BEWARE. I'm so bummed to have to share this, but I feel, due to integrity, I must. In case you are searching for a reputable plumbing company in the Houston/Katy area, please read this first before choosing this company. My elderly mother + I have used this company multiple times over the years. No longer. I live out of state and come back to support each one of my elders multiple times a year so that they can continue to live in dignity and by their own design.
Over the years, I've personally hired plumbers from this company and built personal relationships that have been trusting and built on integrity. I like to establish loyalty-oriented relationships with companies, so that there's a history of trust and stability that can be accessed when needed. But - something's different now with this company.
Very different. Last week, my mother's kitchen faucet started leaking so I purchased a new one that matched the one needing replacement. I called Capital Care Plumbing, per usual, to schedule a replacement appointment. I was not told how much it would be to simply replace a faucet (that I already had on hand, with all parts supplied), and frankly, I didn't ask for a price over the phone due to the historical relationship. Cutting to the chase, for a 30 minute faucet replacement, the charge was $313.00.
For less than 30 minutes of work. $313.00. Period. The plumber who came out agreed that it was exorbitantly high, he said there was nothing he could do - it was company policy. For literally 30 minutes of work. I had the new faucet ready to go, he was in + out in less than 45minutes, including the very challenging time he had trying to figure out how to run the credit card for payment.
I was stuck + had to use them. My mother is ill and was asleep in the next room, I really had no choice. If I lived in Houston, I guarantee that I'd have not used them today. I would've found someone else with more reasonable pricing. But alas, I didn't have the luxury of researching for a better option (of which I'm sure there are, and will do so beginning today for future engagement).
If I lived here in Houston, I would NEVER use this company. I'm certain there are other companies with much higher integrity + concern for their customers, particularly loyal ones.

I've used Capital Care Plumbing numerous times over the years. The other day I had a client that needed a hot water heater replaced immediately right before their house was listed for sale and CCP was called at 8:00 AM and within 3 hours, knowing the sense of urgency, CCP got the hot water heater installed. Capital Care Plumbing has never let me down. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your plumbing needs!

Had a garden hose stuck on a hose bib. Needed to cover it before the upcoming freeze (Feb 3rd, 2022). Tried to remove the hose with Channel Locks and had the hose bib "explode" and start spewing water all over. To make things more interesting. The hose bib was also in line with the main water line feeding into the house. (A horrible design idea by the way!) James and Zee with Capital Care Plumbing ended up working out in the cold that night but did a great job replacing/repairng the line. If you need a plumber for an emergency or non-emergency, these are the guys to call!

James and his team have the best customer service, awesome values, they are really friendly and professional! I called Capital Care Plumbing regarding a noise I hear when using a certain faucet and I wasn't sure how to describe it other than a water dripping sound. James started explaining that it could be normal if it was while using the hot water but he would be willing to come and hear it.
I quickly started looking for videos on noises that pipes make in order to better understand and I found a few videos with the same noise I hear. You can argue that I didn't use their service since it was just a phone call. However, the way James and his team answered my worry call really put me at ease. From here on out if I ever have a plumbing issue I know I will be calling James and his team!

We had Capital Care Plumbing fix a leak we had by our main shutoff valve. They were very responsive, showed up when they said they would and Zee did a great job installing a new main shutoff valve along with a new valve for our irrigation system. Thank you! Services:Outdoor plumbing system repair, Plumbing pipe repair

Story. Accidentally texted James Warren of Capital Care Plumbing to please pick up some business supplies that were ready for me at NBD Graphics! This texted was meant for James Kenny of DMR Mortgage. Next thing you know my plumber, James, is standing at my front door with these packages being personally delivered (so wish I had a picture of him holding the supplies) He didn't hesitate to step up and help. Yes, I have COVID but he didn't even question why I had texted him. THAT is service. BIG shout out to James and Merry Christmas!

James and Zee came out to solve an issue that another plumber said they were more expert to fix. After assessing the situation, they actually recommended I wait to do any further work to see if the problem happens again. How honest is that? Instead of doing immediate costly repairs under the foundation, they told me the problem may not reoccur. I would absolutely recommend. You won't find honest plumbers like this around often!

James arrived on time and was very knowledgeable about the MOEN valve that was broken in the shower. Very courteous. He had all parts with him which made for a speedy fix and a cost efficient repair. I would encourage any and everyone to use him for your household plumbing issues. Thank You for the service and the talk. Services:Shower repair, Drain unblocking, Leak investigation and repair

Cost. Took way too long, and they did not tell us it would take all day. Work was good the guy came at 1:00 pm but said they would be here at 8:00 am. They were here until around 9:30 pm. The guy was very nice. Also, the receptionist did not give us a heads up that they would be late. I had to call them to find out. We did get a Senior Citizens discount.

Wow, best plumbing service I've ever encountered. Made it to my house less than an hr after my call. Stephen was professional, courteous and incredibly thorough. They came to unclog 2 sinks and ended up unclogging the AC pipes just to make sure they weren't part of the problem. Service:Drain unblocking

After reading several reviews and researching companies. I selected Capital Care. I call and spoke w/Julie she was very professional and warm. She explained their process and inquired if this was an emergency job. I said no and she ask me what day & time was good. We picked a day & time and she called me on that day to let me know the person that was coming and what time to expect them. Steve & Tucker came in very professional w/mask and booties on their feet.
They told us the bathroom faucet needed to be replaced (it was from the builder & cheap) we had them replace the kitchen faucet because I wanted a fancy one. We would use them again for our future plumbing needs. Great job guys!

Top notch professionalism and service. I cannot say enough about the customer service attention we received when we had a water supply line break in our foundation and flooding our kitchen from the island happening over a holiday weekend in our 4-year old Coventry built home. I had to shutdown the water to the entire house to prevent further flooding and damage to the custom cabinetry.
This is a big deal since I have 2 very young children and grandparents living in the house. I had 4 different plumbing companies come out to assess the damage and provide a plan of action to find and address the water break. James, the owner of Capital Care, personally came, assessed the damage, and provided a reasonable plan of action. But what was MOST AMAZING about the customer service we received was his offer to reroute the water supply line so that we would have water to the rest of the house and not have water continuing to flood our kitchen while we waited on our home insurance company to respond.
No other plumbing companies made this offer. Also, the 3 other plumbing companies either wanted to tear out the kitchen floor tiles and cabinets or tunnel from outside the house and below our foundation to locate the water break, which would have been overkill. True impressive experience was shown when James was able to determine where the water supply lines were coming down the kitchen exterior wall behind the cabinets and cut an opening perfectly in the cabinet back wall and drywall to expose them. Thank you for taking care of my family!

We've used Capital Care twice this year and are very satisfied. They scheduled us immediately, arrived on time, gave us quick diagnostics of the problem, were upfront and clear on prices of materials and repair. We felt like they were looking out for us and helping us save money, instead of recommending more expensive options. Plumbers have been super nice and pleasant to work with too. I would recommend!

We needed someone to see if our master bathroom shower had a leak behind the walls. They came and did some thorough testing for a reasonable price. In the end, there was no leak. We just had to put in better shower door guards. They even fixed our garbage disposal issue for no charge! You cannot ask for better service. I will be using Capital Care Plumbing next time I have ANY plumbing issues.

Quick Response, Professional, Fixed the Leak Stephen Finch just left my home and he repaired a leak that was pinhole and inside my wall. He checked all surrounding areas first, checked the AC in the attic, the laundry room, under the sink - nothing. He listened at the walls - nothing. I knew he'd have to go in the walls - he went in through a nearby closet and found the leak - pinhole but spraying water.
He plugged the leak, let it dry, checked it for security - all done! This is my second visit from this company in the last 7 months - each time I have been happy. Highly recommend this company. They wrap their shoes prior to entering your home, they are professional, quick, polite, and efficient. Cheers!

I do business with Capital Care Plumbing. So I've had an "inside view" that most people won't get to see. I've witnessed first hand how they really give their customers a personal touch that's missing from many businesses these days. Many times when calling a plumber, the situation can be kind of urgent. I've seen the associates at Capital Care Plumbing listen intently and do all they can to get those urgent situation resolved quickly. Capital Care Plumbing is the company I will trust to handle any of my plumbing needs!

Sent a request via their website and also left a voicemail as I had a plumbing leak in my attic. @4 hours later and still no contact by this company. That's fine, I gave Mercy Plumbing a call and 7 hours later, Mercy showed up and resolved my issue. It should be noted that I am in management for a homeowners insurance company. Guess which plumbing company I will NOT recommend to my agents?

Sorry but I feel ripped of by this company. I asked how much it would be to unclog a toilet BEFORE they came out to see if I could afford it, they said till the person came out they could not give me a price but there was a trip charge of $20. The guy was not in my house 2 minutes and said to snake the toilet was $169, which as a single parent I can't afford.
I then called a handyman so has 30 years of work experience and he says no need to snake it. He removes the toilet gets out the object my kid stuffed in there and $40 later my toilet is done.

Extremely happy with our new water heater! We found out that our 16+ year old unit was leaking Sunday evening, so I gave them a call right then & there. We all agreed that it would be best for them to come by the following morning and they were here bright & early. They gave us a quote, picked up the new unit, and had it hooked up by Noon. Personally, I don't think they are very expensive for a highly legitimate and professional company. Will happily recommend and use again. Thanks guys

I had a leak around a vent, and originally thought it was an AC problem. After two AC companies claiming they could fix it with just giving me a brand new system, I called my favorite plumbers just to make sure.guess what? Leaky pipe, NOT AC. I really recommend Aaron from Capital Care Plumbing. They have saved me so much money in the past compared to other plumbing services, and Aaron specifically was a joy, explained everything well, gave me a fair price, and saved me a lot of money by actually fixing the problem instead of taking advantage of me.

After twelve years in Katy, and several "experiences" with other plumbers, we have to say this referral of Capital Care Plumbing, from our long-time friend & most appreciated a/c serviceman (Ben Vollmar of Polar a/c), has proven to be our best Plumbing experience yet. James Warren (owner) of Capital Care Plumbing demonstrates all the excellence you hope for in home servicing of any kind. Courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, clean, expert, efficient, trustworthy, and even value-priced!
Today our experience, with an emergency interior gas leak (pipe) repair could not have gone any better. Previously, we had only two home services providers (in Katy) we classified as top of their respective classes (a/c = Polar A/c, and Landscaping: Superior Lawn), but now we proudly add a third one: Plumbing: Capital Care! If needed, please try them, with our highest recommendation.

After getting ignored for 3 days after the estimate was due by another plumber that I found via Lowe's, I was very happy that Capital was able to come out as quickly as they did. I was going on day 3 with no hot water in December! Aaron trusted that I knew the capacity of my water heater as well as how tall it was - can't say that for other plumbers - and was probably able to handle it faster than if he had to come to my home to spec out a new one. Is it pricey? Yes, but it was less than a $1k and the people at Lowe's gave me the impression it would be more than that due to new regulations. So thanks again Aaron and Capital Care - now I'm going to take a nice hot shower!

We had a leak in what appeared to be our upstairs bathroom. We normally use Katy Plumbing 911, but they were busy and recommended Capital Care Plumbing. They gave us a 6 to 9 PM Window and arrived at 7:30. Pete quickly identified the problem, went upstairs in the attic to confirm and was in and out in 20 minutes. He also told us how to fix up the stain left of the ceiling.
Best of all he did not charge as "We didn't do anything". This is takes an honest company. I would highly recommend them and am now have an additional plumbing crew to call on.
