S & B Plumbing

On October 4-6, 2021, the S&B Plumbing crew did a complete re-piping of my house that was built in 1980. There had been three pipe breaks during the February freeze. They replaced all the old galvanized pipes with Pex pipes. They installed two new toilets and a new water heater. Plus they did extras like the construction of a wooden framework to support the old kitchen double sink.

They even donated a used kitchen faucet head. In June, 2022, they replaced the corroded tub fixtures in the master bathroom. S&B work crews do excellent work and are friendly and courteous. The prices are fair and reasonable. I was referred to S&B by a family friend. I have been recommending their services to all my friends and neighbors. *****

My husband and I had a leak in our dining room. We called S&B Plumbing and they had someone sent over quickly. He came and gave us an honest answer which we appreciated. We had two other plumbers come out who did not give us a straight answer and did not know what it would cost. S&B were very professional, honest and on time. We are very pleased with their work and professionalism. I will always refer S&B to friends and family!

Steve and Carlos had to remove (and replace) part of the door frame to get the new water heater to fit in the tight closet. They also had to replace part of a leaking pipe and repair venting in the attic and seal storm collar on the roof. While they were here, they reset the toilets in master and guest bathrooms. They called ahead, arrived on time, were courteous and cleaned up afterward. They take the proper precautions and get the proper permits, etc. We have used them before and will use them again.

We used S&B Plumbing to repair one of our toilets earlier this week. While they were here, I asked Mike if he would go in the attic and do a visual inspection on our water heater (which we bought in 2004!). Needless to say, we were due to replace it. I made an appointment for today. Mike called and informed me when they would arrive and he and Reid showed up exactly when he said they would.

They installed attic decking from the attic door to the water heater, removed the old water heater and installed the new one. The old water heater had quite a bit of sediment in it, making it difficult to drain and VERY heavy to remove. On top of that, they installed a new kitchen faucet I had purchased. We are VERY happy with the work that was done. Mike and Reid were prompt, courteous and kept us updated throughout the process. We will definitely be using them for any future plumbing work we need to have completed.

Great service and professionalism. Honestly I am always a little nervous when dealing with plumbers and electricians; I am not sure if the bill will be much more than what I would think is reasonable. From S&B plumbing I get an estimate in advance that is reasonable and they make sure I understand the repairs and the parts and labor involved.

We recently used S & B Plumbing to help us with some leaky faucet repairs in a couple of bathrooms. Both Cody and Austin came out and did a great job. We really do appreciate S & B Plumbing's honesty. They always send out the most professional of plumbers. You can trust them and for that they will continue to receive our business.

We've used S&B Plumbing since the 1980's and have always had excellent service and great advice. Very professional and really nice people. We've never had "call-backs" as we had with others. They always work according to code and when they leave I know the work has been done right and will last. It's always tempting to try a cheaper plumber but we've learned from experience it's just not worth the risk and aggravation.

Junior and his apprentice were very professional. In addition to installing a toilet, they fixed a sink faucet issue so I didn't have to replace the faucet. I've been using S&B for years. Their work is excellent. I don't take risks with plumbing that could cause water damage. That is why I bring in S&B to handle all my plumbing needs.

Excellent service and super friendly! Johnny and Ryan came out today to check our gas line on the fireplace to make sure it was functional and safe. Fortunately it was working fine and they also helped to show us how to use it and gave basic instructions! Really appreciate the information!

We have always received great service with S&B. I have a new dryer and could smell gas (I turned it off at the wall). Mike came out to check connection from wall to machine, which was fine. Stefan was amazing from S&B plumbing. Came right out and unclogged my kitchen sink very quickly and efficiently with no problems at all. He was very nice and polite and respectful and didn't try to sell me on anything extra or try to over charge me for something i didn't need. i would definitely use S&B again and i would recommend having Stefan come out to do the work!

We needed a plumber to install two faucets in our master bathroom, and noticed that someone had recommended S & B Plumbing on the NextDoor app. I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist was both professional and outgoing. That first contact with a company makes such an impact! On the day of installation, Cody called and said that he and Dalton had finished up a previous job early, and asked if I'd mind if they came an hour early than the time range we had set up.

I said "sure!" They showed up and got right to work. When they were done, the faucets looked fantastic, and they had cleaned up to the point where, except for having new faucets, you couldn't even tell they had been there. There was another teeny tiny issue I had Cody take a look at regarding our guest bathroom shower, and it took him all of 20 seconds to fix it.

Some companies would have charged a small fee for what he did, but he waved us off, saying not to worry about it. When they left, my husband and I realized we had a question regarding the faucets, and called Cody. He gave us a full explanation, and didn't leave us feeling as if we were bothering him. We can't recommend Cody and Dalton from this company enough. We've definitely found our plumbing company for any future needs!

Recently I had damage done to my shopping centers water line on the weekend. I had to call an emergency plumber who didn't/couldn't help, I called S&B Monday morning and Bo was out at my center in the matter of hours and fixed the issue. This isn't the first time I've had to call S&B in a pinch, they are always so responsive and fix the issue as quickly as possible. I won't use another plumber or service other than S&B. They are by far the best company out there and I suggest them to all of my friend, family, and coworkers.

We had a new toilet installed and a outside faucet water shutoff replaced. Morgan and Justin did a excellent installation. They are very professional and eagerly willing to assist with other plumbing issues. Everything was cleaned up and the job was completed in a timely manner. UPDATE REVIEW / 06/25/2021: These guys are the real deal. So easy to deal with. Water heater had a problem w the pilot switch which happens sometimes with machines. They came out same day to diagnose and had it fixed by the next day due to having to order parts for it and everything was covered under warranty. Johnny, Cierra, Lisa, everyone was awesome.

I would suggest signing up for their yearly membership program b/c it will pay for itself in the long run as you get priority scheduling and %off of any work done, etc. Give them a chance to win your business and you won't be disappointed. All three were prompt and courteous, but S&B Plumbing had the best value of all 3. I did my research on NextDoor and here on Google. S&B was recommended the most by my neighbors and others. They were on time, courteous, and had the water heater installed in the attic in like an hour. Everyone from the office to the estimator to the service technicians all were courteous and helped me quickly. I will continue to use this company for any future plumbing needs and you should give them a try too as you will not be disappointed.

Bo and his team came to replace our broken sewer line. They were professional and did a great job. They also did a great job refilling the trench after the work was complete.

Called this company for a second opinion after Abacus Plumbing told us we needed a sewer pipe connection fixed (rough estimate of $4200). Bo called and I told him what they had said and asked what they would charge. He said $900 to fix the connection and replace the sewer line clean out - but he didn't think we actually needed it because the camera shown to me of the area didn't even have any roots showing.

He told me what to watch out for (sinking of the soil in the area, sluggish drain in kitchen and toilets backing up, etc. We'll be watching for that, and definitely call S & B Plumbing (SugarLand Plumbing). They have lots of really good reviews too.

I can't recommend this company enough. S&B repiped my condo, installed a new water heater and replaced a section of vent pipe. Among the eight plumbers I talked to, S&B was the only one that was reasonably priced and that caught a problem with the venting in my water heater. The other plumbers either missed it or charged an exorbitant amount for the project. Also, S&B were the only ones that proposed rerouting a portion of my new piping.

This simplified the repiping project because the plumbers did not have to install new pipe behind my dishwasher, oven and cabinetry. S&B even came back to fix some problems caused by the painter who repatched my holes. He had loosened my shower valves and the p-trap under my sink. S&B came back immediately and repaired both items free of charge. Again, the company was incredible from start to finish.

This place came highly recommended after our tankless water heater broke. We called several different places with an unbelievable service charge. S&B came out evaluated the situation and gave us excellent service with affordable pricing. Thank you again for not price gouging during the storm.

Can not say enough good things about this company. The owner of the company came to my house the SAME DAY and fixed my split water valve at a great price! They are a local company here in Sugar Land and they really care ABOUT YOU!

I called S&B for a second opinion and ended up going with them for a large job. Our new/old home had some major plumbing problems to a kitchen/utility room addition and required 50+ feet of new drainage pipe and their entire team, from the office to the crew, did a great job. Very professional, completed it quickly, cleaned up after their work and the cost seemed reasonable compared to the other estimate we had gotten.

I recommend S & B Plumbing for any job, small or big. Recently I had 2 major leaks deep in my yard. They have all the high tech equipment to correctly diagnose the problem and were able to make the repairs in a timely manner. This company is amazing! My brand new water heater suddenly went out. I have a 19 month old daughter so needless to say this was NOT convenient! S&B Plumbing was able to get me scheduled quickly. They also added me to an emergency list which resulted in 2 plumbers arriving to my house the very next morning (after someone canceled). Vince & Austin were so professional and courteous!

They answered all my questions and explained everything they were doing along the way. In the end, they got my water heater back up & running in about 10-15 minutes. We had a water leak coming through a wall due to a clogged AC drain. I sent a service request message via the S&B Plumbing's website at midnight on a Sunday and I received a callback from them first thing Monday morning. The S&B's Customer Service lady was very empathic, she dispatched a tech crew to our house as soon as possible. Cody, the technician, and his partner were courteous, and professional.

They didn't get the problem fixed the first time around, but they returned a second time with additional equipment and got it fixed for good. We have always been satisfied with S&B plumbing's service. We highly recommend them!

I can't tell you how much I hate these people. First of all, thank you s&b for sending me spam mail. I've waited two years to find you again so I can warn everyone about your business practices. I hired this company to fix the shower knobs in my parent's house back in 2017. I was visiting at the time (I don't live in Texas) and I was leaving for the airport that day.

They came over and "assessed" the situation - two elderly people, don't know squat about plumbing, my bags packed at the door, and an urgent situation. They took one look at the shower. Literally 3 seconds and said "oh, you have to replace the whole copper plumbing behind the wall". Why does it need to be replaced? They were happy to show me.

They cut a hole in the wall, used a torch to cut out the main part that connects the hot/cold lines to the knobs (all copper). showed it to me and said. see, IT'S ALL BENT FROM USE. Think about this for a second. a) it was behind the wall, so how could they know that just by looking at it, b) copper piping that thick doesn't just bend or get twisted out of shape from turning the hot/cold knobs.

The job should have been a simple replacement of the hot/cold knobs which were loose. Look at the photo of my receipt to see how they chalked this one up. It's worded in a way that makes it seem like they did a routine install. I was in no position to argue because I had to leave. If I didn't get it fixed that day my parents wouldn't be able to shower or get someone to fix it later. I can't express how much I hate your company, your staff, and I sincerely hope your company goes under.

We love S&B plumbing--especially Junior! He replaced our galvanized pipes with PEX a couple of years ago and did a great job. It made a huge improvement in our water pressure. Today we had him come out for an unrelated issue: a pipe connected to our water heater was rusty and we were afraid it could burst. He checked it but found that the rust was superficial and the pipe itself was solid.

He could have easily just replaced it and charged us a few hundred dollars, so we really appreciated his honesty. Everyone at S&B, including the front office staff, has been great to work with: competent, professional, and reliable.

Braulio and his partner came out to repair a natural gas leak. They quoted me way under what another reputable company quoted me. They did an excellent job, were courteous, and were knowledgeable. Above all, I found them to be honest and competent.

OMG! What an amazing experience I just had with Mike and Richmond from S & B Plumbing. They were knowledgeable, professional and personable. 'Was so impressed with the care they took to clean up the work site too. S&B was responsive, called in the morning and they arrived by 3pm, and fair and honest with their pricing. I have now used this company 4 or 5 times. They have come to my home and a rental property and each time they are polite and professional. The technicians are great and the prices are fair for the work being done. Keep up the great work guys!

This is an excellent company. They are Professional, Prompt, Fair, Honest, and Friendly, and have never failed me after many years and many service calls.

I originally called another provider (is listed as an A) who was closer to my house. No one answered so I left a voicemail. After 2 hours of no call back, I tried S&B. They answered the phone immediately, very politely asked a few details of my problem and understood exactly what it was, quoted $119, then set up a visit the next morning.

Sugar Land Plumbing, a division of S&B Plumbing, was very responsive to my call. When I asked about ballpark costs for some of the items, the representative was cordial and outlined some general guidelines for pricing. I had no problem getting an appointment and the plumber was very professional, courteous and neat in both his appearance and his work product.

I had a hot water heater problem. S&B offered best case (thermocouple replaced) pricing as well as worst case (replace Honeywell controls) pricing. Now I know what I in for and I appreciate that. Repairs were scheduled the same day. S&B got me back in hot water without parts but advised due to the age of equipment I'd be better off replacing and offered pricing. Not the cheapest option but seemed honest advice. Crew was very professional.

My yard service line broke in the middle of the yard between the water meter and the house. I called S&B who arrived in less than 2 hours. After locating the break, they determined that the existing yard service line was made of polybutylene which is no longer allowed by code. I was quoted $250 to perform a repair or $900 - $1,000 to replace the yard service line.

Water was accumulating in my outside patio although no water was showing inside the house other than in the garage area. But the floor underneath my vinyl flooring was beginning to raise up. S&B sent a plumber and he found the leak quickly, fix it and spoke to my insurance representative.

Amazing service. Friendly and very fast! I called them at 9:45 am to tell them I had a broken pipe in my garden from the main valve. They came in and by 12:30 life was back to normal! Thank you!

After my ridiculous experience with Abacus, the folks at S&B were a breath of fresh air! I had two appointments with them this week, one 3-5 PM and the second 8:30-10:30 AM. On both occasions, they arrived at the beginning of the appointment window - great start! Their techs were knowledgeable and friendly. They completed a quality repair for a very reasonable price. Being new to the area, I can check this box; I now have my plumber. Nice work, S&B!

S&B saved me $500 compared to my first estimate. I called them in the afternoon and I had a new hot water heater before noon the next day. They were prompt, professional and worked quickly. They work all over town.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. The plumber (Steven) was here less than 5 minutes TOTAL. He charged $140 for clearing a drain. I have had this service completed several times in the past and have paid $92.50 - for the SAME EXACT SERVICE!

56.25 just to come out and give you a ball-park figure. If you call them you just toasted sixty bucks with no work done if they quote high. Don't waste your time when so many other reputable companies have no problem giving you a quote at no price. Any reputable company should be confident enough that their price is an honest price. But not this one. Last time I had called them they never showed up for the job, I should have known better than to try a 2nd time.

They showed up 1 hour after I called. Addressed the problem efficiently costing me less overall than other plumber's estimate. Great bunch of people and well run service. Will definitely call them again.
