to fix it all and get it back where you want it.
I do think in the end we got a great pool, it totally exceeded our expectations and looks better than we could have hoped. We also plan to use their maintenance service which is a great benefit knowing that they built our pool and will take good care of it.

Spent a lot of money for this pool and was told there would be communication and supervision, very little of that occurred, unless to pick up a check, there was no quality control at all, no detail work, and when given a list and promised supervision would happen that didnt occur either, my advise dont use them, to much ego and not enough knowledge in there work, make sure you no who the real license holder is in this company, this coming from a contractor who had thought they had done enough research on the subject.

I've been meaning to write this review since Marc and his team at No Limit Pools and Spas built our pool, deck, and grill deck in May 2019. But we've been spending too much time in the awesome pool! No Limit pulled out all the stops to get our pool built in time for a family gathering at our new house in Gold Canyon. Everything came in on-time, and on-budget, and it's been working beautifully since. We've also opted to go with No Limit for ongoing weekly service and we've appreciated their tips and advice on how best to manage an AZ pool.
Their designer, Dave, did an amazing (and quick) job and listened to our input. In addition to the pool, he solved a challenge with our sloping lot. And did I mention everything came in on-budget? We did check out several other pool builders first. But No Limit has done so many pools in our neighborhood so we felt confident that they could work within our strict HOA rules and manage the job efficiently.
It was fun to watch our mudflow of a back yard be transformed into a desert oasis by fast, meticulous, and friendly builders. Thanks Marc, Heath, Dave, and everyone at No Limit!

This was a $250,000 backyard project. No Limit Pools was responsible for the heated pool, dive platform, water slide, oversized spa, and two-story ramada. Marc Ballard, the owner, came highly recommended. Marc's company was one of several bids we received from custom pool contractors. No Limit Pool's bid was not the cheapest bid we received. However, from day one, the straight-forward, no BS, professional communications and consistent, ahead of time delivery of a superb product was well worth the additional cost.
We are a dual-working, professional couple with children, long work hours, who travel for occupations, and not versed in all of the intricacies of the construction world. We wanted a company who communicates well, both in person and via phone/text/email. someone who is on the job often to ensure work is being completed properly. who shows us up front what we can expect in a finished product and then delivers what we are expecting. and who will take all aspects of the project and "make it happen" so we can focus on our own occupations and family.
Mr Ballard and No Limit Pools delivered in every one of those areas and made it all happen despite landscape contractors who were not meeting their timelines or construction obligations to allow the pool project to proceed smoothly. We are always researching for the best cost/value. However, after working with Marc Ballard and No Limit Pools, the saying, "You Get What You Pay For" took on a whole new meaning. No Limit Pools delivered in every way. We highly recommend them for your custom pool and construction project. Thanks Marc.!

If I could give this company a 10 star rating I would. Marc and his team are the best of the best. We were quoted a 4-6 week turn around time for our pool remodel and in 3 weeks to the day, our pool was holding water. The craftsmanship of his team members and the precision of the scheduling made this all happen. One crew was finished while another was pulling up, everyone was careful, respectful and so efficient I can't even begin to tell you how happy we are.
We got many other quotes and from the minute Marc stepped into our backyard, his expertise shown thru. he knew exactly what to do, listened and made our dreams a reality with very little effort from us. He was honest and just exuded a confidence in his work that the other companies did not have. No Limit is certainly not the cheapest but they are absolutely the best value in terms of quality and workmanship and product.
We added a spa, new filter, Baja step, umbrella sleeve, new pump, rock water fall, stone veneer on the patio pole to match the spa surround, mini pebble tec. installed a heater (with gas line) and all new pop up heads for the in ground cleaner. They checked all piping of the existing pool plumbing. They hand dug the spa, hand dug the gas line because we were in a tight spot to bring it around our existing patio and literally hand crafted the entire outside of the spa, Baja step, waterfall, and brick veneer.
This company is second to none. Heath was amazing adding the finishing touches and getting us up and running at the finish line! Great JOB No Limit Pools and Spas. Call them, you won't be sorry!

Marc and his team were amazing with our pool renovation. We added a heater - hot tub - new pebbletec and a natural rock waterfall. From start to finish they were quick - expert and everything turned out better than expected. Quote time was 6 weeks to completion and in 3 weeks to the day we were filling our new beautiful oasis with water. Highly recommend this team to make your pool dreams come true!

Marc Ballard was exceptional to work with. He cares about every detail and focuses on quality. Each crew showed up timely, got their portion done, and Marc & Heath kept me up to date on each step. I don't want to set an expectation, but it was amazing how fast they got it done! It has now been 5 months since our pool was completed and Marc is still responsive to questions! I highly recommend No Limit Pools!

After getting what felt like a million quotes, we decided to go with No Limit Pools. They are definitely NOT cheap, however, pound for pound they blow the rest of the pool builders out of the water. First off, their designs are beautiful. The materials they use are really top notch. My pool equipment was one grade below commercial. For the same price point with other companies I would have gotten a cheaper pump, a smaller pool, and NOT travertine. Instead, I have an in ground cleaner, a 15t Hayward salt cell, and a Tristar Hayward pump.
My entire deck is laid with 3/4 travertine tiles that are sand set. Our favorite feature was the rock slide. The front of our slide is all real rocks unlike other builders who for the same price give you the look but not the goods. The slide also has its own independent ecostar pump. Our pool was finished sometime ago and I can tell you they have continued to respond to my questions and concerns. Now, I will advise you that Marc is no snake oil salesman so he will not sweet talk you.
He is a straight shooter and will tell you like it is. I also think his company is growing really fast and he can't be at all job sites so that's something to be considered. His subs were top notch and they sang him praises. Many told me tell never have to chase Marc for payment. Rather, payment is always ready for them. That meant a lot to us as my father-in-law was a sub and he got taken by contractors in many occasions.
Before you go with another company, I definitely suggest you check out No Limit Pools. Also, if you look at their filtered review you will see that they have many and all are 5 stars but they are mostly 3 liners at best so they did not make the cut.

We waited nearly 3 years to finish our backyard landscaping and pool project. We compared many popular pool builders. Every time we made comparisons we discovered we were getting an amazing deal with No Limit Pools. Marc Ballard (the owner) and his team built us an amazing pool with a rock waterfall (with wet steps) and grotto. Our project had over 2000 sq ft. of travertine and a pool nearly 100 perimeter feet with an in floor cleaner system.
The project from day 1 of dig to swimming was less than 30 days! Every person that has looked at our pool love it. From the waterslide to the raised area with sheer waterfalls all the way to the skimmer cover (which is travertine, not plastic). The entire project is awesome and our family loves it. The other companies are good pool builders, but when we started to add all the travertine, in floor cleaners, sheer waterfalls and the raised areas, their price went well over our budget. Marc and No Limit Pools stayed within our budget and we could not be happier.
I have recommended many friends and family to No Limit Pools and will continue to do so. Dealing with the owner since day one was a great experience. You will not be disappointed.

No Limit Pools was the 3rd builder that we contacted prior to starting our project. The responsiveness, the creativity, and the overall professionalism that Marc and his team displayed were the main reasons that we decided to go with No Limit Pools. Our project is done now and my wife and I couldn't be happier. We are left with a one of a kind pool and patio (in only 6 weeks!) that the entire family absolutely loves. Marc and Heath have been great to work with and I would highly recommend No Limit Pools. Henry

I recently completed a project with No Limit Pools and the following summarizes my experience building a pool with them. I purchased a "new construction" residence in a master planned community in Mesa, Arizona. The developer "partnered" with a well-known Valley pool builder and that seemed like the way to go until I began to do my research. There were mixed reviews not only relating to the finished products, but the way in which the pool builder communicated, scheduled, and held to their commitments.
I am a professional construction manager myself and I saw this as a huge warning flag. I looked into some of the other "majors" in the market and over and over again the same issues were being raised. I began to question who, if anyone, I was going to be able to work with to get this project done. This decision was made more critical because I would not be able to be on site at any time during the build.
I came across No Limit Pools while researching pool builders on the internet. What immediately caught my attention was the lack of any bad reviews or outstanding complaints with the BBB or Arizona Registrar of Contractors. I called Marc to set up an appointment. He met me at the raw lot on a day that I was in town for a meeting with the developer.
I had painted out the location of the back walls and patio for the proposed residence so he could see the amount of room we had available to work with. We had a discussion of wants and needs and set about to painting out an outline of the proposed pool/spa on the dirt. (Keep in mind your pool will look bigger when it is dug than it does painted out on the ground.) A few days later, Marc emailed a rendering of the proposed pool.
We discussed some changes and he provided a second rendering. Time went by (we had to wait for the residence to be completed and close on the deal before he could start the build) and we talked back and forth over the phone a few times about refining this detail and that. Never was there any pressure to "sign now or lose the deal" or "get us a deposit to get you into the build queue" or any of the other builders' high pressure ploys to get you committed.
The week we closed on the property, I had Marc back out to the site one final time. I had staked the pool out exactly as I wanted it and we discussed the final design, layout, and finishes. These were incorporated into the contract and we signed the deal and turned over the deposit. I left that week with Marc's assurance "don't worry, we've got this".
I did not return to Arizona until the pool was filled and running. This was the first pool build I have been involved in and I have to say, I have no real regrets with the outcome. Everything is the done the way we wanted it, the workmanship is professional, the equipment is appropriately sized and performs flawlessly. Heath came by and went over the equipment operation, programmed the automation, and we discussed the few "punch list" items they would be taking care of.
This is exactly how it should be done. As a construction professional, I would never recommend a person drop "luxury car" money on a project when they couldn't be present during the build. But my circumstances required that this was the way I had to do this and I can't imagine a better company to leave the task to than Marc Ballard and No Limit Pools.

After finally deciding that we wanted to do a swimming pool in our backyard, we set out on trying to find the right pool builder. As most of those who have had pools built know, this is no easy task. The last pool we put in was a builder special - we were incentivized to go with a mainstream pool builder. We were just happy to get one with the house we built and we were not very informed on the pool process.
It was later on we noticed the defects and problems that came with the cookie cutter builder special. With our adventure into another pool, we wanted to be more careful. We visited with another pool builder and actually had a signed deposit. After seeing their bid constantly getting increased because they "forgot" something or needed to add something, we decided to get a second option.
I am so glad that I found No Limit Pools. After reading their testimonials on their website, I inquired if Marc could meet us for an estimate. As I work outside of Phoenix during the week, the only day I was available was Saturday. Marc went out of his way, on his day off, to ensure we met with someone and was able to get a bid. His bid came in at around the same price as the other pool company, but with many extra features and better equipment.
He even had 3D Pool imaging showing the pool in the backyard! During the pool building process with No Limit Pools, I was amazed at the speed at which the build was progressing. Each day, there was someone there to continue the building process. This was way more thorough and faster than the last pool we had with the builder. In fact, I was so impressed, that halfway through the pool bid, I asked for a bid for pavers, firepit, and pergola in addition to my pool.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but the cost of this phase two project was less than others I had received bids for and we went forward with that phase at the same time as the pool. From start of dig to the completion, No Limit Pools has been fantastic to work with. Marc is super responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails and guides you along the process.
I will definitely be telling everyone that No Limit Pools prides itself on meeting and exceeding your expectations and does quality workmanship along the way. If we didn't go out of town for a week, our pool would have been completed in only 4 weeks! Regards, Bryan and Kim Baker

My wife and I discussed building a pool with 3 other builders before we decided to go with No Limit Pools. Our decision came down to several key reasons, including lots of great reviews across Facebook, Google+, the BBB and other various sources, but ultimately came down to dealing with Marc and the responsiveness of the company.

I'm on my second pool with No Limit Pools & Spas. Once you decide to go with them, you'll never go elsewhere. You deal directly with the owner Marc, who helps guide you through the pool design process, making sure you are getting exactly what you want out of your back yard. I recommend that you meet with other pool builders before calling No Limit.
You'll then understand that Marc has your best interest in mind, while keeping your budget in check. I've recommended No Limit Pools & Spas to my friends who were looking for a pool builder and, they not only went with No Limit, they referred them to their friends and family as well. Their also able be very price competitive, since they do not have all of the costs associated with the National Builders. If you want to be swimming in 3 weeks, call them.

No Limit Pools and Spas just finished our new pool in June as promised! We had originally signed a contract with Paddock/Cameo Pools in March. Unfortunately, they took our deposit money and never came back to do anything! My kids were disappointed and we had to start from scratch. Me Credit Union Lender recommended using No Limit Pools, said they have a great reputation, and they were right!
From the time we signed the contract to the day we were swimming in our amazing new pool was just under 5 weeks! The whole process was smooth and professional. I never had to ask about progress or next steps. The quality of work is amazing and the price was very competitive. I would recommend No Limit Pools and Spas to everyone in the market for a new pool. In addition to a great pool, you also get to support a local small business as well. You won't be disappointed with their level of service and product!

Finding the best pool builder is an arduous task, especially when you have never built or owned a pool. We knew one thing was for sure, not to sacrifice quality for cost. A couple referrals from friends and family led us to get quotes from Presidential Pools and National Pools & Spas respectively. A few other quotes came from Internet searches. Our friends highly referred Presidential because of the sheer size of the company and their likely hood to be in business to service their warranty. Ironically, almost every other company had a common warning about them despite, and some in spite, of their size.
My brother-in-law referred National mainly for their competitive price against Shasta Pools. After lots of research and reading reviews online, we (actually my wife) found No Limit Pools & Spas. No Limit was the only pool builder with a perfect record on the Better Business Bureau site. They had no record of complaints or resolutions. What surprised us was they were the only company with a positive review with BBB.
After reading many of their customer reviews, I called Marc for a quote. He was very straight forward and disclosed everything we needed to know about his pricing strategy and building process. Although he stressed that he does not compete on price alone, but strive to maintain quality and customer satisfaction, his quote was fairly reasonable in comparison with the ones we already received.
We heard from others that their pool building process took long due to conflicts with scheduling contractors. We hoped for a quick build process since it was already late August. Despite our financial situation and long loan process timeline, Marc agreed to start the process. We threw a curve ball at him by moving the whole pool further away from our house (looks different with paint on the ground than on paper).
The move was significant enough to require new permits. However, he absorbed the change and kept the same schedule with added cost to expedite the permit. We are so glad he accommodated the move since it gave us more room to add other features where we wanted. The whole process, from starting excavation to filling the pool, was a total of 28 days.
There was no unnecessary delays due to sub-contractor schedule conflicts. They completed our pool about two weeks before we expected based on typical build times, even before we would have gotten final funding for the loan. That came in just in the nick of time to avoid delay because I kept nagging the loan officer. Marc at No Limit Pools & Spas is one of the best pool builders who truly cares about customer satisfaction and will ensure the pool is built right.
We never worried if they were letting our project sit idle due to other projects. We even had to go out of town for a week during the critical time when you had to keep the shotcrete wet. To avoid delay to schedule, he took care of that part as well. It was a pleasant surprise when we came back to find the pool practically completed. We had a great experience with No Limit Pools & Spas and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

We were looking around for a pool and had several companies supply us with quotes. We put the pool process on hold. We saw an advertisement for No Limit Pool & Spas in the booklet of adds in the mail. We called the company and spoke with Marc. He came out and we told him what all we wanted. Marc came out and explained the quote and the products that his company offers.
Which I really liked as everyone else sent us an emailed quote and the break down which made no sense to me as their product was not explained. Just pretty much a bill and tell me when can they start. We were explained in person the breakdown of the quote when it was available. We then said we will be in contact and there was no pressure and no daily calls/emails asking for our decision.
We then called and stated we were ready to pursue with his company. We had a few changes in the quote and there was no hassle to try and upsell and persuade us to stay with the original quote. We were then quoted a 4-6 week build time. That following Monday, the pool was outlined in our back yard and we were pending the license from the city. That Thursday the hole was dug.
Every day during the week there was someone at our house working on the pool. There were no days in between that someone wasn't there to do something to the pool. From the day the hole was dug to the day we were swimming was less than 3 weeks. Due to them having someone out there everyday verses several days in between with no one there is why they could complete in such a timely matter.
I watched the process and there were no shortcuts being taken. His crew took their time and did it correctly the first time. The crew was very friendly and said hello every morning when I saw them and never made a mess of things. They did what they were there to do daily and cleaned up for the next piece of the pool to be completed. We did already have landscaping in the back yard and they moved and replaced what they could.
I never had to question anything out of the normal pool process. Our block wall was only down for a day which I loved as I wasn't fond of having an opening to our backyard for the full process like I've seen others do. Everything daily met our expectations. After final inspection for all of our outside doors, which was done on a Friday, they were there on Saturday doing the pebble (which was very interesting to watch) and water was added and filled by Sunday night. Monday they came and added the chemicals and we were swimming that night.
After the water was added and chemicals put in, Marc came over and explained everything that we needed to know about how the pool system works and stayed to make sure that we understood. It's nice to actually work with the owner of the company and not sales people who come and go and need training. It's their product that they use everyday and actually know the in's and out's. Marc kept us posted on the whole process and we knew everything that was going on.
I felt like this was not just a business he was running, it is his passion and takes pride in his work and his crew. We are so happy with our decision to go with this company and would use them over and over again.

When we decided to have a pool put in this year we got several quotes from different contractors and after meeting with 3 or 4 different companies decided to go with No Limit Pools. Jimmy was very easy to work with as was the owner, Marc. They were always available and helpful with any questions or changes we had. The pool was completed on schedule and we couldn't be more pleased.
We have neighbors that were having a pool installed at the same time by another contractor and theirs went way beyond what they had been told for completion. Whenever I have had any questions or concerns, they have been right there to take care of it and have gone above and beyond by fixing an irrigation line for me that had nothing to do with the pool. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a pool. Glenda R.

Marc Ballard, owner of No Limit Pools, and his team build stunning pools. They are professional, thorough, respectful, helpful and go above and beyond. To say they know what it means to delight their customers is an understatement. The details, thought process and care they put into their work is evident from start to finish. Pride of craftsmanship is apparent and it means love and enjoyment of your backyard as a homeowner. We look out our windows, sit on our patio and float in our pool with smiles on our faces because we know and see we made the right choice by selecting No Limit Pools.

My wife and I want to extend our thanks to you for building our pool. As you know, we talked with Paddock and California pools, we're so glad we decided to have your company build it for us. Your crew did a fantastic job. What we appreciated the most thou was your suggestions on what to do to add beauty to our pool. We have received so many compliments and we just love it.
